LOYD AUERBACH, M.S. (Parapsychology), Director of the Office of Paranormal Investigations and President of the Forever Family Foundation, has been in the field for over 30 years focusing on education and field investigation. The author of 9 books including The Ghost Detectives’ Guide to Haunted San Francisco, co-authored with the late renowned psychic Annette Martin. His newest release is ESP WARS: East and West, covering the psychic spying programs of the US and Soviet Union/Russia, co-authored by Dr. Edwin C. May (who ran the US program) and Dr. Victor Rubel. If you're looking for a more scientific approach to understanding reincarnation, channeling, and possession then this is a good primer for doing so. The book lays out the studies that have been done in the past and the methods used for eliminating erroneous data from "paranormal" studies.

The book is a bit dry at times and I often put it down to read other things but I eventually came back to read it as it is a fascinating subject and eventually it does show that there is enough evidence to warrant further study and potentially prove that these things are a real phenomenon despite the authors skepticism with the subject. The author does strike a good balance with skepticism but enough of an open mind to dig deeper to prove or disprove.
