Short, Sexy and Steamy.... Wait for it.... my three favourite colors!!

David is trying to juggle work, dating and being a rock for his two best friends in this third instalment of 52 First Dates. The opening scene for this episode will leave you breathless and sweating, it definitely starts out with a bang. Although David has already ruled Rav out as potential husband material, there chemistry is electric and I so look forward to their random romps throughout these episodes.

Trying to stay on task, David sets up his next date with an online hookup, Matt. But meeting Matt is proving to be more of a challenge than David initially thought. Add to that a date that left him feeling hope that his little plan might actually bring him one step closer to his goal of finding a husband, only to have his dream snatched out from under him with an unexpected move. And then there are those pesky, sexy, twins that keep popping up on every street corner... Theo and Alex.

I am absolutely loving this series. With each new episode, Lusch builds a stronger connection between David and the reader. And David’s two best friends with their real life issues brings a reality to the storyline and ensures the plot won’t be all about the sex. So while there are some oh so sexy, spine tingling, toe curling scenes; there is content woven in as well.

Blind dates gone bad, bathroom hook-ups and two equally delicious and sexy men are leaving David, Seeing Double!

This is book three in the series and I do suggest you read them all in order to really understand what’s going on .
Book 1: The Man PLAN
Book 2: Friends and FRENCHMEN
Book 3: Seeing DOUBLE
In Seeing Double David has previously been on a few dates and is wearing down fast. It’s not as easy lining up actual dates as it is hookups and he is really having a blast with one of his hookups. He is also dealing with work, a friend that was recently mugged and one that is pregnant, and two very sexy Greek twins
I find these stories fast, easy to read, very hot and yet interesting also. We are taken on a trip through a man’s life while he juggles work, friends, dating and trying to find the one to settle down with, written in an interesting, humorous, hot and sexy way. I found this very easy to relate to and yet entertaining.
If you like stories that continue such as serials that are short, sweet, funny, interesting and very hot, searching for a life partner, Mediterranean men, teachers, Graphic designers, and Greek twins this is for you!

This is the third book in the 52 First Dates Series by A. Lusch called Seeing Double!

I suggest reading book one and two, The Man Plan and Friends and Frenchmen first as it gives a better understanding of the character David and the premise for the 52 First Dates!

David is on the manhunt and is hoping he doesn't have to finish the challenge 52 First Dates. He has some successful dates so now he feels that this process will actually work. His main problem now is trying to find the determination to keep going on the challenge to find the husband of his dreams.

He is trying to juggle work, dating all these guys and being there for his troubled friends. The scene at the start of the book is amazingly hot and leaves you thinking......WOW. David has come to the conclusion that Rav isn't the one for him but he can't seem to get him out of his head and ignore the chemistry that they have and the sexual meet ups are undeniably hot! David has set up another date with an online guy named Matt but meeting him doesn't seem as easy as he thought it would be. He is still feeling vulnerable after his last date where he thought he found his true future husband but when something unexpected ends that dream, and then add Theo and Alex, the crazy and very hot twins, that keep showing up everywhere. There is no lack of men in David's life right now as he has become very hot in demand.

I loved this series so much and really hope the author comes out with more books or another series as his writing is so brilliant. He writes in first person which I love that format so much and Lusch does such a great job at it. I liked that David's friends had real life issues and not just some filler that other authors add but that it adds to the plot in this book. David is there for his friends and the problems that they face while still trying to find Mr. Right. What makes David seeing double and not just the sexy twins but dates gone wrong, sexy and hot hook-ups and this was so beautifully written. Will David find his husband after everything he has gone through and will this challenge work? Will David have an HEA? I strongly recommend this part three, Seeing Double, as well as the entire series by A. Lusch!!!!!

I don't know how David keeps up with all the men coming into and out of his life!

In this installment, which starts smack bang in the middle of a sex scene, David hooks up with a couple of guys while maintaining contact with other men he has connected with over recent weeks.

It's hot and sexy but short. I'm starting to get the 'dates' mixed up and I'm glad I read the first three episodes in the series pretty much back-to-back - too long a gap between stories would make it harder to keep up with who's who. Which leads me to wonder how long we have to wait for the next episode.

I'm rating this 3.5. I really like the writing style, I like the characters of David and his friend Jess and the sex scenes are pretty hot. I am enjoying the story but somehow want more from each book. I feel like I'm reading a couple of chapters of a longer book and then left hanging with nothing really resolved, the chapter just finishing. I think I'm possibly too much of an impatient person to read series - in the past I have waited until the last book is released so I could read all in one go. I think this might just be the case here and my rating for the series overall would be higher than for just one book.

A review by The Blogger Girls.

By now, you should have read the first two books where you will get the story behind the challenge David has set for himself. The hunt is continuing, but David is now hoping he won’t have to make it to the end of the challenge. He is having dates, but has been finding it difficult to juggle everything in his life with the dating.

He is still seeing Rav, as he cannot deny their chemistry, even as he realizes Rav isn’t the One. There is no lack of hot sexy action here, as David has become quite popular. There are dates galore, both good and bad, hot hookups and even some sexy twins, all of which have David seeing double. I love how much we really get to know David. He shares his friends and their issues with us and they really add something to this story. Even though he is dealing with his own issues, David is always there for his friends.

These are all written in first person which worked so well here. These stories are very well written and pull you right in. They are probably more fun to read back to back, but either way, I’m hooked. I can’t wait to see how this plays out and it David’s Plan is successful. I want him to find his man, so I sure hope that’s the case. I highly recommend this fun series.

In this installment of David’s search for a husband there is a little more disappointment on David’s part. He hasn’t given up at all but this time he actually makes a connection with someone and it doesn’t work out as he would have liked. I felt so bad for him. “Suddenly the vivid world around me seems devoid of color and I feel completely blasted of air.” He takes it hard, our David.

David still has his booty calls with Rav (and Jessica gets an eyeful during one of them, which I loved). Rav is sexy and hot but really, he isn’t THE ONE for David (I hope, anyway). We do get to meet Matt, a disappointment. And the twins make their arrival. I’m actually very pro Alex but oh, David, how are you going to explain Theo?

David is self deprecating and funny. I want him to find a man, a good man, THE man. Next installment, please.

In his semi-autobiographical serial “52 First Dates”, author Algenon Lusch is taking a page from his own life and translating it into the story of a man who’s reached the age of thirty and had an epiphany—he’s tired of the endless string of Mr. Right Nows in his life and is ready to find his Mr. Right, the one man with whom he can build a life and a future. What he’s quickly discovering, however, much to his chagrin and a few unsuccessful dates (and one very near miss) later, is that he was hoping he wouldn’t have to actually go on all fifty-two dates to find his soul mate.

David's story gets better and better with each installment of the 52 First Dates Series. The challenge has moved beyond the initial excitement, David is working it into his real life, the drama his friends are dealing with, and the occasional hook up that keeps things spicy. There's a little heart break, a lot of butterflies, and two very sexy twins that both want our hero. I'm so rooting for David to find Mr. RIght!
