Unearthing the past could destroy the future. Fin Brooks races against time itself.

When the Rot spreads to an Accord-protected planet, Yormanth, Ranger Fin Brooks and the ragtag Black Sheep crew plunge into action. But what begins as a mission to save one world quickly spirals into an ancient mystery that threatens the entire galaxy.

Old criminal rivals are already a step ahead of Fin and the Rangers. They know what lies buried beneath treacherous jungles, prehistoric alien ruins, and deep, subterranean oceans teeming with dangerous secrets.
Echoes of the past haunt the galaxy. History threatens to repeat.

Battling murderous monsters, outsmarting devious enemies, and somehow keeping his ship—and sanity—intact, Fin must unlock the secrets of a long-lost civilization before it's too late. The fate of worlds hangs in the balance, and failure isn't just death—it's extinction.

Book 5 of this rollicking sci-fi adventure from Anthony J. Melchiorri. It's perfect for fans of JN Chaney, MR Forbes, and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

A magnum opus in sci-fi book series.

In the previous book Finn and his calloused, jaded crew continue into their second mission. Now they face the Rot which has not only infected a much loved crew member but is becoming a galaxy-wide pandemic. Obviously,  there are bad actors involved and in the way.

Despite the very unexpected previous twists and turns, the crew defies orders but exceed the goals. Now they race against time as well as foes.

Although humble, Dr Melchiorri is an incredibly well educated and intelligent person. A Renaissance man. Philosophy, theology, mythology, history, human behavior, his vast travels on Earth, not to mention bioengineering are integrated into his stories. This series really is magnificently evolved  crafted.

The further adventures of Fin and Crew

Once again Fin, Renata and Drake along with their plant / AI and canine companion fight to determine the source and cure for Rot. With Theta critically ill and criminal mastermind Deg spreading the deadly infection on more worlds, the PSD Rangers once again risk life and attached extremities to rid the universe of the evil animal cruelist.

We've gotten to know our favorite Rangers quite well recently as they've travelled the galaxy tracking down animal abuse on a universal scale. The amazing storyline as told by a master storyteller is a great read indeed!

Great book

Must read. Great book. Please read the entire series. One book leads into the next. I can't wait for the 6th book to come out. I think Fin and family will need a more powerful ship to compete with Deg.
