Treasured college football coach by day, Reed Point’s most notorious bachelor by night—and the thorn in my side for the past 10 years.
It wasn’t always that way. Once upon a time, Tucker and I were inseparable. We grew up next door to each other and he was almost like a brother to me. My closest friend. But as we got older, things started to change. Secretly, I loved his cocky grin and the way his blue eyes would lock on mine. I was resigned to lusting after him from afar until one day he kissed me—only to reject me the very next day.
Since then, I’ve tried to keep as much distance between Tucker and I as possible. When we do cross paths, which is more often than I’d like seeing as our parents are best friends, that man still knows exactly how to get under my skin.
Then one night, Tucker corners me on a date and demands to know who the guy is. I tell him it’s just a fling, not that it’s any of his business. The truth is I’m leaving town in a few months, so I’m not looking for anything serious. But when I admit to having certain needs, Tucker comes up with an agreement.
That’s how I end up in a frienemies-with-benefits pact with my childhood best friend. We have a list of rules—no sleeping over, no cuddling and definitely no falling in love. But before long it’s taking everything in me not to break every single one.
Catching feelings for Tucker Collins is a very bad idea. There are a million reasons why I should walk away.
But it’s hard to leave when I’m having so much fun. Tucker is Reed Point’s hottest bachelor. The boy who broke my heart. And my new dirty secret.
Contemporary romance author writing sweet, steamy happily ever afters with swoon-worthy heroes and confident, sexy heroines. Romace reads are my happly place. XO
self note - H/h were friends now enemies. He is a whore and it's just another book with it's always been you but i stuck my dick everywhere else trope 🥴
thank you Love Notes PR and Lily Miller for the ARC <3
This book started out SO GOOD! the "hate", the tension, just the altogether mystery of what actually happened between them that made them go from best friends to basically strangers.
but it didn't last long. the tension was over way too quickly and they fell for each other like the last 10 years didn't have any influence whatsoever.
it moved too fast for the things that we got. it had so much potential if it had been a slowburn. i was bored when they kissed which was about the 40% point.
im already not a big fan of friends to lovers because to do it right takes a lot of effort! but i always keep up hope to see if someone pulls it off the way i craaaaveee it. this was close tho! outside of the fast moving romance, i didn't mind the friends to lovers trope to it so that's a succes!
i'm sure i'm in the minority here, and im sure this book will work for a lot of people, but for me it would've been even better if it moved a bit more slow.
all in all, a solid romance. you'll meet a fun friendgroup who you'll end up loving. the parents of the characters played quite a big role and they were also quite enjoyable to read about.
you can't go wrong if you just want a fast read and turn off your brain.

This was my first book by Lily and I’m kicking myself for not finding her sooner! Her writing is SO.DANG.GOOD.
I LOVE these MCs!! 😆 Tucker and Daisy have made it on my list of favorite book couples of 2024 for sure! They felt so relatable and had some of the best banter 😉. I knew right away from the first chapter that there was going to be some bomb ass sexual chemistry and she did not disappoint!! Tucker is definitely this golden retriever playboy but I really enjoyed how honest he is and that he did and said what he wanted without regret. Daisy is exactly what he needed and she most definitely knew how to hold her own. They were so fun to read, I couldn’t get enough! PERFECTION ❤️
Also….I’m pretty sure I re read the pool scene 3 times in a row..🔥🌶️

Thank you Lily for the ARC! Absolutely loved this book and I’m a huge fan of the cover 😍 beautiful!!
Tucker just took the top spot for fav MMCs by Lily because WOW was he ever perfect!!! It is probably no surprise to anyone, but I am obsessed with all things that Lily writes and her books just keep getting better and better (if you don’t believe me, you should see my kindle highlights - pretty sure half the book was highlighted 😂).
Daisy and Tucker are practically family and have been best friends since childhood. As they got older things changed and for 10 years, Tucker has been a pain in Daisy’s butt. Daisy wants to see the world and before she embarks on her trip to Italy, Tucker offers her a friends with benefits relationship until she leaves.
I loved watching Daisy and Tucker’s relationship go from “can’t stand to be around one another” to “friends with benefits”. I’m not typically a friends to lover fan, but this was done SO well and I felt like their friendship really made their relationship stronger.
This is the perfect blend of small town romance and sports romance that will have you swooning and laughing. The banter between Daisy and Tucker was top tier! And the spice - my oh my!!!!! - the pool scene. IYKYK.

They felt super relatable & I loved seeing how their relationship progressed throughout the book. Quite literally two of my favorite MC’s to date 🫶🏻
Also loved the spice in this story. The mouth on Tucker had be absolutely BLUSHING & that pool scene?? Will live rent free in my mind for a really long time 🥵

**eARC** Review of Never Say Never was my second book by author Lily Miller.
Summary: Never Say Never is a childhood best friends to lovers, small town romance that follows both Tucker and Daisy finding their way back together. These two have been best friends pretty much their whole lives due to their parents raising them together, basically all growing up as one big happy family. After 10 years Tucker approaches Daisy with a friends with benefits pact with an expiration date of when Daisy heads for her solo trip to Italy. But as we know, somewhere along the line, everything changes during the pact.
Starting this story took me a bit, but after I passed the 16% mark, I really enjoyed Daisy and Tucker’s story. I absolutely loved how supportive Daisy was of Tuckers dreams to Coach football and some day make it to the NFL, even if his own dad didn’t support him. These two were so adorable and it was so special to watch them find their way back to each other, and their relationship develop into something so beautiful. That pool scene had me blushing! I was like, damn gurl! Lol Tucker’s epilogue had me feeling so emotional and happy for them! 🥹Just an absolute perfect ending for a sweet story.
Thank you so much to Lily and @lovenotes.pr for the ARC that I absolutely adored this book and can’t wait to read more from these characters.

╰┈➤ I quite enjoyed the beginning of the story, particularly the introduction of the characters and their backstories as childhood friends which I found rather adorable. The tension between them was palpable and drew me in right away. However, as I read further, I felt the plot started to drift and I found it increasingly difficult to stay engaged and connect with the characters. The storyline felt a bit rushed in places and inconsistent. The 'frenemies' trope, which I had been looking forward to, didn’t quite deliver as expected which was a tad disappointing. Still, there were moments in the book that I genuinely enjoyed.

I've been sent this advance reader copy of Never Say Never by Love Notes PR for an honest review. And I'll shoot straight forward - this is one of the best frienamies to lovers I've ever read. The romance between Tucker and Daisy was cute, hot, toe-curling, heartwarming, and absolutely adorable. It took me only a few chapters to fall in love with them. It surprised me because I didn't expect it to be this good. The spice was spicy, the cuteness was ... cutie! What is there more to ask for? And did I mention that these two best friends since birth, who also share a birthday, became friends with benefits? You are in for quite a ride!
Tropes: * Frienemies to Lovers * Small-town romance * Second chance (kind of) * Spicy sports romance (MMC is a coach)
It's coming out on the 8th of October, so make sure to put it in your tbr! Also, it's book 3 of the Harbor Haven series, so make sure to check the previous ones as well.
I believe that if a book has some sports romance rep, of any kind, I would end up loving it. This book has proven it.
This book was so good, the spice, the chemistry and how the frienemies turned into friends with benefits and ended up falling hard for each other!! It couldn't get any better.
Tucker Collins was so swooning and his words even if he was trying not to fall for Daisy, had my heart all the time.
I loved every moment of reading it. And that ending chapters had me becoming giggling mess.
I absolutely love Daisy and Tucker and their history/story. 🥹
This book can easily be read as a standalone, but is the third book in a series that I highly recommend!! I was fortunate enough to receive the ARC of the last book too, Play For Keeps, and absolutely loved it. So i was super excited to receive and read this one as an ARC as well! The characters are all great - both main and side char. - the story is so wholesome, and the plot is pretty realistic without being annoying or too realistic lol.
Definitely read this book if you want a feel good, precious frienamies-to-lovers plot and great characters that leave you wanting more.
🌶️ It is a somewhat spicy book, so keep that in mind if that’s important to you!
This is my first book by Lily Miller and I need to go back and read the rest because holy cow this was amazing!
I knew within the first few chapters that this would be a 5 star read for me.
Never say never is a small town, childhood friends to lovers romance that followers the main characters, Daisy and Tucker. I absolutely love them because their connection was real, deep, and swoonworthy. These two are lifelong best friends, thanks to their parents being best friends. After having a moment in their teenage years, things shift. 10 years later Tucker approaches Daisy with a pact that has an expiration date when she leaves for her trip to Italy. But of course, things start to change.
I love how supportive Daisy was of Tucker’s career, even when their relationship was strained. She’s always been his number 1 fan. OH MY GOSH. TUCKER FREAKING COLLINS🤭🔥 he’s the golden retriever play boy, that you just can’t help but fall in love with. I love love love how vulnerable he was with Daisy and even though he tried to hide his feelings at first ... There was no hiding how much he loved his girl & how much he always loved her. His protective streak was *chefs kiss*.
These two are absolutely adorable and I loved reading how their story unfold. I wish I could have more of them 🫶🏻 P.s I may or may not have reread their epilogues 2 times 🤭
Thank you to Lily and Love Notes PR for sending me an eARC for this adorable story!
Also, can talk about how BEAUTIFUL that cover is 😍 I’m not normally a couple cover girlie, but I LOVE this so much, I need it physically in my hands.

"Every part of me is screaming that we are playing with fire, but still, I can’t say no."
Tucker and Daisy shared one unforgettable kiss when they were 16 yet everything ended before it really began. Tucker, Reed Point's treasured football coach, walked away without an explanation but ten years later was back in Daisy's life. They both clearly wanted each other but they wouldn't admit it, restrained desire and intense longing throughout. All of it was hidden under snarky banter and avoiding each other under a veil of miscommunication about their feelings. I really wish they had confessed how they felt way earlier. And I'm not sure I'm totally convinced they've been pining for each other for all these years.
Tucker and Daisy had such a deeply rooted connection and simply could not stay away, their thoughts completely consumed with each other. Even though I usually love an overly possessive MMC, I thought Tucker was a little too OTT possessive of Daisy, not wanting any other guy to be with her so he always kept them all away from her under the guise of looking out for her and a spicy FWB pact. Yes, I believe he truly did care about her but it seemed kind of controlling and deceptive to treat her that way not to mention selfish.
"Well… fuck. I think I fell in love today."
I loved Tucker's raw vulnerability and how he opened himself up to Daisy. I loved getting to see Jake (my book husband, iykyk) and the rest of Tucker's friends from previous installments of the series. I especially liked seeing the progression of Tucker's relationship with his dad. The family dynamics worked well into the plot but unfortunately the plot was overshadowed by the pact. I would have liked a little more character development too. It became mostly about sex and there was just something missing. I needed more. Most troubling to me though was how Daisy sacrificed too much of herself to be with Tucker especially when it came to her Italy trip.
Never Say Never is a feel good spicy romance that I would suggest for readers who enjoy the 'its always been you' trope. How would Tucker and Daisy avoid falling in love when they obviously already were so in love from the beginning? How would the pact change their friendship when it seemed to be destined for heartbreak?
Ultimately, it's a story of two people who shared a lifetime of memories and couldn't help but fall in love. It's about loving and supporting someone unconditionally, following your dreams and forgiveness for the past. Although it was a little underwhelming for me personally especially compared to the last book, I love the small town of Haven Harbor and I'm looking forward to continuing to read this series while hoping that Holden's story is next!
"For my entire life, it’s always been Tucker Collins. For a long time, I learnt how to love him from afar, but life is so much better now that I get to love him up close."

This was my perfect recipe for mutual pining + second chance with just a touch of intense dislike. If I was Daisy, I probably would have smacked or kissed Tucker a lot sooner but I love the direction that this went in.

Thank you to Lily and Love Notes PR for sharing this eARC with me. 🫶🏼
We are back in Haven Harbor, a place and its cast of characters I have grown to love. We get a great frenemies to lovers story, as Daisy and Tucker, once close friends, now just love to push each other’s buttons.
A bargain is made, Tucker and Daisy become friends with benefits, but along the way their story comes out. As they support each others goals and dreams, more than friends begins to form. We find out the love that once existed never left.
I was hooked in, and enjoyed reading this latest in the Haven Harbor series.
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
Thank you so much to LoveNotes PR and Lily Miller for allowing me to read this early. I loved everything about this book. I was swooning so much for these two. I am obsessed with them.
this is the third book in the Haven Harbor series and this follows Daisy Carter and Tucker Collins. these two have been childhood best friends since they were little. they have been frenemies since they kissed for the first time at 16 years old. their relationship changed after that kiss thus turning them into frenemies. tucker's dad is daisy's godfather. they basically grew up together as a family, but these two have always had feelings towards each other. they're like magnets, but they never admitted it to one another.
Daisy is constantly taking trips to new countries because she loves exploring new places and Tucker is the football coach for the Outlaws. She is planning her next trip to Italy for three months and she decides that she wants to have fun with someone before she leaves just to satisfy her needs. Tucker has a front seat to two men trying to date her and he knows that she does not want anything serious. he decides that it's finally time for him to tell her what he wants. tucker has always been protective of Daisy. he is like the brother she never had. he tells her that if she wants to have fun she can have fun with him and they get into a friends with benefits relationship. no one knows what is going on between them. the lines start to blur and one thing leads to another.
I loved the banter between tucker and daisy. I loved when tucker would talk about daisy and how he would describe her in detail. these two are what soulmates look like. I loved them so much and i cannot wait to start this series from the beginning and see where the next one takes us.
highlights:
Daisy and I are more like moths to a flame. We may not always get along, but we are irresistibly drawn to each other even though we know the heat could kill us.
No one has ever made me feel unsteady on my feet like Tucker. No one has made me feel this deep connection, this intense attraction. I've always felt a pill toward him, and for a while I thought he felt it too. I thought maybe he wanted more.
"No falling in love with me, Dais." "Fat chance, Collins. That will never happen." "Never say never."
"You tattooed my initials on your body." "One of the first tattoos I ever got."
"Be with me, Daisy. All in with me. I don't want you going anywhere...because I won't survive losing you again. My heart can't take it."
tropes: - frenemies to lovers - treasure football coach - a spicy sex pact - a list of rules - childhood friends - secret tattoos - small town spice - reformed playboy

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Never Say Never is like that friend who gives you a reality check with a wink—heartfelt, honest, and just a little bit cheeky. Lily Miller’s storytelling strikes a clever balance between moments that make you smile and those that quietly pull at your heartstrings. This isn’t your typical romance with fireworks and dramatic declarations; instead, it’s a thoughtful look at the messy, beautiful in-between moments that actually make love—and life—worth it.
The characters feel like people you might know (or maybe hope to avoid at a party), with all their charming flaws and awkward honesty. Miller has a knack for dialogue that feels natural and witty without ever losing sight of the deeper emotions bubbling just under the surface. It’s that subtle tension between what’s said and what’s felt that gives the story its genuine warmth.
There’s a recurring theme here about second chances and how sometimes the hardest person to forgive is yourself—an idea Miller explores with a light touch and a knowing smile. The story isn’t trying to be flashy; it’s quietly clever and evocative, like a well-timed joke that also makes you think.
In short, Never Say Never is a smart, reflective read that knows life isn’t always neat, but it’s those imperfect moments that make the best stories. If you like your romances with a side of insight and a dash of humor, this one’s a keeper.
Thank you Lily Miller and Love Notes PR for sending me an arc of this book.

𝐌𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬; •This is a well written story and I really like both Daisy and Tucker. And I love the way Daisy supports Tucker. The fact that Tucker had to push away the woman he loved was so heartbreaking and I'm so glad that they found each other again. Their connection was amazing and I really enjoyed reading this book. I really liked the ending of this book as well. • It's a really good 'feel good' romance book and the banter is on point. The spice is just the right amount, the pool scene 🥵. The writting and and the storyline is great.

Daisy and Tucker were childhood best friends until Tucker broke Daisy’s heart. Their parents are best friends, so they have had to spend many Sundays and holidays together over the years, but their friendship has never recovered. When Tucker learns that Daisy is looking for a casual relationship before she leaves town, he proposes a friends-with-benefits pact until she leaves on her trip.
This was such an adorable book! Daisy and Tucker were so cute together and I was rooting for them the whole book. This was my first book by Lily and now I cannot wait to go back and read the first two books in the series. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a spicy, small town romance.

This is book three of the Harbor Haven series and I love this series so much!! Tucker and Daisy are one of my favorite couples! It was so easy to fall in love with them. They seem so relatable and have so much banter! Tucker and Daisy have explosive chemistry and fit so well together. It did take some time for things to happen between them and we find out more of their backstory later on.
Daisy is what Tucker needed. Daisy is such a sweetheart and was so supportive. Tucker is a golden retriever and it fit him so well.I enjoyed seeing how honest Tucker was and he did and said what he wanted without any regret. I loved that Tucker talked about Daisy and he was so in love before admitting it. Tucker and Daisy are soulmates!
Never Say Never follows the story of Daisy and Tucker. The two have been best friends their whole lives with their parents raising them together they were inseparable growing up. (They also share a birthday!) After sharing a kiss at age 16 in which leaves Daisy heartbroken they grow apart. After 10 years the two of them come up with a friends with benefits pact with an expiry date as Daisy is due to leave for a solo trip to Italy. This pact in time changes everything they thought they knew about one another.
I really enjoyed Daisy and Tuckers story and it only took a few chapters for me to fall head over heels for Tuck. I loved how supportive Daisy always was of Tuckers dreams to Coach football, always having his back when certain other people didn’t. Even after distancing himself over the years Tucker continuously looked out and protected Daisy. They were so adorable and it was so special watching them finding their way back to eachother and watching their relationship develop into something so beautiful. The spice was spicing and the pool scene had me blushing! Haha Can I just say this had one of my favourite epilogues, Tuckers epilogue had me feeling so emotional and happy for them! 🥹

This was cute and fun but I felt like there was a lot of weird pacing with timeline and other characters (inconsistent things). I’m not sure. Something with this one just didn’t work. I wish we would have had more tension or something. It went from hate to love extremely fast and I felt like the “hate” wasn’t even warranted since they kept talking about what best friends they were. Still a cute read though!
It was so great to be back in Haven Harbor. Tucker and Daisy are the third couple in this series but can be read as a standalone with only minor spoilers for the first two books.
These two grew up together - their families are super close - so any kind of relationship beyond friends is off limits for them. But they both have hidden feelings for each other for ages and as that story is unveiled you cannot help but root for their HEA.
Their chemistry is explosive and comes from years and years of friendship. It’s exactly what makes friends to lovers such an emotional trope (even though these two haven’t gotten along in years, they’re still so in tune with the other).
I wanted a hot AND emotional friends with benefits story and this book came and delivered👏🏼😩 I devoured this book in a day because I couldn’t put it down!! The banter, the spice, the emotional connection, and the pacing of this book were all perfect🤌🏼✨ I’m actually obsessed and I can’t wait to read more books by this author!!
This was my first ARC (thank you LoveNotes PR) and my first book by Lily Miller—and it did not disappoint! I loved everything about this book! Tucker and Daisy are childhood best friends that drift apart & have a love-hate relationship for 10 years until they form a friends-with-benefits pact. Tucker and Daisy had amazing sexual tension and banter. This frenemies to lovers, small town romance had the perfect amount of spice! The way these two loved each other and always had each other’s back was heart warming. Tucker’s character was swoon worthy—tattooed, athletic, protective—he had me wanting more each and every chapter! Lily Miller’s writing made this a quick and easy read with characters that were relatable & easy to connect with! I highly recommend this book & can’t wait to read more by this author!
Tucker and Daisy. Boy do I love these two. Childhood best friends, practically raised as brother and sister, and both with unrequited feelings. When they make a pack for a friends with benefits situation, what could possibly go wrong?!?
There was so much tension between these two, even when Daisy convinced that Tucker couldn’t possibly be interested in her. I loved the spice. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other, which was a big struggle considering they were hiding their behavior from their parents.
I’ve loved the Reeds Point crew. I love the found family and this group of guys make great book boyfriends.
Thank you Lily and LoveNotesPR for my ARC of this book.
Thank you Lily Miller and Love Notes PR for the advanced reader copy!
Never Say Never has some of your favorite tropes: small town; childhood best friends; enemies to lovers. I loved being back in Haven Harbor and meeting Daisy and Tucker. Overall, it was a cute book and an easy read. I wish I had more of their history at the beginning of the story because it felt a bit rushed.
I also say I’ll read a Lily Miller book, and it still holds true!
Wow wow wow I loved this so much! This book hooked me from the very beginning and while I put it down for a couple of days to finish a library hold, I could not stop thinking about Daisy and Tucker. I said at the beginning that this book reminds me a lot of Elsie Silver (Powerless specifically), and while that is definitely true, I think it is important for me to say that Lily's voice is still so new, fresh, and hers that made this story such a blast to read from start to finish.
Daisy and Tucker's love for each other was so vibrant and watching them learn to trust each other after years of being apart was so beautiful. Also, I have to say that the pool scene is one of the sexiest while also being one of the most romantic scenes I have ever read! I also genuinely loved all the side characters in this book and I cannot wait for the rest of the series. And do I sense a Holden/Briar love story?! I hope so!
**Huge huge thanks to Love Notes PR and Lily Miller for an ARC in exchange for an honest review!!!**
3.5/5 stars! ARC review I enjoyed reading this book, it was an excellent escape from life into a giddy and funny relationship between two long time friends/enemies. The main thing that impacted my review was the interactions with their families and how as adults they were still not able to stick up for themselves in any way.
