The story was not exactly what I was expecting. There was much less focus on the world being without animals, and even less on the events that led up to the end of animal existence. Even though it wasn't the story I hoped for, it was still good for what it was. Interesting characters, with a format that delivers its story in pieces at a time so it takes a while to put it all together, and I found the writing style engaging.

need them to let me have a half star option PLEEEEEASEEEEE anyway 3.5/5 pretty decent kept me interested. kinda lost me toward the end though
