Baby It’s Cold Outside is a compilation of five short stories from five awesome authors. Whether you have read any of these series or not doesn’t matter. You will love this book. It is so much fun, super sweet, hilarious and just perfect. I loved them all.

Searching For You is by Jennifer Probst 5 STARS

Riley loved living in Verily. Her career is going great. She has decided, though, that it’s time in her life plan to find a husband. She has a specific list of qualifications said husband must fulfill so she turns to Kinections, an exclusive dating agency, to find the perfect match.

 photo 12117-skating-in-the-moonlight-1920x1200-artistic-wallpaper_zpsf750cd4d.jpg

Dylan McCray has a reputation for being quite the playboy. He is a billionaire and lives up on a mountain (which he owns) next to a skating rink. But contrary to his reputation, he really wants to settle down, get married, have children, and lead a quiet life. So he also signed up for Kinnections.

 photo mystery-castle-in-the-snow-lily-april_zps3316a183.jpg

Dylan and Riley are complete opposites. But are they really so different? They knew each other back in college and Riley couldn’t stand him. So when the computer matches them up, no one is more surprised than they are. What happens when Riley is stranded at Dylan’s mansion which she thinks looks like the castle from Beauty and the Beast? The banter between these two is hilarious. I LOVED it. This was my first Jennifer Probst book and I am in love. It won’t be my last I can assure you.

“It’s all in the journey and not the destination.”
“It’s you. Why didn’t I realize? It’s always been you.”

It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol by Emma Chase 5 STARS

 photo echeaderfinal_zps1b012dac.png

It’s Christmas Eve. Married life between Kate and Drew is going along fabulously. Little James is now 5 years old. But perhaps Drew has gotten his priorities a little mixed up and chooses work over family. After an argument he goes to the office and dozes off at his desk. You can figure out the rest I think.

This was a wonderful take on the old tale of A Christmas Carol. Drew is visited by the three ghosts of Christmas but his ghosts are three people that are very important to him. Will they be able to convince him of what is truly important? I have loved this series from the beginning and this was a hilarious but also sweet addition. James was so adorable with his adoration of his father. I absolutely loved this one.

Saving Grace is by Kristen Proby 5 STARS

 photo PicMonkey-Collage7_zps4b5dded7.jpg

Grace Douglas is convinced she could never learn to ski. When her girlfriends purchase her a weekend trip to a beautiful ski resort with ski lessons included, she is afraid she will end up in the emergency room for sure.

 photo tumblr_ngqyfcpVmO1sne2z4o1_1280_zps8237e1ee.jpg

Jacob Baxter is the owner of the resort and has quite the reputation for being a ladies man. He was not looking for a relationship but one look at Grace and he had to get to know her.

“I don’t want you to leave.”
“What do you want?”
“You.”

Oh my gosh, I loved this one. These two together, sigh, were just so amazing. The hotness factor was off the charts. But, just their reaction to each other! How Jacob built up Grace’s confidence as he taught her to ski! Grace is convinced she could never fit into Jacob’s life. That this is just a weekend fling. I just fell in love with Grace and Jacob.

Safe in His Arms by Melody Anne 5 STARS

Natalie Duncan has gotten her first teaching position. She is from Southern California so perhaps she didn’t dream of starting her career in Sterling, Montana. But she has to start somewhere. She has a specific plan for her life and right now it’s all about career. The oh so sexy Hawk Winchester most definitely does not fit into it.

 photo il_570xN662650863_epiz_zpsbcb3e358.jpg

Hawk is beginning to suspect his mother and her friends are up to something when he is delegated with helping the new teacher in town to get settled. But when Natalie literally falls into his arms, he knows he will have to get to know this prim and proper school teacher better.

 photo 11671418_zps2349616b.jpg

I think this one of the five stories was the sweetest. It definitely affected me emotionally the most. Natalie was so unsure of herself. Her first job, and thrown into the mix of Hawk’s family is all so overwhelming. She has no experience with all the love between them all and the way they experience the holidays. And her students. Sigh. Something about sweet children at Christmas time always ends up making my eyes water.

“There was no such thing as strangers; everyone was simply a friend they hadn’t met yet.”
“In only a weekend, this man had managed to wedge his way permanently into her brain. And, that’s where he seemed to be staying.”

Rekindle the Flame by Kate Meader 4 STARS

Darcy and Beck have a past. It’s been eight years since Beck walked away from her. Darcy is back in Chicago to help her ailing Grandmother for three months. She is from a prominent family but escaped out from under her father’s thumb and expectations and has gone from little princess to tattoo artist. She is going to help her Grandmother, then she is out of this town and away from her father’s influence.

 photo tumblr_ng9318i0Ux1se6w0do1_500_zpsf4f7444c.jpg

Beck is a firefighter but is currently on a forced leave. He can’t believe Darcy is here in his bar. But this isn’t the Darcy he remembers. Can he convince her to give him a second chance? To stay?

“You always have my attention. When you’re in the room, you’re my sun.”

This was a sweet story of second chances and of finding your own way. These two together were smoking hot but still, so sweet.

“No more hiding. No more running. No more denying. I’m yours, mi reina. Always have been, always will be.”

MY CONCLUSION
So, if you haven’t figured it out yet, I loved this book. Every one of these stories were just fantastic. I highly recommend this and hope you love it as much as I did!

Loved this! It’s a sweet, fun, charming, and steamy story with an amusing, klutzy heroine and a swoonalicious ski instructor (with a twist) hero melting the slopes and heating up the lodge together! 5 stars!

DNF 80%. I made it through 4/5 stories but the last one sounded dumb. I thought these would be cute little chick-lit holiday stories but they just weren't that good.

Story #1: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ second chance romance
Story #2: ⭐️ DNF. Chriatmas Carol retelling but super angsty
Story #3: SKIPPED. Novella from a series I didn't read.
Story #4: ⭐️⭐️ matchmaker story
Story #5: Gave up on short story collection

My TBR pile is too large to be wasting time reading junk that doesn't even serve my purpose of a pallate cleanser.

It was fufulling No. 24 of #my2018strangepanzanellareadingchallenge BOOK WITH MULTIPLE AUTHORS.

Safe in his Arms by Melody Anne.

3.5 - "They all fall... sometime." Stars.

Melody Anne is an author new to me, so this little novella was the perfect way to introduce myself, to what was a really enjoyable and engaging writing style. Safe in his Arms is the first book in the Unexpected Heroes series, and Melody gives the reader a great introduction to the town and people of Sterling, Montana.

Hawk and Natalie, were a likeable couple, and their story was easy to immerse myself in, along with the introduction to some pretty entertaining secondary characters. The main plus for me, is as this is the beginning of a series, and I enjoyed this book immensely, I know I have plenty of books and characters, with their own stories to look forward to reading in future months and (hopefully) years to come.

”All the best things in life happen because of bad ideas.”

This novella wasn’t a bad idea, this series looks like it will be a really, really good idea! and I cannot wait to see what Melody has in store for the Unexpected Heroes series, with the next release Her Unexpected Hero, due 24the February 2015.

Saving Grace by Kristen Proby

4 - "If you can't bang a billionaire, bang a hot ski instructor." Stars!

Or in Grace's case both!

Loved this novella, love this author, adore the series.

"You're far too tempting, Jacob Baxter."

And British to boot, what more could a girl ask for!

Searching For You by Jennifer Probst
❄❅❆ 5 “Kinnect” Stars ❄❅❆

#BabyItsCold
As a big Jennifer Probst fan, I was so excited to read this short story especially since I loved the Searching Series. Ms. Probst “kinnected” all the right dots in this hot steamy romantic story. Riley Fox is in search of Mr. Right. As a strong willed independent woman, she wanted to meet the “one” so she signed herself up at Kinnections, a match-making company. Dylan Mcray, a successful playboy billionaire is also a client at Kinnections looking for the one to settle down with. Call it fate or luck, Riley and Dylan were miraculously “kinnected.” As it turns out, Riley and Dylan knew each other from college and had instant chemistry then and now. Can this playboy billionaire show Riley that he is a changed man and fits all the criteria of her box of husband material?

Searching For You was a perfect 5 star read. The story flowed so well and you didn’t feel it was rushed. I love every aspect of this book from the humor, banter, romance, and of course those hot steamy scenes. If you haven’t read the Searching Series, I highly recommend you do.

It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol by Emma Chase
❄❅❆ 5 Tangled Christmas Stars ❄❅❆

#BabyItsColdOutside_1
Calling all Tangled fans….Emma Chase did it again. She brought back our favorite beloved couple Kate and Drew. Sigh...I can never get tired reading about this two. In this short novella, It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol, Drew is back and he is naughtier than ever. Fast forward to five years later, Kate and Drew begins their story with one naughty and hot scene. Well after they both were satisfied with their “presents”, things takes a downhill turn when Drew decides it’s more important to work on this big project on Christmas Eve instead of spending dinner with Kate, James and Drew’s family. Drew’s priority is all screwed up when he decided work before family. Of course, Kate was upset and disappointed. We all know the classic movie, “A Christmas Carol,” well for Drew he became the leading character as he is taken to reflect on his past, present, and future. So will Drew be able to redeem himself in the eyes of Kate, James and his family? Will Drew be on the naughty or nice list?

I absolutely love Emma Chase and will read anything that she writes. And she did not disappoint her Tangled fans. It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol was a fun, sweet and touching read. It reminds us all what Christmas is all about. It’s about love, family and be thankful. And of course, I am thankful that Emma Chase gave her fans a Tangled Christmas!!

Saving Grace: A Love Under the Big Sky Novella by Kristen Proby
❄❅❆ 4 Saving Grace Stars ❄❅❆

#BabyColdOutside_2
Can a self-diagnosed clumsy girl fall into the arms of a successful billionaire business owner? Well in Saving Grace by Kristen Proby, this was one sweet and sexy read. In this novella, Grace’s girlfriends decides its time for Grace to learn how to ski and what better way than a weekend ski lesson on a mountain resort. Upon her arrival, Grace mistaken Jacob “Bax” Baxter as her ski instructor but it turns out he is the owner of the resort. Charmed by Grace’s funny and cute personality, this hot British owner didn’t correct Grace and decided that he wanted to be her personal ski instructor. In over the course of several hours, Jacob was immediately drawn to her and he wanted to know more of this beauty who stumbled into his resort. In two short days, Jacob and Grace begins to fall for each other. Will Grace and Jacob fall into each other’s arms? Or is this just one hot weekend fling?

Kristen Proby is definitely one of my favorite authors. I have not read Love Under the Big Sky series but after reading Saving Grace I will definitely be checking out this series. So if you are looking for a novella with lots of sweetness, charm, good times and a hot British billionaire then Saving Grace is a must read.

#BabyOutside
This being my first time reading a Melody Anne, I can happily say that I enjoyed this short story. California city girl meets Montana’s golden boy. School teacher Natalie Duncan did not know what to expect when she accepted a teaching position in a small town in Montana. She also didn’t expect grandmothers, mothers, and townsfolk trying to match her up with the hot eligible bachelor, Hawk Winchester. Unexpected turn of events, caused Natalie to join Hawk and his family on Thanksgiving. As the two begins to get together, things begins to heat up between them. Sparks of chemistry unites these two strangers. In the span of a month, Natalie and Hawk found a love and connection that could not be explained. So in this small town of Montana, maybe these townsfolk really knows what they are doing when it comes to matchmaking….

Rekindling the Flame by Kate Meader was a swoon worthy Holiday read. Loved it. It was cute, sweet, touching, and romantic. What’s not to love when two first loves are reunited and they try to rekindle their romance. When Beck and Darcy are reunited, the passion and lust are still looming in the air after several years apart. Time didn’t erase the memories these two had for each other. Beck Rivera makes its his mission to remind Darcy that he indeed worthy of her and that she is the only woman who owns him body, heart, and soul. After reading Rekindling the Flame, I will definitely be looking for more of Kate Meader’s books.

As sad as it is to admit, I have yet to read a winter or holiday-themed book this Christmas. Well, better late than never...after all, New Year's isn't here yet!

Baby, It's Cold Outside is an anthology of short-stories that fall in the genre of adult contemporary romance. The short-stories are listed in order below, along with their authors, individual ratings (based on my personal enjoyment), and a brief review. An average of the ratings below equals 3.6 stars, which I rounded up to 4 on goodreads.

1. Searching for You by Jennifer Probst
Audio narrated by Madeleine Maby
★★☆☆☆
Unfortunately, I kept zoning out during this one. I just couldn't stay engaged no matter how much I tried. Two people who used to know each other from their younger years get matched on a dating website. Romance spikes when they just so happen to get stranded together during a snowstorm at his mansion/castle...he's a billionaire btw.

2. It's a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol by Emma Chase
Audio narrated by Sebastian York
★★★★★
Now this one felt just perfect for the holidays. Any story from the Tangled series is a good one in my opinion, and I loved this take on A Christmas Carol and It's a Wonderful Life. It's easy to get distracted from what's truly important by our endless to-do lists, but sometimes, if we're lucky, perspective smacks us in the face and reminds us that all that really matters is the people we love and care about. Sigh...

3. Saving Grace by Kristen Proby
Audio narrated by Elizabeth Louise
★★★½☆
The insta-lust/love had me on the verge of an eyeroll but I couldn't help but think the female lead was completely adorable. I love enthusiastically klutzy heroines ♥. She made the read worth it...the hero grew on me too especially given the mistaken identity. That was a fun addition.

4. Safe in His Arms by Melody Anne
Audio narrated by Madeleine Maby and Sebastian York
★★★☆☆
Insta-love to the extreme! However, I did like the theme of family...and not just marriage but the family members you surround yourself with. Nice for the holidays.

5. Bringing the Heat (Rekindle the Flame) by Kate Meader
Audio narrated by Elizabeth Louise
★★★★½
I really liked this one...a lot! A VERY close second favorite. Yes, it's about firemen but not only in the sexy, hot calendar way. Mostly about mending the hurts from your past, finding yourself, and growing stronger. Loved the heroine in this one...and yes, the hero too. Loved it!

Baby, It's Cold Outside, except if you live in Florida, like me! Then you'd take this book down to the beach and read all day!
Baby It’s Cold Outside is a sexy, romantic, and funny anthology of contemporary romance short stories for the winter holidays. With authors Jennifer Probst, Emma Chase, Kristen Proby, Kate Meader, and Melody Anne, this is a prize collection of holiday romance reads. Kate Meader’s Feel The Heat is one of my favorite books, so I read her story, Rekindle the Flame, first and I loved it! I can’t tell you how much I love books about Firefighters, and based on how much I enjoyed Darcy and Becks story, I am even more excited to read Meader’s upcoming novel Flirting with Fire (Hot in Chicago #1).
I have been anxious to read anything Tangled, by Emma Chase, and It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol did not disappoint. Chase has a clever voice that I enjoyed very much. Next, I read Safe in His Arms, by Melody Anne, Searching for You, by Jennifer Probst, and Saving Grace, by Kristen Proby. I’ll just say my iPad was hot—getting hotter! So, I recommend this cool anthology to anyone that is looking for contemporary romance that is light hearted, sexy and fun to celebrate the holidays.

Rating~3.75 stars Averaged

All the authors are new to me apart from Emma Chase, so it was fun reading new authors and gauging their writing styles.

Searching for you by Jennifer Probst:

Rating~4.25 stars.

This was my favorite novella in the anthology. This book is part of the Searching For Series. The protagonist are both clients for a matchmaking agency and are set up on a blind date. The thing is both of them have known and hated each other for the last 10 years.Ryan Dylan McCray and Riley Fox met in college where Dylan was the star who would party hard and still get the top grades while Riley worked hard all the time and was annoyed/hated that Dylan got the grades so effortlessly. Now they meet on a blind date which results in them being stranded in middle of a snowstorm.

I really loved that both the characters were strong and independent and knew what they wanted from life and their future. Their banter was lovely & witty and their chemistry was very evident from the start. There’s something about enemies to lovers trope with all the hidden feelings hidden beneath the barbs and hatred that I can’t help but love.

Saving Grace by Kristen Proby:

Rating~ 3.5 stars.

This book is part of the Love under the big Sky series. Grace Douglas is a very clumsy women whose friends decide that she needs ski lessons so she could ski with them on their vacation. Grace mistakes the resort owner Jacob Baxter as her ski instructor. Not wanting Grace to change her behavior towards him because of him being the owner, he decides not to tell her.

I enjoyed this one, it was sweet and romantic however the book should have been slightly longer so that both the characters and reader had gotten to know them more, especially about Jacob who we did not get to know much about.

Safe in his arms by Melody Anne:

Rating~2.5-3 stars.

This was about a small town romance about two people who are completely opposites of each other; Hawke Winchester local fire cheif and a new to town primary school teacher Natalie Duncan. They get matchmaked by the towns busybodies who clearly know how to matchmake because Hawke and Natalie are good together.

This was the longest book in the anthology hence the reason I felt it dragged or like nothing important was happening at times.

Rekindle the flame by Kate Meader:

Rating~ 2.5-3 stars.

Last book in the anthology is a reunion story of a couple who were in love as teenagers until they break up. Dracy Cochrane is the heiress-turned-tattoo-artist and Beck Rivera is the local fireman who also works in a bar. I know not sure how that works entirely but I’m not judging. When they were young, Brett broke off the relationship because he was the one with the bad reputation and did not want Darcy to resent him later on in their life for settling down with him.

I found Beck’s apology or grovelling for breaking up young Dracy’s heart annoying. Some parts of this novella worked while others did not hence overall it was an ok read.

Please note: I did not include or rate Emma Chase’s novella because I only read the first book in the tangled series, the novella is about the couple from it and hence I did not want to spoil the series when I did read the sequels. Happy Reading!

Review by Trinette Dungee

What’s better than a novella from your favorite author? One book with novellas from not one, not two but three of your favorite authors and an introduction to two authors you’ve never met before. That’s just what Baby, It’s Cold Outside was for me. These five ladies have given us five short stories are just what you need to keep you warm on a cold winter’s day. There’s humor, love, passion and of course enough hot sex the melt the icicles right off of your windows.

Searching for You – by Jennifer Probst (Five Stars)
Jennifer Probst brings us more from her Searching series. Riley Fox is a successful executive feeling her biological clock kick into gear. Dylan McCray is a billionaire playboy with reputation for changing women like he changes shirts. Both Riley and Dylan sign up with the exclusive matchmaking agency, “Kinnections”. Riley is in search for her perfect man. She’s sure she’ll never find someone to ignite the fire in her the way one man years ago did but she can find a man that fits into “box”. Dylan would gladly leave his current lifestyle behind if he could find a woman close to the one from college that has never left his mind.
In college Dylan and Riley were like oil and water….they did not mix at all. They fought, the bickered, they disagreed and they had a passion for each other the burned deep. When the two are snowed in together during a snowstorm they realize that they have been paired together by the Kinnections system. Riley is sure this is a mistake because Dylan is the last person she would ever be with; there is no way he would fit into the life she has planned for herself. Dylan sees this as a second chance and he has one night to prove to Riley that they belong together.
While Riley has worked very hard to get where she is her, life is still lacking. You learn her hard work is not just because she wants to be successful; it was also a way to proving herself to her father and making herself feel worthy. Dylan sees this side of Riley and is determined to make her see she’s worthy of so much more. While she fights her attraction to Dylan she can’t deny the sexual tension between them. Dylan may come from wealthy family but he has always had to work hard for everything. Nothing was handed to him on a silver platter. Riley soon realizes the Dylan the world sees is far from the real Dylan and the more she comes to know the real Dylan, the more she realizes that not only does he fit in her box…hit fits perfectly and he’s what she’s been searching for all along.
I am a Jennifer Probst fan but I haven’t read the Searching series but after this story you can bet I will be one-clicking first chance I get.

It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol – Emma Chase (Five Stars)
From the popular Tangles serious Emma Chase is back for a holiday and she’s not alone. She’s brought along Drew and Kate. And of course Drew is in rare form. Fast forward five years and Drew and Kate are preparing to celebrate Christmas but Drew’s determination to close a major deal on Christmas Eve has his priorities out of order. In a Charles Dickens sort of way Drew is shown the error of his ways and realizes his wife and son are more important than any business deal.
Emma Chase does not disappoint in this novella; we still get the smart mouth, wise cracking Drew as well as the sassy, snarky Kate. They both make you laugh and as usual Drew makes you a little bit angry. In the end and in true Drew fashion, he redeems himself. We are also introduced to their five year old son James, or as Drew so affectionately calls him, “The Evil Elf”. We’ve seen the softer sides of Drew and Kate but seeing Drew and Kate “the mom and dad” and Drew “the husband and wife” give us a whole new side of the couple.

Saving Grace – By Kristen Proby (Five stars)
Grace Douglas and Jacob Baxter use the ski slopes as the backdrop for their love affair. A case of mistaken identity pairs this self-diagnosed clumsy girl with a hot ski instructor.
In preparation for an all-girls ski trip Grace’s friends treat her to a ski lesson at a local ski resort. Grace thinks this is pointless and she’ll never learn to ski. When she spots the hunky instructor she figures the falls, sprains and/or broken bones she’s sure to receive just might be worth it.
Jacob “Bax” Baxter is mistaken by Grace as her ski instructor. Bax is more than just a ski instructor, he’s a billionaire who just happens to own said ski resort. Amused by Grace’s approach to him and her quirkiness he plays along. Grace soon learns of her mistake and while she is initially upset with what she considers his deception she eventually gives in to spending the remainder of the day and night with Bax.
Bax and Grace spend the best night of their lives together and each soon learns that one night simply isn’t enough.
Like Jennifer Probst and Emma Chase I am a fan of Kristen Proby and once again I was not disappointed. I loved Grace’s quirkiness and adored the way Bax was fascinated with her. At the end I wanted more Grace and Bax…I hope there’s another story with them in the near future.

This is my first Melody Anne book. Safe in His Arms is a spin-off to Anne’s Anderson Series which I’ve never read but it has been added to my to-be-read list. Who doesn’t love meddling parents, grandparents or friends playing match maker. This was a cute read that makes me eager to connect with other residents of Sterling in future books.

The last thing he expects is a blast from his past, Darcy Cochrane.
Years ago Beck broke Darcy’s heart. She’d given him something sacred and he’d pretty much sent her on her way. Following her father’s wishes Darcy enrolled in college and prepared to follow in established footsteps of her high society family until she realized that life was the last thing she wanted. Coming across Beck one night proves to be more than she thought it would. Old feelings aren’t as deeply buried as she thought.
One hot steamy sex session in the back of the bar with Darcy has Beck tied up in knots; especially when she takes off. Beck manages to track her down with the determination to prove to Darcy that his rejection years ago had nothing to do with her and to prove that he is worthy of her and determined to make her his.
This was my introduction to Kate Meader and I’m anxious to experience the upcoming Hot in Chicago Series.

It's a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol by Emma Chase
5 Stars

Emma Chase does it again with yet another fantastically funny tale in the Tangled Series starring one of my favorite characters – Drew Evans.

I will never get enough of Drew’s sarcasm, quick wit and devilishly sexy ways. I love being inside his head and seeing the world from his point of view. This time, poor Drew is having a nightmarish Christmas Eve. From being stuck on line last minute Christmas shopping for Kate’s gift, to focusing on business rather than family during the holiday, Drew has lost sight of what truly is important in life. As usual, trouble surrounds him at every turn. But tonight’s Christmas Eve, and Drew has help getting his act together as he is led on an amusing journey reminiscent of the stories “Scrooged” and “It’s a Wonderful life”.

The story fast-forwards five years into their marriage and son James is older and more adorable. Drew is as cynical and sexy as ever. What I love most about Drew is how he manages to overcome great obstacles to right his wrongs. Yes, he messes up BIG TIME, almost ruining Christmas for his family. But when paid visits by three ‘ghosts’, Drew manages to get his shit together, learns his lesson and saves the holiday.

“My arms wrap around her, holding her against me, her head resting against my chest. And in the light of the Christmas tree, we sway in time to the music. Was it all just a dream? Honestly? I don’t fucking know. But I’m grateful it happened. Because even someone as brilliant as me needs a refresher once in a while about what’s really important. The moments that matter. And the people we can’t and don’t want to imagine living without. As I dance with the love of my life on Christmas Eve, I swear I hear the soft ring of a bell. And if you believe what that legend says, then somewhere, an angel has gotten her wings.”

Through Emma Chase’s talents, these age-old stories were twisted, refreshed and retold in a way that was funny as well as heart-warming. I love her brilliant writing style that combines romance, comedy and love. “It's a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol” is a great little novella, perfect for the holiday season.

Saving Grace by Kristen Proby
4 Stars

Saving Grace is part of the Love Under The Big Sky Series, which I must confess, I have not read yet. However, I fully enjoyed Grace and Bax’s fun little romance all the same.

Grace is anything but graceful. Living in Montana, she never learned how to ski and her crazy cast of girlfriends set about righting that wrong. So off to the mountains, to a cozy yet fancy ski lodge and a sexy instructor to show Grace the ropes. What Grace finds is a hunk of a man who is much more than what he appears to be, with a British accent to boot, and holds more than the promise of a ski lesson. In Bax, Grace finds more than what she bargained for…love and romance.

Saving Grace was a fasted paced but cute ‘love at first sight’ romance. Their story has me know wanting to dive into this series.

I've listen to both of the male narrators before so I knew which one was narrating but I had to research the female narrators to figure out who was who.

SEARCHING FOR YOU by Jennifer Probst
Narrated by Madeleine Maby
4 stars

This is my first time listening to Madeleine Maby and "reading" Jennifer Probst. I enjoyed both of the ladies' work.
Sexy romance where the couple meets again after 10 years really worked for me. I love romances were the couple gets a second chance at love. And boy do these two have some heat between them.

SEARCHING FOR YOU is part of Probst's Searching For series. Since I enjoyed this novella I may check out the other books in this series.

IT’S A WONDERFUL TANGLED CHRISTMAS CAROL by Emma Chase
Narrated by Sebastian York
5 stars

This was the story is the reason I wanted to listen to the anthology and it was easily my favorite of all the stories.
York’s narration is fantastic as always. Love getting a twist on the holiday story from Drew’s POV. Fans of Chase's Tangled series will LOVE seeing how Drew gets into trouble on Christmas Eve!

SAVING GRACE by Kristen Proby
Dual narration (Deacon Lee and Rebekkah Ross) for Grace and Jacob’s POVs.
3 stars

This is my first time "reading" Proby and my first time listening to Ross' narration. Both were pleasant enough. I'd give them both another try. Deacon Lee does a great job with Jacob's POV and his british accent. He sounded like two different people when he did other character's without the accent. Ross also did well with making the characters sound different. She has a very young, naive sounding voice for Grace and then pulls off Jacob's voice.

Like many novellas the romance moves really fast and that's one of the weak points in SAVING GRACE. I think Grace and Jacob's story would have been great for a full length novel, giving them time to fall in love in a believable time. But if you over look the instant-a-love then Grace and Jacob's HEA is a sweet and sexy read to get you in the move for cocoa and steamy fireplace loving.

SAFE IN HIS ARMS by Melody Anne
Dual narration: (Deacon Lee and Rebekkah Ross)
DNF

I would say that the narration came off as wooden but it wasn’t the narrator since I listen to them narrate SAVING GRAVE. So it was the writing that fell flat for me. After listening for an hour I skipped to the next story.

REKINDLE THE FLAME by Kate Meader
Dual narration: (S York and Madeleine Maby)
2.5 stars

I only finished this story because of the narrators. Both York and Maby delivered a great performance. The story itself was a little lacking. I think the only thing that saved it from being an instant-a-love story was that the couple knew each other from their past and came together for a second chance love story. I generally love this trope but I just didn't fall in love with the couple and wasn't every invested in wither they got a HEA or not.

Baby, it may be cold outside, but it is warm between that pages of this phenomenal holiday read! Great romances that will get you in the mood for long winter nights tangled in tinsel!

Where to begin…? Whelp, why not from the top of a ice skating rink? Jennifer Probst creates a magical tale of second chance love with a blind date that turns out to be not so blind. Stranded in a storm and reliving the past has never been so much fun.

Emma Chase gives us what every girl wants for Christmas: MORE DREW! Laughter is what Emma Chase does best, and with a tale of past, present, and future; heart strings are pulled and Drew learns a valuable lesson.

Every girl needs a ski instructor like Jacob Baxter. Kristen Proby sends us off on a wicked weekend in the snow. Cute, fun, and sexy!

Melody Anne gives us a taste of hot for teacher! Fish-out-of-water Natalie finds out that the best way to stay warm in Montana is with Hawk Winchester. Teaching her how to live in this new climate will be the ultimate lesson.

What better way to heat things up than with a hot firefighter? A lost love is found, and Kate Meader gives us heart and holiday love!

These are all great, short, sexy, little reads perfect for the busy holiday season.

So far, I've just read Kate Meader's contribution to this anthology; Rekindle the Flame and I really enjoyed it! It's also the prequel to her Hot in Chicago series which is about the "Firefightin’ Dempseys, a family of foster siblings who work hard and play harder. Wyatt, Luke, Beck, Alexandra, and Gage have followed in the footsteps of their late foster father, legendary firefighter Sean Dempsey, and live by the lessons he taught them: fire is stronger than blood and defend the people you love to the last ember." Sounds pretty awesome if you ask me, and I can't wait to read Flirting with Fire which is the first book in the series!!

Extra material, scenes from different points of view, short stories are catnip when you’re a fan of a certain author or series and can’t get enough of the characters that have taken residency in your heart. But what’s better is having an anthology with three authors I know and two that I want to meet.
Baby It’s Cold Outside is a sexy and romantic collection of short contemporary stories that will keep you warm during the holiday season.

I went straight to Emma Chase’s It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol because I had very recently finished reading Tied. Kate and Drew’s smexy fun romance is put to the test once more when five years from now Drew takes a tumble when his priorities get a bit tangled during the Christmas festivities.
“Christmas spirit and me? We’re not friends. Ebenezer Scrooge had the right idea: bah fucking humbug.”

And in a very cute, funny and charming Charles Dickens fashion, Drew is led by three very interesting ghosts to past, present and future and reminded that family comes first.
“I’m such a dick. How can I be such a giant asshole and not know it?” Christmas Alexandra takes pity on me. She pats my shoulder. “You’re not really that bad. You’re just a little self-absorbed sometimes.

Emma Chase did an excellent job with Drew’s ever present wit and Kate’s charm. Even when he’s been a jerk, Drew knows when to admit he’s wrong and doesn’t rest until he atones for his misdeeds. I love how he’s matured and not only sees Kate through blazing hot lust eyes, but he also sees the softer side of her and revels in it.
“Passionate, hot and horny, sweet and tender, silly and smart-assy . . . nurturing, loving . . . motherly.”

Part of this new outlook has also to do with his adorable son James “the Evil Elf,” who’s given this great character another aspect to love: his father persona.

In Searching for You, Jennifer Probst continues with her Searching For series.

Successful business man Dylan McCray will not settle for someone who looks good on paper. He’ll gladly leave his womanizing ways if he could just find the one.

Riley Fox, also a successful executive, has been feeling the pressure of her biological clock has drawn a very in depth and specific set of qualities for the man she knows will fit perfectly in her “box.”
“A man who was serious, hardworking, family oriented. Perhaps a bit conservative, with an ability to be calm and even tempered.”

Trusting in the good “Kinnections” reputation for finding a match, they both sign up with and agree to a blind date. Unknowing of who they are and that it’s not the first time they’ve met, they’re thrown together in a serendipitous way, at least that’s how Dylan sees this second chance at “the woman he hadn’t been able to get off his mind or his dick for the past decade.”
Snowed in together in Dylan’s house, Riley is sure the Kinnections team made a mistake setting her up with the man that all through college pushed her buttons and he could never fit in her “box.”
“You know a lot of fighting is well documented to be an indicator of repressed sexual attraction.”

But while getting to know her better, finding out what drives her, and feeling their scorching attraction flare as if time and distance were an afterthought, remembering how her sassy, smart attitude challenges him, Dylan is convinced she’s the one he’s been searching for and he has one night to convince of the same.
“His blood sung and roared in victory. He was the only one able to tame Riley Fox. Now he had to prove it to her… the woman who had exploded back into his life.”

While fighting their sexual tension, Riley realizes that Dylan’s playfulness is only an outside façade. He’s a hardworking man who can fulfill her in all the best ways.
“Every verbal battle emphasized a strange connection between them. The sparks when they fought literally whizzed in the air.”

I’ve read all of the Marriage to a Billionaire books as well as the Searching For by Probst and I can safely say I love her delightful stories and easy to love characters.

As for the other three shorts in this anthology Feel the Heat by Kate Meader, Safe in His Arms by Melody Anne, Saving Grace by Kristen Proby. I’ll be reading them very soon, but not before reading their full length brethren who’ve been patiently waiting on my book shelf.

The fun, wit, love and passion the two short stories I read was enough to leave scorch marks on my eReader. I can’t wait to read the rest and have them warm me up during the winter.

I loved this anthology and decided that the best way to review it is to write few words for each of the stories. So here it is:

Searching for you

I love Jennifer Probst and her books. She always writes these sweet romantic stories with a little spice, just enough to melt your panties. Searching for … series is one of my favorites and Searching for You definitely didn’t disappoint. Riley and Dylan are so much fun. Their constant bickering is just making everything hotter. And when they finally fall in bed together … they just burn the sheets ;) I loved the whole idea of them being meant to be together but never realizing it until that moment when faith (in the form of cleverly written matching program) throws them together after ten years of separation. I can guarantee that you will enjoy this short romantic story. The perfect fit for a cold winter night.

It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Story

I love Drew and Kate. Drew cracks me up every single time without fail and this short story wasn’t an exception. It was really interesting to visit the characters few year later and to see how they settled into married life. The reference to Christmas Carol was a really good idea and I loved the reminder that family and loved once should always come first. This short story is definitely recommended to all Tangled lovers. You won’t be disappointed.

Saving Grace

I floved the main characters in this story. It was fun to see a heroine who is somewhat of a klutz and not perfect at all. And Jacob… yummy – British billionaire playboy who falls the moment he sees Grace. And with that we have the perfect ingredients for a great romantic story. And of course I wasn’t disappointed. There were some quite hilarious moment that made me laugh quite hard and there were some quite hot scenes that definitely left me breathless. So I would just say that this was another perfect addition to the anthology.

Safe In His Arms

The Anderson Series is one of my favorite series and I will read pretty much everything Melody Anne writes. Well, Hawk and Natalie didn’t disappoint. It was definitely interesting to see how to completely different personalities fall in love against all odds. It was for sure fun to read about Hawk’s fall from the playboy bachelor lines and it was really great to see short glimpses of the lives of some of my favorite characters from other Melody Anne books. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this short story and can’t wait to read the rest of the stories in this series.

Rekindle The Flame

This is the first book I read by Kate Meader but definitely it’s not going to be the last one. This is a short heartfelt story about love lost and found, about what it takes to be who you are, no matter of other people’s opinion. I loved Beck and Darcy and the whole fated to be together vibe of the story. It was great to see their reunion after year being apart and finding their way back to each other. The feeling of strong family values was a great touch and I would love to read more about the Dempsey brothers and the people who are going to fulfill their lives. This is definitely a good story to relax during a cold winter night.

As a whole this is a great anthology by some of the best author out there. You won't be disappointed if you decide to dive into it during the cold winter nights.

Baby, It's Cold Outside is an anthology of five holiday/winter-themed short stories and was a fun read for this time of year. I saw it on a holiday display at the library and picked it up on impulse. Good choice!

Searching For You by Jennifer Probst
4 stars

I didn't start off liking Riley a lot and had a hard time connecting with her. She was so closed off and completely set on achieving exactly what she thought she needed and should want. It left her oblivious to anything good that might not happen to fit into her perfect fantasy future. But as I learned more of her back story and as the story continued I did warm to her. Dylan was cocky and charming and knew exactly how to handle Riley. I enjoyed the circumstances of their meeting (blind date + winter storm) and these two were the perfect foils for one another.

It's a Wonder Tangled Christmas Carol by Emma Chase
4 stars

Oh what fun this one was. Having never read anything by Emma Chase before I was immediately hooked on her way with dialogue and humor. I really enjoyed that the story was told from the male POV. Drew was equal parts arrogant egoist and romantic softie and I had several laugh out loud moments with him. Watching as he reexamined his priorities and made the right choice was completely enjoyable.

Saving Grace by Kristen Proby
5 stars

Saving Grace was my favorite out of all five stories. I simply adored both Grace and Jacob. What wonderful characters! Both were kind and funny and interesting and realistic. Grace wasn't plagued with insecurities (that gets so tiresome) and Jacob was charming without being cocky or overbearing. I loved the mistaken identity trope and loved that it wasn't carried on too far even more. Grace's flirty teasing of Jacob with her silly accents was so funny and endearing. I just loved these two and their story. Note to self: Read more by Kristen Proby!

Safe in His Arms by Melody Anne
3 stars

This was my least favorite of the five. I found the opening premise eye-rollingly ludicrous. Three old ladies hire the new elementary school teacher based on her photo for the sole purpose of matchmaking her with the town catch. Oh, puh-leeze. Plus, I never connected with Natalie. The whole "I'm not worthy of friends/family/love/whatever" grew tiresome fast and I started to wonder why Hawk was even pursuing her. I just didn't understand the draw/connection between these two.

Rekindle the Flame by Kate Meader
4 stars

This was a swoon worthy, steamy read and I was definitely pulling for Darcy and Beck. Teenage lovers who never got over the love they shared. Beck thought he was doing the right thing when he broke things off with Darcy 7 years ago but Darcy was shattered and Beck has never forgotten her. When their paths cross again Darcy is determined to play it cool and maybe even engage in a little payback. Watching as they reconnected was fun and Beck's willingness to lay it all on the line while Darcy struggled to keep her walls up was endearing.

Must-click anthology!
Baby, It's Cold Outside http://amzn.to/1hoLdts

I thoroughly enjoyed both of the short stories I read in this anthology; one was a story with characters I already adored and one was about new characters found in a series I already loved! Both were really well done.

A Tangled Christmas Carol by Emma Chase

I loved visiting with Drew and Kate during the Holiday season; just let me say that if you have NOT read Tangled by Emma Chase go 1-click now.

From the moment I opened this book, I was reminded why I loved Drew Evans' voice! Him in the middle of NYC Christmas shopping was classic!

Drew has always been an ambitious man; and I love how realistic Drew still felt. Yes, he loves his family, his wife, his son, his life but when a big deal calls, does it matter that it is Christmas Eve?

I think so many men need a reminder that life isn’t about what you have but who you spend your time with.

The use of the Christmas Carol theme truly drove this theme home and although I loved each ghost and the visions they show Drew, the vision of James for me was so powerful.

Thank you Ms. Chase for a wonderful visit with a cast that lives in my heart!

Saving Grace by Kristen Proby

Saving Grace takes place inside of Ms. Proby’s Love in the Big Sky series. This book can easily be read as a stand alone and is a great introduction to the cast of the Love in the Big Sky Series and to Ms. Proby’s writing if you have not read her before. From the moment I opened this story, I was reminded why I love this author’s writing. This is the story of Grace Douglas and Jacob Baxter (Jacob is a new character to read and Grace you see briefly in another book so this can be read as a stand alone).

Jacob or “Bax” to his friends and employees is a billionaire though when Grace meets him, she has no idea.

Their chance meeting was adorable and the time they spend together hot while also very emotional. The banter between these two was so well done and the connection was something the reader could feel. The epilogue left me grinning from ear to ear.

For a short story, this one was well developed and had me even more sure I will be reading Falling for Jillian book 3 in the Love in the Big Sky Series.

**I only read "It's a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol" by Emma Chase, so my 3 Stars is only for that, not the entire stories**

"It's a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol" is a sweet Christmas story. The kind of story you will watch with your family on Christmas.

It's in Drew POV.

Drew has to work in Christmas Eve. Kate feels so disappointed and so does James. Then Drew got this strange magical experience where there are 3 "angels" come to his office and show him his past, present (happens in the same time where he is at the moment but in different place), and his future. Because earlier Drew insisted that he needs to do a meeting with a very important client of him and decided to not to go to family dinner in his Alexandra's, so these "angels" show him the memory of Christmas when he was a 5 year old kid; then to the present that is happening in Alexandra's - which shows that his 5 year old son, James looks sad because he wasn't there; and the last is to the future of him and Kate if they never met each other.
These 3 scenes that shown by the "angels" make him regret of his decision earlier.
And then I think you know what will happen next. LOL

It's a very quick reading because it only has 6 chapters.
A lil bit heartwarming. But it has a sexy part too. You'll see a father-like Drew here. But don't worry, we still can see the asshole part of him as well. LOL

Maybe someday I'm going to read the other part of this anthology too, if I feel like to. but not now, for sure. LOL

Очень задорный сборник небольших, новогодних рассказов. В нескольких словах это Рождество для взрослых, прекрасная подборка романтических истории для тех, кто любит истории с +18
В сборник вошли пять рассказов:

Jennifer Probst «Searching for You» (Оценка 5 из 5)

Emma Chase «It's a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol» (Оценка 5 из 5)

Kristen Proby «Saving Grace» (Оценка 5 из 5)

Melody Anne «Safe in His Arms” (Оценка 4 из 5)

Kate Meader «Rekindle the Flame» (Оценка 3 из 5)

Kate Meader «Rekindle the Flame» - понравилась мне меньше всего. История классная, но среди таких легких и романтичных истории, «Rekindle the Flame» очень тяжелая, очень много втиснуто в небольшой объем и в целом история нифига не легкая и не новогодняя.

This was a fun easy-read collection of holiday love stories that will warm you up on a chilly night. I'll be honest that I bought it because I'm a huge Emma Chase fan (and wasn't disappointed) but I was really happy to get a taste of the other amazing authors in this book. It was a great way to sample different styles to make me fill my To-Read list with their other titles. This anthology was really great to read and listen to. There are a lot of snow, a few firefighters, some car crashes, old loves, new loves, handsome men and a lot of steamy sex. I really enjoyed it. Great stories from great authors.

Searching for You by Jennifer Probst

Book review: 4.5 stars

The first novella of the anthology was so good. Riley and Dylan are the perfect example for the saying “There’s a fine line between love and hate”. It’s not that they hated each other, but there was definitely huge tension between them since they met ten years ago in college. In the present, they are reunited in a very particular circumstance: The perfect match of Kinnections. I haven’t read the other books of the series Searching For, and now, after reading and listening to this great novella, I will read them all.

What I liked: The characters, the plot, the sex – HOT HOT HOT – and the end… Wow. It was perfect.

What I didn’t like: The sudden change of POV was confusing.

Audiobook review: 5 stars

The narration of Madeleine Maby was amazing. Her voice was smooth and beautiful. It reminded me of one of my favorite narrators, Grace Grant. I loved the voices she made for Dylan.

It’s a wonderful Tangle christmas carol by Emma Chase

BOOK REVIEW: 5 STARS

Having the chance to read more about Drew is the best thing in the world - or like the best christmas present I could have asked for (Thank you Emma!!!) I think I will forever worship Emma Chase for writing the best book boyfriend ever! With every book or excerpt or anything I read about Drew and Kate, I fall more and more in love with him, their relationship and everything related to them. I simply can't get enough of Drew Evans!

This is a christmas story, of course, and it has everything that I’ve come to love about Emma’s books: it’s funny, sexy, and it gives the urge to kick Drew in the balls. Yes, I wanted to kick him so hard that I had to write it in the review, but he is a wise man and he prevented a christmas disaster. I won't say much about the story because it would be a huge spoiler - you will just have to find out for yourselves.

Drew and Kate are great for each other. Little James isn’t so little now and their family is as beautiful as always. They know how to balance their family time, their parental duties and of course, their sex life. Which is, as always, super hot and sexy.

I know I asked Emma for more and now I have more, but I want more and more and more because like I said, I can't get enough of Drew Evans.

Audiobook review: 5++ stars

Like i said in my book review, this novella was like a christmas present for me, i can’t thank Emma enough for Drew Evans. And this audiobook narrated by Sebastian York is perfect. Sebastian’s voice is so Drew, it has the perfect, smooth, soft, sexy, male tone that I imagine Drew Evans has. I have a friend who I discuss every detail about Sebastian’s narrations with, and we agree in this: SEBASTIAN IS PERFECT FOR DREW. I love to listen to him when Drew is being all playful with Kate (Love the “Bells Jingle” laughter), when he’s thinking about how perfect Kate is for him, when he’s thinking about his son James, and I even love when he’s being a bastard, yes, because he’s my favorite bastard of all time (Sorry Bennett Ryan, Drew is now my bastard #1).

Saving Grace – A love under the big sky Novella by Kristen Proby

Book review: 4 stars

This was a good story. The duo POV was perfectly written, very real for a man and a woman. Getting to know what Grace and Jacob were thinking and feeling was the best. It was a little difficult for me to connect with the story at the beginning, but when Grace and Jacob met and the story went on I was totally hooked. Jacob is def my new book boyfriend. His british accent was my undoing. I love their sense of humor, they were so playful, it was easy to be around each other.

Audiobook review: 4 stars

Rebekkah Ross has a beautiful voice, it was perfect for Grace. It was so funny when she tried to make Grace’s fake british/scottish/australian accent when she was making fun of Jacob. It was the best. I also love how Rebekkah made male voices. Deacon Lee was awesome. Oh. My. God. I love when he does a british accent. I love how he speaks, his pronunciation is perfect and I could hear Jacob’s feelings throughout his voice.

Safe in His Arms by Melody Anne

Book Review: 3.5 stars

This was a good novella. I liked how they met, even though I didn’t like how Natalie and Hawk were set up to meet each other. I liked the sexual tension between them and how much they both fight with it, but the attraction couldn’t be denied and they finally gave in to it. Natalie was so stubborn and Hawk was too patient. And the sex was so hot. Way too hot. Hawk is def one sexy character.

What I liked: Hawk’s family. Hawk being a firefighter *day dreaming*. Natalie asking for forgiveness. And the ending. I loved what he said to her. So romantic.

What I didn’t like: Natalie being so bitter at so young age.

Audiobook review: 4 stars

Rebekkah Ross and Deacon Lee did a great job, especially Deacon. I love how he narrates his characters. He gets into them and shows every emotion with his voice, and he did exactly that with Hawk. My favorite parts of the audiobook were in Hawk’s POV. Rebekka did good with Natalie, and she made me like her despite her annoying personality.

Rekindle the Flame by Kate Meader

Book review: 5 stars

Ay Dios Mio, que caliente! (Oh My God, that was hot) I loved this story. The characters were amazing. Beck is my first Novio Literario Latino (Latin Book Boyfriend). He was super hot, has the most beautiful blue eyes, he speaks with very sexy spanglish and he is puertorican! I totally saw Ricky Martin with blue eyes. HaHaHa. Darcy was a great character. She’s strong, independent, and she does whatever the heck she wants. It was great reading both of their POVs. He was so sweet and she was so happy with his sweetness. She had to hide what she was feeling in her heart but she didn’t hide what she felt between her legs and Beck was willing to “take her to that place” as many times as she allowed him to. I love their background, how they reconnect and most of all, the end of this short story. Yes, that’s what I didn’t like about it, it was too short. I want more Beck, my new sexy latino book boyfriend.

Audiobook review: 5+ stars

It’s not a secret that I love Sebastian York fiercely. He is just amazing. He has the sexiest, deepest voice in the world. Listening to him saying “Querida” and “Te necesito” in spanish was seriously the best. He did amazing as Beck. I have to be honest, when the narration was starting I was thinking about Drew Evans, but when he said “Hey Amigo”, Drew left the room and Beck Rivera walked in. Madeleine did a stunning job narrating Darcy’s POV. and her spanish was great too. I was in shock when I listened to her saying “Besame el culo” (Kiss my ass). I was laughing out loud at that part, but Beck’s answer cut my laughter and made me blush! Amazing audiobook.

Searching For You – 5 Stars

I absolutely love Jennifer Probst and the Searching Series. This short story is the perfect introduction to the whole Kinnections crew for those who haven’t started the series. I highly recommend that you get on that right away!
I really enjoyed Dylan and Riley’s story for two reasons. First, it’s a second chance romance and second it all takes place while they are stranded during a snow storm. These are my favorite types of Holiday romances and I was not disappointed in any way, shape or form.

“Everything. By the time I taste your pussy, you’ll beg me to let you come against my tongue. And I’ll demand it, Riley. Every last bit of it is mine.”
It’s a Wonderful Tangled Christmas Carol – 5 Stars

I feel like at this point there is nothing more to be said about a story that involved Drew Evans. I mean, HELLO IT’S DREW EVANS, the story is going to be hilarious, sexy and sweet. In true Emma Chase fashion, she brings to life the male POV, as it pertains to the Christmas spirit this time, like no other author out there. You will swoon, you might even cry (I did, don’t judge me) and you will absolutely laugh your ass off. Is it possible for us to get a new short story for every holiday for…well forever?

“Want to sit on my lap…or my face…and tell me if you’ve been a nice girl this year?”

Saving Grace – 4 Stars

Three words. Hot British Billionaire. Do you need more incentive to read this?

“Fuck the women, Grace. I haven’t looked at another woman since the day you fell at my feet and charmed me off mine. I don’t give two shits about any other woman. It’s only you. And I’m telling you, I’m promising you, it will only ever be you.”

Safe in His Arms – 4 Stars

A small town, meddling family and neighbors, a new teacher in town and the town prince who doesn’t want to settle down. Clearly this is a recipe for a great holiday novella.

“I don’t think that’s it at all, Natalie. I think what happened between us was pretty damn spectacular, and now you’re running away scared instead of facing it like an adult.”

Rekindle the Flame – 5 Stars

This is my first Kate Meader read, but I promise after meeting Beck and his hot, firefighting foster brothers, it won’t be my last. I loved the storyline of this one (duh, second chance romance!) and the quirky one-liners/catch-phrases (sex point average, nonversation) were the best! The heat, the sweet and the funny, this story had it all! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to utilize my one-click finger on this Hot in the Kitchen series I just discovered.

‘”Find ’em hot, leave ’em wet,’ he murmured. “Well-known firefighter maxim.”‘

What a great holiday treat to readers! Baby It's Cold Outside is the perfect book to cozy up to the fireplace and get lost in 5 incredibly fun and romantic stories from 5 of today's top romance authors.
I absolutely love and adore Jennifer Prosbt, Kristen Proby and Emma Chase and was wonderfully surprised by new to me authors Melody Anne and Kate Meader.

Jennifer's story takes you on a winter wonderland ride as two old college friends get placed together on a blind date that neither of them ever expected to happen.

I was thrilled to get a Drew remix of a Christmas Story, only in the most hilarious of ways, making me fall even more in love with that foul mouthed loveable Drew and his saucy wife, Kate.

With Kristen, we get to visit with the gang in Montana and meet a ski instructor that made me want to leave on the first plane to Montana to see if I could find him!

Melody's sweet love story is about two polar opposites who find love when thrown together by the meddling ladies of a small Montana town.
And Kate's story of a love lost then found again only to wonder if the choices made where for the right reasons...and can they move past it, to find love again.

I ended the book with a smile on my face and a renewed love for the authors I knew and the excitement of finding two new authors, I can't wait to know more of.

Love Love Love - Baby It's Cold Outside. You don't want to miss this treasure of a treat.

I would review each book singularly but they would all say the same thing - Excellent, brilliant, heartwarming!!! Each story tugged at my little Grinch heart - I am not a fan of Christmas coming too early - December 24th is early enough for me!

If you read one Christmas/Winter anthology please ensure it is this one. Although most of these stories are spin off's from current series - you can easily read each one without having needed to have read any of the other books.

Kate Meader was the only new author to me - I have read all of Jennifer, Emma & Kristens books and most of Melody's (that's alot of books!). I shall be seeking out more by Kate and look forward to the continuation of the Chigago FD Engine 6 boys stories.
