Garantiertes Happy End!
“ I’ve never kissed anyone before and it becomes clear very quickly that Miceli is a master kisser.” 🤦🏻♀️ The story has a potential but this and other things are hard to read! Unfortunately!
This is a Mafia Romance, and this is the first book in the Mafia Kingpins series. I loved getting to know the characters in this book. The two main characters had a connection for the very beginning, and I found the beginning of this book to be cute and funny about the mixed up. I think Miceli and Alessia romance was fast moving. The ending was good. I wanted more action and grittiness because if I read a Mafia I want some dark and gritty with my romance. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
Alessia is arranged to be married, she is less than pleased by the hand she has been dealt as the daughter of a mafia man. When she meets who she believes is her future husband, Miceli, she is pleasantly surprised. There is a spark between them but when she finds out he is the intended for her older sister, disappointment sets in and the man to be hers frightens her.
Miceli intends to have Alessia, he knows it may start a war but he also knows she is meant to be his. When his plans don't get the results he wants, he takes matters into his own hands. Can the threats coming his way be thwarted or will it destroy everything he is building?
This was fun, a bit rushed at times but I enjoyed how the characters connected and the ruthlessness of Miceli. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
Tropes : mafia romance, insta love, possessive H, alpha H, arranged marriage, forbidden love, innocent h, age gap (10 years) Ending : HEA Triggers : attempted SA, kidnapping, abuse, violence, 💀, gore Spice : 🌶️🌶️/5 Angst : 🔥🔥/5 OM/OW drama : OM (supposed to be h’s intended) Intimacy details: virgin h, vanilla sex, oral Standalone/Series : part of interconnected series
This is a lighter version of mafia romance than what I normally read and it was pretty enjoyable. This got insta love vibe to it and got more romance than action but still good.
Miceli was a gentleman since the very beginning, it’s not a dark romance by any means so if you’re interested in reading a mafia romance that has a smitten H since the first chapter, this would be for you.
The steam was not crazy. Their first time was explicit but a couple times after that was not detailed so the smut level was pretty low but I’m okay with that.
The ending was good with both of them have a 1 week old baby boy. Both of them were being cute.

I recently got into mafia romances, this was a very poor attempt. I didn't get mafia at all. The way he decided she was his and the great love of his life within five minutes of meeting her just made me cringe, it went downhill from there. There other guy was a cartoon villian and they were all so one dimensional. I kept reading thinking it can be so bad but it was, I've given one star because I finished it, what a waste of time though

This was an absolutely amazing book one that I couldn't put down, I loved Alessia and Miceli the instant attraction they had when they shouldn't, they belong to someone else. Alessia catches an Uber and takes off she's running because she doesn't want to marry the person she was given to Bianchi, he ended up putting a hit on her that's when Miceli saved her then married her. The chemistry between them was hot 🔥 hot.

Really enjoyed the relationship and two main characters in this, it felt a bit quick for their romance but I still enjoyed it. I liked seeing the softer side for once and not all hard/coldness which was a nice change in a mafia romance, I would have liked a bit more action/danger as it’s mafia but still a lovely romance
This was an awesome read from the get-go. There was just something about the powerful handsome Miceli from the get go, and his obsession with Alessia. This was a quick to burn romance, with lots of mafia action and charm. I loved how I couldn’t put this book down, & that the characters were easy to relate to and follow along. Really enjoyed this story!.

Aldo tells him no because he made a promise to Rocco's father a year ago for Alessia to be Rocco's wife. Miceli couldn't believe that Aldo turned him down and tell him no, and nobody tells him no. It is then that he saw her leaving her house and hopping into a rideshare and followed them which ended at Penn Station. He got out and asked her what she was doing and she told him that she was running away because she didn't want to marry a stranger and choose for herself. As the two was talking Miceli saw a threat, a mask man came out and started shooting at them in broad daylight. Miceli shield Alessia and killed the guy, then took her home with him thus kidnapping her, that wasn't his plans in getting her but when the circumstance arises he took advantage of it. This is the story of how Alessia and Miceli meet and the trouble they have. For a mafia story, it was actually pretty clean and upbeat. While there is some trouble and danger, they get their happy ending and not have to go through horrible things to get their. It more focuses on them. But get to see Miceli be an alpha mafia man. It made me laugh at times as these two basically get their insta love connection. I enjoyed it an would read the next story to see what happens next especially if Gia gets her happy ending too.
there being 3 spelling errors in one paragraph really sets the tone for this whole book honestly.
y’all need to stop with the instant love within seconds of meeting someone and then just instant marriage and no getting to know each other, no angst, nothing. even the kidnapping was lackluster. like i’m sorry but i want MORE kidnapping, more anger more intrigue. idk man

The start to the Mafia Kingpins series once you start you won’t want to put it down want make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Sometimes a mix-up is the best thing that can happen. Alessia and Gia knew they would be married off to further their family’s position within the mafia. Alessia was given to Rocco a brutal leader not a very nice man and Gia to Miceli but somehow, they went to the wrong room thus the mix-up. Alessia is sweet when she wants to be meets the wrong man by mistake but the more, they get to know each other they both realize they are meant to be with one another and so that is what they end to do. Miceli sexy as all get out dangerous, ruthless on a good day, deadly everyday knowing he must get married but the moment he meets the women he thinks he is supposed to marry, and he is happy about marrying his girl until they discover she is the wrong girl meant to marry Rocco and he wants her. So, he asks his father who tells him no he can’t marry Alessia, so he leaves taking his girl with him and the magnetic pull just grows stronger so does Rocco relentless pursuit especially after marrying her out of protection but will he continue to protect her, will Rocco give up on trying to take her, will her sister have to marry Rocco, and have they found happiness along the way?
Alessia is a mafia princess. Both her and her sister have been promised in marriage to two different bosses of one of the five families to strengthen the ties between the 3 families. Alessia is innocent and she is nervous about the entire situation and does not want to be forced into marriage at all, let alone to a stranger. Through an unexpected mix up, she meets Miceli who is actually promised to her sister. They have an immediate attraction before they realize their mistake. Miceli decides instantly that he has to have Alessia by any means. Alessia meets her actual match and decides she will stand up for herself and runs away. Miceli, giving into his need to have Alessia and follows her when she sneaks out of her house, only to end up saving her life when there is an attempt on her life.
This is a cute mafia romance. Miceli is all you expect from a mafia boss, and Alessia is a predictable innocent mafia princess but when backed against the wall, she finds her hidden backbone and makes decisions for herself. I really enjoyed this story and I am excited for future books in this series. Plenty of steam, great characters, and a cute love story between Alessia and Miceli. Definitely works the read.

This is the 1st story in the Mafia Kingpins series where we meet Miceli the Don of his family and his journey to getting married to fending off enemies. Gia and Alessia are sisters whose father set up arranged marriages for his daughters so when Alessia meets Miceli first she finds herself hopeful after all her anxiety. When Miceli meets Gia he knows she’s the wrong sister and lets her father know. Then Rocco another Don meets Alessia he’s happy and rumors have it he’s a mean nasty man. With the 5 Families in a century old alliance to control the area things with Rocco and the other 4 families have shown some strain so when Miceli ends up protecting a runaway, Alessia he ends up marrying her without anyone’s knowledge. Rocco takes offense and sets his sights on revenge and makes choices he can never take back. Alessia and Miceli develop a quick loving relationship that will give them the strength to handle what their enemies bring. Miceli and his ruthlessness will be needed to handle those who take what’s his! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

His to Own is not as typical as I thought it would be. It meets all of the romance tropes - billionaire, mafia, Insta-love, virgin and pregnancy.
Micelo Rossi is the head of one of the five ruling mafia families in New York. Alessia Deluca is one of two daughters of the DeLuca family promised to the head of the Bianche family. Gia DeLuca, Alessia's older sister, is promised to Micelo Rossi. However, through a mix up, Alessia and Micelo meet and there's insta love/lust. Micelo knows that Alessia is his.
This is the love story of Alessia and Micelo and the dangers they face while discovering their real love. They go against her father, who gave his word that Alessia is to marry Bianche. Bianche is an extremely cruel, evil person who only wants Alessia because she's a virgin and will do anything to have her. Then, there's the other families who believes Micelo is in the wrong.
Do all love stories have HEA? Will the other families side with Bianche and DeLuca's decision about his daughters? All questions will be answered in the short, interesting read.
Alessia and Miceli were so hot, maybe they didn't start that way but they had a happy ending, Michelin met Alessia by mistake but right off the bat he knew what he wanted and she was his. But he had to fight for her because it was a pretty arrangement and she was suppose to his enemy Ricco but that doesn't stop Miceli, he decides to watch Alessia and he seems her get in a Uber and he tails to a train station and he saves her life and he takes her home and tells her he is going to protect her and the next thing he tells her he is marrying her to protect he and give her protection, Rocco is still after her and then he kippnap her .Miceli and his brothers go after them, they save her but they take out Ricco and his goons, but he has to go infront of the five families and plead his case,he states the truth, holds his temper and answers their questions. It look like it was touch and go but he was able to keep his place at the table.Miceli and Alessia love it other very much, him from day one ,her a little in their marriage and had a very ending and created a new life! This story is hot, dark and has a lot of energy!
Heroine -virgin ( As usual, majority of the heroine feel vulnerable and stupid if she is a virgin. She think of herself as low, idiot. I mean, I hate when stories highlight virginity too much. "Virgin blood", innocence blah blah blah.
Point to be noted - These so called virgin hunters are Manwhores.
I hate when Hero talks about other women and compares with the h. How inexperienced, how innocent she is...I cannot handle such asshole even for a sec.
So yes. this book isn't for me.
These people lives in some centuries where they gave no choice to women's opinion, women are stupid, dumb and idiot, evennif she escapes she cannot be successful because you know, they are stupid, these men manhandle their women, take her Virginity shit like a trophy and expect her to be a trophy wife for his wish and obviously Manwhores everywhere.
I enjoy virgin romance, but whenever she thinks herself low just because she is a virgin...I cannot consume that thought, nor when the heroines dad knows about her virginity status and makes a big deal... That's creepy as fuck...
I loved this story and just bought the next one. Alessia and Gia were told they were getting married to other head of mob families. Rocco was supposed to marry Alessia and Gia to Miceli. When they went to meet the men, they went to the wrong rooms and Alessia met Miceli. They were perfect for each other. Then they discovered they were in the wrong rooms. They switched rooms and Alessia knew she would never marry Rocco as he was not a nice man. Gia knew she wasn't suited for Miceli too. Miceli told their father that he wanted to marry Alessia and was told no, so he left. That's where the story really gets interesting. Alessia runs away, Miceli finds her and saves her from being killed, marries her and then has to protect her several times from Rocco's men. It was a very good story. I loved that the two main characters reaiized they loved each other and it was a good match. Lots of drama - well worth reading.

The storyline has arranged Maria marriages for Gia and her younger sister Alessia, but when Gia’s intended, Miceli accidentally meets Alessia first and has an instant connection, all bets are off because what Miceli wants, he gets. When Miceli decides to get to know Alessia better, he follows her and discovers she’s running away, and manages to prevent her from being shot. He whisks her away to his apartment and by Morning they are married and dealing with Mafia fallout since Rocco was Alessia was to be his fiancée. Her innocence was particularly enticing to both men, but Rocco’s a despicable human and he’s being accused of killing his ex-girlfriend. The main characters have an instant connection despite his Mafia background, and her sweet demeanor and caring ways win Miceli over more every day. There are few surprises but still a satisfying romance. The epilogue added a HEA, although little was ever discussed how their lives could be reconciled with his Maria background.
