Shadow's Call

Like most girls her age Thea was a sixteen year old who went to school, had a job and hung out with her two best friends before she had to be home for curfew. However there was always something a little different about her, like how she could see the shadows alive and moving since her mother disappeared when she was a child. Apart from thinking she was insane she thought she belonged in the mortal world, that was until she found out that both her friends, her mother and she herself were a part of a secret race of part humans called the Lumen who fight creatures of the dark called Shadows. Therefore she begins a new life with the Lumen in their secret London headquarters however even then something isn’t right. Thea notices that she is different from her friends and has no idea why. Little does she know that the Shadow king Raven has taken an obsessive interest in her and her arrival in the supernatural world will be the beginning of the fight for the very freedom to live her life as she chooses.

Shadow’s Call is a story of friendship, betrayal, action, obsession, courage, and self-discovery as Thea fights for the very thing we take for granted… the right to choose how we live.
