Esto fue desagradable de leer. No le veo el sentido a escribir una historia de este tipo y venderla como "romance".

❌ Shelves: stupid-drama, ow-om-drama, both-non-virgins, heroine-sexual-stuff-with-om, heroine-emotional-cheating, heroine-in-love-the-hero-since-childhood, father's-best-friend, taboo, forbidden, age-gap, accidental-pregnancy, cynical-hypocritical-heroine, hated-heroine, idiot-hero, doormat-pathetic-heroe, deranged-characters-pls-get-help, no-brain-cells, mf, dnf-not-for-me, not-safe.
🚫 N O T A S 🚫
No entiendo el super drama que leemos por parte de la heroina, cuando el chico/Paul con el que lleva unos meses follando sin parar (¡Como conejos en celo!), le dice que lo suyo es solo sexo, que no quiere tener una relación seria con ella... No lo entiendo, porque ella dice estar enamorada del Héroe básicamente desde niña, y cuando termina las maratones sexuales con Paul parece como si la hubiese dejado el gran amor de su vida. 🙄 Entra en depresión, bebe, sale de fiesta (Nunca se aclara si se enreda con otros chicos, pero por la fecha de la "ruptura" + cuando está por primera con el Héroe, cuando dice/piensa el tiempo que lleva sin sexo... parece estuvo con otro/s después de Paul y estar en mega-super drama) Para el Héroe ser el único hombre que ha amado y que supuestamente sigue amando, tenemos escenas y más escenas de la heroina sufriendo por lo de Paul, como si le hubiese roto el corazón y no logra superarlo... 🙄
¡Simplemente RIDÍCULA!

This starts with Ella telling her boyfriend that she loves him. He pushes her away and says they were never dating, that it was just sex
Then for whatever reason it cuts to 2 years later! I thought that was weird! Alan is having dinner with her parents and her dad asks him to give her a job because he thinks she has gone off the rails cos he saw a few pictures of her drinking. Honestly her dad was the worst!!!! Alan uses the bathroom and goes in her bedroom and starts snooping and sees her sex toys. Creep alert!!
Anyway Ella starts working for Alan. His son hits on her but she says no, she doesn't want anymore boys anymore. One talk with Alan in his office and she is obsessed and in love with him.
He throws her a birthday party on his boat and she is basically assaulted by his son. She tries to fight him off but he is strong. Alan comes in and stops it and she is so grateful they have sex.
They start to have sex in private and he invites her to move into his guest house which she wants to but is worried about his son. Rightfully so!
He keeps popping in for sex and then she tells him she loves him, he runs off and says its just sex. He changes his tune pretty quick. On her wedding day her mum tells her that Alan asked her out a few times back in the day! OMG BARF!!! Why would you say that??
Her dad is a arse all the way through this. He says he is just protecting her but what he is doing is trying to control her every move. Everyone treats her like a child but she is 22. Its seriously annoying!!
She is 22 like I said and he is 40. I don't mind age gaps usually but at only 200 pages there is not a lot of time to really feel anything for these characters. It made me not like it. They must have said cum or cummy?? at least every other page which was annoying!
The epilogue was ok!

Ella is partying a little too much, so her father asks his friend Alan to hire her so maybe she'll settle down. Alan was supposed to look out for her but as soon as he saw Ella, he wanted her. Sparks fly between them and soon a line is crossed between them. What will her father think about them being together? Will they continue to be together?
This is a steamy story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Ella is young, likes to party & has the hots for her father's best friend Allan. They fight the attraction until one night temptation proves too much. Is this a one time only or the start of forever?.

When Ella begins to drink and party to much her dad asks his best friend Alan to give her a job and watch out for her. Well his plan works a little too well. Ella is extremely attracted to Alan and has decided they should burn up the sheet together. Everything’s going great until the two pink lines bring the affair out in the open. Great book!.

Déjà l’histoire m’a de ouf fait penser à un autre livre (je sais plus lequel) donc ça m’a perturbé toute ma lecture.
Ella est un peu perdue, elle cherche juste à être aimé et du coup des fois elle fait n’imp.
Alan a pas envie de franchir certaines limites mais il le fait quand même. Mais du coup son comportement on dirait il s’en fou sauf à la fin où retournement de veste.
La relation est trop superficiel.

It was a nice short read. I enjoyed it a bit but it was really lacking substance. The conversations of the characters were kind of pretentious so it was hard to really get into the story. It was also a bit weird that Lewis was 52 years old. I can't imagine anyone experiencing love at first sight with such an old man? Other than that, it was a cute fun read and glad they had a happy ending.

loved this story
I absolutely loved this story. The conflict, the heat it was spot on. My only issue is that early on Allen referred to himself as daddy during a steamy scene and that was the only time it was used in that case.

Excellent book
I started reading this book tonight and couldn't put it down. I hope there is a sequel so I can find out what happens to the family, the business, and whether they have a boy or girl or maybe twins. Storyline flowed nicely.

Another book that checks all my boxes!!! Age Gap, daddy's best friend, hot AF billionaire, young thang gone wild, steamy sex scenes, lots of drama/angst, a few tears shed, unexpected pregnancy, and, of course, a HEA. What more could you want?

Interesting story.
