Imperfect Arrangement

Rate this book
Raymond Teager is the last man I ever expected to fall for— mostly because I can’t stand him.

My biggest rival, the arrogant billionaire, is determined to buy the land my grandfather left me. The same land I’ve spent my whole life dreaming about turning into a wedding estate.

We’re sworn enemies and this small town isn’t big enough for the both of us… until his daughter chooses me.

She’s sweet, shy and only commutes in sign language— even with him. But things take a shocking turn when our paths cross on a ferris wheel, and she decides that I’m the one she wants to talk to.

Raymond makes me an offer I can’t refuse: be her nanny, and he’ll help me bring my dream to life.

I told myself it’s temporary. Strictly business. But things get complicated fast.

Because one minute I’m saying yes and the next I’m living in his house, wearing a fake engagement ring, falling in love with his little girl… and desperately trying not to fall for her daddy, too.

But our make-believe happily ever after has an expiration date and the thought of leaving Raymond’s house feels far scarier than walking into it.

This arrangement was slow burn and heartwarming. Although a little long, it managed to touch my heart - especially Raymond’s daughter.

What slightly bothered me was how Raymond’s cold character shifted. He was called The Shark business wise - and not without a reason - but later he was very emotional towards Willow bordering on cheesy.

Regarding Willow, her insecurities were definitely not her best feature. After a while, they became tiresome and frustrating.

It was so nice meeting Daisy and Charles again and I was thrilled they had a baby daughter.

I will definitely read the next imperfect part!!!

Raymond 😍

Vikki Jay has done it again. Imperfect Arrangement just become one of my top reads of 2025.

Willow is such a spit fire right out of the gate. And if you read the previous book you may have seen a glimpse of that fire. Everything she does is to keep her and grandfather dream alive. When she forms a connection with six year old girl named Quill it’s great to see a different side of her. Willow brings out all the good that is Quill and you will see Quill open up to her in a way she hasn’t opened up to her dad (Raymond).

Raymond is all serious, and it’s great to see how well he grew up. The most important thing in his life is his sweet daughter Quill. So he’ll do anything to keep her safe. Even entering into a fake engagement to the one that gives him headaches. And she will do the same to see her dream and her grandpa finally be fulfilled. So you see lots of sweet, tender moment between Willow and Quill. And you’ll also see a more gentle side of Raymond when he is with both his girls.

Imperfect Arrangement has it all love, laughs, sunflowers, fairies and even some tears. I just couldn’t get enough of this phenomenal story. And it always great to go back to the town of Cherrywood. 💚🧚🌻

This story delivers a slow burn romance with sizzling tension, passion and is packed with emotion.

Ray is a broody, single dad to his daughter, Quill, who only speaks through ASL. He clashed with Willow, the feisty and passionate woman who now owns the land his company wants. These two clash until Ray overhears his daughter talking to Willow and that changes everything and a new agreement is reached.

Ray and Willow are meant to be and when you add Quill into the mix, it makes for some heart warming moments. The chemistry between Willow and Ray is electric

Raymond and Willow were ok, in my opinion. They didn't have crazy sparks or chemistry, but nonetheless, they were entertaining. I absolutely loved Willow with Quill, and I always love me a softy dad for his baby girl which Raymond absolutely was. Story progressed smoothly and moved alone. Spice was at a minimum - we get very little of it. However, what we do get is good. When Quill finally speaks to Raymond, omg be still my heart. I do wish we go to the bottom of Quill's selective mutism, and why she decided she wanted to speak to Willow. All she says is she spoke because Willow looked sad like she was. I wanted more out of that storyline. Overall the story left me wanting more.

Imperfect Arrangement book 2 of the Elixer Bachelor Billionaires Series. Vikki Jay wrote such a heartwarming story that will have you laughing, crying, and yelling. I was om an emotional rollercoster with this read, and I loved every moment.

Raymond is a go for the kill business man who is a single dad to Quill aka Bug. She walked into his life when her mother passed away, and she was left with grandparents, who also passed. He is a loving, caring, overprotective dad. Quill communicates through ASL. He has tried so many methods and hired experts, but he can't solve his daughter’s reason to not talk.

Willow is determined, good-hearted, nothing will stand in my way type of girl. Willow has experienced loss of her own from a young age.

Willow can't stand Raymond. Raymond and Willow do not start off with a good relationship. He may be attractive to her, but she is standing in his way of expanding his hotel empire. She refuses to sell her grandfather's land. Her dream is to open up a cozy, rustic wedding venue.

Willow one day ends up meeting Quill, while on the towns ferris wheel, where she makes secret wishes. Quill takes to Willow, and she starts speaking to her. When Raymond discovers that his daughter spoke, he has to find out why Quill will only speak to Willow. He makes a deal with Willow. His partnership in her venue idea in exchange Willow must be Quill new nanny.

Willow agrees to the arrangement. During the meeting that her and Raymond had with investors, a lie had to be told to protect Quill's identity. Raymond and Willow are now engaged!
This is a slow burn, where he not only falls for Willow but expresses to her that this fake engagement is very much real to him.

Raymond doesn't do casual, and after one night together, he starts falling hard and fast. Willow doesn't do serious, thanks to her past and fear of abandonment, but she can't deny her feelings for Raymond. They open up to each other, sharing things that they don't share with others. During one of those shared moments, he reveals the sweetest secret to Willow.

Willow is finding it hard to overcome her fears and let herself be happy. Raymond and Quill do their best to show her how much she fits into their little family.

This may be a sliw burn, but when it starts getting physical between Raymond and Willow, he shows her that he aims to please. When it got spicy, it got spicy.

Vikki Hay definitely wrote a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read. She had me falling hard for Raymond and cheering these characters on. Vikki wrote Willow's character strong even when she felt weak, but I did find myself yelling at times and saying Willow you better get it together These characters were truly written beautifully.

I can't wait to read Ro's story, Imperfect Soulmate.

Willow will do anything to keep the family land her cousin is contesting as his, including trying to strike up a deal with the developer he hired. Unfortunately, the man is an absolute shark and only has thoughts of taking over and crushing those beneath him - from what she can see. She's pushed to her limit, and realizing all of her dreams are falling through her grasp until she meets a sweet little girl on a ferris wheel that changes the trajectory of everything.

*****

This is my first time reading this author and I was immediately hooked. Willow is stubborn, willful, defensive, and one of my favourite types of FMC's - she doesn't take shit from the male lead. Seeing them at each others throats was absolutely perfect. As was having Raymond realise he and Quill needed Willow more than he'd ever expected. This was such a slow burn, but in a way that had constant tension and the pages absolutely burning. It's a longer novel for a romance but at no point did it feel like it fell off, or took too long for them to finally get together.

Also when Raymond decided he was all in to sway Willow? Ooh boy that was chemistry, swoon, and BDE for miles. Everything about Willow and Raymond together was fantastic, even if the explicit scenes were more on the mild side. There was so much build up and tension that it was absolutely worth it. Also Quinn and Willow? Pure magic. I loved that we had selective mutism representation in two separate leads in this world, and getting peeks into Quinn's thoughts was so sweet.

I did find the ending to be a bit surprising that it leaped forward to where it did (no spoilers!). However, I think that felt rushed due to the large time jump towards the end of the story that we didn't get to see play out on the page.

Either way this was fantastic, and fun and sweet and I absolutely teared up more than once. If you like single dad, forced proximity romances where he falls hard and steady, this one is for you.

"I’d underestimated the force of attraction between us. I’d misjudged that I could stand this close, breathe her in and not touch her."

“Keep me close, Miss Pershing, and soon my surprises will be your new regular in a way that you’ll crave them when I’m not around.”

When I read Charles and Daisy's book, Imperfect Match, I got glimpses of Raymond and Willow, and I couldn't wait for their book to come out! And I was not disappointed!

Willow is a fiery redhead who, on the outside, is self-assured and goes after what she wants. But on the inside, she's terrified of commitment and long-term relationships because she has an 'everyone will eventually leave and good things don't last' mindset.

Raymond became a dad to a six year old only 6 months ago, and he is the epitome of a protective daddy bear. He would do anything and everything to make sure his daughter, Quill, is happy and safe. He's read all the parenting books he can and even hired his business enemy to be her nanny. Quill has situational mutism, so Raymond has never heard her voice. But something about Willow leads Quill to choosing her as her person, and she starts speaking to Willow. Raymond thinks if Willow is the live-in nanny, maybe Quill will open up to Raymond someday.

Raymond and Willow create this imperfect arrangement where Willow will be the nanny, and Raymond will invest in her wedding estate she wants to build on her late grandfather's land. Then, it turns into a fake engagement to get Raymond's shareholders to agree to the investment.

Little by little, though, their chemistry becomes undeniable, and all the hate and disdain they held for each other becomes love and lust. The little things in this book were my favorite parts. Raymond's dedication to learning to be a girl dad - learning to braid her hair and online clothes shopping with her when he could have easily paid people to do these things. His grand gestures for Willow, including creating a memorial for her grandfather, were downright swoon-worthy. The town Ferris wheel, sunflowers, and feathers are important to this little family's story, and it was just the cutest! Willow's inability to see that sometimes good things and people in life will stay lead Raymond and Quill to helping her see they aren't going anywhere.

This was everything I wanted and more out of Ray and Willow's story! Add this one to your TBR!

Thank you to The Author Agency for the eARC and the opportunity to share my honest thoughts and opinions!

goddammit.

i knew the moment i met ray and his daughter, quill, in imperfect match, he’s gonna be my next swoon-worthy man. and damn, if it couldn’t be any more true.

fair warning, this is not your ordinary single-dad nanny kinda book.

somehow this book turned out exactly like how i envisioned it would be. i knew i wouldn’t like first half of the book, because of all those introductions, the getting to know each other, the lack of bond, and that enemy kinda thing. yet i knew, i would really really love—totally beyond every thing—the half rest of the book. because it was so swooning, i might be dizzy in the best way ever.

raymond is a jerk in the beginning. but dang, now i couldn’t choose between him and charles. he’s the best dad ever. even when quill was not his daughter, yup i never see that coming. not at all.

i wasn’t really a fan of willow in imperfect match either. but damn, meet willow and quill. they’re like beams of sunshine ray through the blooming sunflowers.

and all those sunshines and sunflowers and firefly, they even matched with raymond’s name: RAY. how insane was that. what did you do, dear author. that’s so cool.

i can’t even get enough of those chapters titles. those were the best and most genius things ever.

it’s true that i cried less than i did reading imperfect match, but i didn’t love this less than what i did to imperfect match.

in fact, i might start reading all of her books. she’s definitely my fav author now. i love how she crafted her stories. and with twists i never see coming. and not a dull moments in her story. and not a repeating scenes from each book. literally perfect.

oh oh oh, i really like that scene where ray’s braiding willow’s hair. also the whole ferris wheel and wishes and sunflowers. but let’s just be honest, which scene that i didn’t like even for a bit. it was like none. na-dah. zero.

now im curious of what tropes they are about rowan and violet. and i really can’t wait to read alex and chloe story. i knew they would be the last book, wouldn’t they? oh dear wish fairy, please let me be right.

it started as a four stars but i knew it from the start that this would finish with a five stars read. quill had all my heart <3

Imperfect Arrangement by Vikki Jay was such a fun and captivating book to read. This is the first book I have read by Vikki Jay, and I am obsessed with her writing style. She created a beautiful world and filled it with complex characters. I thought this book had an original storyline and was turningly good. I devoured this book in one day and might have missed a few hours of sleep to finish it. The characters had an instant and an enemies-to-lovers chemistry. This book had me laughing, crying, and swooning throughout this book. I loved the banter between Willow and Raymond; they had the best clapbacks and angsty arguments. This book is filled with drama, angst, spice, and more drama. I can't wait to see what comes next with this author.-By Brooke

Imperfect Arrangement had so many of my favorite story lines going on all in one that I had to give it a shot. Enemies to lovers that turn into a boss/nanny leading to a fake engagement definitely hits so many of my favorites. Having Raymond's daughter Quill be the one that pulls him and Willow together in a unique way because of Quills silence was definitely a twist that made the story stand out. In the beginning Raymond was so cold and unwilling to consider working with Willow while they were fighting for the same piece of land. However once Raymond gets to know Willow and realizes that his daughter actually opens up to her, makes him willing to make an arrangement that would be beneficial to both of them. This is a slow burn romance with drama coming from Raymond wanting to be serious and Willow struggling to overcome her past insecurities and unwillingness to have a serious relationship. The first part of the book took me a little while to really get into but the more I read the more I did start to wonder how things were going to work out. I did enjoy the writing and the characters and was rooting for them to all find their happily ever after. Definitely one worth adding to your TBR list. 4 stars-By Alisa

Imprefect Arrangement is book two in the Elixir Bachelor Billionaires series and is the story or Raymond and Willow. This is a enemies to lover's, single dad romance with found family and an adorable little girl.

Willow runs her family's B&B in her hometown of Cherrywood and has always dreamed of opening a large wedding estate on land her grandfather had promised her. Unfortunately, the land is not hers as she thought and the owner of Elixir Properties wants her land to build a luxury hotel. Willow and Raymond cannot come to an agreement and their continued battles only make Raymond want Willow more. What Willow did not expect was to come face to face with a beautiful little girl on her favorite ferris wheel and discover her business rival is the little girl's father. She only communicates using sign language but for some reason, chooses Willow to speak to. Now Raymond will do anything in his power to hear his daughter speak, including asking Willow to be her nanny and partnering in Willow's wedding estate dream.

This is suc a lovely story of a man willing to do anything to make his daughter happy and to be there for her no matter the cost or consequence. Raymond is a ruthless businessman but an unapologetic father to his daughter. His willingness to experience new things he never intended, finding love and a family when he wasn't lookinand showing Willow that she can trust that he will be the man she needs. Willow's insecurities were addressed well and while they did dictate some questionable decisions, she did not let them rule her life and let go of something that is truly magical for her and Raymond.

I highly recommend this book for all lovers of romance, there was spice, some angst, found family and Raymond's unwavering faith in Willow. The HEA is well worth the third act breakup and the banter and depth of characters was fantastic.

I love Quill and Willow, but Raymon (besides having the worst name ever) is so fucking cold and unfeeling with Willow until suddenly she’s useful to him.
I don’t care about physical attraction or that he had “respect” for her fight. Him having 0 empathy and only thinking about his gains while saying “useless morals” because he knows that what he’s doing is fucked up it’s so selfish and I don’t like him.

The representation is so cool. Both with Quill and the cousin.

I thought Ray was going to plot and scheme to get his cake and eat it too, but the guy surprised me and showed he had his priorities straight, putting his daughter’s well before anything else.

I didn’t feel much chemistry between them during the first 40%. Sure, they found the other attractive, but there were no tension filled moments to hint at them being compatible together.

Then when that tension was there, Willow had to be all “but I don’t want serious”…bsff You’d rather spend your life alone than go to therapy and fix your issues? Okay got it. Her being a commitment phobe really put me off.

Sad to say both him and her annoyed me at some point and I couldn’t come back from that, no matter how good of a father he was to Quill or how much Willow opened up to both.

I’m not going to say the book is bad because it was entertaining and I kept reading, I have to admit that maybe my mood (bad, very bad mood) influenced my feelings for this book, because it was in all honesty pretty solid, so I do recommend it. I will probably come back and reread it when I’m my happy self again to do it justice.

Thank you TAA and Vikki for the e-arc.

Happy release day @vikkijayauthor ! I can’t wait for everyone to read this beautiful romance!

Imperfect Arrangement is a small town, billionaire, single dad, enemies to lovers, boss x nanny, fake engagement romance between Willow and Raymond.

I can understand why Willow is so hesitant to fall in love with Raymond, constantly having to remind herself that they’re in a fake relationship that will end. But that doesn’t stop her from bonding with his adorable daughter, Quill, and wanting to do anything to make her happy. I love how his family takes her in and treats her as their own, and how everyone’s love for her helped her heal from her past so she could accept their love just as freely as she gives them hers. And I really loved how her story reminded me that dreams can change into something even bigger and better than we ever could have imagined for ourselves.

I loved how the catalyst for Raymond to start falling in love with Willow was watching how his daughter, Quill, opened up to her. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for Quill, and we get to watch that love extend to Willow as they fall in love. I loved watching him open up around Willow, showing her a more playful side to himself that he reserves for mostly Quill. He’s understandably grumpy at first, but the more he falls for Willow, the more he shows how big his heart is for his loved ones, revealing the big sweetheart he truly is. I can’t wait for everyone to not only love Raymond, but also Quill, as they both find a way to heal through love.

Thank you so much to @vikkijayauthor and @theauthor.agency for this gorgeous arc!

“A home built on sunflowers, love, and the kind of magic that never fades.”

This is the first book I’ve ready by Vikki Jay and I loved every single word. This story will stay with you, melt your heart and give you all the feels..and probably a few tears.

Raymond is a jerk…well at least that’s the way he initially presents himself. However, he is a good man, a good dad and a good person. I loved his growth throughout the story. His relationship with his daughter Quill is so sweet.

Willow is a strong woman, knows what she wants and will fight (anyone) who gets in the way of her dreams. She is feisty, loyal and loves hard.

Her relationship with Quill is so beautiful, tender and loving. She beings out the best in Quill and helps give her confidence.

Willow - “I feel the weight of this family’s love - and it terrifies me how much I want to belong to it.”

Raymond and Willow are such a delight! From their feuding , to compromises, to unexpected living arrangements to their incredible love story. Their relationship blossoms into something so beautiful. They are what each other needs at the perfect time.

Quills chapter at the end of the book and in the epilogue….perfection.

The way sunflowers are folded into the story is amazing…they have so many special meanings and hold a special place in their hearts.

This is a very moving story that will take you through a range of emotions and it will stay with you for some time. Beautiful story.

🌻Enemies to Lovers
🌻Billionaire

🌻Small Town
🌻Boss/Nanny
🌻Forced Proximity
🌻Fake Engagement

First off, Quill was the absolute cutest little girl ever! I absolutely loved that we actually got a taste of her POV at the end and in the bonus content!

Willow & Raymond are both amazing stubborn in what they want and believe. She wants to open her wedding venue, on land previously owned by her grandfather, and he wants to open a hotel on it. Each & every meeting ends up with them butting heads in the worst of ways.

After an unplanned meeting, with his daughter, Willow gets Quill to speak despite her selective mutism. When she's able to do so again, shortly thereafter, Raymond comes up with the idea of finally working together simply for Quill to potentially continue opening up. His proposal is simple: Nanny for me, and I'll invest in your wedding venue dream.

Throughout their time, Willow continues growing closer to both Quill & Raymond. While her dream is being realized, her walls are also coming down. She's stupidly protective of Quill even though she has never wanted children of her & has ZERO experience with them.

The ferris wheel & sunflower scenes are the absolute cutest and I cannot get over them. I additionally lover Raymond showing Willow that her name means so much more than she initially thought

Seeing Daisy & Charles around was a joy as I loved their book.

💍✨ Imperfect Arrangement by Vikki Jay is the perfect mix of fake dating, sizzling tension, and “how did we get here and why do I never want to leave?” energy! If you love a romance that feels like a rollercoaster of butterflies, banter, and oh-no-we’re-falling feelings—buckle up, because this one DELIVERS. 🎢💕

Our heroine? Bold, beautiful, and not here to play it safe. Our hero? Ohhhh, he’s the kind of man who pretends it’s all business… until his heart gets involved. And then it’s game over. Their chemistry? Electric. Their banter? Chef’s kiss. Their fake relationship? A total recipe for chaos... the delicious kind. 😍

I absolutely devoured this story. It had everything I love: laugh-out-loud moments, spicy scenes that made me blush (and then reread 👀), and emotional beats that gave the story so much heart. It’s playful and passionate in equal measure, with just enough tension to keep you flipping pages like your life depends on it.

Vikki Jay has this way of creating characters you want to hang out with and cheer for—and relationships that make you feel all the things. Imperfect Arrangement may be built on a “pretend” foundation, but what blossoms between these two? Very, very real—and SO much fun to watch unfold.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — For fake dating, slow-burn sizzle, swoony surprises, and the reminder that sometimes the best love stories are the ones that were never supposed to be real.

Vikki Jay strikes again—delivering another emotionally rich, utterly swoon-worthy romance in Imperfect Arrangement. This story is bursting with heart, heat, and those soul-deep moments that linger long after the final page.

Ray is the perfect broody billionaire—commanding in the boardroom, guarded in his personal life, and navigating unexpected fatherhood after becoming sole guardian of his daughter, Quill. She’s been with him for a while now, but only communicates through sign language… until the day he overhears her speaking actual words—for the first time ever—to a woman named Willow.

Willow is driven, passionate, and chasing her dream of turning her grandfather’s land into a unique wedding venue. But her plans hit a wall—namely, Ray’s company, which wants the land for something much bigger and less personal. The two clash instantly, each fighting for what they believe in, but everything shifts when Quill bonds with Willow in a way she hasn’t with anyone else.

From that moment, a reluctant partnership forms. A deal is struck. And then? A fake engagement that quickly spirals into very real chemistry. Neither Ray nor Willow is prepared for the way they light each other up, or for how deeply their lives begin to intertwine.

This book has everything: sizzling tension, fierce emotion, and heart-melting moments that’ll leave you teary-eyed. Watching the bond grow between Ray, Willow, and sweet Quill is pure magic. The sunflower wishes, the delicate steps toward healing, the family dynamic that blossoms—it’s all breathtaking.

With Imperfect Arrangement, Vikki Jay gives us a romance that’s as passionate as it is poignant. The ending is a warm hug to the heart, wrapping up a story that’s equal parts fire and feels. Don’t miss this one—Ray, Willow, and Quill will steal your heart.

The enemies to lovers vibes is strong between Ray and Willow. Like seriously so strong that it’s such a slow burn between them I was wondering when they would finally kiss. They both were already so far gone for each other and sweet little Quill that they were only fooling themselves especially Willow. She kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and when it never did she ran as fast as she could away not trusting in what Ray and Quill had shown her day in and day out. Ray the businessman is a shark but Ray the dad is a softie and he would do anything for Quill and when he sees that she spoke to Willow he knew it was time to put aside all their differences and he showed his hand and it eventually led to him falling faster for Willow because of the bond she’s formed with Quill.

Quill is such a sweet little girl and her bond with Ray and with Willow are so important to a little girl who’s lost so much. Her selective muteness makes her unique and entirely her own and makes those who love her love her even more especially when she shares her voice with them.

I’m excited for the next book in this series and for the second generation of Teager cousins to find their happily ever afters.

MMC Raymond is a take no prisoners type of businessman and single dad to a special needs daughter Quill. Quill doesn’t speak and communicates via ASL. Raymond had tried everything he can think of and hired all the experts, but no one can get to the bottom of why Quill doesn’t (or won’t) speak. FMC Willow is headstrong, determined, and has a heart of gold. Willow and Raymond, of course, can’t stand each other because Raymond wants Willow’s grandfather’s land and Willow refuses to sell. Willow has a dream of transforming the property into a rustic wedding venue. Raymond wants to build another hotel to expand his empire. One thing leads to another and Willow meets Quill. Surprisingly, Quill speaks to Willow, and only to Willow. When Raymond learns Quill spoke to Willow, he has to know why, so he agrees to make a deal with Willow and partner up with her for her wedding venue idea. The catch is that Willow must become Quill’s new nanny. Another wrinkle is that the pair must fake an engagement, which of course leads to very real feelings. Raymond falls hard and fast once he opens up, but Willow doesn’t do serious relationships. Eventually she realizes Raymond is perfect for her.

This was a great story. It was well written and the slow-burn of Raymond and Willow’s relationship was worth it!

Imperfect Arrangement by Vikki Jay is a heartfelt and engaging billionaire marriage of convenience romance that skillfully balances emotional depth with sizzling chemistry. The story follows Charles and Daisy, whose love-hate dynamic brings plenty of tension and warmth to the narrative.

What I appreciated most about this book was how it managed to be deeply emotional without feeling overly cheesy, making the characters’ journey feel authentic and relatable. The secondary characters make enjoyable appearances that enrich the story without overshadowing the main romance. Vikki Jay’s writing is smooth and immersive, drawing readers into the complexities of Charles and Daisy’s imperfect yet compelling relationship.

While the plot follows familiar tropes, the execution feels fresh, and the emotional stakes keep the story engaging from start to finish. The blend of heartfelt moments and steamy scenes creates a satisfying balance that fans of the genre will appreciate.

Overall, Imperfect Arrangement is a solid four-star read for those who enjoy billionaire romances with a mix of angst, humor, and genuine connection. It’s a great addition to Vikki Jay’s repertoire and definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a romance that’s both passionate and heartfelt.

Oh my heart. I was not ready for Raymond, Quill and Willow. This gorgeous fake fiance, single dad, billionaire romance had my heart in a chokehold. There may have been a few tears at how gorgeous this love story ended.

If you've read the previous book, you will have already met Raymond and Quill. Quill is the daughter he didn't know about and is now the only parent for. She is a delight but comes to him with emotional trauma and selective mutism. He loves her with his whole heart and will do anything to help and support her.

Willow is the sparky and determined businesswoman pitted against Raymond in a business deal. It is hatred at first boardroom clash. However, with this level of emotion, it can only mean they are destined for explosive chemistry. Their attraction and connection is a slowburning tease. But once the match is lit, these two are super heated.

I won't go in to too much detail about the story as there are so many layers and levels of detail. It is a beautifully engaging, heart consuming, he falls first romance with a soul deep connection with such a well earned HEA.

“I liked Willow’s reading. But before sleeping, I want my dad’s voice.”

Book: imperfect arrangement

Book is Out now!

Imperfect Arrangement is the second book in a series and I loved the first one.

This book is about Ray, a single dad, cold-blooded businessman with a heart of gold. Willow is creative, fierce and wants to make her grandfather's dream come true. The two find themselves in a workplace - fake engagement situation.

„Yet here he is, all sculpted muscles and masculine perfection, like he just stepped out of an ad for an upscale gym.“

This book made me laugh with its funny situations—I grinned a lot. There were also many situations that were just plain cute—Quill is such a wonderful daughter.
And then there were the many parts that made my heart ache. It was heartbreaking, intense, and at times, just plain sad.

I would like to recommend this book to everyone who likes stories that sometimes hurt, but you know that in the end there is the HEA. This book gets 5 ⭐️ and 🌶️🌶️.

Raymond in protective and sweet dad mode is so hot. Similarly, when he is the “Shark” in the corporate setting too. Despite the initial animosity between Raymond and Willow, all is swept aside when he realises that she is the only one who is able to get through to his young daughter, Quill.

That sparks the start of their arrangement, with Willow moving in as full time nanny to Quill in exchange for her chance at developing a wedding estate on her grandfather’s land. As time goes by, they soon start to see another side of each other—beyond the professional facade.

I loved how the story’s trajectory changes when Raymond finally decides to go all out to win over Willow. She has been through so many disappointments courtesy of the different men in her life that it is difficult for her to trust that what they have will end well.

The last act was painful to read but I loved how cute, little Quill ends up playing a major role on in their Happy Ever After. The secret which Raymond kept also truly proved that he is truly Mr Nice Guy underneath his grumpy exterior.

This book is so good! I could not put it down. Between the tension and banter between Willow and Raymond then sweet little Quill there was no way this was going to be less than a five star read for me. Quill stole my heart right from the very beginning. Raymond may come off as a shark in business and a surly attitude he becomes a puddle of mush for his daughter. That's the side that does Willow in. That brilliant billionaire lets his soft side win out when it comes to Quill. I love the instant bond between Willow and Quill. You know Raymond is a great dad when he turns his whole life around and brings the least likely person into his home. This book has one of my absolute favorite tropes single dad/nanny. One that I can never resist reading. This has now moved up to one of my top ten reads of the year. Trust me I've already read 101 books so far this year. This is a book you do not want to end. All the heart and feels was one my favorite things about this book. When you read this one get ready to really fall in love along with the characters. This is a must read!

This was a awesome story. I loved it from the start. Willow was definitely a take no prisoners type of girl. She and her grandfather has a dream to open a wedding venue and she was determined to do it. No matter who stands in her way.

Especially not the arrogant billionaire Raymond Teager.

Raymond seems to be enjoying the time his spending with Willow, even if he doesn't want to admit it.
But when his little girl seems to form a bond with her, he will do anything for his little girl. Even making her an offer she can't refuse...

I loved their banter. Willow becoming Quill's nanny wasn't in her plans but the offer was too good to refuse and she was becoming attached to Quill. The shy little girl was going through a hard time and I loved that Raymond would do anything for her, he definitely put her first.

The story had some enemies to lovers vibe, love, laughter, adorable moments and definitely some amazing chemistry between Willow and Raymond. Loved this single dad romance and totally recommend it🥰

REVIEW: Imperfect Arrangement By: Vikki Jay

Absolutely loved Quill, Raymond's daughter, who we first met in Imperfect Match. I thought this was such a sweet book and loved to see the evolution of Willow’s relationship with Quill and how her and Raymond’s views of one another shifted throughout the different milestones.

I had read the first book of this series and really liked it and wanted to see how the series progressed even though it had a couple of tropes that are usually lower on my TBR list (small town, single dad, boss/nanny). I am so glad that I did. I thought this story was very heartfelt without being too cheesy. I also like having the secondary characters pop up, but not detract from the story.

I am very excited to see how the set up for the next book plays out based on the little easter eggs that were dropped!

wow, this book is so beautiful and emotional!

Raymond is known for being 'The Shark' in business, but when it comes to his little girl, Quill, he becomes an absolute softie! Even though Quill has only been with him for 6 months and hasn't spoken a word, he loves her so much!
Willow is self-reliant and fights for what she believes in! She goes up against Raymond to keep hold of her grandfather's land and create her vision of a wedding venue!
However, things change when Quill meets Willow and starts opening up to her and talking, so Raymond does the only thing he can and that's hire Willow as Quill's nanny in hope that it encourages her to open up more!
This story is beautiful and emotional and I absolutely loved it! I am looking forward to book 3 and Rowan's story, I feel it will be another emotional one!
