Apparently it’s a duet. I didn’t know that so I read it. Usually I don’t read incomplete series because I got bad memory so I prefer reading all the books right away so there was no gap. This shuckzzz.
This was about the youngest Del Rossa sibling. I didn’t read any of the previous books so I didn’t know the lore of the series but I understand most of the things that was happening here without reading those books. I almost read Alexius’ book but I think there were some pet peeves of mine there so I avoided it like a plague. Thankfully this one was safe for me. No sharing, no threesome before the h meet the H, no promiscuous MCs which was great.
The ending was quite something. But I think Anthony ain’t dead. But idk, will be reading the next one when it came out for sure.

Eccoci giunti al nono volume, dedicato stavolta al piccolo di casa Del Rossa: Isaia.
Piccolo di età, ma tra tutti i fratelli lui è in realtà il più crudele, il più oscuro e il più pericoloso.
«Isaia è il genere di persona che non si lascia niente alle spalle. Una volta che ti entra dentro, ti possiede: corpo, mente e anima.»
Questo romanzo, a confronto degli altri, è strutturato in maniera differente. Parte infatti molto più lento, dove ci sono degli "appuntamenti". Isaia passa più tempo a casa di Everly che a casa sua, tant'è che suo fratello Alexius inizia ad essere contrariato per la sparizione continua del fratello.
Questo cambiamento dell'autrice mi piace perché ha reso la storia più emozionante e ricca di suspence.
Riuscirà Isaia a far capitolare Everly senza usare il metodo del rapimento per farla sua?
La scrittura dell'autrice è incredibile, che come sempre è una scoperta. Avendo letto tutti i suoi libri posso dire che le sue storie non sono mai ripetitive e ha sempre idee originali.
Con la sua scrittura riesce a coinvolgere il lettore creando dipendenza. Per me Bella J. è come una droga, tanto che non riesco a farne a meno, e quando leggo devo impormi uno stop.
Isaia, tra tutti i fratelli, è quello che mi ha emozionato di più nonostante io abbia un debole per Caelian.
L'amore che prova Isaia nei confronti di Everly è incredibile, potente e folle.
Un romanzo intenso, adrenalinico, ricco d'azione e dal finale sconvolgente.

I KNEW IT! Yes that was meant to be in capital letters because anyone that drives a yellow ferrari and sends out happy go lucky vibes will most definitely be the most unhinged in the group. I couldn't wait to get Isaia story because I knew it was going to be balls to the wall epic proportions. This man will have you eating up them pages, have you losing sleep.
Everly who's fighting her own demons, tries her best to not fall under his radar. But sure as the sun rises and sets, she ends up on it. Everly brought out all the sides of Isaia. I was even afraid for his bros. This man would burn everything in his path to get to his girl. His only focus is Everly. Could not put this one down. I enjoyed every page of it. Bella J has done it again. Each book in this series gets better and better.

I’ll be the first to admit this book/series is not for the faint of heart. If you’re looking for romance filled with sunshine and roses, these books are not for you. But if you are looking for dark, delicious and totally decadent storylines these hop aboard. I highly recommend reading the series in order as the basic background story flows from book to book.
Isaia isn’t an easy man. He’s not like his brothers, he doesn’t thrive on power and intimidation. But he does know his duty and knows how to play his part in the Dark Sovereign. But when his path crosses with a beauty that turns out to be a part of a rival family, will he believe her or his brothers? Can he convince them of her innocence or is she a plant there to reel them all in?
The book held me captive from start to finish and in true Bella J fashion it ends on a cliffhanger. But boy oh boy this reader can’t wait to see what happens next.

He is the best possessive psychotic jealous MMC. All the red flags. But there's something about him, you know? Oooh weee!

For all of those Del Rossa men fans out there, Isaia is going to blow your minds!!!
This dirty talking, obsessive, possessive bad boy should come with a panty-melting warning. Holy fudge he’s freaking hot!
I couldn’t wait to read Isaia’s book and let me tell you that it was MORE then I ever anticipated. Every moment of Isaia and Everly’s story consumed me.
Isaia Del Rossa may have brought Alexius down a notch in my book boyfriend favourites. Just when I thought that his brothers Nicoli and Caelian were the naughtiest dirty talkers…nope, Isaia wins hands down😮
As strong of a character Isaia is, I really enjoyed Everly. I like that even though she’s a sweetheart, she won’t be push around and her tenacity is impressive.
I love how much these two characters burn for one another and how fascinating, interesting and alluring their story is.
Why can’t we get enough of these Del Rossa men?? They’re like the most delicious tasting chocolate you have ever had the pleasure of devouring.
So if you want to escape into a dark mafia romance filled with angst, twist and turns, passionate spicy scenes, engaging family dynamics, amusing Del Rossa bantering and a unhinged, completed desire driven bad boy who would burn the entire world for the women he calls “Mine or Troublemaker”, you will be thoroughly satisfied, greatly captivated and deeply enticed by Isaia!

I really liked Anthony as Everly's friend for the way he didn't back down. Yes, he's also from an equally powerful mafia family and I sometimes did doubt his intentions but you couldn't help but like this man who was amazing in his own way.
This book was a Wild ride that grabbed me strongly in its clutches from that first page and HONESTLY IT'S ANOTHER REMINDER OF WHY I'M OBSESSED WITH BELLA J BOOKS... because the way she writes her stories, with heroes that dance a thin line of morally right and to heck with it Wrongs - Sometimes those lines blur, but what makes me totally IN... ALLL IN is the way Bella J makes me sing for that same hero who's being justifiably the Morally Gray King from page 1.
I was so on edge for those last pages, turning them like crazy AND HONESTLY THE TWISTS... ONE AFTER ANOTHER... To say I was shocked is the least.
I WAS LIKE WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED😯😳😱😱😱... I was so freaking SHOCKED.
Ahhh... I need freaking more... Especially after that ending but also there's so much happening that I can't wait to get my hands on the next book... I really liked Anthony as Everly's friend for the way he didn't back down. Yes, he's also from an equally powerful mafia family and I sometimes did doubt his intentions but you couldn't help but like this man who was amazing in his own way.
This book was a Wild ride that grabbed me strongly in its clutches from that first page and HONESTLY IT'S ANOTHER REMINDER OF WHY I'M OBSESSED WITH BELLA J BOOKS... because the way she writes her stories, with heroes that dance a thin line of morally right and to heck with it Wrongs - Sometimes those lines blur, but what makes me totally IN... ALLL IN is the way Bella J makes me sing for that same hero who's being justifiably the Morally Gray King from page 1.
I was so on edge for those last pages, turning them like crazy AND HONESTLY THE TWISTS... ONE AFTER ANOTHER... To say I was shocked is the least.
I WAS LIKE WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED😯😳😱😱😱... I was so freaking SHOCKED.
Ahhh... I need freaking more... Especially after that ending but also there's so much happening that I can't wait to get my hands on the next book... WOW ANOTHER INCREDIBLE BOOK!! Bella J knows how to write a book with a man who has the filthiest mouth and will leave you wanting to start smoking and sit in a very cold shower to recover 😂

I was sent this incredible book a few weeks ago and I have read it about 3 times already it's so good!!!
Isaias story has been one that I've been waiting to read since I first read Alexius because he just intrigued me so much!! He was the cheeky, quiet one with a big heart but also had that dark edge about him, he stood out to the others because he seemed to be different to his brothers.
I CAN SAY WITH GREAT CONFIDENCE THAT THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT!!!!
Now I was Team Nicoli, I love all 5 Del Rossa Brothers (cannot forget Maximo can we!) But Nicoli was the one who I thought was my favourite. Well that was until I read Isaias book!!!!! He is hands down my favourite!!!
Caelian and Nicoli both were amazing smutty talkers but ISAIA 🥵🥵🥵🥵 his mouth should come with a warning label!!!
This book was completely different to the other brothers stories because of how Isaia and Everly met, how their story is told is completely different and I absolutely loved that.
Everly is absolutely lovely and I really loved her throughout this story, she's quiet and appears to be this timid little mouse but she's got fire and she stands up for herself and won't be pushed around.
Isaia is obsessive, unhinged, unapologetically possessive and will do ANYTHING to keep Everly.
I wouldn't say it's exactly a slow burn but there's definitely a build up of tention between Isaia and Everly for a while but my god it's absolute perfection when you get to the 😉😈
You see the brothers relationship a fair bit in this book and I loved seeing Alexius and Isaias relationship more. The banter between Isaia and Caelian carries on from the previous books and it was hilarious 😂
The spice was 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 Bella J definitely knows how to write a Spicy scene!!!!

Alexius, Nicoli, and Caelian Del Rossa are all dominant, protective, and filthy mouthed men, but they have nothing on their youngest brother Isaia. This yellow Ferrari driving Del Rossa is filth at its filthiest, powerfully dominant, and over-the-top protective and ultra obsessive. I wouldn't have wanted him any other way ... he was delicious. Everly Beaumont wanted nothing more than to escape the mafia world, and she was succeeding until Isaia walked into her life. I adored Everly, while being an absolute sweetheart she was also tenacious, no walkover, and wasn't afraid to voice her opinions. She never stood a chance when it came to Isaia and his determination to have her. Their chemistry was incredible, and their heat was volcanic, but it was their banter which I couldn't get enough of.
Bella J brings back all the Del Rossa dynamics, the spice, the banter, the bossiness, the dominance, and the protective nature. Isaia is a man who will destroy everything and everyone who stands in the way of him having Everly, his "Troublemaker Angel". Isaia and Everly's journey is a wild one, there's plenty going on and of course it ends in a cliffhanger which had my jaw dropping. His Angel , their continuing story can't come soon enough.

My history with this author is hot and cold. I gave it a 3 because I may not have liked the characters or the plot, but the author's writing and editing skills are solid whether it is a book I like or not. This plot has been told numerous times successfully, while this story completely missed the mark for me.
This author has a pattern with her MFC whereas they start out strong, smart, savvy only to reduce them to a character that makes terrible decisions, weak victims of their own making and unable to resolve or look at an issue that doesn't result in collateral damage for innocents, aka her fiancé and friend. Everly's character had allot of promise until she didn't. Lying and failing to disclose important facts and truths is another form of lying. Her step father was scum and her mother was easily the "reason" for Michele to trap Everly into a marriage. I didn't care for her mother; she was just another discarded female character in one of these stories where their worth is no longer relevant, other than to use them as blackmail or leverage.
Isaia was an obsessive maniac that had few attributes other than his obsession with Everly. There was a piece of him at times that revealed a different character, but wasn't enough for me to want to know more about him. I felt if Everly had been more truthful with Isaia that this story could have taken a different turn, just as interesting, but not down a bottomless rabbit hole. I've read many dark demented male characters in these books that resonated with me, while Isaia's character did not. This author's books are very long and have a tendency to be repetitive with little advancement in the story which I find annoying. Many people loved this book and this author, where I am still on the fence and will approach future new releases with added caution.

The youngest......
Isaia is the 9th installment in the Dark Sovereign Series and it can be read as a standalone, ending in a brutal cliffy , although I would suggest to read the books in order for a better comprehensiom of the background and architecture of liasons.
Isaia is the youngest Del Rossa, 26, lives the life on his own terms, one he wasn't born for but was toughened up to be...stealth, observer and lethal, he does the job as a Del Rossa and chooses not to feel, because the burden would be too much.
In the unlikely event...a fre@king meet-cute happens and Isaia experiences embarassment, attitude and wittiness, finds doubts and a lot of suspicion, loses his patience, his temper and eventually, his heart.
Everly, 21, bubly, dog girl, free-spiritted and opinionated, doesn't know where she's going, but does know where she ain't, as does how impressed she became with the rough around the edges black-eyed man her dog decided to trap.....
The Del Rossas stand above, knowing at every corner might be a potencial threat and absolutely nothing is coincidential, so the order is to keep tabs....
Isaia and Everly's connection is astoundly visceral, impetuous, undiluted and even his suspicions and the mystery blanketing her stay in Chicago, don't deviate their intense attraction, Isaia's means of achievement and Everly internal conflicts between wills, wants and volition to act and most of all, how safe is she.
Very energetic and fast-paced, the narrative runs in a high-octane, adrenaline-fuelled succession of events, peril, blackmail and coerced capitulation where whites lies turn into the bl00d-stained truth of reality.
Oh Everly...I wouldn't want to be in your shoes....

2.5 stars. OTT mafia romance with decent plot. ( I forgot that I started reading book one in this series awhile ago and stopped after reading the reviews. Brothers sharing their whores and even the heroines. No thanks.) Isaia doesn’t share Everly (yet) and there’s another suitor who’s interested in her, so I was interested enough to finish the book, albeit skimming some. Everly makes a really dumb decision in the end (of course) but I will probably read next book to find out what happens.
This scene is what triggered my memory to the first book (Alexius/Leandra)- The rage in his eyes as he fucked Leandra in front of me, making her scream, marking her as his. He thought I loved her. For a while, I thought so too. But while he forced me to watch him fuck her, desperate to prove a point—the point being that Leandra belongs to him—I sat there bleeding, watching him take her, and my cock was rock fucking hard.
Then we has this scene when Everly first meets Isaia’s brothers and their wives- Leandra, Alexius’s wife, steps forward next. She’s regal in an almost intimidating way, but her smile softens her sharp features. “Isaia’s plus-one. You’re braver than I thought.” “Braver?” I ask, my brow arching. “Isaia’s a handful,” she replies, shooting him a knowing look. “But I suppose you already know that.” There’s no mistaking the edge in her tone—something I can’t quite place. Very classy, Leandra. Considering how much you got off on Isaia in previous books. 🤮Will be interesting to see how Everly reacts to the brothers/wives sexual pasts, if she ever finds out. Oh, and the details of their sex club. 🙄

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the first book in a duet inside the Dark Sovereign world. It is the story of Isaia and Everly. Isaia is the enforcer. The one they call when the job needs to be done. But he is also the youngest of the DelRossa brother's.. He has always felt a little like an outsider in the family because his brothers seem to take to this life like it is second nature and he doesn't. When he meets Everly the first thing that draws him to her are her unique eyes. She literally runs into him and he gets tangled in her dogs leash and he is not a dog person and her is a drooling menace according to him. I loved her personality so much. She is also a girl who doesn't stay in one place to long. She is in a way running from a stepfather she never wanted and one that wants things from her that shes not willing to give. She just wants her life and her freedom. Even if that means not staying in one place to long.She too is interested in Isaia from the moment she sees him, but is afraid to let him get too close. She knows who he is and what his life entails and her father is certainly not his family's friend. That's about all I can say about this book. I love every single second of this book. The prologue will suck you in and have to reading to find out what is going on. I was glued to this book and devoured it. This is a book that you do not want to miss. Now I just have to sit and patiently wait for His Angel to see what is going to happen.

Bella J has a talent for edge of your seat, dark and delicious gripping books. Each book in the dark sovereign series is unique, yet all pull together to create a world that you wish you were part of. The men are bossy, protective, possesive, charming but so dark that they each have certain traits that drive you crazy.
Isaia, is a broody 26 year old who doesn't really love the mafia world he was born into, not like his older brothers but he accepts and embraces the life. Meeting Everly changes him, she enters his life in a whirlwind. Her easy going, lovable nature makes him pause, his intense personality is not used to light and chatty young women. Bella really outdid herself with Isaia’s story. You really need to start with Alexius before reading Isaia. It’s always the quiet, seemingly nice ones you have to watch out for. While Nicoli is my king and owns my heart, Isaia carved out a place in my heart that is just his. Didn’t think it would happen, but he did it. What do you expect from a dirty talking, naughty, yellow Ferrari driving man. You may think you know Isaia from the other books, but you don’t. While he is the baby of the family, he certainly has his naughtiness 😈 in top form. This was packed with suspense, shocks, emotions all over the place and twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. Everly better watch out. The chemistry between these two is explosively hot. 🥵 OMGOSH!! If you want sunshine, rainbows, and unicorns, this book is not for you. It is dark and oh so delicious. The ending shocked the living crap out of me. I was like…what!! 😳 I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and absolutely hooked from the beginning to the end. If you like dark, dirty-talking heroes, this book is for you. I love these Del Rossa men. Buckle up buttercup, you’re in for quite the ride. Whooooo!!! 😈❤️🔥😈❤️🔥

Story was just fine. Nothing really made it stand out. It was as basic as every other mafia romance. The predictions for the second book are also easy to guess (which I can point out when I get to it).
I'm disappointed because the beginning of the series (Alexius, His Wife, and Unraveled) was enjoyable to me. Alexius was not in his thirties like every other mafia guy, he wasn't abused, he had a good upbringing despite the world he grew up in. But he was still ruthless in getting what he wanted and manipulative when he needed to be. Leandra wasn't a naive little girl thinking she'll only marry for love, hard work is all she needs, that she has a lot of chances despite her situation, and she didn't accept the money for some moral cause. She accepted it to improve her life. She even admits to being jealous of the rich but having to pretend not to be for her own sanity.
Everything since their story has been stupid characters (Mira), thoughtless (Caelian), or unimaginative. I miss the days when everything wasn't a series and authors took their time actually writing a story unique to their characters e.g., Larissa Ione, Kresley Cole, Lora Leigh, etc.

My new favourite brother!! Wow, wow and just wow!
I feel like I've waited a thousand years for this book and it did not disappoint 😍
Isaia always interested me in the other Dark Sovereign books, but I never knew he'd be so absolutely OTT, but I am so here for it.
He is everything I love in a MMC, just OTT and crazy. The "touch my girl and die" kinda guy, just pure yum!!
Also can we talk about Everly! My dream FMC is a book worm barista ( with V cards) but also feisty as fudge and it's like Bella J reached into my brain took this information and delivered the most perfect FMC to date.
I absolutely adore Everly, especially how she can hold her own again Isaia.
The banter between them was perfect ❤️
I read this book in one day and I don't regret a minute of it. I only regret that now I have to wait till April for the next one!

I’ve loved all the Del Rossa Brothers. But the one who intrigued and piqued my interest was Isaia.
The brother who was different from his siblings. In subtle ways but with a big impact.
And now his book is in my hands.
Absolutely loved his story!
What a complex and fascinating character he is. So much more to him than what meets the eye.
Everly won me over right away. She’s sassy and feisty. Doesn’t back down. And is a strong willed young lady. She has a mind of her own and knows exactly what she wants and doesn’t want.
The energy and vibe between her and Isaia is just so freaking intense and electrifying.
Their chemistry is incredible and just keeps getting more powerful with each encounter.
The passion and lust with them sizzles off the pages!
Their story is fast paced, gripping and throughly captivating.
And that cliffhanger is having me demand the next book, His Angel right now!

The way these Mmc and his brothers objectifies every woman is bit disturbing to read as if women in their life are only for them to fuck.
This MMC has a troubled history with the first book Mmc's of this series. He kissed his brother's wife, watched them having sex, if that wasn't messed up enough then his brother was okay sharing his Wife initially. Kinda Exhibitionism ...I find exhibitionism acceptable only with, voluntary consent but letting the family members to watch the show is a BIG FAT NO.
I hadn’t read the first book, but there was a chapter where the MMC recalled some exhibitionist stuff so I figured I should check out the first one just to be safe so I paused it.. After reading the first book, I realized all the brothers are pretty much jerks who treat women like they're disposable. They share one women to every brothers (written in that book) and all are fucking manwhores but the irony is these assholes get the virgin Fmc's. GROSS!!!
