A really great introduction to a variety of philosophical topics and problems. Written in a clear and simple language. Very easy to follow especially when compared to source materials.

Great introductory text. not a cover to cover read for me as it's not really that kind of book. I dipped in and out and enjoyed what I read. The section on practical ethics was my favourite. Sadly, because it's a text following a set curriculum that doesn't include Eastern philosophy, the focus on Western philosophy and Christianity becomes tiring after a while. A wider perspective would have improved it.
