Best birthday present EVAH. And I'm only *slightly* exaggerating.

I went from not watching to watching casually to being outright obsessed with this show and this book is the perfect companion. It was a fun insight into how the Gladiators train (a fupping lot) and how the show is made. I now know that Giant is too...giant to play The Edge and that Assistant Referee Lee Phillips designed the tests for the show and my life is a lot fuller for these snippets that I have relentlessly shared with my family.

The highlight though? "If you see me in a supermarket doing my shopping, you'll notice that I happen to be an incredible shopper."

I would have loved this book when I was a kid! It's got so much great behind the scenes information, with information about each event, and each gladiator. It's got lots of well put together content, it feels like a properly extensive book rather than a cheap annual cash-in style book.
Each gladiator is presented as their character rather than the actual person, so it won't break the illusion for children, and you'll have fun reading the bits about Viper and Legend, which are as entertaining as the show itself, especially the "which gladiator are you" quiz,
200+ pages, well worth it and a great gift for a Gladiators fan.

I know I wish I was,
this book was an epic guide for gladiator fans.

My favourite page was about viper with no doubts.
The entire book was amazing I have read it more times than I can count.

Easy to read. I read a few pages each night before I went to sleep and it always put a smile on my face. My favourite tv show at the moment.
