Damn universe led me to my grumpy boss's hard length. Now I'm stuck in a fake marriage with his baby in my belly.
I took a job to help me clear my debt.
Crap!
The rude, sexy Silverfox I told off at the cafe — is my new boss!
I got this, I can stay professional.
But those deep blue eyes, muscular arms straining against his Dr's coat, and that impressive bulge in his slacks made it tough.
He knew it and made a power move by announcing,
"We were married!"
I help him secure a deal, and he clears my debt.
Only business.
Yeah right!
Nothing professional about having my panties around my ankles while my boss pounds the life out of me.
The way he ravaged me in bed and the way I squirmed every time he tasted me.
I’m addicted to his flesh as he dominates my mind and body.
Everything was going our way until his psycho ex popped up and threatened toblow our cover.
If he goes down, I go down. I should've known better than to play wifey with a powerful billionaire CEO, especially when I haven't told him about the two pink lines.

After Jill best’s friend left her to live with her boyfriend,Jill had to pay the bills alone and she can’t efford with the salary of waitressing. So her friend asked her boyfriend if he can ask his best to give her a job in his hospital. She got the job as a personal assistant of Dr.Payne, before work she went to take a coffee and there was a queue at that moment entered a gorgeous man who skipped the queue and she didn’t left him without saying nothing she called him names. Then she went at the big moment when she went to the office of her new boss she couldn’t believe that her boss was nothing more than the guy she fought with.
This is a great book I enjoyed reading. I recommend to everyone who loves reading romance
Byron initially acts in a way that gets under Jill's skin, but little did she know that he is actually her new boss. When an announcement is made that they are married, not only is she shocked, but she can't resist the temptation. The story and chemistry between them were heated and captivating. Some complications and misunderstandings really added another depth to the plot that exploited their true emotions, which was fantastic. It was a definite satisfactory read.

WOW this was another amazing story. The book cover was steamy of hotness. It was a page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. It was addicted. This romance between them was sexual tension and the chemistry was too hot and the physical attraction was like a rollercoaster ride of drama and passion. Could this be love affair that they had no control over as they might fight temptation. I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review. I enjoyed this book. I really loved Jill and Byron and their story. Who doesn't like staring at an Adonis, only to find he's a douche? Hah, their banter is awesome. I felt the tension between them from just reading. The spice level is decent, because there is nothing wrong with a sweet, steamy romance. Also, the Kauro Kojima. Wise wise woman! She was also a favorite of mine! Oh and the location...First one of the books I read set in Tennessee. I like!
Read it. There is humor and laughter to be had with these two!
If I had a boss that looked like the cover and sounds HOT like Byron, I would say take me now please. :) This age gap enemies to lover's romance book is EXHILARATING HOT with EXCEPTIONAL word building. The characters really make this book come to life and it delivers some SPICE, PASSION, LUST and HEATED DESIRE. WOW what a book to read and swoon over Byron in a HUGE way.
Faking it with My Bosshole is truly a beautiful love story of enemies to lovers. Jill's determination to prove herself is truly admirable and inspiring, and when it comes to the spice, A.L. DeRose doesn't hold back, if you know what I mean. Faking it With My Bosshole takes the term "fake it till you make it" to a whole new meaning. This was truly a beautiful masterpiece and love story.
A steamy, enemies to lovers, fake marriage between two polar opposites. Jill the happy go lucky sunshine and Byron the grumpy doctor. Loved the dynamics, the drama and the steam. I have read many books by this author and they never fail to capture my attention with these amazing stories. Great hea and the spice was very nice.
Enjoyable Yarn with the obligatory HEA. Jill’s eccentricity enamoured poor Byron after a less than stellar introduction. The tale weaves round a story of deception and mistruths. The reality coming to a head at the end. Well told.

The relationship between Jill & Byron is complicated. The banter between them was entertaining, making the novel a fast read for me. They were well developed. I became attached to both of them, rooting for them to make it in the end, HEA. Overall, it was an easy, enjoyable read.
Set aside two days for this steamy contemporary urban enemies-to-lovers second-chance fake marriage romance in Tennessee, mostly in Nashville where artist Jill Eleanor Mettler struggles to make ends meet.

Who doesn't love an enemies-to-lovers grumpy sunshine bosshole story? After a rough day on both their parts, Jill and Byron were seemingly destined to be together. One fake relationship and a bitter ex later, can they make it work, or were they doomed from the beginning?
One of the best gifts that life can provide is a good friend, and so Jill Eleanor Mettler, an ethereal beauty with long, deep red hair, stormy blue-gray eyes and a pale complexion that seems to attract freckles, knows that she has been truly gifted with the friendship of Lainey, her apartment-mate and best friend. So, when Lainey meets the love of her life, Bradley, a doctor at the local hospital, and asks sweetly beautiful Lainey to share an apartment, with him Jill can’t begrudge her bestie such love and happiness—especially now. But it does put Jill who is currently under-employed in a difficult situation, especially when Jill is still trying to recover financially when her deadbeat ex left her with his unpaid bills.
So, when Lainey offers to help Jill get a job at the hospital as a PA for Bradley’s fellow doctor—a surgeon and best friend—Byron Atticus Payne, Jill is thrilled. Lainey shares that Byron has been promoted to the position of hospital CEO, but his current PA is not working out. So, trusting Bradley and Lainey’s recommendation, he agrees to allow Jill to “try out” for the newly open position. What the handsome older doctor with salt and pepper hair and piercing blue eyes hadn’t anticipated was his instant physical attraction and repulsion to the classically beautiful redhead. With facial piercing –a lip ring and a nose piercing—marring her otherwise ethereally beautiful face, Byron doesn’t know how to react to her. She causes his world to spin backwards.
A.L Derose weaves a tale of opposites who are both attracted and repulsed by the other’s passions, idiosyncrasies and lifestyle who slowly come to both respect and desire the other. With a story filled with twists and turns, Derose entices the reader to buckle in for the ride as the central characters slowly evolve from antagonists to lovers.
I received a review copy from Booksprout, but purchased a copy for my personal "re-read" collection.
Artsy, free spirit and full of life Jill Mettler, has just been set up with a job by her best friend’s fiancé. This is her first adult job and if she ever wants to be able to pay her bills without a roommate she better make this work. Dr, Bryon Payne, is a prestigious doctor and CEO of his hospital, everything is about organization and structure. He has agreed to help out his friend by giving his fiancée’s best friend a job. Bryon may be an bosshole but there are some wounds in his life that are too sensitive to touch even if they are in the past and that keeps him from moving forward. Now needing to get a donor on board for funding, Dr. Payne tells a lie and ropes Jill in on it. This plan may just work to secure funding or it may blow up in his face. She is after all his best friend’s fiancé friend. This path that Jill takes with Dr. Bryon is an interesting journey, where literal opposites may attract and where annoying habits or personalities may just keep them on your brain longer than you wanted. Great story, well developed characters, steamy scenes and banter, chemistry and tension keeps you wanting more.

FAKING IT WITH MY BOSSHOLE by A.L. DeRose is an age gape, opposite attracts romance with a lot of bumps in the road. This is Jill and Byron’s story and their first meeting in a coffee shop doesn’t go well. But what happens next can only be karma.
Jill and Byron tell their story in alternating chapters and we get to know them a little at a time. He was hard to like at first but I slowly warmed up to him while Jill slowly worked her magic. There are multiple stories being told and they are woven together but the story was sometimes choppy and chaotic.
There’s a lot of romance but also tension, anger, frustrations, exes, tears, adventures, surprises, lies, deceptions, family and friends, steamy moments, loving and love. There is closure with a fairy tale happily ever after that had me saying ah. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Such a disappointment after my first book from this author. The MMC wasn’t a ‘bosshole’ he was just a terrible human. In his first pages he shoves the FMC when he cuts in front of everyone in line, including an old lady using a walker. When the FMC complains he calls her “some nobody” and said she was “Just another insignificant little girl who doesn’t know her place”. I only kept reading because I was hoping for a lot of growth and some groveling but he never even apologized AND she didn’t mind.
The whole work situation didn’t really make much sense either. FMC was hired to work as a janitor but that was switched to hospital CEO’s PA???? Then there’s the MMC, the ceo of a hospital that was dealing with severe budget cuts and layoffs but offered the FMC 4 million dollars to pretend she was his wife, took private flights, owned a mansion and at the end of the book wanted to buy her a castle.

Jill is an artist and since she has been struggling her friend's husband asked a friend to hire her. However, nothing goes as planned. Jill has an encounter with a rude man at a coffee shop just as she was heading to work. It turns out the man is her new boss. Sparks fly between them from the moment they start working together. yet when he is about to lose an investor, he needs for the hospital Bryon lies and says that he and Jill are married but didn't want anyone to know yet. This leads them to a couples retreat with the investor. Its not long before things get very real between them. Will they admit to what they want before its too late?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Super steamy enemies to lovers tale. I really enjoyed this romance between sunshiny Jill and grumpy doctor, Byron. The chemistry between these two is of the charts from their initial fiery encounter in the coffee shop to the great HEA. The road to their happy ending is, however, fairly rocky with misunderstandings and a face from Byron’s past making an unwelcome reappearance. I really liked the way both of the characters are drawn and the reader quickly gets engaged in their relationship. The story keeps the attention all the way through. Not read from this author before, but will definitely be checking out their other novels.
Faking it with My Bosshole is a cute grumpy/ sunshine book. The MFC is down on her luck her and her best friend hooks her up with a job to help her out. Little does she know that she's had a run in with him before. This book is the definition of grumpy/ sunshine - the MMC seems to be incapable of experiencing joy and when it finally starts happening it's a surprise to everyone. The MMC makes a declaration that require the two to have to play nice with each other. There is a third act break up, but it is resolved quickly and with a minimum of fuss. Overall, I would both recommend and reread this book.
Opposites do attract. The not-so-cute meeting between the FMC and MMC sets the scene for the rest of this story then the back and forth banter continues throughout. Byron was not a very likeable character at first but Jill brings out the best in him eventually. It turns out that she is everything that he never knew he wanted and the final few chapters will make you teary. This was an enjoyable read and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I received an ARC for this book - this is my true and honest opinion.
Jill and Byron first meet when he by passes everyone in line for coffee setting Jill off. Little did she know that he was going to be her new boss. Their connection is explosive and when he tells a potential partner that they are married, it starts them along their path and as they navigate their relationship one that is fake begins to feel like anything but that. Will their fake relationship turn into a real one that leads them along the path to happiness. This heartfelt story had me from page one.

Cat’s Stats MMC/FMC- Byron and Jill Genre- Contemporary Romance Tropes- Fake Marriage, Enemies to Lovers, Workplace Romance, Surprise Pregnancy, Grumpy/Sunshine, Bosshole Mewsings This romance was chock full o’ tropes. Despite this, it was fun to see them fall for each other. Bosshole is certainly the word for the MMC, but the FMC is easy to identify with.

This is the story of Byron and Jill. Their story keeps you interested from the beginning. There is enough going on, you go from one moment to the next, and get to do with a bit of drama, fake marriage and enough steam. To find out how their story is, I can only say go read their story and find out for yourself.

This was Byron and Jill’s story. The rude, sexy Silverfox she told off at the cafe—is her new boss! Crap. She can stay professional.
