Despite the danger and scandal surrounding them, their biggest obstacle might be their age. After all, it is more than just a number, and might be the one thing they can’t overcome.
Anise Storm is a USA Today Bestselling author of Contemporary and Dark Romance.
A Southern transplant, Anise is married with children. She has a love of football, shoes, and tall, dark heroes. When not spending time with family or traveling, she can be found either curled up with a good book or writing.
5 stars Anise Storm's Titans series does not disappoint. The intense attraction in Dangerously Yours, an engaging reverse age-gap tale, is palpable and jumps off the page. This book is filled with delicious excitement and features elements of steam, seduction, sin, temptation, drama, desire, heartache, and more. Although he is younger, Noah knows what he wants, even if it means pitting Titan against Titan. Lucy's ex had his chance, and now Noah is determined to take what he desires. Despite juggling three kids and a custody battle, Lucy finds herself unable to deny her attraction to Noah. Even better, she doesn't want to resist, and that's when the fun begins. You definitely don't want to miss this instalment. In fact, make sure to start from the beginning of the series; you won't be disappointed, and you may even find yourself thanking me!
Dangerously Yours is Book 3 in the Titans of Chicago series I was eagerly anticipating the story as well as getting my titans fix yet again. I continue to love how Anise brings the stories to life all about the Titan Way with seduction, secrets, alpha males, age gap, danger with sizzle and spark. I definitely recommend reading this series in order to get to know the characters that are included in each story.
How your world can come apart so easily after being married for 15 years, Lucy (Lulu) has courage enough to say enough is enough with a marriage to a man that is not faithful. All Lucy wants to do is raise her children and be the best mother she can be. Noah is an star football player that is not looking for any relationship, but also knows the Titan way...as he is a Titan himself. Noah knows Lucy for years since her ex is a Titan..but never believed he would be drawn to her to the point she is all he wants. Noah and Lucy grow closer....but when Lucy's ex pose imminent threats towards her, all she can do is try to remain strong for her and her children....she knows that she is not the only one that may be in danger...
This is a great story with a definite roller coaster of emotions...I hope to see more Titans of Chicago in the future.
I had never read anything by this author before, so I thought accepting a free copy of this book would be the perfect introduction.
I'll be blunt: the first 25% of this book made me really angry! Talk about first world problems. "I'm getting divorced, so I have to live in this huge penthouse alone. Boohoo!" Or, "I'm a rich, single, famous quarterback and woman want to sleep with me! Wah!" How about, "They're gorgeous, so I'll just fantasize about them because of the age difference!" Good God… Once they finally stopped all of their darned WHINING, it got good. They would do anything for one another. It really sucked that they felt they had to hide for so long. There was a bunch of really crazy action near the end, too. I didn't see any of that coming… May have been over the top, even. I'll let you decide!
I love that Noah and Lulu's story started slow, it was more realistic since not everyone after a divorce is instant with a new relationship. I loved their story so much it's probably my favorite so far. The chemistry was great and it was well written.
Lucy has spent her entire life being the perfect mother and society wife. That is until her marriage ended and she suddenly found herself alone. Now, she finds herself single with three kids in the middle of a custody dispute. Cade wants the kids and her heart back. Only that's not going to happen, Lucy found that something has happened, and her heart now belongs to someone else, another man all together.
Noah is a star athlete who has just as many notches on their belt as he does wins. He gets what he wants when he wants. He just never imagined that he would want a woman like Lucy. She had been left by another Titan. She's going through the nastiest of divorces. Reality is she should be off limits to him, but he's drawn to what he can't have, and right now, he's like a moth being drawn to a flame.
Now their is a passion ignited that neither of them can ignore, and it burns deeper and deeper between them. And he's falling faster and faster for her, enough to make him want to make him leave his bachelor life in his rear view mirror once and for all.
Even though danger and scandal surrounds them, their biggest challenge might actually be their age difference. After all its not just a number, and it might be the one thing they can't overcome.
This is the 3rd book of the Titans of Chicago series, and I couldn't wait to dive into this book. I love how Anise brings her stories to life and about the Titan Way with seduction, secrets, alpha males, age gap, danger with so much sizzle, and sparks. You have to read this series. I'd read it in order so that you can get to know all the characters in each story.
This story shows how easily your world can come apart after a 15-year marriage, Lucy knows that enough is enough and is done with her cheating spouse and knows that she can't stay. Lucy just wants to raise her kids and be the best mom and role model possible.
Noah is your typical football star who, like most stars, isn't into relationships. He knows the Titan way as he is a Titan himself, so what would you expect. He's known Lucy for years because, of course, her own husband is another Titan.
Noah just never thought that he'd ever be drawn to Lucy for any reason, let alone be drawn to her to the point that she's all he could think about. As they grow closer, Lucy's ex starts to intervene and throws threats at her, and all she can really do is try and stay strong for herself and for her kids. She's smart enough to know that she's not the only one that her ex could hurt.
This is a roller-coaster ride of emotions and a great read and an awesome time. You will not waste time reading this book, and you will not regret reading this series. I would love to see more of the Titans of Chicago in the very, very near future.
Lucy was married with three children. Somehow, her marriage had gone cold. Cade was a Titan who provided her with a lavish life. Over the years, she had learned to never wear her heart on her sleeve. When he came home late on a night she had planned for them to be together, she found lipstick on his shirt collar. She hired a PI and learned he had at least 4 mistresses. She filed for divorce, gaining full custody and their home in the temporary order. However, Cade threatened to take the children from her. She needed a job to keep the home and take care of her children.
Lucy realized she could become an interior designer. Lucy had a prestigious client that could make or break her career. The afternoon of the event, she discovered a leak in the roof of the venue. Stepping outside, Lucy didn't know what she was going to do.
While outside, Noah came out of a gum next door and saw her. He walked into the venue and came up with a plan that saved her client. Noah felt an instinctual need to protect Lucy. He knew that she was divorcing Cade, and when Cade began bringing his new girlfriend around, Noah felt he could move on from his attraction with Lucy. Despite his best efforts, Lucy seemed hesitant to engage in a relationship. However, his persistence won her over and they started an illicit relationship that they kept secret. However, would their relationship alter their future happiness forever?
Tension builds throughout this story. Noah's determination to prove to Lucy that she was still attractive was impressive. I could empathize with Lucy's predicament. After spending over a decade with the same person and keeping up the appearance for Cade's public reputation, her devastation at his betrayal was understandable. I liked how Anise Storm made the characters relatable and fully developed their individual personalities. The inclusion of how the children viewed the change in their lives was realistic and added depth to the story. This steamy romance novel was unpredictable. This has definitely earned a stellar five stars and has become a favorite series in my library.
And the next Chicago Titan to fall is… Noah. However his story is a but more complicated than others. Dangerously Yours is the 3rd book featured in the Chicago Titans Series. By an author I love! In a series I love. This time the author gives the reader an age gap romance with a twist. Noah finds himself in the middle of a bitter divorce. A divorce between a woman he desires and one of his elder fellow Chicago Titans. Lucy knew she couldn’t stay. How dare Cade betray her in this way. Though as a titan wife she knew of infidelity among other couples in this elite group, but never thought it would hit her doorstep. Cade wasn’t even remorseful, he was other for blood. To make her life miserable all because she kicked him out and now they are getting divorced. When she happens upon Noah she doesn’t know what to expect, he’s a lot younger than her and a titan as well, but she can’t deny the attraction she feels towards him. Will she act on her feelings? Noah is Chicago’s football teams hotshot quarterback and a Chicago Titan in his own right. However he’s different than other men in his elite society. Him and his closest titan friends were raised to respect and care for others, to not just throw them to the side. Which is why he felt Cade was a fool. Lucy did things to him that he never thought possible. And he made it a point to help Lucy pick up the pieces. She just needs to get past the age difference. Reminding her it’s just a number he shows her what life could be. However not everything is sunshine and roses? There’s evil lurking in the wings that doesn’t want to see Lucy happy. Will they be able to survive anything that comes their way? Anyone who has read these books knows nothing is cut and dry. There’s always something that puts the reader on the edge of their seat. This book is no different. You don’t need to read the whole series to read this book, but I strongly suggest you go back and do so once you’ve read Dangerously Yours. You will not in the least be disappointed! Happy Reading!

Lulu, the ever loyal wife to her Titan husband Cade and doting mother to her beautiful children Amanda, Zachary, and Leslie.
She feels her husband pulling away from her, and despite what her friends are telling her, she has her reservations. However, when her suspicions are confirmed, she all but kicks her husband out of their home.
Lulu hits a point in her life. All her hopes and dreams are long gone, and she faces the reality of her situation. Lulu faces an uphill and bittter battle with Cade, not only for her self - worth but her self - identity.
But not all hope is lost as Lulu reinvents herself as an event planner. Her first event is almost a washout until Noah and Gabriel come in and save the day.
Lulu and Noah's attraction is instantaneous. Lulu has reservations, but Noah is a go getter, he knows what he wants, and what he wants is Lulu. However, his friends have reservations about his relationship, but he doesn't because he loves her and she loves him.
Noah watches as Lulu puts on a brave face in public and in private, angry at the way her ex smears her character, making her out to be the one that has done wrong, whilst he flaunts his new lifestyle for the world to see.
But it doesn't stop Noah in his pursuit to woo Lulu. Despite the age difference, she makes him feel things that he has never felt with any other woman before, and every chance he gets, he makes her feel loved, cherished, and beautiful.
Noah's athletic career is everything to him, his livelihood. But when a freak accident takes that away from him, Lulu can't help but feel responsible.
However, when Noah and Lulu begin to connect pieces together, and police officers corroborate their accounts, do they learn that what they endured was premeditated at the hands of her ex, there relationship, having tipped him over the edge. Coming to terms with this devastating news, Lulu must address this issue with her children.
With Cade now no longer an issue, Lulu and Noah are free to explore their relationship further, at first her children weren't on board with the idea, but once they warmed up to him, everything began to free flow. Lulu merging her life with Noah was what Noah needed because he didn't know what he was missing until her.
There happily ever after was bittter sweet, but moreso finally seeing Harper and Gabriel tie the knot. Who knows Callum and Nicole maybe next?
I loved the way Noah worshipped Lulu for the woman she was. He knew what she needed, what she craved, and he happily gave her every ounce of pleasure and passion. He gave her her confidence back, giving her power and control, because her beauty and strength are what made him fall in love with her.
Those smexy scenes were downright steamy, spicy, sinfully hot, dirty, and decadent.
I received an ARC. Therefore, I am submitting a voluntary review.
Highly recommend both the author and the book.

Dangerously Yours ( Titans Of Chicago Book 3 ) well there are no words just no perfect words that could possibly describe the emotional rollercoaster Anise just took me on . To say that I was not prepared for Lucy and Noah’s journey would without a doubt be a huge understatement. Everything Lucy Endured, an unhappy marriage and a husband who was not faithful my heart truly went out to her . And then when she finally found the strength and the courage to move on to say enough is enough I could not stop cheering for her . Noah has known Lucy for years being that her husband or ex husband was a Titan and teammate of his . What neither ever expected was how close they would become , especially since Noah has never been the relationship type . But there’s just such an undeniable pull and connection between them . The more time they spend together the harder they fall . And finally Lucy has the chance to know what it’s like to be with a man why truly adores her , who has her best interests at heart and would do anything to protect her and her children. Intrigue and suspense, drama , secrets, angst , humor , witty banter, obstacles, drama, love , passion, pain , stalkers , reverse age gap , sports romance, wonderfully written characters, family , friendships and so much more . You know that feeling you get when your just about to get on the craziest ride at the amusement park? The feeling of being excited and anxious? The anticipation of what’s going to happen next ? That’s exactly how I felt from the very beginning until the end . I smiled, I laughed, I cried, I even screamed outta pure frustration. What never wavered though was how utterly invested I was and how hard I cheered from start to end
All the Titans of Chicago books are great, but this one might just be the best one of the series. Make sure to check out the trigger warnings before diving in. Lucy is a mother of three going through a divorce from can't keep it in his pants Titan, Cade. He makes life a living nightmare for her during their divorce proceedings but somehow manages to hold it together for her and her kids. She picks herself up, dusts herself off, and keeps on going one day at a time. I feel for her in so many ways. The physical betrayal is not the only way Cade tries to hurt and ruin Lucy. Enter Noah, bad a&& football star, and also a Titan. He comes to her rescue more than once and starts to see her as more than the older woman and ex-wife of another Titan. He sees so much more than an older woman divorcee and begins to consider there may be something more appealing than the one night stand life. The attraction is undeniable and man does this book bring the heat. Keep a fire extinguisher handy to put out the flames from these two! Reverse age gap? Love it. Alpha male? Even better. Swoon worthy sexy as sin man willing to protect his woman from anyone and anything out to cause her harm? Dear Lord, yes. Great main characters , as well as glimpses of the ones we already know and love from the first two books. An unexpected twist toward the end had me on the edge of my seat...did not see that coming. There is so much to love about this book. Do not hesitate to pick this up, but make sure you have some time on your hands because you will not want to put it back down until the end. This was an advanced copy for review.
To put my following review into perspective I have to begin by admitting how much I dislike the whole reverse age gap trope. It's starts with the name itself and ends with the fact that most books within that range are all about the same hang ups and insecurities of the FMC about that age difference. To me it's just no fun because it's about a problem which shouldn't be a problem at all nowadays.
Now, having admitted that, let me share with you how absolutely over the moon I was when I started reading Dangerously Yours.
I can't tell you enough HOW. MUCH. I. LOVED. IT.
This book is so unlike all the other reverse age gap stories I had tried, before deciding it was just not my thing.
Does Lulu have her moments in which she doubts, in which she lets being a bit older than Noah scare her? Yes. BUT. Those moments are so few and far apart that to me it never felt like a huge part or at least not the main point of Dangerously Yours.
This book is so much more than just an age gap. It's about a strong woman standing up for herself. Not simply letting life happen to her. Fighting for what's important. Being open to new possibilities. And it's about one of these possibilities being a stand up guy who's falling for said woman, committing to her and having her back, no matter what.
The chemistry between Lulu and Noah is absolutely out of this world and the heat those two generate... Yumm.
In the end I am so glad that I didn't let my hang ups about reverse age gab books keep me from giving Dangerously Yours a chance. I was well rewarded for the decision to read and you'll be as well.
Dangerously Yours was a great addition to the Titans of Chicago Series. This is book 3 and just as good as the others.
Lucy Davis has been married for 15 years and her husband is not showing her the attention she deserves. She planned a nice meal for them and her husband Cade came home a few hours late and went right into a shower only to fall asleep immediately after in his towel. She spotted something resembling lipstick on his shirt and she decided enough is enough. Cade being a Titan made things hard for Lucy. She decided she wanted a divorce and he made her out to be the cheater when it was him all along.
Lucy now has to get a job to help support herself and her children. She’s an event planner which she has done for years a a volunteer but now this will be her business and she loses most of her contacts because of Cade. The younger Titans are another story. For some reason Noah had started to notice LuLu a lot more and has had visions of what he would like to do to her. Lulu has also been thinking a lot about Noah lately but there’s a large age difference aside from the fact that Noah is a Titan, she thinks all she can do is fantasize about him. Noah knows what he wants and he always gets what he wants. As Lulu and Cade’s marriage comes to an end, he decides to shoot his shot and things go well for them. One night will never be enough for either of them. Cade becomes unhinged and ends up in jail. Will Lulu and Noah be able to have a real shot at something or will there be to many obstacles in their way…Age……status…her kids….accidents… definitely a great read and looking forward to the next Titan to fall!
This is the 3rd book in the Titans of Chicago. I have loved every book in this series. The author writes stories that are captivating and you can't help but fall in love with the characters. Even though it is part of a series each book focuses on a different couple. However the characters are linked in each story so reading them all will give you a better understanding of the characters and their positions. I loved Noah's character. He is so amazing how he rebuilds Lucy back up and showers her with love and respect until she doesn't doubt herself or her abilities. This is Lucy and Noah's story.
Lucy knows what life is like to be married to a Titan. Her marriage to Cade had been perfect or so she thought. However when she finds out about his constant infidentily she decides to end their marriage no matter the consequences. Now she has to learn to live on her own, rebuild her life and provide for her children. Finding love is the last thing she wants or needs. Until Noah comes into her life.
Noah is a Titan and a famous football player. He is also a lot younger than Lucy. However when he meets her, he can't deny the attraction he feels towards her. Knowing that she is recently divorced he is reluctant to pursue her however he can't fight the feelings for long. When Lucy shows the same interest in him as he has in her their relationships starts and the fire burns bright. However it won't be a easy ride as Lucy's ex is always lurking in the background and is determined to do anything to make their life miserable. How far will Cade go? Will Lucy and Noah work? Will their age gap become an issue?
Lucy has been in the Titan world for years, knowing that once in there may never be a way out but when her husband’s last affair breaks her, she needs to escape the clutches and shelter her children from the world.
Noah is a football player having his pick of woman, in his prime and not worrying what life may bring until Lucy walks into his life and the world as he knows it turns upside down. Lucy was married to a titan who treated her poorly, but the strength of this woman fascinates Noah having known her most of his life as a Titan his self.
As Noah and Lucy become closer as friends the more the attraction plays between the two of them, Lucy wondering if she can truly be what Noah wants and needs but when her Ex-Husband starts making waves for her, Noah is the only anchor she wants.
This is the third book in this series and oh my lord it packs a punch like the other two books. I love the characters of this book, Noah the cocky young buck who is drawn to Lucy and has the protective gene to help her, Lucy’s character strong and resolute that she is determined to power through and make a safe environment for her children in the outcome of divorce.
The book powers through and has you turning the pages to digest the brilliant writing as always with this wonderful author and the world she creates for the Titans is brilliant to read.
I can’t wait to delve back in the world and discover who is next.
When Anise Storm writes a book, you can guarantee that there’s going to be a twist. Her stories are never cut and dry, there is always suspense, always a bit of drama and mystery attached. It’s what draws you and keeps you hooked to the very end. Dangerously Yours is no different; in fact, there is almost a thriller like quality to this romance novel. Lucy Davis is married to Titan Case Davis, but only until the divorce is final. Lucy has forgotten who and how strong she is, and Cade continues to drag her down. Enter Noah, and, although he is thirteen years younger, he works to prove he’s there for the longterm. They have an electric connection that just cannot be ignored, but there is danger lurking around the corner. This book is the 3rd in Storm’s Titan’s of Chicago series and, while I suggest reading the first two, this can be read as a standalone book. The way Storm skillfully puts words together on a page to create a remarkable narrative and work of art continues to boggle my mind. Storm has become one of my favorite authors and I find myself reaching for her books every time I can’t decide what to read because there hasn’t been a single one of her books I haven’t enjoyed reading. Dangerously Yours is no different. The attention to detail, the depth of description, and the realistic characters all lead to the same end… A great story that is quick to read and a great way to escape from reality for a while.
I found this story to be a triumph for Lulu after a heartbreak that threatened to break her.
The struggle between her soon-to-be-ex was real and devastating. Noah came quietly into her life despite her attempts to stay distant. He was so kind to her and was in direct contrast to what her bitter soon-to-be ex-husband was putting her through. But there was a heat and chemistry between them that Lulu eventually could not deny!
I found the struggles she had with her being older was such a common issue for an older woman who finds the thought that a younger man could find her sexy and lovable. We read about the bullet points FMC reverse age-gap women try and tell themselves in the reverse age gap tropes. I found Ms. Storm handled it beautifully, and helped Lulu see that she was worth Noah's love and interest! As an older woman who appreciates a younger man for their freedom and energy, I truly enjoyed Ms. Storm's novel. I think we need to see more novels about women who are older than their love interest, and instead of being resistant to it, maybe embrace it a little sooner in the progression of their love stories!
I received an advance review copy for free from the publisher and I wanted to say thank you. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
In this 3rd of the Titans of Chicago series we have Lulu married to Titan Cade, they have been married for 20 years and have 3 beautiful children but Lulu has had enough of Cade’s cheating and treating her terribly so she tells him to leave. He threatens to take everyone and everything because he can, and he's a Titan. Lulu gets worried after he leaves, she did sign a pre nuptial and she has no idea what to do for a job because Cade told her she didn't need to work when they married, because he had enough money to support them and it wouldn’t be a good look for a wife of a Titan to have a job!. Lulu does come up with an idea for a business, she is on her first job, disaster strikes, Noah comes to her rescue. She knows Noah as he is not only a famous football player he is also a Titan. Their chemistry is sizzling hot right from the start, they are spending time together since Lulu’s divorce has been announced. Cade has done and continues to do everything to ruin Lulu’s standing in their community and this not only affects her but also their children. An exciting page turner with unexpected twists and turns that will keep you riveted until the last page. I received an advanced reader’s copy of this book via BookSprout and I am writing this review voluntarily
Anise Storm never disappoints. Every book in the Titans of Chicago can be read as a standalone. Previous couples are mentioned but they are not the focus of this book. Dual perspectives of Lucy and Noah. Lucy has been a Titans wife for 15 years and seen the ups and downs but when they land at her feet everything changes. She doesn’t hesitate to end her marriage with her cheating husband but now she must get a job and support herself and children, no longer can just be a volunteer. Noah is a Titan in his own right but is significantly younger than Lucy. Only that doesn’t stop his mind from conjuring up different scenarios featuring her. As Noah is around more Lucy can’t help but notice him and confront the feelings she gets when near him. When the opportunity presents itself Noah and Lucy give into their desires only one night could never be enough. But Cade, Lucy’s soon-to-be ex-husband isn’t going to just let her walk away. How far will Cade go? Will Lucy be able to accept the age difference? Can Lucy and Noah have a future together? I have never read an Anise Storm book I didn’t devour and absolutely love, and this one was no different. I can’t wait to see what titan will be next in this chef’s kiss series.
Lulu is one strong and determined woman, loyal wife and fierce mother until it all falls apart. A narcissist macho football player, Cade is thriving on bashing Lulu’s character at any chance, making her to be the villain all while flaunting everything every day. Lulu continues to be strong and someone notices. That someone is a much younger man and he sees the good in her when she didn’t even know if she deserved happiness. Seems like Noah is not letting anything get in his way and she might just find her own way as well.
Firstly, Cade is a piece of work and I totally meant a different word than work (wink wink). It awful to see good women taken advantage of, dreams squished, goals vanished, but I do love a strong FMC that allows that fire within to burn bright. I completely yelled at this book and took out my frustrations on Cade and his idiocy. The fact that there are men like this everywhere is one reason I would rather be alone, just saying! I do enjoy watching her reemerge and I sure do like the spice Noah brings because goodness is it spicy!!.

Anise doesn't disappoint just when you think she couldn't top the previous two books she does. She keeps you turning the pages. Lucy (Lulu) has had enough of her husband Cade's womanizing and treating her terribly, so she tells him to leave. He threatens to take everyone and everything because he can, and he's a Titan. Anise doesn't know what to do for employment because Cade told her she didn't need to work when they married. She comes up with an idea for a business, and when disaster strikes, Noah comes to her rescue. From there, they develop friendships while she deals with Cade and their divorce. Unfortunately for Lulu, her ex didn't get everything his way, which makes him angry. Cade then does everything he can to ruin her standing in the community. This affects not only Lulu but also their children. Then come the twists and turns you don't see coming, keeping you on the edge of your seat. I received an arc for my voluntary honest review for NN Book Blog. You will love this book if you love a steamy football romance with added danger. However, there may be some triggers for people in this book, so heed the author's trigger warnings before purchasing.
Having read the previous books in this series and enjoyed them, I was looking forward to this latest instalment and was not disappointed. Having always been the perfect society wife and mother, Lucy now finds her self single and in the middle of a custody dispute. The children’s father Cody wants her back and if not then he wants custody of their three children. Unfortunately for Lucy, Cody is a Titan and they are used to getting what they want by any means. Noah is a star athlete with a reputation of having as many notches on his headboard as he has wins. He is also a Titan and is also used to getting what he wants, and he wants Lucy. Even though she’s older than him and going through a nasty divorce Noah is determined to win Lucy’s heart. When it’s Titan vs Titan the danger and scandal surrounding them will threaten their growing relationship. However, the biggest obstacle to them having a future together is the age gap between them. This is an enjoyable and engaging steamy, contemporary romance with a reverse age gap theme. I was hooked throughout and was kept happily turning the pages.
This is the third book in the series which is a spin off of the authors other series Titan of Manhattan. I have read this entire series so far and I am not disappointed by any of the books. They get better with each book. The stories are intertwined, so you do get to see other characters from the previous stories and maybe hopefully characters for future stories. That said you could read this as a stand alone but you would enjoy it more if you read them in order. This has everything in the book that I have come o love from this author. There is angst, love, steam, emotional growth, character growth, and some suspense. This one has age gap but it isn't your normal age gap, it is a reverse age gap. That made it even more interesting for me because it isn't normally what y0u think about when a book says age gap. This book had me turning pages as fast as I could read them. It was a quick read and I read it in a day. Even being a quick read, it doesn't feel like it fell short in any part of the book. It isn't rushed and the story line flows seamlessly. I can't wait for the next book in the series or the next book by this author because their books are just that well written.
Anise storm has done it again! While this is the 3rd book in her series, dangerously yours can absolutely be read as a stand alone!
Lulus long term marriage came to an end when her husband’s affairs came to light. A not so agreeable divorce led her to find a way to support herself and children, while not disrupting their lives more than necessary.
Cade, Lulu’s now ex, couldn’t stand that she’s so willing to go through this divorce. After all he was a Titan and regardless of marital issues or affairs the wives rarely left.
Lulu unexpectedly found romance with a star football player who was a decent amount younger than her, Noah. Despite her best efforts to ignore it things with the football star quickly heated up.
This only angered Cade more, even though he flaunted different women around town daily. This caused some serious backlash that would leave Noah’s world turned upside down and Lulu blaming herself.
Can Lulu and Noah push past everything? Will Cade back off and accept that Lulu has moved on? Check out Dangerously yours to find out!
Dangerously Yours (Titans of Chicago Book 3) by Anise Storm. This is a great addition to the Titans of Chicago series. It's the story of Lucy Davis who has been married 15 years but she is so tired of being a second class citizen in their marriage. Dangerously Yours is Book 3 of the Titans Of Chicago series. It's a steamy, opposites-attract, reverse age-gap, girl gets her billionaire sports romance. Lulu is a 39 year old mother of 3 who was married to Chicago Titan, Cade. She ends up filing for divorce due to his constant cheating. Noah is a 26 year old hunky Titan and professional football player. He has known Lulu for years as the Titans have a lot of common social circles. He also lives in the same building as her and has recently found himself attracted to her but knows she is married and off limits. However, when he hears she is divorced, he decides to pursue her. OMG, the chemistry between these two was pure fire. I love a good reverse age-gap story, and this did not disappoint. Cade was a tool, and there were twists I did not see coming, but in the end, we got a happy ending. This was my first book by this author but not the last. I loved it and need to read the rest of the series now!!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love reading Anise Storm's Titans book series, especially the Titans of Chicago, where you never know what to expect from the characters. This book focuses on the romance of Noah, the eternal bachelor, or so he thinks himself to be, and Lucy, the wife of another Titan, Cade. As we see in the other books in the series, being a Titan allows the men to do whatever their hearts desire, including stepping out on their wives and families. Lucy, also known to most as Lulu, is not one of those typical wives who allows her man to step out on her, and files for divorce from Cade, despite his threats to make her pay for this "mistake" she is making. This book is such a great read portraying the power of the women behind the Titans, and how not all Titans are such terrible guys, despite the power they carry. I love that Lulu is a strong woman, who puts her family first, and everything she does is for what she believes is best for her kids. When it comes to romance, age doesn't have to be a factor, which is represented beautifully in this story. @Brandy Rymer 03/2025
Lucy finds out her Titan husband has been cheating on her their entire marriage. As a Titans wife she is supposed to just look the other way but she can't and won't let that be her life anymore. She decides to divorce him and trys to move on with her life. Of course as a titan he doesn't accept it and fights her for custody of their kids and tries to make her life miserable especially when he finds out she's seeing someone, a fellow titan Noah, who's much younger. He's a star athlete who is isn't the type the settle down with one woman until he helps Lucy one day and sees her in a different light. He pursues her and even though there is a connection between them she is unsure because of her recent divorce and she's thinks she too old for him.
I love reading Anise Storms books. She always crates a world that pulls you in and has you hooked. This one is no different and as always I love the characters she writes. The Titans of Chicago series has been a great series so far and I can't wait until the next book.
This is the third book in the series and can be read as a stand-alone. There are mentions of the couples in the previous books but nothing that would confuse you If you read this one first.
This is an age gap. Now hear me out. The woman is older and they are both very much legal! I must say… This book gave me unrealistic hope. As someone pushing 40 like Lulu… I would LOVE to have my own Noah. I know I would never but just imagining the things Noah does to Lulu being done on me by some hot young man…. 🥵🥵🥵🥵
Anyways! Lulu is married to some tool, and yes he is a tool, and after getting a divorce she has to reinvent herself. While in the process Noah is there helping her…. and in the best of ways, even nonsexually.
Even as a titan Noah is such a sweetheart. He is a bit of a playboy but every man can change for the right woman, right?
Anyways. This is a great story. Anise never lets me down. With every book of hers I have ever read, this one has lived up past my expectations.
