Oh wow!!! I so wasn't expecting that chick to be the wife that turned out to be. The way Malcolm treated her would make you think she was just somebody else he was sleeping with. As for Ananda, she seemed like a good person that just dealt with some crazy men. Even with Merci showing up to her house, plus them getting into fights on multiple occasions she was still willing to give Malcolm a chance. Merci was crazy anyways! After the real wife was revealed, it kind of makes you wonder if she was the source of all Merci's information. Hopefully part 2 will explain some other questions as well. And I wondering if it was actually suicide or if Malcolm's wife played a part in what happened at the end.

JAW DROPPING STUFF

At first, I wasn't digging this book. I didn't like the back and forth from situation to situation couple to couple BUT THEN it all came together and I could NOT stop reading until I hit the end.

This tangle web of love, lies, deception, and pure obsession is what 5 star reads are made of.

It's a reminder to men that nothing is worse than a woman scorned. And a reminder to women that sometimes you really gotta look at what he DOESN'T say.

I can't wait to jump into part two AND see the stage play.

My name is K Sherrie,
And I recommend this read.

Sassy

This story had a lot of characters playing in the cheating and lying game that it was hard to keep up with who was doing what and with who. I like though that the woman in this book are playing there role and not giving up with out a fight.

We thoroughly enjoyed 'My Boyfriend's Wife' and would defiantly recommend this book to those who have read other books by this author. Mychea's stories are always fast paced, well written and jam packed with drama. What we appreciated most about 'My Boyfriend's Wife' was that the current characters were different from the characters in her last series, yet they were still intertwined. It took us a little while to determine 'who' out of the leading ladies was the wife being played (no confusion, we loved that the story was unpredictable,) but once we cottoned on it was straight sailing from there. However, the only downfall was that we thought the story to too short and we were left a little disappointed with the sudden ending. WE WANT MORE! Luckily we heard there's a Part 2, so it won't be long before we unravel the love triangle that is between Ananda, Malcolm and the mysterious Heather.

Incomplete and messy read. I think the author was trying to be suspenseful but it just was confusing. I was 60% through the book and still didn't know what was going on or where the plot was going. I could have easily stopped reading because it just wasn't engaging.

I did finish the book just because I already had it and its sequel. It got much better around the 75% mark. I did continue on to book 2 because this book alone didn't provide closure. I honestly believe it was written as one book and the publishers maybe decided to split it.

This book alone is a 2 star. But, collectively the series is a 3.

Mychea brings the craziness and drama to a another level in this book. Like always it grabs your attention from the get go and won't allow you to put it down until you finish. Can't wait to read how this story unfolds in book two.

This was an ok read. There were moments where things didn't quite add up and at times the characters did things that I wouldn't have expected from them. I also don't get why it's titled My Boyfriend's Wife because that isn't even relevant to the story. It wasn't a bad read I actually liked the story and where it was going but I hated the ending and there were a few moments that could use improvement. I will probably follow the series but not right away

Pure fuckery.

This book was okay..... Like why would Ananda still fuck with dude after all that baby mama drama like really fighting every time they go out??? Shit was to crazy. And dude was married to that other chick but couldn't marry his child's mother? Hopefully book 2 will shed some light on the fuckery because there isn't a penis out here that could make me dumb like that.

What?

I didn't like the story and liked the characters even less. it was like bougie meets ghetto. The end was the best part. I've read her other books and liked them. Guess every book's not a winner. Don't think I'll read part 2. I'll wait on She Loves Me, She Loves You Not Part 3.

My Boyfriend’s Wife was interesting and confusing all at once.

Malcolm was a womanizer who finally fell in love only to be close to losing it all. I’m still not sure of Hudson’s role.

Ananda was written as a no nonsense, hopeless romantic, which was somewhat contradictory considering her putting up with Malcolm’s baby mama/girlfriend?

Maybe I need to go back and read this book again (or, maybe not) because it seemed to jump from story to story, which eventually was tied together, but still confusing.

Will I read book 2? I haven’t decided.

Good till the last page: then, not so much.

It was a good read, until the end. It felt lazy to me, to not draw some sort of resolution. I wouldn't say the ending is a cliffhanger, the book simply stops. I think that the ending it already had could have been re-worked. That way the readers have some sort of closure. I know that there are other parts. I'm hesitant to read because I will be very disappointed if they end the way this one did.
