On the cusp of a presidential election, the United States is torn apart by violent riots. Encouraged by political leaders and media personalities, well organized and supplied mobs run wild. Cities across the country burn, innocent people are attacked, and the authorities are unable and unwilling to stop it.
Against this violent backdrop, a boy named Kyle is sent to live with his uncle for the summer. His uncle, Evans, is a battle scarred Marine veteran who lives alone in the Texas Hill Country. As the summer progresses and election day nears, the violence across America escalates. Uncle Evans does what he can to protect his nephew and prepare him for the fiery protests that are headed their way.
