For years, Zoe has been a fan of sapphic romance novels, especially the saucy and spicy tales of Nicole Marcel, whose books gave her the courage to finally come out and live as her true self.

So, when she sees a woman reading a Nicole Marcel book on the train one morning, she can't help but strike up a conversation with her.

The woman's name is Hannah, and she has a bit of a secret as to her relationship with Nicole Marcel. That secret will blow Zoe's mind, and change the course of her life as she knows it.

This massively expanded version of a story that first appeared in Chloe Slate's The Mansion not only contains the fireworks and intrigue of Hannah and Zoe's first encounter, but continues the story to show their relationship developing. It even has a cameo that is so self-indulgent, you might find yourself saying "Really, Chloe?" as you read this sometimes hilarious, always hot, and cheekily self-referential tale.

Chloe's latest book is another great read. She truly captures the essence of an author and fan romance in this well-written novel that contains just the right amount of spice.

I enjoyed the manner in which Zoe and Hannah's paths crossed, including the slight deception employed to draw Zoe into Hannah's orbit. The mutual attraction between them was evident, and their chemistry was undeniable.

I highly recommend this book, as well as all of Chloe's other publications. I am eagerly anticipating her future works.

This is the best thing I have read by this author. Short, simple, sweet, saucy. It wasn’t perfect, but it delivered on what was promised. There were some very fun moments. A good little novella to read between my other books.

A bit rushed, but I also don’t think it should have been dragged out any longer. A bit all over the place, but I liked how it had the additional details beyond just being a few spicy scenes in a trench coat.

It's not long enough to have very many negative things to say, hah!

Look, I can only say so much without providing spoilers... but if like grinning at your e-reader as you read, here ya go.

Do I wish it was longer, obviously...but the cameo was so great! 🥰

If you're like me you'll be trying to flip to the next chapter but realize that's the end. Wait! I wasn't done reading!!!

This is a book I didn't even know I needed. I initially read the short story of it at the end of The Mansion (great book with lots of spice) and just had to have more of their story. After asking on a Sapphic book rec group, I was pointed to this book as their continuation. My only gripe is that it is a short book but oh so amazing!
