I picked this book because of Ales Kot, the writer of this comic book. He currently has a gig co-writing Secret Avengers and it was because of the strength of his independent work that he was able to get into a Marvel comic. Reading this, I could see that he has a predilection for gritty cloak and dagger material which would serve him well in Secret Avengers.

The artist Michael Walsh is a relative newcomer to me. But I could see him working on a mainstream book soon. His gritty lines is appropriate to Zero.

Jordie Bellaire sure gets around. She's a very popular colorist lately. Five of the last seven books I read carry her work.

Image Comics prides itself in giving comic book readers alternative to the superhero books the big two constantly pump out of their respective factory lines. Zero finds a home with them. With its depictions of sex, violence and murder, it can only be published independently.

Comic

This issue ended to abruptly for me. I was just getting invested in the story when it ends. Not fair.
