LOVED this book!!! For context, this book provides a different Jane Austen quote for every day of the year. One of my best friends loves Jane Austen (as do I!) and I grabbed a copy for part of her Christmas gift. I decided to go through it fairly quickly and put some annotations in for her, hence why I read it in 12 days as opposed to the normal 365! I enjoyed it, and I hope my friend does too! ♥️ 5.0 stars
I like the idea, but the excecution was lacking. The commentary felt forced, and the biggest minus is that several quotes were repeated throughout the year, either partly or in whole. Austen has more than enough texts to choose from, making it feel careless to make those kinds of repetitions. But the idea is quite fun and it was an easy read.
