Very practical guide if you have a team you work with. It doesn't have to be in a manufacturing environment. Similar to "2 second lean" by Paul Akers and compliments it well.

If you’re looking for a book about Lean (aka Toyota Production System, kaizen or continuous improvement), this is a great place to start. Ryan packs this book full of simple but very practical and highly effective tips to start the transformation of any company towards a more engaging, more efficient, more fulfilling place to work. Ryan is an owner and director at a medical chair manufacturing company in Northern Ireland, where company executives from all over the world come to see one of the most clean, most thoughtful factories in the world, and to learn from his experienced team. In addition to a highly readable book, there are simple activities to apply the thinking of each chapter to your own situation, and QR codes to additional high value content. This is not the wordiest or most technical book on lean, but it is a simple starting point that lives up to its name.

Extremely simple. Speaks to the culture required and ways to seed the culture. Also has great thought-provoking questions throughout.
