With his hilarious, page-turning debut WALKER, Sam Pasternack has cemented himself as a charming new voice in fiction. I laughed, smiled, gasped, and glued myself to the pages of Walker Dilettante’s journey across the country. What begins as a mission to meet his long-lost family (on foot!) turns into a heartwarming discovery of self, a gripping mystery about legacy, and a timeless reminder that we can all reroute our destinies. Run, don’t walk (or at least, mimic Walker’s pace!) to pick up a copy of this laugh-out-loud novel today.

A wildly clever and unforgettable read! Walker is a total delight. It's hilarious, absurd, and unexpectedly insightful. From the very first page, I found myself laughing out loud at the sharp wit and wonderfully quirky characters. Beneath the humor, it also delivers a thoughtful look at family, legacy, and self-discovery. As someone who has done plenty of cross-country road trips, I loved the U.S. travel theme. This book is wildly entertaining, smart, and completely unique. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!

A charming and engaging debut novel from Sam Pasternack. You can’t help but fall for the endlessly optimistic Walker Dilletante, who takes on a great cross-country pedestrian adventure. Walker travels thousands of miles on foot to meet unknown relatives and learn more about the legacy of a famous ancestor. Twists and turns abound in this funny and poignant tale about finding family, literally or otherwise.
