Little Luntatic is a dark and twisted retelling of Romeo and Juliet
I've always been the shadow in her light, the dark in her world of innocence. Everyone saw her as the perfect daughter, the good one, the pure one. But I knew better. Beneath that sweetness lies something darker—something I can twist, mold, and claim as my own. She doesn’t know it yet, but she belongs to me. And I’ll drag her down to my level, even if it means breaking her in the process.
Because if I can’t have her, no one will.
He’s always been the storm that clouds my world, the force that pushes me to the edge. Caius’s cruelty has haunted me for as long as I can remember, but there’s something else, something I can’t escape—an attraction, a pull that’s as terrifying as it is intoxicating. I should run, I should fight, but deep down, I know the truth. I’m already his. And in the end, I’m not sure if I’m strong enough to resist the darkness he’s pulling me into—or if I even want to.
Man this packed a PUNCH. This is a short erotic horror that is taboo (step siblings) with a dark re-telling of Romeo and Juliet - so there is NO HEA.
I repeat - NO HEA.
If this isn’t your jam - you might wanna skip this one.
Caius is insane. Literally insane. Possessive, unhinged and downright toxic. Tatum is sweet and innocent until Caius sinks his teeth into her and convinces her that she is his and there is no other way. He will literally follow her to the ends of the earth. Tatum soon learns there is no other way to live but in Caius’ world.
Little lunatic ⭐️⭐️ This has a really good premise and a really good start but the rest of the execution was pretty poor. I honestly just found it all hard to believe. I didn’t understand the characters and everything was super repetitive. The smut was so bleh and quick. And the way she flipped a switch so fast was not believable in the slightest to me. He’s a lil shit for sure. Honestly I’m down for them both being dead tho. That’s fine by me ahah. I think a lot more could have been accomplished regardless of it being a novella. I’m still intrigued by this author and I love me some taboo but this let me down. Poor couple at the end. Tatums death was hella anticlimactic to me and I don’t believe either character loved each other at all. Also this is not pitch black or really horror. But it was trying to be that. I’m so confused why they had to go to a tree to cut each other ahah
I haven’t read a book without a HEA and didn’t think I would like one… until this little Twisted Romeo & Juliet style retelling.
It’s dark, twisted and spicy as h3ll and oh so good. Caius is dark and insane but the way he loves and wants to possess Tatum is definitely obsessive but so good!
This is a quick read. If you’re looking for something to fill in between books, as long as you mind the triggers… it’s an amazing dark read.
ARC Review This book is amazing but also amazingly written. I just finished it. It was amazing and the main characters are perfect for each other. This book is dark please check the trigger warnings before reading
I didn't read what this book was about before going in, I just seen the title and the cover and thought, lets read this one next. So I dove in blind.
The book follows Caius and Tatum, who are step siblings. Just as the story starts, Tatum gets a call that her parents were in a terrible accident and didn't survive it. When Caius walks in and she is a sobbing mess on the living room floor.
Caius has this obsession with Tatum, and he has to have her, not only have her though, he needs to corrupt her and coax her darkness to come out and play with his.
He ends up getting her hooked on drugs. They end up murdering a guy in an alley, and then fuck up against a dumpster just a few feet away from the corpse.
Towards the end they end up catching the eye of a couple, in which they all leave the club to go to a motel. The couple had no idea what was about to take place once they entered, but Caius and Tatum did. They went in with all intentions of killing the couple. And they did!
Tatum in the end ended up taking the knife she slit the girls throat with, and stabs it through her chest into her heart, taking her own life. Following her in death, Caius, knowing he couldn't live without her, held her in his arms and ended his life as well.
It was a pretty poetic ending. Kind of like a twisted, and very twisted, version of Romeo and Juliet.
This book is dark, and has disturbing events that could be triggering to some. If you have triggers, I recommend checking the warnings. If you don't and like to be disturbed and caught off guard, then just dive right in like I did myself!
There are detailed spicy scenes in this book that I would give 4 of 5 chili spices.

Please check your trigger warnings and content warnings before diving into this because it is so dark and twisted and there is no HEA
Tatum and Caius are step siblings and he has always made it his mission to be mean to Tatum and hurt her feelings because the way it made him feel. Tatum has been the good girl and their parents princess she does nothing wrong.
One night when Tatum is home alone she receives a call that no one wants to receive about their parents and she is absolutely wrecked about it. She is so heartbroken about it and when Caius comes home and basically brushes it off it hurts her even more because now she feels totally alone.
"You're mine, Tatum. And now.... Now there's nothing left to stop me from taking what's mine.." "But- but I'm your sister... I can't. We can't."
Holy crap! I don't want to give too much away about this but this book is messed up! Caius will do anything to make sure that Tatum relies and him for anything and everything. He wants to make her as dependent as he can on her. The spicy scenes in this are so hot and messed up but I couldn't get enough of them.
"You're mine. You were always meant to be min, and now that you are, I'm not fucking letting you go. I don't care what anyone thinks or has to fucking say about it. If people don't like it, I'll show them how I handle problems."
" A fucking Lunatic. My fucking little lunatic." "And I'm yours. We belong to each other now, no matter what anyone else thinks. And I'm going to show you just how much you belong to me."
tatum & caius are stepsibs. theyre total opposites in their parents' eyes. but hes had this dark obsession about her since childhood. after a tragic accident, they only had each other. such the toxic relationship they had--full of drügzz, $3x, & b00ze...& unalivings!!

𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: Thank you so much to @novakane for allowing me to read this arc🖤
This was a quick little read, but MAN did it pack a punch! This is a pitch black erotic horror novella, about Caius and Tatum, step siblings. Caius drags Tatum into a journey together that involves psychotic love, drugs, and so much darkness.
Little Lunatic is a fast paced book, with NO HEA!!!! So if this isn’t something you enjoy, I don’t recommend reading!
"He's pulling me into his world, into the darkness that surrounds him, and I don't know if I have the strength to resist. I don't know if I want to”
Nova Kane said here’s a pitch black erotic horror and it sure delivered on that! Check the TW and be warned there is no HEA. This is a VERY dark and twisted Romeo & Juliet retelling. So much happens in this short novella, but it made me want to keep reading and I devoured it in one sitting.
What to expect: 🔪Step Siblings 🔪Trauma 🔪Forbidden Love 🔪Dark Obsession 🔪Hate To Lust 🔪Toxic Relationship 🔪Not HEA 🔪Blood & Knife Play 🔪Killer Couple
Thank you to Nova Kane for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Please check triggers before you read. This book will take you on a wild journey between Tatum and Caius, the plot was amazing and the spicy was there, the dark and twisted of this book was one that I was not fully expecting but definitely enjoyed. Caius pushing and seeing how far he can take Tatum into the darkness with him was what sucked me in and I had a hard time putting it down. If you are wanting to read a happily ending this is not the book for you, if you don’t mind a not happy ending definitely read this.
Okay, at first wasn’t loving it and right at the end really got me and it ended up being 4.75 stars for me. Wish it was a bit bigger, could have used more
I really liked this novella! It’s a short 10 chapters, but as usual, Nova was able to pack a lot into those 10 chapters. This is an Erotic Horror Romeo & Juliet retelling. There is NO HEA!! I repeat, THERE IS NO HAPPILY EVER AFTER HERE!! So if that’s something you’re not ok with, this isn’t the book for you. There is frequent substance use & some unaliving in here as well. It’s VERY steamy!! The MCs were something ELSE! the MMC Caius, is a legit psychopath in every sense of the word. Tatum, the FMC, is his stepsister who, by the end of the book, has had a MAJOR transformation. These two are an absolute MENACE together and I loved every minute of it. Tatum was very impressionable & Caius takes full advantage of that. I wouldn’t call this a romance at all. And because I don’t believe he’s even capable of the emotion, I wouldn’t say that Caius loved Tatum. I would say he is more obsessed with her than anything else. He certainly took advantage of Tatum’s vulnerability. By the end of the book, I had sympathy for Tatum because she had a hard time trying to come to terms with the person she had become. Nova was even able to make me feel a little bad for Caius by the end as well. Which is a testament to her writing, because, in my opinion, Caius is a very unlikable character. All in all, i would totally recommend this novella if you are ok with no HEA & you are looking for a quick read. There are some very graphic depictions of certain things in this novella, so as always, please check the TWs before reading. ESPECIALLY if you’ve never read erotic horror before.
If you're looking for a pitch black erotic horror with a twisted psychotic love, this is it. It isn't sweet or caring, it's a possessive psychopath corrupting his step sister and delving into the drug fuelled darkness and embracing freedom. It's deadly, it's depraved, it's devastating, and so entertaining. There is no happy ending (there wasn't for Romeo and Juliet), it's a fast paced journey into hell.
🔪 "You've always been mine, Tatum. You just didn't know it yet"
🔪 "There is no one else, and even if there were, I'd kill them just to make sure all you had was me"
🔪 "Maybe this is what we were always meant to be - two dark, twisted souls, lost and broken but perfect together in our shared destruction"
🔪"He's pulling me into his world, into the darkness that surrounds him, and I don't know if I have the strength to resist. I don't know if I want to"
🔪"I knew from the moment I met you that I'd be the one to ruin you. I knew you'd be mine"
“I didn’t just want to make her cry. I wanted to ruin her.” “I’m finally who I was always meant to be.”
Short and fast-paced, pitch-black, twisted Romeo & Juliet retelling.
This book was amazing! Even though it was short, there was a lot happening. Both Caius and Tatum were dark and twisted in their own ways, and I loved their dynamic.
Don’t expect a happy ending from this book, because you won’t get one. This was probably the first no-HEA book I’ve read, and I really enjoyed it. I liked the ending and felt like it was perfect for the storyline.
Please check the trigger warnings before reading, your mental health matters!
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
This novella was dark, twisted and fast paced to the max! Though it was a novella, this one was filled with a bit of everything from start to finish!
Before you dive in, please check the trigger warnings 'cause it will not be a book for everyone.
Tatum and Caius have both been through a lot and are drawn together when tragedy hits. From that moment Caius tries everything to get to Tatum and when she finally caves things go off the road very fast! I've read the book in one sitting, because I just wanted to know how it would end.
If you your books dark, twisted to the max, fast paced, spicy and with no HEA, this novella is a great read!
Thank you Nova Kane for this ARC to read and review.
First things first, there is NO HEA. This is a dark, erotic horror Romeo and Juliet retelling. I repeat there is NO happily ever after. This was a quick read with just a little over 100 pages. It was absolutely amazing!! Just like everything else I’ve read that Nova has written this had me wrapped around its little binding. Caius our MMC is an absolute psychopath!! I wouldn’t even say he’s capable of loving Tatum (our FMC) it’s more of an obsession. Tatum just lost her two parental figures and is extremely impressionable. Caius takes full advantage of that and together they become an absolute menace.
Nova miss ma'am, what did you do to me. I loved every dark & depraved second of this. Something about the obsession, possession and levels of utter unhinged behavior had me feral and wanting more.

‼ It may be short, but please check TWs and CWs this book has very dark themes. If you have none go ahead and dive into the darkness with me you Little Lunatic
A fast-paced spiral into the absolute consumption of forbidden love, drugs, and lust. Love the use of dual POV to really sink you into both sides' perspectives. This was just mind-boggling in the best of ways. Dark. Depraved. 😜 I loved this story! I knew not to expect a happy ending ( ⚠️ NO HEA), but that one still threw me for a loop.🤯 Check your trigger warnings!

There is a certain quality in an individual who does not abide by the rules. You might not condone his tactics, but he is someone you can't overlook.
Meet Caius…
The man has an obsession with what is forbidden, and it is his mission to go against any and all moral boundaries.
Meet Tatum
Her odds against him were always slim. The tremendous grief compelled her to seek an escape. It felt hard to say "No" in the face of such overwhelming vulnerability. Her fragility created an opportunity for him, and which is where the story unfold
I enjoy reading stories with forbidden relationships and unhappy ever afters. This was an easy 5 star for me.
This was a dark, twisted ride. The step-sibling dynamic, mixed with drugs, blood, and murder, definitely pushed boundaries. The atmosphere was intense and chaotic, but the constant repetition of “you’re mine” and “I’m yours” made the story lose some of its impact for me. While the concept was bold, the execution could have been tighter. Overall, it was wild, but not fully for me. Rating: ★★★☆☆

This book is a deranged and twisted ride, so be sure to check the warnings before you read. When I saw this was a twisted re-imagining of Romeo and Juliet, I couldn't have been more giddy. Nova warned over and over there was no HEA to this novella, and I kept her warning in my mind the whole time while reading, but it still did not stop the pain. The ending was beautifully written, as well as the rest of the book. Only 100 pages, but so much information and plot included. I kind of wished they would continue their deranged love story, even if that makes me a bit twisted myself. Caius uses Tatum's trauma to his advantage throughout the book. Tatum is lost and lonely, and Caius also uses that against her. Amazing read if you are looking for something a bit crazy and taboo.
Horrifying hot. This PITCH BLACK novella does not have a happy ending but is a perfect spooky season read. The FF scene will live rent free in my head and not in a good way 😅🤣
