Reid I’ve spent the last decade wandering alone through the darkness, haunted by the ghosts of what I’ve done and what I couldn’t prevent. Then a beacon of light showed up and gave me the most dangerous gift of all—hope.
I’ve been living two separate lives for too long, and when danger comes to my front door and threatens to take away the only light in my life, my two worlds come crashing together.
My past demons threaten to take away my future happiness, and I’ll do whatever it takes to protect the only good thing I have, even if it means dragging the part of me I’ve kept hidden out to fight for her.
Kinsey All I want is someone to fight for me. To see me as more than just the Hayes brothers’ little sister. Someone worth fighting for.
I never expected it to be Reid Knight, my brother’s best friend, and Aspen Ridge’s resident bad boy. Something dark haunts him, but he looks at me like I’m his salvation. When danger comes too close, bringing with it demons from his past, I’ll do anything to keep him in the light.
I’m strong enough to pull him from the darkness, but will he fight to keep me after I do?
**Complete Me is book five in the interconnected Aspen Ridge Series and can be read as a standalone. HEA guaranteed!**
Author, wife, mother, lover of reading, overcast skies, chilly weather, and hockey.
A romantic at heart, Jenn has always been a lover of books, and is constantly dreaming up heart-wrenching stories that will have you reaching for tissues and make you blush.
When Jenn's not writing, she can be found reading a spicy romance novel, watching scary movies, and enjoying her quiet life in New England, living out her real-life romance story.
Good grief, the start of this book had me in tears before I’d even finished my coffee. We all knew Reid’s backstory was going to be devastating from the little crumbs we’d been given in previous books, but that prologue? Yeah, that explained a lot about why he’s so quick to step in and help women. This man is officially on my “book boyfriends who must be protected at all costs” list.
This one hit different. It was heavier than the rest of the series (at least for me) and I cried more than once. My heart broke for Reid… and Chaos. (You’ll know.)
But heaviness aside? I loved this book. Reid’s treatment of Kinsey? Chef’s kiss. And Kinsey herself? Watching her step into her own power especially when she literally stepped into the ring with her brothers to knock some sense into them, it was glorious.
The brothers’ growth surprised me too. Honestly, I expected them to react way worse when they found out, but I’ll give them their flowers for handling it better than I’d imagined.
Now listen, I know this is the end of the Aspen Ridge series, but I am manifesting that it’s actually the start of a new one, because the new characters we met? I need more. Immediately.
A solid 4.5 rounding up to 5stars.
Thank you Smuthood for the ARC
Fave quote:
“You would have found your way out without me, Reid. I wish you could see yourself the way I do. Selfless, loyal, loving . . . the most caring man I’ve ever met in my life. Your innate ability to know what people need before they do, the way you would do anything for someone who needed help. You are not gloom and darkness, you are light. Your heartbreak just kept you from seeing it.”
This last book in the series has been on my mind for a while. I expected it to be an emotional rollercoaster, and it truly was—I found myself in tears multiple times! It’s definitely the most heartfelt book in the series. Kinsey is ready to spread her wings and move out of her parents' house, so she rents a place above Reid's tattoo shop. Reid happens to be her brother's best friend, someone she's known for years. They’ve never really had anything romantic between them, but living so close opens their eyes to how much they actually have in common. As they start to spend time together, their chemistry is undeniable!
Being the youngest and only girl in the Hayes family, Kinsey has her brothers looking out for her, which can be a bit overwhelming as she gets older. She craves the chance to experience life for herself—dating and finding someone who will love her for who she is, someone who will cherish and prioritize her. On the other hand, Reid is dealing with his own past struggles, filled with grief and guilt. He’s made a fresh start in Aspen Ridge, and while he might look tough with his height, tattoos, and build, his heart is truly made of gold. He’s such a caring and gentle guy.
Their relationship develops beautifully and feels so natural! Despite knowing each other for years, they never really had a chance to hang out until Kinsey moved nearby. As they spend more time together, they become friends and everything blossoms. When Reid’s past threatens Kinsey’s safety, he’s ready to do whatever it takes to protect her. I loved how patient and thoughtful he was, and how Kinsey brought light to his life. She’s so understanding and helps him find a way out of his darkness.
One of my favorite parts of this series is the found family aspect. It was heartwarming to see how Reid was embraced as part of their family, how they supported each other, and how strong their bond is. This series has been such a wonderful journey, and I’m definitely feeling a mix of sadness and satisfaction as I say goodbye to these characters. The ending was just perfect, wrapping everything up so nicely!
The conclusion of the Aspen Ridge series was such a pivotal experience for me I don’t know if I can even put it into words. I have absolutely loved this series and these characters and the journey they took me on including the relationship I’ve formed with their author 🖤
Reid Knight has been a constant in the Hayes family but very few know his dark and traumatic back story. After the youngest Hayes, Kinsey, decides she needs to branch out on her own she moves into the apartment above Reid’s tattoo shop. As the proximity between the two has gotten closer- so has their connection. After Reid’s past comes back to haunt him and Kinsey takes the brunt of it that man will stop at nothing to not only save her, but to show her how much she has grown to mean to him.
Reid and Kinsey were absolute magic in all of the best ways. I loved seeing their connection grow and strengthen as well as show their vulnerabilities and rely on each other. Both of these characters are so strong but can let their walls down when they know they have each other.
The whole Hayes family and this series will always hold such a special place in my heart and I cannot even fathom that its over. I was so honored to have been part of Jenn’s beta team as well as being able to ARC read this beautiful story. Love you so much Jenn- happy Kinsey and Reid day!!!
BETA/ARC REVIEW: Infinity stars. Absolutely blown away. I think my read count is at three, and I loved it more each + every time. Complete Me is the last (!?) book of the Aspen Ridge series and I cried multiple times throughout the last couple chapters as I wasn't ready to say goodbye to these characters. It is a standalone, so you can jump in, but just know you're going to want to go back and read the rest. Don't say I didn't warn you!
Kinsey is the youngest Hayes sibling and the only girl. To say she's had to put up with some possessive alpha males in her time is an understatement. After her first year of teaching, Kinsey is seeking some freedom. She let's it be known to her four older brothers that if they don't back off and let her breath/live a little she will leave Aspen Ridge. So, the first step is getting out of their parents house...
Reid has always been a loner. He may be Sawyer's best friend, but something has always been there keeping him closed off from getting too close to anyone else. Little did we know what tragedy was in his past to make him this way. And when Kinsey is in need of some independence, he offers up the studio above his tattoo shop, Rogue, which leads to some late night hang out sessions where their friendship blossoms.
These two are the definition of couple goals. They are the epitome of soulmates. They give the other what they need without losing any of themselves in the process. Their story has so many ups and downs, but they come out all the stronger. I don't want to say too much because it will give away the story, but Kinsey has always wanted someone who will fight for her and that's exactly what Reid does. They are partners in the fullest sense. Their love + respect for each other is top tier, and their connection is the type I seek when reading.
Jenn ended the series with the best. I never thought anyone would dethrone my OG's Sawyer + Ivy, but Reid + Kinsey did just that. They are my AR king + queen. Please read them. You won't regret it.

I finished last night and OH MY GOODNESS!!! The emotions in this one was A LOT! I think this one was for sure the darkest and heaviest in terms of themes for me, but phwoar, what an incredible story!! My heart broke for Reid in ch1 but thankfully by the end it was truly put back together ❤️🩹❤️🩹
I love how strong Kins is, both emotionally and physically! The way she broke slugs nose 👊🏼 and that she takes no shit from Sawyer! I love her! And really, those boys only have themselves to blame because she’s grown into this incredibly independent, strong woman because of them haha!
“I’ve got him now, and you can rest.” 😖😢😫😭
I’m so not ready for this series to be over 🫀 and I’m seeking signatures for my petition for Ms. Nettie to get a prequel novella 🙂↕️

For someone who only discovered this author less than a month ago and has immediately gone through her entire blacklist, I can say with absolutely certainty that this is the best book in the series. Are you even kidding me right now?!? Brother best friend will forever be the superior romance trope, but oh my goodness, this was done so well. I figured a lot of Reid's past on my own with the glimpses we've gotten of him in the other books and how he was with all the women, but goodness gracious, this tattooed teddy bear is absolutely EVERYTHING.
The prologue alone made me tear up like crazy, and seeing Reid merely existing because of all the guilt he feels is just so soul crushing. But his connection with Kinsey and the way they were just each others person? Goodness, that made me tear up all over again! Especially when his life from the MC and his life in Aspen Ridge started to merge in ways he never fathomed, and when that happens, he stopped at nothing to get his woman. I adored it ALL.
I truly loved Kins in the other books, but she really stole the show here. Her breaking free from her brothers stifling eye, finding her Independence and who she is without a shadow behind her, her wanting to just experience life in general is so relatable. As is wanting someone to be man enough to face her brothers and fight for her -- oh my stars. She may have been all sweet and understanding and kind, but she still has all the fire and strength her brothers possess, and I was absolutely cheering her on during some pivoitol scenes! And then the way her and Reid healed one another?WHO IS CHOPPING ONIONS IN MY HOUSE?!?!
I also loved that there wasn't a third act breakup; with all that happened in the first half, that really would have cheapened their relationship and only enforced Kins's insecurities regarding her brothers. I just adore that no matter what happened, they always had each other's back.
I will say I truly hope this isn't the last time we see the members of the MC, especially Malice. There's just something about sweet psychopaths that does it for me, and that man has that in spades!
This is definitely an amazing series, and one I will go back to read time and time again! Please don't sleep on these books, guys! Jenn has a fan for life!
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions **
Gahhhhhhh the perfect end to the Aspen Ridge series!!! I’ve been dying for Reid’s story since book 1 and it was 100% worth the wait. I love how this had a little suspense in there too - I was on the edge of my seat! Reid and Kinsey are perfection and the chemistry between them is 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨 If you haven’t read this series wtf are you even doing?? It’s got a little something for everyone!

Thank you @authorjennplummer for allowing me to be a part of the Aspen Ridge street team! You are so talented and congrats on finishing your first series!!! 🫶🏽
This book had me all up in my feels starting with the prologue. Reid and Kinsey are everything we hoped they’d be and much more. This is a book / series that I will read over and over.
I love Mom & Dad Hayes. They don’t judge. They provide open arms of support and love.

Dear Jenn Plummer - does this really have to be the end of the Aspen Ridge series. Trey needs a love interest, Ms. Nettie could have a torrid, age gap, love affair or what about an origin story for Mom & Dad Hayes? (Just spit balling some idea as I’m not ready to leave AR).
Thank you to Jenn Plummer and The Smuthood for the privilege of reading an advanced reader copy.
I’ve preordered myself a copy of Complete Me as well as the new Halloween book releasing later this year. Looking forward to the next series.
The Aspen Ridge series is over & it ended with its fifth & final installment, Complete Me, featuring Kinsey Hayes & Reid Knight. I’ve been looking forward to Reid’s story since I first met him in Unravel Me.
Complete Me finally opened the window into Reid’s past & now I know why he’s a sensitive soul with a dangerous aura. Reid’s past & the catalyst to move to Aspen Ridge is fūckîng sad—and not at all what I expected. Plus, I found out how he & Sawyer became best friends.
As soon as I read Reid’s past & realized he was still living his ‘first’ life, I knew it would affect Kinsey in the way that it did. I didn’t expect it to happen so early on in the story. Then again, it needed to happen because it moved their love story along.
Kinsey fought for herself and wasn’t the usual damsel in distress. I appreciated her more because of it, and I believe it made her a better match for Reid. The only reason why I didn’t think she was a good match beforehand is because I couldn’t tell if they had feelings for each other before her moving above his tattoo parlor or if those feelings developed after she moved in. The attraction on both parts was already there and the chemistry between them started to expand—until it exploded.
Sawyer was a dick, in my opinion, in Complete Me. However, finding out he saved Reid from himself made him less of a dick in my mind. I was also reminded why he acted the way he did: Sawyer loves both Kinsey & Reid, Reid is his best friend who entered into a secret relationship with his sister & he knows Reid’s past & second life.
But as soon as they punched it out in the Hayes’ style, they were good to go.
Mama Hayes easily accepted Kinsey & Reid’s relationship. She had a great revelation for both of them, which was great to read.
Overall this was an emotional and satisfying conclusion to the Aspen Ridge series.
Content Warning: ⚠️ There is a lot of sensitive content in Complete Me, so make sure you read the content warning as Reid & Kinsey’s story isn’t going to be for everyone.
What a PERFECT ending to such an incredible series. I'm so sad it's over but Reid and Kinsey deserved their happy ending.
Reid was always kind of a mystery since he mainly kept to himself while also being the one people went to for help. I knew he had a traumatic past so to finally learn more about him was heartbreaking and also healing because now I understand him more. The way he loves Kinsey is the kind of love every person deserves and it was the most amazing thing to be able to read.
Kinsey is the youngest Hayes sibling and her brothers made sure she never forgot it. She just wanted to be independent and have a little bit of freedom from her overbearing family. Welll..... she got it and MUCH more. 🥹 She was so strong & sassy and doesn't let anyone give her any crap.
This was so fast-moving and we jumped right into the *crazy* moments that had my jaw on the FLOOOOR.
Also... Reid literally says "read to me" and I immediately died. 🥵
Jenn always writes the most amazing spice and this was NO different. Reid was a gentle giant when he needed to be but also could *give* it to Kinsey when she wanted it. 🔥
If y'all haven't read this series yet... what are you doing?! Pick it up right now. K? K.

Finally, we get the baby sister of the Hayes clan’s story and it did not disappoint! Experiencing her brothers through her POV was eye opening and a refreshing perspective.
With a silent and broody MMC and a sassy and strong FMC with insane chemistry.. swoon! The spice was perfection! And she’s a book girlie! Banter abound between the MCs and with other characters from previous books. The group text always gets me laughing. Motorcycle club is one of my fave tropes when done well and the author came through in spades with her depiction. This book had some dark twists and turns so be sure to check your trigger warnings.
I felt so connected to these characters and was on the edge of my seat with some of the thrilling and scary scenes. I laughed, I cried, and I didn’t want it to end. We even get a Ms Nettie cameo! An incredible end to the Aspen Ridge series!
It pains me to write this review as I’ve enjoyed the series this far… but this final one missed the mark for me. It felt rushed and disjointed. All of a sudden these two jump headfirst in to their feelings… it was like all being told with no showing us. Just BAM, we’re supposed to believe everything.
Then Kinsey kidnapping? The shit she went through was glossed over somewhat in her recovery. The answer to being kidnapped, beaten, and spoken to like she was? Reid taking her virginity. (Yes, it was a few days AFTER and nothing immediate, but the sexual stuff felt off so soon) I know everyone heals and processes trauma differently, and this could’ve been believable, but it missed that mark for me.
And the fact her brothers barely fought to see her? Ehhh. We’ve spent a whole series watching this family’s unshakable bond, yet when things go south with Kinsey, they just stand back. It would’ve felt more real if we’d at least seen them blowing up her phone daily with love and support. Instead, that sibling bond was swept under the rug…and it was disappointing.
Then the whole MC vibe… let’s just say if you’ve never read an MC book and are curious, this is an OK start. It felt jumbled and forced.
And finally… Reid never telling his parents about what happened to Lena? That was tough to stomach. I get that it may have served a plot purpose, but it felt unnecessarily cruel to the parents portrayed as, while with quirks of not being perfect (dad wanting him to pursue law)… they’re still loving and devoted. It left a sour taste of how Reid handled it.

- the instalove in this was nuts - cringey dialogue - the FMC had intense ~i’m not like other girls~ vibes 🙄 she was a virgin who never experienced jealousy and didn’t care that the MMC had extensive sexual experience (i.e., was a manwhore who fucked other women out in the open at his clubhouse) because “everyone has a past”? how riveting - speaking of the MMC and all of his sexual experience, i could have done without the multiple references to how much fantastic sex he’d had in the past and how he couldn’t wait to teach the FMC “how good it could be” 😑

Jenn, you already know, but I have to say it again...I'M A FAN FOR LIFE
The end of an era, but what an ending!
I loved these characters to pieces, but I always had an interest in quiet Reid. What was his story? Why didn't he stay for Sunday dinners? What was he running and hiding from? We got all the answers, and they only made me love him more. The grief and pain he's been in for years, the loneliness, the self-imposed exile...until Kinsey brought him back to life. Seeing him fall for her, how he tried to resist because of his friendship with her brother, but in the end, he stood up and claimed his woman, come hell or high water. Yeah, safe to say I was obsessed. And excuse me, he was scorching hot!!
And our girl Kinsey held her ground, not letting her brothers dictate her life, even after THAT crazy thing happened to her; everything was going to be on her terms. I loved her independence, how fierce and loyal, but still standing up for herself, she was with her family. And the fact that she felt she had no friends...I saw a little of myself in her, and I especially loved seeing Hannah include her in her friend group. She was perfect. And I loved reading her story so much!!
Jenn, you already know I'm your loyal follower forever and ever, and I can't wait for that next release! Meanwhile, catch me rereading these bad boys!
Thank you, Jenn and Smuthood, for this e-arc! I'm still kicking my feet at this opportunity!
Quotes:
“You want me dead, sweetheart?” Sweetheart. Yep. I’m wet.
Kinsey Hayes is fucking perfect.
Kinsey is a temptation I don’t need.
“Get in here, big guy.” Damn there are definitely some places I’d like to get into, sweetheart. If you only knew.
I just kept coming back to how badly I want to be the one to tattoo her virgin skin. Hell, I want all her firsts.
If she weren’t off-limits, I would be begging her right now to let me worship her cunt until she’s dripping all over my table.
She smells like fresh flowers and sage, and I’m starting to become addicted to it.
Her hair tie only faintly smells of her. Maybe there’s something else of hers I could take. Just to borrow.
I’ve never wanted to kiss anyone as much as I want to kiss Kinsey Hayes right now.
Fuck everything I said before. Fuck everything except Kinsey Hayes. She’s mine.
“There’s nothin’ to live for anymore.” “Then you wade through the fucking darkness until there is. But you don’t give up. ’Cause someday you’re gonna find your light and all this suffering will be just a distant memory.”
I was a dead man walking until Kinsey Hayes walked into my life, all light and good. She’s my beacon, lighting my way out of the purgatory I’ve been wandering through. She’s my salvation.
I don’t want to fight being with Kinsey. I want to fight to be with Kinsey.
“I’m willing to break all my rules for you. Burn the world down just to be able to look at you. You’re perfect. I can’t breathe when I’m away from you. And when I’m with you, I feel like I finally have a reason for living.”
Having her on my bike? In my arms? Fuck, touching her and making her come? I’m a goner. I don’t deserve her, but I’m gonna make sure I do everything in my power to keep her anyway.
I worship her lips like I have the right to, like she’s the only thing that matters.
“I’ve never wanted someone as much as I want you. It feels like I can’t breathe without you. I’ve never experienced a need so strongly before, like I’ll die without feeling you wrapped around me, your tight pussy pulsing around my cock, the taste of you on my tongue, your body wrapped in my arms.”
All of my fictional book boyfriends have nothing on this.
Reid Knight is a fucking god at eating pussy.
“You’ve brought me back to life, Kins. I don’t deserve you, sweetheart. But I’m gonna keep you. You’re my salvation. My light. I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to be good enough for you.”
“I’m already yours, sweet man. You ready to be the only man who’s ever touched me?”
No one would love her like I do. So I’m going to greedily accept, and I’m not letting her go.
“I can’t believe you’re inside me right now.” “Believe it, because now that I’ve had you, I plan to spend a helluva lot of time in here.”
“Look at my cock covered in your cum, baby. Makes me fuckin’ feral knowing I’m the only one who’s ever been inside this tight pussy.
“That’s it, sweetheart. Be my good girl and show me who this pussy belongs to. ’Cause you’re mine, Kinsey. I’m your first and last. I don’t deserve you, but I’m not giving you up. Come for me, my pretty girl.”
“I love you, little fighter. I’ll do anything to be yours.” “I love you, Reid. I’ll do whatever it takes to keep you.”
She’s gonna be the death of me. Having my face buried between this perfect woman’s legs is an addiction I’ll never kick.
“I love you. Your heart. Your soul. Your body. I love you, Kins.”
“My little fighter. My ride or die. I’m going to spend however long I have on this Earth making you happy.” “As long as you’re by my side, that’s all I need.”
What a beautiful, beautiful story! It was extremely emotional and very intense and I loved every second of it.
Kinsey is a teacher with brothers who are protective to the obnoxious extreme which has made it tough for her to date or have any freedom.
Reid is a tattoo artist with a secret past who is hiding the motorcycle club side of his life from the people in his small town life.
In an effort to gain some freedom & a life of her own, Kinsey rents the apartment above Reid's shop. But she hasn't built many friendships since she moved back after university and her family is busy all the time, which means she is lonely. So, she starts wandering to Reid's shop & visiting with him. They build a friendship while attraction & desire grows between them. But the attraction is not discussed. Not even when he hears having alone time. Everything changes when Reid's past shows up and shatters both of their worlds.
Kinsey is so sweet & fun. You are gonna want to yell at her brothers. A lot. Because she needs a chance to live and breathe without them interfering. She is young but she is also smart & strong & bold. She needs a chance to really step into herself and her power and they need to stop stifling her.
Reid is beautifully heartbreaking. His story will rip your heart out and the way that he supports & protects Kinsey & her needs will help put it back together. He is a wonderful man who doesn't see how good, decent & kind he is.
Together they are stunning and their love story is so different than I expected but so incredibly beautiful & perfect. It is hard and painful but the way they rely on & support each other? The way they talk & trust? Love it!
Make sure to check the content warnings. There are some tough scenes & topics and mental health should always take priority.
I received this as an ARC and am so, so grateful. This had zero influence on my review, which is based entirely on the content & quality of the story itself.
“I’m done pretending there isn’t something between us. Done fighting what’s wrong and right. I was a dead man walking until Kinsey Hayes walked into my life, all light and good. She’s my beacon, lighting my way out of the purgatory I’ve been wandering through. She’s my salvation.”
“Kinsey feels like she could save me. If I cling to her hard enough, maybe I can find peace, accept the peace she brings me, and hopefully, in turn, I can do the same for her.”
“I’m in love with Reid Knight.”
“I’m in love with Kinsey Hayes. Having her on my bike? In my arms? F***, touching her and making her come? I’m a goner. I don’t deserve her, but I’m gonna make sure I do everything in my power to keep her anyway.”
I am blown away! The whole Aspen Ridge series is amazing but Reid and Kinsey’s book is phenomenal! What a way to end a series, going out with a bang. These two are perfect for each other. Kinsey gives Reid the comfort and strength he needs while Reid gives Kinsey the freedom and love she craves. I’m lost for any other words other than absolutely phenomenal! Thank you Jenn for giving us readers this series and these characters. This crazy loud family that loves each other so hard, I’m so sad to say goodbye to all of them. But will definitely be coming back! ❤️

The absolute best ending to this series. You will be hooked from the very beginning and won't want to see the ending, but it is everything I needed from Reid and Kinsey. This book has some heavy aspects, so make sure you check out the warnings before you begin.
Since seeing these two characters throughout this series, it was about time they found their happy ending, and what a ride they went on to find it. Reid, the broody tattoo-artist, and the sweet youngest Hayes sibling, might have been an unlikely pair, but they fit together in the best way.
Reid has a horribly traumatic past, and when it crashes into his present, he immediately goes into high gear to take care of business. Kinsey, who gets caught up in the crossfire, finally sees who Reid really is, and it bonds them in the most healing way.
The Hayes brothers were always so overbearing to Kinsey, and seeing her finally break free and spread her wings, all while being so supported by Reid was so beautiful. The spice was so good, with Reid going above and beyond to show her he was the only one she would ever need.
This book is raw, so emotional, but also shows so much hope. The character development was so strong, and all of the glimpses of our favorite characters were like a warm hug for the finale of this amazing series.
I loved this book so much and I now need to go back and read the entire series because this book has me in all the feels.
This is the last book in the Aspen Ridge series and although, I’ve only read the novellas, I know Jenn put her all into this series, especially this last one.
I was crying from the first chapter, that prologue hurt so bad and my heart ached for Reid because of his backstory (and Chaos too, my heart broke).
Reid had been living in darkness for so long and Kinsey shined lightness into his world like never before.
Reid’s way with Kinsey is one of a kind. I love how soft he was with her, even when he’s doing his best to stay away because that’s his bestfriend’s sister. The way he left his favorite book outside her door with marked chapters had my heart so full.
Kinsey is incredibly strong, a true fighter. She’s finding her freedom away from her overprotective brothers and I loved watching her realize her own power and strength. I, also, loved how she stood up to her brothers in the end, they were not getting in the way of her happiness.
This book had me in chokehold from the very beginning. You’ll cry, you’ll laugh, the spice is also amazing (hello motorcycle part 😮💨), it has it all.
Thank you Jenn and The Smuthood for the early copy!
4.5 stars Jenn Plummer delivers a powerful and emotional finale to the Aspen Ridge series with Complete Me, a darker, twisty, and deeply heartfelt story that stands out as one of the best in the series. While it's tough to choose favorites, the first and final books leave the biggest impact, with Complete Me offering a remarkable journey of heartbreak, healing, and love.
Kinsey, the youngest Hayes sibling, is tired of being overly protected by her intense, brooding brothers. Seeking independence, she moves into an apartment above a tattoo shop—right over her brother’s best friend, Reid. He’s a man wrapped in mystery and pain, but underneath, he's all heart. Their chemistry simmers from the start, and when tragedy nearly strikes, Reid steps in, igniting a bond built on trust, vulnerability, and quiet strength.
This story beautifully captures what it means to rebuild after loss, with two characters who support and save each other in all the right ways. Kinsey’s determination to stand on her own and Reid’s journey from isolation to openness is touching and authentic. Their connection is electric, intimate, and deeply earned.
A truly satisfying and emotional end to the Aspen Ridge world—Jenn Plummer has crafted a series full of raw emotion, gripping twists, and unforgettable love stories, and Complete Me is the perfect final chapter.
Mr. Knight, why do you have to be that perfect, tattooed, bike-riding book-lover who makes me blush like this? ☺️ Aaah… I think my heart stopped entirely 😂
He got a dark past, broken, hiding secrets that tortured him, living a double life, shutting his heart away, believing he didn't deserve love… until her. His best friend's little sister walks in and shatters his wall, lighting a fire he didn't know existed, awakens a desire he never felt and turns his entire world upside down 🖤
She's craving freedom, away from her brother's claws, chasing the life she always wanted and somehow lands right in his arms. What should have been casual hangouts ignites into something hotter, deeper, and dangerously addictive passion neither expected… all while shadows from his past threaten to consume them 💔
This is the story of Rogue and his little fighter, where love, heat, and a touch of danger wrapped in one 🖤
A 5☆ read, and I wouldn't mind reading every single one of my books from his lap… any day, every day, until my voice is hoarse 🙈🌶
⚠️ Okay, before we all start drooling over our big man 🤤, this book is intense. Some content may not be for everyone, so please check the trigger warnings. Your mental health matters 🌼
Reid’s story was everything I was hoping it would be. His past is tragic but he still has this huge heart underneath it all and he cares fiercely for his people. Kinsey is just about done being under her big brothers’ thumbs but is used to not having a relationship bc they scare off any and all men.
The complexity of Reid being Sawyer’s best friend (and the fact that he basically saved Reid’s life) and the undeniable pull between Reid and Kinsey made things intense from the get go. And the fact that this story had a more action packed suspense element made it even more intriguing.
Jenn’s writes delicious spice, which in this case is extra satisfying given Kinsey’s history with men. Their emotional connection can be felt and seemed genuine from the start. I’m so glad we got Reid’s HEA - this was a perfect way to end this series, which I’ve loved from Book 1. Jenn nailed the found family aspect and has you rooting for these characters and excited for everyone’s individual stories.
Great read!! This book pulled me in right from the prologue where I teared up for poor Reid 💔
Now 10 years later Reid had put some distance between him and that life but knowing he can never truly leave completely, yet he hides it to keep those he cares about safe. Kinsey, the youngest of the Hayes siblings and the only girl, finally moves out to try and find who she is on her own. Possibly even finding someone willing to finally fight for her and not let her brothers scare them off.
These two have known each other for years but now being close and spending time together things starts to change between them. Reid was willing to fight it until “that”happened, now he’ll do anything to make her his and keep her.
It’s emotional, heartbreaking, angsty, with great spice. Well written and totally worth the read.
There’s no cheating, no OWD, no third act breakup with a HEA.
While in my opinion it’s not a dark book it does have some dark aspects so make sure you check the triggers if needed.

I was so excited to read this book - any of Jenn Plummer books coming my way make me SO EXCITED! This is Reid’s story and it was so worth the wait for this man to get his happy ending.
Rogue /rōɡ/ noun an elephant or other large, wild animal driven away or living apart from the herd and having savage or destructive tendencies.
Complete Me follows MMC Reid who owns a tattoo shop and is in a motorcycle club. His father, a prestigious big shot lawyer, didn’t exactly love that he had skipped college and started a tattoo apprenticeship, but Reid was his own man.
It just so happens that our FMC Kinsey moves upstairs from Reid’s tattoo shop in Aspen Ridge. Even with her older brothers watching her like a hawk, she manages to spend time with Reid. All Kinsey really wants is to find love like her brothers have.
When’s something awful happens Reid immediately jumps into action to do anything he can for Kinsey. It is through the situation they are both in that takes their relationship to another level.
Ive said this before and I will say it again - no one writes spice like Jenn Plummer. The way she puts all those nasty, naughty thoughts and words together on a page is just a work of art. No other author gets my dirty mind like her. haha!
A million stars, worth the wait, so good! First, check all trigger warnings Jenn provides because there definitely are some triggers throughout the story! The story was so good from start to finish - Learning about Reid and his background and him and Kinsey starting their relationship. I mean throughout all the books - it just felt that that was the only person she was supposed to end up with, so it was special to finally have their story! I cried a few times, laughed, and the spice (as per always with Jenn’s books) was exquisite. I will be sad to leave Aspen Ridge (so def expect random postings about this series because I truly loved it so much) but can’t wait to see what’s next!
"I'm trying to be a good man, Kinsey. But the urge to claim you is strong."
Phew! I devoured this book! Almost pulled an all nighter. 🤏🏻 I still can’t believe this series has ended! My heart is full.
You get to see how and Why Reid is the way that he is. That man ugh he needs the biggest hug! The secrets he kept bottled up…
And then you have the baby sister of the Hayes clan, Kinsey. She’s just trying to be on her own. Be herself without the overbearing brother’s. That took a turn!
These two are made for the stars! There’s no other way around it!
I melted when Reid said “Read to me” ahhhhhhh!!!!😮💨🫠🫡
Thank you Jenn Plummer for giving me the opportunity to read Complete Me in advance!
4.5⭐️: Reid Knight though 😍😍😍. I could not put this book down! My heart broke for Reid when we learned about his sister. Made sense why Reid was just a shell of himself. Kinsey really was the light to his dark. The two of them together was 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻. The exchange of books and little notes between them was 🥰. The first half was action packed and I really loved how Reid fought for Kinsey in all the ways that matter. This was a bit of a slow burn and the build up of tension between Kins and Reid made the spice 🥵🥵🥵🔥🔥🔥. What a great way to end the series!
Oh my god. What an unbelievable ending to the best series to exist. Such a different story than i was expecting but truly in the best way possible. I loved kins and Reid so deeply especially how understanding and supportive they were of each other. There were so many parts of the story i wanted to hug both of them and the plot was juicy and fast paced without feeling rushed. 5 stars (shocking i know - every book in this series is clearly a BANGER!!!)
First off, don’t let the cover fool you. This book? It. Is. FIRE. 🔥🔥🔥
I'm saying full-blown MC romance with grit, steam, and a man who’ll melt your Kindle and then read to you while you recover. 🥵
🏍️ Motorcycle Club 👊 Brother’s Best Friend 🛏️ One Bed 🕵️ Secret Life 😏 “It Will Fit” (and oh boy… it does 😮💨) 😇 Virgin FMC ❤️🩹 Hurt / Comfort 🔥 High Heat, High Stakes, and High Obsession
Rogue is pure unhinged chaos in all the best ways. But Reid? He’s the dream. The man will wreck your soul and then read to your heart. Literal perfection wrapped in leather and secrets. 😭💘
