I've been an avid book reader since I was a teenager in the 1980's. My preferred genre's are science fiction and fantasy.

I wrote some short stories and was encouraged to try writing and self publishing by some friends. I work in computers and writing is an obsessive hobby I have been trying to hone for a couple of years now. I'll let you judge if I have succeeded or not.

a positive ending

A positive ending to a very thought provoking storyline . I found it an interesting but not gripping read. Worth a read though .

Really do not like first person delivery in storytelling

Truly original (at least to me!) take on magic

This author has deeply thought about magic, its makeup, its building blocks, and intricacies. So so interesting! It is so elegant and simple, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out they are right (at least partially for sure)! I appreciate the author made it a happy ending, gave her a solid true love throughout it (I can see how it would’ve been tempting to make that a way to extend the series by several books, but I think it would’ve diluted the impact of the books) and kept the storyline focused. Engrossing read, highly recommend!!!

From the standpoint of MC development and concept this is a great series. However the quality of the writing went down hill a little on book two and more so on this the last volume. This last volume is short and feels rushed w/o the authors usual attention to detail. It's nice to have a series with a definitive end, to bad it ends with a whimper.

Good series. Pretty well thought out.

Magic in today’s world and the consequences of it. Some things missed, but over all a well thought out series. With the events of the last book, I’m not sure how one would proceed to create another book.

Very short

The story is alright but not very well written. It’s certainly entertaining but the descriptions and actions in a novel should be shown more in the writing and not just told to the reader. I don’t think I would have read this one if it wasn’t on kindle unlimited.

Always wish there was more

Well definitely wish there was more to this story like any good book I have read you don't want it to end! As always super heros that act like superheros. But get extremely wealthy fun and glamorous.

Excellent Read

Maya continues to learn magic which is a good thing since many try to kill her because of her moral stand. She tries to enforce crimes while maintaining her stance of not killing. I like the action, humor, and intrigue.

Great book

This book is one of the authors best series I just wish there was more books. There seems to be so much more stories for this series to explore. Especially how all the magic and understanding of runes would effect the baby girl Maya is carrying.

Excellent trilogy

Needed to be longer with more action. The internal dialog was good, but it needed to be broken up more. Still enjoyed the books. Still gave them all 5*.
