Blood by Ker Dukey. Princess, aka Rogue, has spent her entire life as part of The Devil's MC. She is also getting ready to marry Tyler, the president of the club. When her sister is killed, she leaves her fiance to find out who killed her and avenge her death. She thinks a rival MC has killed her sister, so she goes undercover. Rogue didn't expect her time undercover to play with her emotions. She especially didn't see herself having a sexual attraction to the President of the club. She has seen pictures of Callan back at her club, so she knew he was extremely good-looking. However, she wasn't prepared for Callan in person. Trying to stay true to her mission is becoming increasingly difficult. Her preconceived notions of who the King of Sins are is slowly being destroyed. The sexual tension between her and Callan is getting stronger and stronger to resist. She needs to stay on task. She also has to deal with keeping her identity a secret. This story was so good and a fabulous start to this series. I'm not sure how many books there will be. I don't care how many there will be, I am here for them all. The end of this book left me with my mouth gapped wide open. I am so looking forward to the conclusion to Rogue's sister's death, along with the end result of Callan and Rogue's relationship. There are other things going on as well, but those 2 things are at the top of my list. 5 stars for me.

It's been a long time since I've read a Ker Dukey book, and I really enjoyed going back to her work. Blood is the first opus of the Kings of Sin series. It deals with Callan and Rogue's forbidden story.
I like the MC universe and atmosohere, I could imagine myself right with them in the club.
The characters felt relatable. I absolutely loved the tension, the violence and the intrigue.
This story was utterly enthralling and entertaining.

A fascinating forbidden. hate to love romance between Callan “Pain” Cox and Princess “Rogue” Stewart. One a Devil and the other a King, drawn together after family tragedies. Can they find a way to be a couple or are there too many lies and secrets between them and people waiting to destroy their love. Rogue wanted blood but falls Callan and now she doesn’t know who her enemy is.

When Callan puts doubts in her mind, she wonders if she has jumped to conclusions because now she has got to know the Kings she’s not convinced they are involved. Callan has some interesting confessions when they confront each other. Is her sister’s death connected to their presidents death? Is either club to blame or is someone else involved?
There are some amazing plot twists that will have you questioning everything that you have read so far. What will happen when everyone finds out the truth. Will they feel betrayed or will they understand Rogue’s motives. It ends on a cliffhanger with a devastating incident that threatens to destroys Rogue. A fantastic start to a new series. Can’t wait to get all the answers in War #2 coming next month.

I’m obsessed with this author! So excited to have another story by her! Blood kept me on my toes, made me feel things I didn’t realize I could feel! The characters were such a delight and their story was so tragic. I really enjoyed the plot twists! MC books are still not my forté but that doesn’t mean I won’t read and enjoy them!
If I could read any author for the first time again it would be this one!

It has been awhile since I read a book by this author and this was a good one to read. The story is told from Rogue's POV, she is a strong young woman determined to get answers and revenge. I enjoyed getting to know Rogue and seeing her stand up for herself against the men in her MC. The rival club, Kings of Sin MC are her prime suspects and she decides to get to know them better however the VP may be a man too hard to resist. There are lots of twists in the storyline that keep you guessing, with my suspicions about who really did it changing constantly. I loved the banter between Rogue and Pain, the sexual tension was off the charts. The book ends on a cliffhanger but book two War is coming soon.

Lord. Have. Mercy. Please give me all things Callen "Pain" Cox. It's been a hot minute since I've enjoyed a book boyfriend this much. Or one has left me so affected.
Have you met Callen yet? If not, then what are you waiting for? If you have, then you already know this SEXY AS FUCK man is downright FILTHY and absolutely DELICIOUS. Holy. Shit. Balls. What a wild ride he is. Pain's intensity and dominance brought me straight to my knees. Our resident VP's possessive, touch her and die mentality had my head spinning and my body humming with need and want.
If you are like me and over the top, jealous alphaholes are your kryptonite, Callen Cox is your man.
Then there's our girl, Rogue. She's a take no shit, sexy, badass spitfire. Our biker brat held her own amongst these "savages," often times giving as good as she got. Baby girl's fucking fierce. She makes it known real quick she ain't eating no one's disrespect, man or woman. And at the same time, she's loyal as fuck--even to people she thinks murdered her sister. A true Queen to Callen's King.
I loved these two as individuals, but Callen & Rogue together are something quite spectacular. A power couple. Their chemistry in and out of the bedroom set the pages on fire. And I certainly couldn't get enough of them. Their raw and gritty personalities grabbed my attention from the first page and kept me enthralled until the last. The chaotic connection and tension between them was hella fire. So tangible, I felt as though I was standing right there with them.
Let me not forget the supporting characters. Especially Kitty (I really envied her relationship with Rogue) and Tim. They all left me wanting to become a part of their inner circle. My FAVORITE part about this read was all of the characters. They made this read for me and will be on my reread shelf for years to come.
I'm truly surprised becauseBlood & War are not the norm for me. I don't do biker books. They just aren't my cuppa. It's a genre/trope I've just never really been able to sink my teeth into. But something about this series called to me and I needed a palate change. Book slumps suck. So I requested an ARC.
I'm so glad I took the chance, though, and gave this a try. Ker Dukey's a new to me author. One I'm so delighted to have found. Especially since I'm pretty picky with my reads, lately. Most end up on the DNF list or take me weeks to finish. It says a lot about her writing that I devoured both of these in a matter of days and LOVE them. I'll definitely be checking out her other books, especially if they have similar type male & female leads.
If you can't tell, I HIGHLY recommend the Kings of Sin series. I hope you become as obsessed as I did with it. Thank you, Ms. Dukey, for taking me out of my reading slump, even if it's just for a couple of days.

This book pulled me right from the start. Even though Rogue had me doubtful as to if I liked her or not, but her story pulled me from that first page and right from the start things happen that you want Rogue to find her justice too for what happened.
Right before her wedding day to her club's president and a lying cheater, Rogue finds her sweet sister is nowhere to be found and when she finds what has happened and a single clue to lead her to the culprit, all that's on Rogue's mind is to find that person who's responsible for stealing her life's light.
The same clue leads her to the doors of their rival MC and Rogue hides her real identity to find her way in that would hopefully lead her to the person she's searching for.
Ooohh.... The secret spy operation kinda felt like a daredevil thing and I was both scared and also cheering for Rogue for having the guts to do what she's doing.
I was also so on edge watching Rogue as she has to hide this from her own MC club and her ex fiance who doesn't think he's her ex anymore and also a man who's just not worthy of her.
But....the freaking twister... When she feels these on fire sparks flying between her and none other than the rival MC club's VP, Callan...Oohhh.. the drama just escalates.
Callan is a man that still has me a bit perplexed and after the hot and cold turns of his mood, he's definitely made my head go crazy.
This book might not be that spicy but my goodness it's freaking HOTTT for some things that happen.
As Rogue slowly starts getting near and near the Kings, things become too blurred for her as the lines are getting tangled between retribution and desires that go deep as feelings.
We also have unexpected friendships seen, between Rogue and Kitty, Callan's sister but there are lots of other complicated relationships of other members we see including Kitty and her messed up tangled relationship with Cutter and then... What was that with...
The ending had me shocked and also feeling so much for Rogue because I don't understand why it happened what did, but certainly that doesn't have to be the price to keep her secrets by hurting someone emotionally that way.
Can't wait to dive in the next book and find out what happens. Loved this one.

And they accept Rogue because she is just a hard and crazy as they are. Kitty brought her back to the club and they both found a friendship/sister in one another. Get ready to see some girl power with Kitty & Rogue together with the amazing Diamond

Loved it!
I could not get enough of Rogue and Callan.
She’s the Princess of the Devils Skull Riders MC. He’s the VP of Kings of Sin MC.
Rival MC.
Rogue is one kickass lady. Raised in a MC she knows how to hold her own.
She’s tough, strong and brave. She’s loyal and someone you absolutely want on your side.
Callan is on lethal man. He has to be considering he’s the VP of a notorious MC.
He doesn’t take any BS, you cross him you don’t get a second chance.
Each of them as individuals are people you don’t want to mess with.
As a couple they would be a freaking force to be reckoned with.
But each of the have secrets they are hiding. Ulterior motives are in play.
And all will come crashing down when the truth comes out.
The book had me consumed and enthralled. I just couldn’t put it down.
I adored Callan and Rogue. Their chemistry is incredible. The sexual tension intense.
The energy between them powerful. When the time comes for them, I know I am going to witness one spectacular explosion. That is how intense and hot they are together.
The secondary characters are also interesting and intriguing. Some I liked. I few I’d like to punch.
I’m of course excited about reading the next book, War, especially after that ending!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author tor review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the story of Rogue. Told solely from her point of view. She is one character that you are going to absolutely love. She is also on a mission for revenge against the Kings of Sin MC. They are a rival club and she wants blood. Their vice president Pain is however one of the hottest men she has ever laid her eyes on. She needs to keep her head in the game though because hating this man, no matter how hard she tries is hard for her to do. She could fall so easily for him and finds herself instead of fighting him she is falling for him. He doesn't know who she is. But, when he finds out it is not going to be good. I can't tell you much about this story. I don't want to give anything away. I loved Rogue or Princess. She is tough as nails and gives as good as she gets. Pain is a man who doesn't trust easily and he finds it as hard to resist her as she does him. But how can he trust this woman? There are twists and turns and moments that will leave you breathless. This is a book you do not want to miss.

I got sucked into this baby from the start, kept turning those pages and even knowing there would be a cliffy coming, was still all kinds of grrrrr when it was confirmed I’d have to practice patience to find out what would happen next ~ great place to “pause” things btw.
But, I adored Rogue. She be acting out of turn, but I get it had things gone down differently when things went down…maybe she wouldn’t have, but that fire and rage would still be there. I love her attitude and fire and her vulnerability despite the fact that the outcome of all that is happening is still unknown As far as Callan is concerned? I like him ~ we’ll leave it at that for now. But the chemistry between them in intense and no matter where the sword falls, they will both burn.
Short and a bit vague, but we have a cliffy, so it’s to be expected. But what I will say is that I do have some favs and all I can hope for is that they will make it out alive when everything comes to a head.

Seriously! Ker Dukey, you can’t leave us hanging there!!! OMG I have done nothing today but read this story, AND there are a million other things that needed my attention too! I couldn’t have put my Kindle down if I tried and being so hooked on this story, I didn’t have the thought to try.
Blood is penned using Rogue’s sole POV which is perfect for this storyline. I absolutely adore this young woman. She’s quick thinking and I love it when she stands up for either herself or others close to her. I completely understand her heartache and her need for revenge. The twists and turns throughout this narrative have kept me sitting on the edge of my seat. I have no idea what is going to happen next but I am desperate to discover what that is.
I always have high expectations when reading a story written by Ker Dukey and I am never left disappointed. For those who enjoy dark/MC romance stories I highly recommend Blood to you to read.

Rogue is about to marry the wrong man when tragedy strikes her family, and she cares nothing about that wedding because revenge is the only thing on her mind. If the MC she was part of wasn't about to do anything about it, then she would go at it alone. This girl is super tough and I was all about her. She finds her way to the MC who was responsible but little did she know she would meet her true match in Callan, and the sparks are definitely flying all around them. She's leading him on a merry chase though because she doesn't want him to know the truth about who she is, so it's an intense push & pull but you already know this life has a way of revealing secrets. This is only the first part of their story so I'm dying inside for more for real as Blood was dark & dirty and oh so delicious. Plus there are the twists & turns that kept me guessing on top of the anxiety of that other shoe dropping so I definitely couldn't get enough! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

But that's the least of her problems when she learns her sister has been murdered. She's the most important person to her in the entire world which means she'll do anything to get her vengeance....
Callan Pain is the newly appointed Prez in the Kings MC and when his sister brings her new friend into their circle, attraction sizzles yet he knows there's more than meets the eye...
What was supposed to be a straightforward get in, get vengeance, get out, soon becomes a blur when she she realises they may not be the enemy after all and she may have found her place in the world...
Excellent intriguing characters as well as a storyline, so excited for the next part!!

Okay I knew going in that this was book was part 1 of this duet and that it would probably end on a cliffie, and it did, argh! Still didn't stop me from an audible gasp from me at the end of Blood.
Rogue is after revenge for her sister, and she is in the Devils MC. Callan belongs to the Kings of Sin MC and is their VP. Can you see the problem here?
OMG this book was good! No boredom here while reading this thrilling first book in this duet. Now I can’t wait for the next book, War. Fortunately, the second part of this duet will be out next month so not to long of a wait.

I’ve been a fan of Ker Dukey for a long time. Her stories develop steadily as each suspense moment foreshadows others. In her recent release, readers are introduced to a motorcycle club world, a strong FMC, and a mysterious unfortunate event right from the beginning.
Rogue gives off one of those unstoppable energies. However, Callan is quite distracting to her, which makes their interactions in the story more interesting. I like his character quite a bit, and I hope to see his POV in Book 2.
Ker Dukey’s writing pulls readers so far into the story that time flies, and the next thing you know, you have a fairly dramatic cliffhanger. I say dramatic because my reaction was.
Book 2 is “War,” and I look forward to discovering how this story unfolds. And I know Ker Dukey will surpass my expectations.

I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this book!
Rogue has had a lot of darkness in her life. With a new darkness added she decides to take matters into her own hands and get revenge and make them pay for their sins in blood. However, she's not prepared for how things will turn out. It could mean her blood when her identity is revealed.
Pain knows a lot of what is going on around him. When he spots Rogue in his bar talking to his sister he's intrigued and she's invited back to the clubhouse. Things get heated and lines are blurred for both of them.
I was so invested in this story. I love Rogue and Pain and the story pulled me in so quickly. I'm anxiously waiting for War and the continuation to this story.

WHAT!!! So, here I am, reading happily, entranced in this story, when suddenly, out of nowhere, it ends. Now, I will follow that with, yes, I did know this would end in a cliffy, I just wasn't ready at that point, I had no clue that I had already read the whole book for it to be even close to the end. That my friends, is an example of a good book. The story that Ker Dukey created, sucks you in, from the very first word and at the end you are spit out.... well, we won't go into what gets spit out. I am eagerly waiting for the second of Rogue and Callen's story. I give this first part 5 stars.

While Rogue and Callan come from rival MC's, they slowly get pulled together into something more. That's of push and pull between them, but Georgina is nothing but a nosey fly and will only continue to cause problems if Callan doesn't let her go... for good. While she knows Rogue's secret, she's a liability.
If Rogue truly is his Queen, as Callan claims, they need to work out their differences. Rogue doesn't want to go back to her old club and old crew and old life without answers. Or ever.
Looking forward to book 2 as that ending has me furious!

I’ve read several books by this author and I always walk away thinking now that was a good book! It’s exciting, sexy and there are secrets. Two different biker clubs, both dangerous and both full of great characters.

I’ve read several books by this author and I always walk away thinking now that was a good book! It’s exciting, sexy and there are secrets. Two different biker clubs, both dangerous and both full of great characters.

I don't even know where to begin, I was actually perched on the edge of my seat throughout this whole book.
Murder, rival clubs, secrets and what could possibly be an *unalive* mission, and throw in a hot President, because why not?!
It feels like its been way too long since I've had an MC book that consumed me like Blood did.
The revelations are absolutely mind blowing, and that ending.......or should I say cliffhanger, LOVED IT.
And there's no way I could end this review without mentioning Georgina......that girl, isn't good.

On a quest to find out who killed her sister, Rogue ( princess) is on the understanding that a rival MC killed her so off she goes hell bent on revenge.. Having infiltrated the MC she starts having conflicting feelings and she wasn’t prepared for Callan.. Their chemistry was off the charts and they both find it’s hard to resist … I really enjoyed this book, meeting the MC , going with the twists and turns and all is not what it seems I’m looking forward to seeing how this pans out.

First of all, yes, this is a cliffhanger book, BUT, it's 1000% worth it. Promise! This book consumed me. It was like reading a movie, IYKYK. The characters are so real, but also come with some dark baggage. The twist and turns are so good. I like being kept on my toes and this book did that and more. So, so good! That cliffy 😮💨 That's rough, but omg, I flove this book. Cannot recommend enough. Read this then jump right into War!!
