Damn. I wanted this to be way more angsty. Though that first chapter though. Am I right? Guess vampires are dum dums just like human men 😆. He does cheat, but can't control it. These vampires have a feed and release going on. I'm sure you can guess the release. His wife's blood sours and he doesn't tell her because he doesn't want to divorce. He loves her. He tries not to feed at all which is against the law in this world because they will become violent if they don't. OW recognizes this and purposely cuts herself. Suffice to say he couldn't help himself because it had already been 2 weeks since his last feeding. He tries to stop the ow's future advancements by firing her and moving her to the other side of the country but she's like a super spy when it comes to disguises and gets him every time. If only he had told Faina that her blood had soured thing's could have gone differently. But as the story goes you can't really blame the guy because it was just in the nature of things.

Another 5⭐️ read!

This was sooooo good! I was mad as hell, which I think I needed for a little bit! I also LOVED the addition of fantasy / sci-fi .. I didn’t feel like it was cutting away from the main point in the book! GroveltoHEA just knows exactly what to do and how to write a book that encompasses and covers so much ground!

Ughh I loved this book so much that I was disappointed it ended so soon!! I love it when the love between the characters leaps off the page!! The cheating is in the gray area because it was not technically cheating!! Anyways I loved the ending of the nasty and conniving OW and there are a few very interesting twists!! I absolutely loved this book!! This author is probably my favorite when it comes to grovel!!

I really liked this story. Follows the same idea as the other grovel2Hea, but different with the vampire element, and all is not what it seems. The description/ notes on vampires history at the beginning was well worth the authors time. Really different but enjoyable.

The twists in here were fantastic! I don't want to say too much and ruin it for anyone, just know that Alaric and Faina love one another despite what happens. And that nearly broke my heart.
