Discipleship is a crazy and wonderful thing. Following Jesus has looked very different in the last several years. This is mainly because it has been defined, even subconsciously, as an information transfer instead of following in the footsteps and desires of Jesus, the way he lived, and the way he wants us to live. In this book, Martin Holman walks through a plan of following Jesus and changing our spiritual health that looks similar to changing our physical health. Phase 6 can help you understand why sometimes our spiritual lives feel empty and stalled, and who might be responsible for keeping us there.
Join Martin as he moves you through the difficult task of spiritual health into getting into tip top spiritual shape.
This book takes an extremely unique, but in so many ways common sense look at how to truly disciple people into a stronger relationship with Jesus and finding their true vocation in his kingdom. Heavy sentence, I know, but as the Holman says early on, most churches (sometimes with good intentions, sometimes not) are at least partly responsible for keeping their people stuck in early phase Christianity, instead of moving them forward, and yes sometimes out, into their true calling. Highly, highly recommend both for my fellow church leaders and Christians just starting out!
This book was a labor of love to write and I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to publish it. I pray it will a book that helps people get spiritually healthy in Jesus. Thanks for reading it!
