She has no clue, as I stare into those innocent blue eyes, that she owns me. Every single piece of me is hers to love or destroy.
Ryder
I’ve loved her since the first moment I laid eyes on her. She’s my evening sun, the other half of my soul that I can’t live without. When she leaves without a trace, she takes a piece of me that, no matter how hard I try, I can’t get back. For three years, I’ve lived with her ghost. When I come face to face with the blue eyes that have broken me... is it too late to get past all the hurt, or is she the one person who can unbreak me?
Eve
I was forced to leave the only one who ever made me feel loved. A part of me died that day, and I vowed to find a way back to him no matter what it took. Arriving on his doorstep three years later, I pray it’s not too late, but when he sees the little girl with his grey eyes, will hearts get broken all over again, or are some things in life worth taking a second chance on?

Sophia Belle is an author of Contemporary Romances. She loves writing about small-town romances where the guys have boy-next-door qualities but turn up the spice in the bedroom. Her dirty-talking, possessive, golden retrievers at heart—fall hard and love even harder.
When she's not writing, you can find her boating with her family on the weekends, enjoying the beaches, homeschooling their youngest, and going on fun group dates with their friends. She lives in Florida with her husband, three children, and two golden retrievers, and yes, Mimi and Papaw live above the garage, just like in the book.
A note from Sophia:
One night, I dreamed about the characters from Connected by Souls. I woke up in the middle of the night, opened my laptop, and started writing. I have always been an avid reader, but I had no clue what I was doing. I was having so much fun writing that I told myself if I only did this for my eyes, it would be enough because it brought me so much joy.
Before I knew it, I had an entire novel sitting in front of me. A novel I cried and laughed with while sitting in the dark by myself, typing away in the still of the night. A story I knew needed to be shared with others.
I've opened up this whole creative world that I didn't know existed inside me, and I never want it to end. Writing has given me something I can own outside of being a mom. A sense of accomplishment and joy that I didn't know was missing.
I look forward to beginning my journey as an author, and I’m excited to connect with my readers on a deeper level. I've put my heart and soul into what I write, and my wish for you is to feel connected to my characters as much as I do.
She is celibate and he is not 3 years separarion She was completely devastated and couldnt even think about kissing other boys He was mad she left so used this as an excuse to six months ago started going home with girls and getting them off and letting them suck him off
I kid you not, the author wrote it as it was a honor to those six girls that he allowed them to blow him after he fingered them
Ohh we are also supposed to believe it was nothing big because he didn't kiss any girl 🙄 yeah that nasty mindset that if he pictured her while being with someone else than it is okay
Ohh and her reaction after knowing he was being bloq by others? Going down on her knees for him to erase the other girls memories from his penis
Look like a bad story from 2016 but it is 2024

I’ve never been a fan of seeing the hero with other women, especially when it’s the opening scene of the book 😐. Oftentimes, I get confused as to who the heroine will be when this happens (plus. Why am I seeing the hero with a woman that isn’t the heroine/is inconsequential?)
I DONT find it swoony to have another woman down on her knees while he’s picturing the love of his life 🤷🏻♀️.
I ESPECIALLY don’t like it when the heroine finds out he’s been getting bjs from random women and then proceeds to “prove” why her bjs/her mouth will be better 🥴.
What she SHOULDVE done was tell him that he will never get a bj from her anymore 🤷🏻♀️. Now THAT I would’ve appreciated 💅👏🏻
While all this is happening (during the separations), she’s off having his kid, being CELIBATE, all while protecting him...
Not. For. Me.

I don’t love it but I don’t hate it either. The heroine disappears and leaves the hero without even a text or a goodbye. Three years later she’s back with their lil daughter. She was a teenager and her father was a thug and threatened to ruin not only the hero but all in his family if the heroine didn’t leave with her family. Now the father is in jail and she’s back to the hero. The hero never forgot about her and looked for her but wasn’t able, her father is rich and nobody could find them. But he moved on. He had bj with several girls the last six months. When the heroine is back he’s just met a girl and he’s thinking that she can be the right one to move on, that is to date, kiss, have sex, have a relationship. Can I really blame him? Not completely. The heroine simply dumped him and left with her family, its not as if she disappeared and was kidnapped, he knew she left on her own will, so he tried after two years and a half, to move on somehow. Of course I would have loved him to be truth to her, it’s not as if they were separated for ten years, but he thought she had found another man and simply didn’t care for him. What I didn’t like was the explicit sex scene in the beginning with another girl. That was really tasteless and not necessary. Then the hero keeps blowing hot and cold, because he’s angry that she left him and he doesn’t trust her. Ok, I can understand the trust issues, but his behavior was schizoid. A lot of sex scenes that basically were half of the book. A bit of ow drama because the heroine had to see some of the girls he had bj, since they apparently live in the same town. Yuck.
First I feel I need to state that I am OBSESSED with these Montgomery men! (You need to read Travis book connected by love to start at the beginning of them).
Now that we have that out of the way. This book is a lot. There is a lot to unpack and a lot to process. Sophia stepped up her game in this series! There were shocks, gasps, tears, yelling, and yes even book smacking shut. I did not expect the turns we took and understanding Eve and Ryder even more was the story I had been dying to read!
Ryder is a dedicated, hardworking, business man, and kind of hit it and quit it. His heart was broken long ago and he has hard rules for the women he associates with because at the end of the day his cars are the only things that won’t leave him. On the day he decides that it’s time for him to let his heart move on, try and take the chance, rip that band aid off! Is the day his entire world will change - if Ryder can let the anger go it may be the best ride of his life.
Eve is a single mom of the cutest little girl on earth! And every time Eve looks at her daughter’s eyes she is lost in the moment to the man who will forever hold her heart. Eve’s life has been nothing as it seems to the outside world. She is finally done playing pretend and is ready to take the jump, but the question will be is will he still want her after everything has changed?
These two are high school sweethearts, forbidden love, secret relationship, and full of angst, banter and spice! The chemistry between these two is unlike any other and it’s just a matter of time to see if they will burn each other or the world down.
Sophia is an instant buy for me as an author! Her books always capture all the feels and she is constantly dropping her little Easter eggs. Her two series being interconnected keeps me getting my fill of my loved characters before but never overshadowing the relationship at hand. 🫶
Not to give any spoilers you will be throughly shocked at the secrets unfolded in this book! They are nothing like before! But I can safely say there is NO car accident in this book ❤️
I really liked the book but did not give it a 5-star rating because I hate it when books start with the MMC having s*x with someone who's not the FMC. This is something I feel that is redundant and kind of puts me off. He does wait for her and I am not going to say he did a wrong thing by trying to move on but I just feel that there is no need to start a chapter with him doing anything with someone we know is not going to be an important part of the story. Then there was the fact that I thought he was being mean to the FMC but then I put myself in his shoes and I realized that yeah if my boyfriend had pulled this kind of stunt I would be just as mad, if not more, and give him hell for doing what he did. The progress was great. The parts where Ryder's(MMC) brothers would give him hell and also make him jealous by flirting with Eve(FMC) were cute. The rebuilding of their trust and relationship was done right. I also liked that there weren't a lot of switches from present to past and this kind of highlighted the point that regardless of what had happened in the past it wouldn't affect what they are trying to rebuild because what we have is here and now and while the history gave the necessary foundation to their story, it wasn't something they dwelled on a lot. Overall it was a fun quick read and I would recommend it people who like second-chance, single parent romance.

I haven’t cried reading a book as much as I did while reading this one. Ryder and Eve’s story broke my heart and then put it right back together. What they had to go through to be together, my theory had been completely wrong!
Ryder and Eve definitely were made for each other, and getting through a family situation on her side, I personally feel like she grew up alot, found strength in that.
I’m so proud of Eve for fighting back, and taking her happily ever after that she deserved. Little Rybug?! Omg don’t get me started on that adorable child.
If you love family, friends, Second Chance, a little angst, and spice this is definitely a good read for you!
I will ALWAYS recommend anything by the wonderful Sophia Belle. She knows how to tug at your heart, and then put it back together 10x better.
I received this as an ARC read. This is my first ARC read for Sophia. I absolutely love Sophia Belle. The way she writes characters makes you feel as if you are there with them. You become captivated in their story. Their emotions become your emotions. Ryder and Eve’s story is no different. You instantly fall in love with Ryder’s broody personality while also feeling his pain of the love of his life disappearing on him without a word. You are instantly pulled in to Eve’s reasoning for taking off without a word. And her pain of having to leave the person to ever make her feel loved. It is a roller coaster of emotions as they navigate through their relationship, and come to terms with their anger and grief. Absolutely loved this book from start to finish.

Sophia Belle strikes again with amazing second chance romance!
First of all, I would like to thank the wonderful Sophia Belle and Bookfunnel for allowing me the opportunity to ARC this for her! It was such an honor, and experiencing this story before official publication was incredibly special to me. I know stories like this aren’t going to be for everyone and that’s okay, but for anyone reading this review just know that I LOVED AND ATE UP every single second of this book and I will definitely recommend it. I will defend Sophia Belle as one of my favorite indie authors until the end.
Unbreak Me follows Ryder Montgomery and Eve Donovan who fell in love at first sight when they were just teenagers. They knew they were it for each other. Unfortunately, Eve comes from a VERY NASTY AND TOXIC family, where she’s the only child and is considered a “mistake”. She doesn’t know what real love is until she met Ryder. Her toxic parents forced her to leave Ryder behind without a single word and the separation breaks the both of them. Three years later, Eve finally escapes her parents and returns to Ryder—with their two year old daughter, Ryland in her arms. The rest of the story follows both of them as they overcome three years of pent up emotional trauma while also coming to terms with the inevitable—they are still so deeply in love with each other and always will be. And nothing bridges the gap between them better than the love from Ryland and Ryder’s brothers—Jake, Miles and Travis.
First of all, naming their little girl Ryland Savannah? Call me crazy, but that hit me straight in the feels! And the nickname “Rybug” being the same nickname that Ryder’s birth mother called him as a baby?!!! Call me crazy but I was both crying and kicking my feet like a giddy child for that one! It broke my heart and healed me at the same time.
Trevor and Meaghan are THE parents of the year. Just saying.
The wedding scene was like my dream wedding. And not just the delicious lovin either 🤣 it was just meant to be. HOWEVER! Because the wedding happened so early in the book I JUST KNEW THERE WAS A PLOT TWIST COMING!
And What do you know, psycho mom strikes. I can’t believe she actually STALKED Eve and Ryder and broke into their house to KIDNAP Rybug just because she wanted to try and persuade Eve to go away with her again to run her shady business empire. I wanted to whack some sense into that senile witch and I was briefly upset that they didn’t end up pressing charges for kidnapping. I know she’s a fictional character but I would’ve LOVED to see the look on the wench’s face when she was arrested. AGGGHSHDNANDHEHX I mean she does get her just dues, so I eventually got over it and was satisfied. Not sure how I feel about the hinted, extremely brief, potential redemption arc for Richard. He’s still a wench in my eyes too.
Anyways!
The story went so fast but I personally didn’t feel rushed. I mean when you know you know, right? And Ryder and Eve just KNEW that they were made for each other. To me..it sort of felt deeper than the soul connection between Emma and Noah from Connected by Souls. Maybe that’s just Sophia’s writing becoming more flowy and developed? Each of her books just keeps getting better and better. I thought Travis and Sophia’s story (Connected by Love) was my fav? Well, Unbreak Me is about to snatch that number one spot real quick!

Unbreak Me is a spicy small town, second chance romance set in Florida featuring the love story of Ryder and Eve. He's over 6ft, tatted and has a few similarly hot brothers. She had some 'splaining to do but ultimately I forgave her.
I loved the characters in this story, especially the entire Montgomery family. I loved the setting. Loved the foreshadowing. And the spice was spicing! 👀🥵
I needed more depth from mommy dearest. And some of the "my wife/my husband" was a bit too much for me personally.
Based on these two things, which pulled me out of the story, I rated it 4⭐. Happy to recommend and read more by this author though!! I like how some of her characters from her connected series played a role in this one.
* I received an arc in exchange for an honest review *

I’d rate this mid range, maybe 3 stars (spoilers ahead)
Personally, I had no issue with H not being totally celibate during H and h’s 3 year separation. He loved h, and she just ghosted him. He was celibate for 2 1/2 years. He had ONLY just started to move on. He technically was just doing some finger action while OW gave him BJs. There were 6 women during a 6 month period (no “smex”). A week before h shows back up, he did meet another OW in the grocery store and asked her on a date. He thought she could be somebody he could move on with. 🤷♀️
What was terrible was the detailed 1st chapter where H is with OW. Eek. We could have done without that.
So basically H and h were in love. h was 16, H was 17. It was insta. Her parents were strict. Mostly they snuck around. When she turned 18, she moved in with him. Her dad threatened H by saying if she didn’t leave him, he would ruin H’s whole family. She left…and she was pregnant. She didn’t tell anybody, she just ghosted him.
3 years later, h has a daughter. She turned her dad into the FBI and she escaped to go back to H. H was shocked and very angry especially when he realized he had a daughter. She explained what happened and everybody seemed like they understood but H was still so angry with her. 🙃 He’s so hot and cold.
It takes until 50% before he gets over his anger. Then within 1 month of them reuniting, they get married. h is also pregnant again.
Things are going great, but h’s crazy mom kidnaps the little 2 years old. Nothing happens, not even mom being arrested. 🤪🤪 It made no sense That was confusing. That kind of ruined it for me and accounts for my lower rank.
Also, this book has A LOT of smex. I’m all for spice, but this was extreme. They never had their kid because they were always shagging. They couldn’t even go out to eat without stopping once or twice to shag.
Unbreak Me has things I like and things I don't like as much about it. 3 1/2 ⭐ 3 🌶️ This book is a small town romance with intense emotions and spice right out of the gate. Ryder and Eve are high school sweet hearts madly in love who were pulled away from each other for several years. Both battling heartbreak in their own way, the end up reunited. When they are originally reunited, Ryder has a pretty toxic outlook on Eve and his feelings. He does try to keep them rained in, which shows he knows they're toxic. A part I don't like is that Eve agrees with this toxic outlook and wants him to release his anger however he needs to do they can move on. Thankfully this toxic stage doesn't last, and they move into a deep love and commitment. I enjoyed that a lot more. Honestly, for me, there were too many spicy scenes. I'd have personally enjoyed a handful of REALLY spicy scenes instead of 1-2 quick scenes per chapter. It was difficult for me to relate to how fast they could get off together and were ready for another round. It felt so fast. I did like some of the various spots they chose for spicy scenes, like the outdoor shower. Closer to the end there was a situation they were left in a panic that was very emotional. I wanted that to be longer and more intense. Overall, Unbreak Me was cute with some funny stuff and tons of spicy scenes, lots of heightened emotions, friendship and family, and tons of growth. I wish there had been more to the actual story and character building and less of the sex, but I think a lot of people will still enjoy that aspect.
Oh my word! I honestly didn’t think Sophia Belle could top Connected by Love, but HERE WE ARE! 👏🏼
Unbreak Me was a masterpiece! It had every single element that made me want to swoon over these characters and this story! We are talking:
- second chance romance - small town in FL - high school sweethearts - he tattoos her over his heart - possessive MMC - confident FMC - surprise child - no third act break up - dual POV - he’s her first and only - forced proximity - spice - and ALL the feels!
Ryder is the business owner of Ryder’s Restores where he restores and rebuilds old cars. He had this dream to own a business with the love of his life, Eve, since he was in high school. After she abruptly left leaving no trace of herself, he followed through with that dream, but without her. Heartbroken and trying to heal, he decided it was time to try dating again. He set up a date with a woman he met at the store, and then the ghost of his past knocked on his door, with their daughter that he never knew existed. Will he move on or will he be drawn back into his ex who left him 3 years ago without a word?
Eve is a proud mother of a beautiful 2 year old daughter. She was pregnant and gave birth to her daughter alone and raised her alone while living with her parents who could care less about her happiness. When issues arise in her house and her parents force her to do something she doesn’t want to do, she finally decides it’s time to take her life back for good. So she packs her daughter up and they move across the country, back to where she’s wanted to be more than anything, home.
Will Ryder and Eve be able to move forward after 3 years of being apart, or will they slip further apart due to the missing time?
*As this book is intended to be a stand alone, it is interconnected to Sophia Belle’s The Connected Series where you are first introduced to some of the supporting characters and their lives that you will come across in this book.
She has done it again. Sophia never ceases to amaze me. There are some great authors out there and then there are those authors that were meant to be authors, Sophia is one of those. She has an absolute gift.
This book surrounds Ryder Montgomery and Eve Donovan, high school sweethearts that get separated and reunited. Their journey is bliss. It is emotional. It is funny. The banter. The romance. The emotion. It has it all.
Be prepared to fall in love with Ryder, get protective of Eve, and devour this book. This family is everything you could want and more.
What Eve goes through.. to an extent I felt that. I highlighted a very important line to me in chapter 35 that had me in my feels from personal experience and it was…it was everything.
Sophia.. you have an absolute gift. As one of your readers; you absolutely captivate me in every book you write. It is flawless. I feel everything just as I assume you pictured when writing these. Thank you for doing what you do!🫶🏻🖤
First love. Found family. Golden retriever vibes. Eyes only for her/him. Surprise child. Touch her and 😬.
Spice level🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Romance level 🖤🤍🩶🖤🤍 Rating level ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ X 10!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ ~ This book had my full attention from the first chapter and it never let go, Unbreak Me follows the story of Ryder and Eve and my god this book took me on an emotional rollercoaster! ~ Ryder and Eve’s journey was full tension, angst, happiness, sadness, push/pull, drama, plot twists there is not a single chapter in this book that doesn’t keep you turning the pages. ~ Everything about this book was incredible, the plot, the world building, the scene setting the side characters everything was utter perfection. ~ I felt a connection to both the MC & FMC from the get go and was emotionally invested in their story throughout the entire book, I laughed, I cried, then I laughed and cried some more. ~ I read this book in one sitting and I cannot wait for book 2, I highly recommend this book
The Montgomery brothers have a chokehold on me! Sophia Belle wrote such a beautiful story. The first part of the book I was so heart broken for Ryder and Eve, but by the end my it was all bandaged up. This is my second book from Sophia Belle and I love all the character cameos! You can read this as a standalone, there is enough context to figure out who is who. I’m so excited for this series to continue.
ARC Review: 🌶️🌶️Spicy Small Town Romance!!🌶️🌶️ I absolutely LOVED this book! Sophia, girl, I thought I LOVED Connected by Love, but this one outshined it!! This follows the story of Ryder and Eve, who are high school sweethearts! They have to see each other behind Eve’s parents backs due to her parent’s not liking him. Eve fights against them and moves in with him after high school. Eve’s mom and dad are in some pretty shady business and end up making Eve move with them or else they would ruin Ryder and his family!! Eve left to protect Ryder and his family!!!! Ryder got mad about her leaving! However, Eve finds her way back to him and with their daughter Ryland!!! This book is full of spice!! Will Ryder, Eve and Ryland become a family? Will Ryder forgive Eve? Get a copy and find out for yourself!!!
This story follows the two main characters, Ryder and Eve who fell in love at first sight. Eve left Ryder without a word because of some very unfortunate circumstances. 3 years later, just when Ryder thought he could finally try to move on from Eve. She shows up at his doorstep with a secret. It’s not just the two of them anymore. Even with how hurt they were, they finally able to make up for lost time.
Eve is not only an amazing mother to her daughter Ryland (aka Rybug), but she protects and fights for everyone she loves.
Ryder is a beautiful tattooed man who owns a car restoration business. What’s hotter than a man who knows what to do with his hands? I’ll wait.. He’s also a loving and caring partner. Plus, he’s the best dad. His bond with his daughter is one of the cutest things I’ve ever read. What can I say, Ryland is a daddy’s girl.
I loved all of the character development. Not only did they grow together but also as individuals.
The spice was spicing the whole entire book. 4 shower scenes, on a car and in a car? Yes please.🥵
Also, a man washing his women’s hair just does something to me.
Oh and yes, there’s even a plot twist.
Now can we talk about how these 4 brothers have me in a chokehold? The banter between them is hilarious. One of my favorite moments that had me on the floor.. “Professional Firework Director, If I Run, You Run” “Caution! I might explode in your hand” IYKYK🤣
“God may be in charge of heaven, but it’s me who’s going to bring you there”
“You broke me Eve” “Then let me unbreak you”
“As long as my soul exists, I am yours”
This was my first ever ARC so before I even started this book it was already super special to me. This is also my first book from Sophia and definitely not my last. I’m going back to read her other series now because I need to read Travis’ story 😍
Loooved this book! I fell in love with the Montgomery brothers in Connected by Love. Ryder and Eve’s story had me in all my emotions. If you’re looking for romance, family, healing, and laughs… this book is for you!
First of all, thank you for sending an ARC for this. I am really glad I got the chance to read it.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you Author - Sophia Belle, for writing Unbreak Me. It is such an incredible small town love story, and I’m so glad I had the chance to read it. I was deeply moved by the emotional depth of the characters, especially their journey felt so real, and I could really connect with their struggles and growth. It was such a good romance with a lot of spice😍
The story of healing from heartbreak touched my heart, and I found myself thinking about it long after I finished reading. It really reminded me that it’s okay to heal at your own pace. When Ryder & Eve met again after 3 years, they both were heartbroken, it broke my heart along with them but then you put it back together as they moved forward by forgiving of what they lost.
I am in love with little Ryland, she was such a cutie. Her little gestures and the way she felt connected to her whole family even after meeting them the first time was unbelievable.
Tropes-
*small-town romance😍 *second chance🥺 *high school sweethearts❤️ *surprise child *he falls fast and hard *found family *possessive vibes *forced proximity *full of spice🌶️ *happy ever after *dual POV
I would totally say that anyone who is thinking and is confused to pick this one, don’t even think twice, you will never regret it. Although it is good to read “The Connected Series” first as you will meet Ryder in the last book but it is still a Standalone.
Please keep writing stories like this! Your words make a real difference, and I can’t wait to read more of your upcoming books in this series. Once again, thank you for writing such a beautiful and heartfelt book. It was a truly memorable read, and I’m looking forward to your next story!❤️❤️🫶🏻

I had the wonderful opportunity to receive this ARC from a new author to me and it was absolutely amazing! Ryder & Eve’s story takes you on a journey through their teenage years into adulthood after an unfortunate incident resulting in her leaving. This tears at your heart strings & cannot help but keep rooting for them. This couple absolutely had me in a chokehold and got the happily ever after they deserved!
I read this is less than 24 hours! 🤍 Absolutely ADORE every single character and I really could not put the book down! I felt SO lucky to have been able to read this as an ARC 🥹🤍🤍

I cannot wait for the second book in this series because I NEED to know more about these Brothers ASAP! 🤭
I received an Arc of Unbreak Me; the first book in Sophia’s newest series The Montgomery Brothers. I loved seeing some of the characters we know and love from her other series. There is so much heartbreak in the beginning of this book, but the way it all turns around and the shock twists near the end 😩 Definitely worth reading, especially if you loved the other series 💜
♾️ Well shit…Sophia has a way of making me fall in love ALL OVER AGAIN! I am and will forever be obsessed with the Montgomery Brothers.
If you haven’t read The Connected Series, what are you waiting for?! In this interconnected series you will dive into the world of Blue Haven and forever be changed. Men with dark hair, grey eyes, and tattoos…🫠
Sophia can write! Her books are captivating and thoroughly well written. She has a way of making the story feel so real. The amount of lines I highlight in all of her books is unreal and this one was no different. She has become one of my auto-buy authors and I never regret it.
This story gave me all the feels. It was the perfect amount of everything! From the instalove, to heartbreak, forgiveness, and second chance. She even threw in some suspense, girl! And spice…from the very first chapter?! “Hands on the headboard” Ugh chefs 😘 This was honestly so raw and I loved every second of it.
Ryder and Eve, high school sweethearts who fall for each other fast. He is her first everything and Ryder quickly becomes obsessed. But something tears them apart and Ryder is left with loving her ghost. Three years later he is determined to try to find love again, but all he ever sees is eyes the color of the ocean. She will forever be his always. One night there’s a knock at his door and he’s greeted by the one who got away. Are her secrets too much for him and can he ever get over the anger of heart break? You seriously need to read this to find out.
“I found my soulmate, but the cold, hard truth is I wasn’t hers”
“Every single fucking piece of me is hers to love or destroy.”
“our bodies instantly recognize each other as home.”
“Like a moth to a flame, I would gladly risk it all for one touch.”
“It’s like you were put on this earth to satisfy my every craving.”
“this lifetime will never be enough.”
“God may be in charge of heaven, but it’s me who’s going to bring you there.”
This is the 3rd or 4th book I’ve read by Sophia Belle and the 1st in the Montgomery Brothers series. I absolutely loved this book. It had many elements to this story suspense, romance, reconnecting love, and lots of spice! Ryder & Eve are the two main characters and they were high school sweethearts who moved in together once they turned 18. Her family was wealthy and all they cared about was money, their appearance, and didn’t even know how to show love for their own daughter. Ryder’s family was his adopted family and they knew nothing but love. They lived comfortably but money wasn’t their primary concern. Eve’s parents didn’t really care for Ryder purely based on his tattoos and the fact that that he wasn’t rich, so they felt he wasn’t good enough for her. Shortly after moving in together Eve found out she was pregnant and she couldn’t wait to tell Ryder she had just ordered dinner & he was on his way home so when there was a knock at the door she didn’t second guess it. It was her parents and they told her she had to come with them to Seattle because they could give her the best life they see the pregnancy test in her hand and they are disappointed but offer to care for her and her baby. When Eve says no her Dad threatens to tear Ryders family and their businesses to the ground if she doesn’t go with them. She knows Ryder just applied for a loan to purchase a mechanic shop and that her father knew people that could make all of that not work out for him. Eve decides to go with them because she’s loves Ryder & his family and she couldn’t stand to see his family hurt because of her family. So she packs a suitcase and heads out of their apartment in a hurry. Her parents wouldn’t let her leave a note and made her leave her phone behind. Arc Review Rating: 4 stars Spice level: 4 Tropes: Small town romance Second chance Spicy She's only been with him Dual Pov
This small town romance was the sweetest to read, not only did you feel every emotion that the characters were going through, but the deep aspect that this story builds up is incrediable These two characters yerned for each other, needing each other in every way possiable. Yes thats including the spicy moments hehe ;)
Eve is a strong, independent, and hard working woman who wants nothing in the world but to have the man he fell in love with when she was younger. Eve shows so much inspiration to so many readers, like myself, who are able to see her determination and her drive displayed in her personality as she grows throughout the story. She holds so much power and love within her, that everyone can not seem to get pass of knowing or meeting her. When Eve loves, she loves with passion and eagerness.
Ryder, a man who knows what he wants and doesn't let anything change his mind about it, and it's Eve he wants. This man brought the steam and the love in this book, which was written nicely in this reading. Loved seeing him work and progress so much from being young to growing through the story. HE WAS LITERALLY EVERYTHING OMGG! He went from falling in love to falling head over for the girl he met years back, and wouldn't give up the moon for her ( which every girl wants omg!!)
I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Sophia Belle for allowing me to read yet another book from her, it's been such a blessing getting to know her writing style, and how loveable her chaacters can be. This story had me going through a row of emotions. I couldn't get enough of seeing how a second chance can be so beautiful if it's worked out properly and faith is in the process of it. I loved how this story was presented, it had such agnst, passion, and motivational drive in it.
Eve made an extremely difficult decision several years prior and was pulled away from the love of her life by her terrible parents and some threats from them. She spends a few years raising their daughter and trying to survive the situation and to find a way to return home to Ryder.
Ryder is struggling to live his life and move on with Eve disappearing without a trace. He’s running a successful business that he loves and is very close with his brothers and family. He still feels like a piece of his heart is missing. He tries to move on, but nothing feels right without Eve.
Finally Eve shows up on his doorstep with, surprise!, his daughter that he wasn’t aware of. This is a second chance romance, Eve has to grovel for forgiveness for leaving without any note or message and never letting him know he has a child. Eve had a great reason and eventually Ryder sees that. He immediately is in love with his daughter and his brother’s take to being amazing uncles quickly once the shock of the situation wears off.
Ok, this was a hard one for me to read. I hate OW drama in my reads, the book begins with Ryder and another woman. He feels like he’s cheating on a ghost by being with these women. I hated reading about it. Eve spent the time celibate and thinking of only Ryder and how to get back to him. I wish we didn’t have to read about his attempts to move on. I didn’t love how hard Eve had to apologize for leaving. I didn’t love how mad Ryder was. I do get it, she left without leaving any sort of note or apparent reason, she came back unannounced with a baby and he was trying to move along with his life because he had no idea why she left. If the shoe was on the other foot, would I have been happy if she moved on while he was gone? I would have been happy to not read about these other women or men if it had been her moving along. Not in such detail. I didn’t hate him as a main character because of it, it just wasn’t my favourite trope to read and I struggled with it. It took me a long time to warm up to Ryder because of his behaviour and reaction, but I get it. I do. I don’t have to love the FMC remaining celibate and so sad while he sows his oats and tries to get over her, no matter her leaving first. I don’t have to love her reaction and response to the ‘news’ of his intimate relationships while she was gone. It’s a big trigger for me, but that’s a me problem. Some might love the angst.
The writing was good, I was won over in the end and felt their chemistry and love. I enjoyed the second chance they gave each other. I loved Ryder as a dad and his brothers as uncles. I loved the sense of family I could feel just from reading. Once I mentally got over the beginning and the grovel I had a great time with our characters in this book. I’d definitely read other books in this series and other books by this author.
I received an advance copy of this book in return for my honest review.

Tropes: ✨second chance ✨high school sweethearts ✨single mom (technically?) ✨found family ✨he fell fast ✨forced proximity
Years after losing the love of his life and high school sweetheart after she disappeared into the night, Ryder is finally start to put himself out there (for real this time), and try to get over Eve, just for her to bulldoze back into his life with a child in tow. And that little girl? Well, it's his.
There was sooo much to unpack in this book. I am an utter SUCKER for a second chance romance and Ryder and Eve deserved it for everything that they went through and all the forces trying to keep them apart. I binged this book and was hooked from the start. The fact that the two of them were both holding out hope that they were going to finally find each other again just made my heart SING. And I fricking love little Ryland, just being able to be with her family after being apart from them so long. And just seeing everyone from Ryder's family opening up and welcoming them with open arms.
The only thing I didn't love was the fact that the MMC was with someone within the first chapter that wasn't the FMC. But I loved the second chance that Ryder and Eve have for their HEA.
Sophia is another prime example of just writing books with tropes that I was craving. I was literally wanting a book that was second chance, single parent, but it was the parent coming back! So, if you are looking for this microtrope, look no further!! I also loved the little Easter eggs that Sophia had with her previous Connected series. Love it!! Can't wait for the next book
This was my first book by Sophia Belle and it did not disappoint!! I didn't know going into this book that there is a interconnected series (The Connected Series) where you meet some of the characters in this book. After meeting The Montgomery brothers, I will definitely be going back to read them. Loved each on of them!!
Ok, back to Unbreak Me. Ryder and Eve bring all the emotions to the table! They are HS sweethearts who fall fast and hard. Eve's childhood has not been great and Ryder comes along and shows her how to love and what it feels like to be loved. After HS something happens that causes them to be separated for three years. Eve shows back up with the surprise of a lifetime for Ryder! Can he forgive her and move on?
Unbreak Me gave me all the feels. Heartbreak, Second-chance, soulmates and SPICE, lots of spice!!

*Reader Disclaimer/Addressing an issue people are having* I like to be completely honest and transparent. Yes, in the beginning there is a small scene with OW, although I didn't love that myself, it didn't ruin the story for me. I would have preferred the scene to be "mentioned" instead of "acted out" BUT for me that did not take away from their love story. And I know this can deter some readers but please take a chance on Ryder and Eve. I like how the author is realistic to the situation at hand.
"This is the first book in the Montgomery brothers series and my first book by Sophia Belle.
I really enjoyed this story! I am a total sucker for a second chance, ""It's always been you"" romance and Sophia Belle totally delivered on this one!
The story follows Ryder and Eve, who met and fell in love at teenagers. Eve's parents have never approved of the relationship and one day they unexepectedly move away and take Eve with them, who is pregnant and never gets the chance to tell Ryder.
Three years later, Eve shows up at Ryder's front door with their daughter after leaving her toxic family behind. What follows is the two relearning to trust and love each other as they navigate parenthood together.
I really loved the found family aspect of this book, along with how sweet and caring Ryder was. I absolutely flew through the first half of the book, but found myself slowing down a bit starting at about the 50-60% mark. At that point, it started getting a bit more repetative and nothing really pushed the plot forward. I also never thought I would say this, but I think there is too much spice in the book. Towards the end, I found myself skimming a lot of scenes as they started to detract from the plot.
That being said, I will absolutely continue with this series and cannot wait to see what comes next!"
