Bear Hunt
Ride, Die, and Bleed for Speed is the Sons of Khaos club motto and we live by it, every day.
As a family of misfits, we go to bat for each other and aren’t afraid of taking in those who need our protection.
My best friend Psycho even found the love of his life with the enemy’s sister.
Me? I’m pretty sure I found mine on the side of the road with a blown gasket as a bonus.
Everything about her draws me in, and beneath her distrustful surface is a woman eager to love.
My natural instinct is to show her all the ways I want her, but I keep my distance and follow her cues.
She gives off the vibe of someone who’s suffered her entire life. I know, because I was brought up to see the signs and she’s a walking red flag to my bull with tunnel vision.
I vow to protect her, to keep her safe, to give her the normal she’s never known. But when everything blows up in my face, I’m left with a whole lot of anger and too much fear to control.
She chose the bear so now I must slay the man who hurt her, and I’m okay with that.
But first, I have to find her. Hopefully…I’m not too late.

Bear is a Keeper
If you like your MC books dark with a lot of grit this is the book for you. Athena had been through so much in her life and she was just looking for a safe place to settle in. All it took was her car breaking down and the man who could eventually be her future.
Bear was a member of the Sons of Khaos MC and had overcome his own issues and as soon as he seen the beautiful woman on the side of the road, he knew that she would be his.
I always love how strong, alpha bikers have that soft spot for the women they love and Bear had just that for Athena.
If you like your MC books dark with a lot of grit this is the book for you. Athena had been through so much in her life and she was just looking for a safe place to settle in. All it took was her car breaking down and the man who could eventually be her future.

Bear and Athena's story is awesome. He's a big 'ol grizzly bear, although rumor has it that he can be a teddy bear too. She's running from a tragic past. What happens when her past catches up to her? Can Bear save her or will he be too late? This story has plenty of action but there's plenty of love too. Bear and Athena are on fire 🔥🔥🔥! I fell in love with their story.

Athena - Has had a very traumatic life, one which she has planned to escape from. When Athena had finally escaped the hell she was living at, she was very wary of people which showed to every person she has met. Her plan was to find a safe house, one where she thought she would be safe, one where she thought would be a sanctuary for her. The world works in mysterious ways, her car broke down and she was stuck in a place she didn’t know, she wasn’t at her safe haven and wasn’t sure how she would get there.
She met a biker gang, one guy stood out to her, not just for his looks but because of the connection she felt. Can Athena get to her safe haven safely? Will her past come to haunt her?
Bear - Has trauma which he has overcome, he has found his gang, his family. Bear is protective and will do anything to save anyone, to make his mamma proud of him. He hasn’t settled down with anyone unlike most MC’s, Bear is different, he is swoon worthy and very loyal. The world works in mysterious way, it puts a woman in need in front of him, he sees a car broken down and goes to help whoever it was, Bear knew from that moment that this woman would become his.
Can bear get his happy ever after? Can he help this mysterious woman to her safe haven and keep her safe?
This book is beautifully written, it is the first book of N.O. One I have read and I am hoping it isn't the last. It catches you hook line and sinker, I was absolutely hooked as soon as I started reading it. In between work it took a day to read, but I am glad I had the chance to read this book as my last ARC of 2024.
I would highly recommend this novel, you can feel a connection to each character the more you read, I love how both main characters you loved instantly, I just wanted to keep reading! The emotion and love in this story that N.O. One has put in, you can really feel it. I was gutted to have finished this novel! Bear is definitely my new book boyfriend!

Holy guacamole is this story an exciting ride, but then again, after the Psycho trilogy, I almost expected it. Bear’s story is so captivating I found it hard to put it down to ‘adult’ when needed.
Bear’s story is a well-balanced one with a lot of darkness and some light shining in to make it greyer. There are warnings at the beginning so take note of these. One of the stand-out elements about these authors’ writing talents is how they can utilise very dark scenes and smoothly transition the story back to lighter scenes so well. Another terrific element is the interwoven problems that become even more thrilling to read about. Be prepared to read on the edge of your seat a time or two.
Athena is the female lead who you can’t help but admire immediately. She is so strong and determined to succeed in life that it is inspiring. Bear is different from his other brothers in the Sons of Khaos MC. He is almost a gentle giant with impeccable manners. That’s not to say he doesn’t get angry and take retribution against those who have harmed his family—because he does. However, he doesn’t enjoy the torturing of others like some of his brothers, but to each their own… needs.
Together, Bear and Athena make a wonderful couple and although their chemistry is sky-high, the physical intimacy doesn’t overtake the storyline. Again, perfect balance.
Filled with action and suspense, the drama is riveting and the emotions are strong. I totally recommend Bear Hunt to everyone who enjoys their stories with a decent dollop of darkness, some fun humour, and quality writing.

Bear Hunt is a captivating story about trauma, recovery, family and love.
Bear and Athena's story is phenomenal, an honest to goodness love at first sight meeting, you can literally feel it.
The twists and turns, I couldn't see coming, I would've never have guessed. *Chefs Kiss*
One of my favorite things about Bear Hunt is the way Athena's trauma and recovery is written, it's different from others, which reminds everyone, Everyone's recovery is different.
All in all Bear Hunt is an action packed, intense, heartfelt (yeah I said it) journey. I loved every minute of it.

Fast-paced and great characters!!
I really loved Athena she was strong, brave, and beautiful it her own way, and bear was such a great protector his knowledge and strength were something else.
All the characters in this story were written so well. I hope some of the side characters get their own story too. I definitely have me favs!

Out on a fun run, Bear sees someone in need of help with their truck, then he sees the legs accompanied to the truck and it’s like a lightning bolt ⚡️ to his heart 🥰
Athena (Amy) has managed to escape her life, but now the truck has broken down, upon hearing the sound of motorcycles 🏍️ she’s in prepared for how she’ll react when coming face to face to the big guy Bear 😜
This book is gritty, powerful and such a FANTASTIC read!!!!

I need to find me a Bear
As I self proclaimed super fan of N.O. One’s work this book did not disappoint in anyway. I will start by saying this book has a slightly different feel to it than the ladies other books, but that was to be expected as Brock known as Bear for his stature and grizzliness is also at times the voice of reason and a teddy bear, and the ladies definitely did him justice.
His Mama always told him that if it wasn’t perfect for him it wasn’t right, and by fate while on a bike drive the stars aligned and he met his perfect Athena. Athena has escaped a harrowing life as a slave with The Firm she believes her scars make her ugly and unworthy but to Bear she is his perfect warrior. The bond between them is instant and beautiful and where we do hear of her brutal past and for that reason read the trigger warnings and thought it was so well written that you feel her strength seeping from the pages. Escaping The Firm though was never going to be easy and once again The Sons of Khaos are having to fight this unscrupulous organisation for the women they love.
For those who have read Once Upon A Sale you will be please to hear that Ophelia and Jarrett show up within the book just reminding us all of how yummy Jarrett is.
The last chapter of this book though just got me chomping at the bit for what’s to come.
As usual N.O. One has delivered yet another book favourite of mine …. Just amazing ladies

Bear Hunt is book four of the Sons of Khaos Series.
There was a lot of action and suspense throughout this one. It was an edge of your seat ride to the finish line.
Bear has got to be the best teddy bear there is. He really was such a sweetheart when it came to Athena. He had a lot of patience and care when he was interacting with her. He knew she had been through a lot of pain and trauma and took it one day at a time, slowly earning her trust. I really loved how we got to see the full softer side to him and how his protective instincts came out in full force.
Athena has gone through a lot in her life, and seeing her embrace a new life of freedom and discovery was nice to read. She really had a strong resiliency which was only made stronger through her relationship with Bear and the Sons. She was a force to be reckoned with.
This was a great addition to the series. I loved how we still got to interact with a lot of the characters from the previous books. They were just as important to the storyline as the main characters. We even get a little sneak peek into the next book and I cannot wait to read it!

This is my first read in the Sons of Khaos series, and it has not disappointed! So much so I will be reading the first 3.
The beginning of the book had me hooked straight away. From the start, there are 2 strong characters, Bear and Athena, Bear a fierce grizzly protector, and Athena who is navigating herself away from being abused and trauma into a survivor. When their paths meet, Bear is instantly protective, and Athena knows she can trust him!
I was instantly drawn to all the characters in the book and thoroughly enjoyed the side and back stories to help navigate as reading as a standalone.
The book contains heavy triggers of violence and sexual abuse, which are dealt with well. However, this does not take away that this is a love story and gives you a warm, happy feeling when reading.
It also sets up for the next book in the series, which I am now eagerly waiting for.
All I need to know now is how do I go and get a Bear for myself :)

The anticipation I had for this book was off the charts and it did not disappoint at all!!!
Bear and Athena are EVERYTHING!!! Bear is a big, beautiful, powerful Teddy bear of a man unless you threaten, hurt or do anything to someone he cares about. Luckily for Athena he is the perfect man for her!
Athena escapes a human trafficking ring and during her escape, she is fortunate that Bear is the one to stop and help. He instantly knows she needs his help and protection and that she is it for him.
With all the abuse and terror that Athena has experienced, she is always trying to stay positive and optimistic - at least in the outside. She thinks that her being with Bear is putting him and his love ones in danger and still plans on leaving as soon as she can no matter how she feels about Bear.
When she is captured and brought back to her captors, Bear is willing to tear the world apart to find her and Athena never gives up hope of Bear finding her or her being able to escape again - or die trying.
It is a slow burn, which makes complete sense with the trauma Athena has gone through, but it is still intense and intimate with the right amount of steam the build up to the spicy bits. Once they get there - whoa mama!!! Yummy hotness!!!
They do get thier HEA and going back into this world is so amazingly satisfying. I missed those whacked out MC brothers of Bear’s. Plenty of plot twists and surprises throughout as well and I want so much more of all of them!!!

OMG, I feel like I've been waiting for Bear forever! In reality I haven't of course but everyday it feels like a week waiting for this duos next book to come out!
Just when you think you've got a full encyclopedia of book boyfriends, where the top 5 constantly changes, along comes Bear. Bear, huge, cuddly but brutal Bear. Its all instalove when he meets Athena, whose running away from an horrific existence. The connection between them is wow! Just when you think you've got a full encyclopedia of book boyfriends, where the top 5 constantly changes, along comes Bear. Bear, huge, cuddly but brutal Bear. Its all instalove when he meets Athena, whose running away from an horrific existence. The connection between them is wow! And of course true happiness dont come easy but it's a hell of a ride getting there. I cannot recommend any of these ladies books enough! X

Oh Lord everyone needs a Bear in their lives.
We are back in the Sons of Khaos world, with the characters we know and some newbies thrown in. This is Bear’s story and it may be in the same world, but it is a totally different sort of story. Bear is relentless in everything he does, whether he’s protecting the innocent or defending his family, his loyalty cannot be matched. So when he meets Athena he knows what he needs to do. Now the question is, will Athena let him do it?
As with all of N.O. One’s stories this one is filled with action, suspense, emotion and steam. There are things that could be triggering for some, but it is not written with malice instead it’s written with grace and honesty.
I love these ladies and how they tell a story, don’t miss out.

I only binge read the Psycho trilogy a couple of months back and could not wait for this book.
I knew I wouldn’t be able to put it down once I started it so kept it to read until after Christmas and it’s a good job I did otherwise nothing would have been done on time!
You cannot help but live Bear and how he is with Athena. I always live books where they are escaping a past and this one is high up in my favourites. It is not all smooth sailing but Bear was never going to give up.
You’ve also got to love a book that doesn’t have a third act break up as well!

Wow, just wow. This was so good and heartbreaking. Poor Athena what she goes through and survives. The strength she has is amazing. Then there's Bear. Be still my heart. The care he shows Athena is beyond everything. I love how Bear treasures her and lets Athena set the pace. That's true love right there. When you feel it, you know it. I'm so glad there's going to be more books in the SOK. I have so many questions that I hope get answered.

Love Athena!
I love Athena and seeing some of the damage she went through only to persevere and thrive really brought this story home for me. We get lots of action and the steam is hot, but also completely different from other steam scenes. I definitely want to know more about Athena’s background and hope to get more in future books. One thing that I love about this author is their ability to throw curve balls you never saw coming - and this story was no different. Even the HEA isn’t exactly what you might expect and I feel like that fits these characters so much more

I absolutely love everything these two beauties write!!! And we asked for Bear and his story and by golly we got it!!!
I loved the Sons of Khaos series which we saw started off with Psycho and Mac's story and now we have the standalone in the same series but this time we get 🐻 Bear!! My oh my this guy!!! Even though this is a slow burn the story never gets boring so much happens that keeps you going till the very end. Bear finally finds his woman 😍 Athena and wow is she super strong even after all the trauma she's been through. She knows nothing of the outside world as she was held captive by the Firm which we read about in the psycho trilogy. When she finally escapes she meets Bear on the side of the road when her truck breaks down.....he knows right away he's fallen hard!!!
When her past catches up with her and she's taken again Bear and the gang go to war to get her back. This book deals with Dark themes and will have triggers so please go in knowing them and look after your mental health first and foremost. Honestly please check out these two beautiful ladies and their stories you WON'T be disappointed at all. I'm hoping we get more from this MC gang and it looks like it if the Epilogue is anything to go on 😍

This was a great introduction to the Sons of Khaos MC. Bear is a member of the MC who helps Athena when she is stranded on the side of the road after her car breaks down but what Bear doesn’t realise is that he is helping Athena in more ways than one and he is actually helping her escape a very traumatic past which brings danger to the doorstep of the MC. What a ride this book was with lots of twists and turns and one very interesting development within the MC. If you are into gritty books with lots of action then this is the book for you.

In Psycho’s story we get to know the club and all the drama, some of the many questions will be getting answered in this book, I loved every bit of it.
I cried, I screamed, I laughed, but most of all enjoyed the connection between the main characters and that she find so much more than just love 💕

Heat level: 3/5. He's definitely a bear we would choose! So far, he's the most level headed MMC this duo has written. Athena has suffered her whole life and Bear was perfect for her. His patience, emotional intelligence, and careful consideration of her needs is beautiful. He falls first and HARD. The fact that he loves her scars wad a powerful scene. I can't wait for the next book.

This incredible duo has done it again! Bear’s book is amazing, I couldn’t put it down!
I absolutely love Bear. He’s hardcore, yet soft when he needs to be. He really is a grizzly/teddy bear and I couldn’t have been more obsessed. Athena is wonderful, her life hasn’t been easy, but she makes the best with what she can. Their story is intense and riveting and had me feeling all the feels.

Wow what a read
Full of emotion dark and gritty and Bear stayed true to character which I loved (his mama would be so proud ) love Paxton his protectiveness of his mum and then Athena was so endearing I’m glad he gets his happy ending

Loved Bear! Especially how he takes to Athena. She’s not had an easy life but when her car breaks down and Bear stops to help her, her life seems to be turning around. There is plenty of action within this book to keep you turning the pages.

This one is Bear's story and what a story. He meets the girl he will fall for. She has a lot of issues but that is the beauty of it. Bear is a teddy bear with her. That is what mama wanted. Must read

The anticipation I had for this book was off the chart because Bear was my perfect man in the earlier books where he was just a side character. I was not disappointed at all! Bear couldn’t be more of a perfect man - raised right to be protective, loving, respectful, and loyal. The fact that he is a huge burly dark delicious man was an added bonus. With that being said, Bear was always going to fall hard for the right woman and Athena was that from the minute he met her. Athena’s story was as sad as a story could be but it was also different because she didn’t handle it in a way that most would expect. As much as she endured, she was still open and optimistic about being able to have a life of her own and wasn’t going to let anything stop that from happening,
Loved so much of this book - the characters for sure, the story line and the different take on it - the cameos and Easter eggs - the questions that I have and the ending (which means more books yay!) loved it all. Bravo ladies!

Another hit from N.o. One, I loved Bear from the Pyscho trilogy and was excited for his story. He's the perfect balance of grizzly and Teddy. Athena is a bad*ss who survives hell and deserves her HEA. Please check triggers this book covers dark subjects
