I borrowed the Ultimate SEAL Collection, Volume 1: SEAL Brotherhood (SEAL Brotherhood Boxed Set, Book 3), by Sharon Hamilton, author from the Kindle Unlimited Program.
Ultimate SEAL Collection, Volume 1: SEAL Brotherhood (SEAL Brotherhood Boxed Set, Book 3) contains books 0.5 to book 4 of the series. After reading all of them and loving SEAL stories, I am very pleased with the series and would recommend it to all readings liking hot SEAL stories.
a great series, although all the men are part of a seal team theres no actual military action in these stories. mainly based around their home areas or families, there is the odd fight, kidnapping, drugs lords and underhand scheming as background. each story is great in its own right but best read as a series as each team member is the main focus of their own story as they embark on a romance
The Ultimate Seal Collection was bloody brilliant EACH individual book was as great add the other not JUST HOT & SEXY, but it's all that heated tension that each of the individual Seal have to go through, save & protect the women that come into their lives & who becomes their Soulmates.
awesome series. I love the seal books. all those hunky heroes, the adventures and the women who love, and heal them. the protective ways of these men are above believable. buy the series and read it and fall in love with your favorite seal.
This is a collection of stories, two very short blurbs and four novels.
SEAL Encounter Three chapters comprise this piece of writing: I cannot call it a short story and it certainly is not a novel. These seem to be the first three chapters of the first novel in this series, Accidental SEAL. Perhaps the book was deemed too long, and the first three chapters were chopped? At any rate, we meet whom we can guess will become major players in the upcoming novel: Special Operator Chief Kyle Lansdowne, most likely the main male protagonist; Team 3 medic, Calvin “Coop” Cooper; Christy Nelson, the likely female protagonist; Alphonso Manuel “Fredo” Esquidido Chavez, shortest SEAL on Kyle’s team; Special Operator Armando “Armani” Guzman, Lyle’s bestie. This initial entry in the SEAL Brotherhood series is a little confusing since it does not seem to serve any purpose; we are reintroduced to the players in the next book.
Accidental SEAL This is where I threw my hands up and stopped. The Lyle-Christy meet-cute just might be the worst ever written. It’s an almost-rape scene and is handled poorly and is absolutely unnecessary for the plot. Lyle is in the bedroom, nude, meditating, when Christy (our intrepid real estate agent) comes tripping in to prepare for an open house. The house is a filthy mess, including days-old dishes in the sink, and Christy is thinking she’ll have to get it cleaned up fast. She tries to leave after catching a glimpse of naked Lyle, but he catches her at the door and attacks her. He thinks she’s an enemy agent (uh-huh) and she thinks he’s going to rape her. By her own accounting, she is scared out of her mind. HOWEVER, in the middle of his assault, here’s what the writer tells us: “She [Christy] shifted slightly, noticing the still rather large package between her legs that might have been welcome in another time and place.” No. Just no. In the middle of a rape, no woman is going to be thinking about welcoming an attacker’s penis. What is this writer thinking?
Eventually, after smelling her tube of lipstick, Lyle realizes Christy’s an innocent and lets her go. She runs out of the house, scared and shaking. She takes a circuitous route home, based on what she’d gleaned from reading suspense novels, and believes she isn’t being followed. She goes to an exercise class where the instructor abandons the class in order to talk with her because Christy looks pale and unfortunate. The instructor tells her she must call the police. And wouldn’t that be the first thing a woman would do after experiencing something so harrowing? Drive to a police station and report it. She wasn’t raped, but she was assaulted. She never does contact the police. Know why???? She thinks he’s a cutie. OMG. And they proceed to dating.
There needs to be a warning placed on the advertising blurb for this book, alerting readers to the rape scene. The heroine wasn’t raped by the hero, but she still experienced intense fear and believed she was going to be raped by him. I have no idea why the writer chose such a terrible meet-cute (not) rather than simply having the hero meditating in workout clothes and meeting her with his clothes on. The violence was prurient and unnecessary.
I DNF’d this book on page 77 and could not convince myself to read on. I rated it 1 star because I feel cheated as a reader. There’s no meet-cute, no love in a rape scene. The writer has attempted to romanticize rape and there’s no excuse for this. I do not trust this writer to tell a story without rape violence and I’m not interested in reading anything more. If rape scenes are triggering, stay away from this book.
OUT of all these books I think I enjoyed 3 of them the most and the first one was with Kyle and Christy... "Seal Encounter" -Is the story of Kyle and Christy and how they meet and how weird yet .... looks like love at first sight. Christy Nelson starts her new career in Real Estate by holding her first open house. Only she finds a nude sleeping body in the bedroom. He happens to be Navy Seal Kyle Lansdowne and he is sleeping in his teammates Armando aka Armani .... house when Christy happens upon him. He thinks she could be part of the people that took his teammate and he tackles her.As time passes they begin to feel a connection and she tries to help him but the bad guys kidnap her and Kyle has to save her and his teammate. Even tho Kyle tried not to fall in love with her ... needless to say He did...
Seal Endeavors- This story had me crying ... but love the comedy between Coop and Fredo ... U. S. Navy seal Calvin Cooper and his best friend Fredo go to pick up a new drone prototype. Coop is a tech whiz... on their journey back to San Diego...They stop in at Monterey Bay Aquarium, where he sees a stunning brunette... who he eventually comes to know is Libby Brownlee and he can't get her out of his mind. He spots her several times as the guys are traveling . "Coop" finds out he lost his entire family in Nebraska due to a tornado. While there he ends up finding his dog on the day he was leaving and takes it back with him. He is ordered to seek the family of the fallen soldier whose name on his (Ka-Bar)knife. He meets Libby and her family and the father is still mourning his twin brother after 25 yrs. Coming to find Libby's family is in danger and she is the center of it all and Coop with his team does find her and saves her.
Seal Under covers... Seal Armando "Armani"Guzman has returned from a bad tour in Afghanistan to find his sister still making very bad choices that puts her with a drug gang. He is determined to save her and her son. She has a friend name Gina, but she is really undercover to get the drug gang by using the sister. Sparks is fly between them and she want tell him her secrets. Gina is trying to prove she is just as good as the men at doing her job. She had a relationship with another officer but found out he was married. She tries to stay away from him but the officer doesn't want to stay away... he had decided Gina was the woman for him so he connives and deceives kidnaping Gina ..Armando with his team are off to rescue her.....
Nick Dunngot (I think was the last name ) AGAIN this story will truly have you In tears ....the call he was dreading since before is last deployment. His sister is in her final stages of cancer. He and his teammate Marc drive to Sonoma County together to help shut down her failing nursery business and tie up her final affairs. He remembers is sister best friend Devon Brandenburg. His sister share certain conditions for both her best friend and her brother. She wants them to go on dates to get to know each other. Sparks do fly between them but Devon wants nothing to do with him. Her neighbor was trying to buy property but she refused because she didn't trust him. His friend Marc has fell in love with the Sophie. but after her passing Devon finds out the sister has been poisoned and went in search of info to prove so she runs into Nick trying to kill the man ... eventually they realize they do love one another......
"Fredo" Manuel Exquidido Chavez learns something he doesn't want to tell his wife, the beautiful Mia Guzman, Armando's sister. WHO has fought Fredo every step of the way ... and is now married to him....He worries she will leave him for someone else who can give her more kids. He gets shot and a struggling youth saves him and calls 911 to save him. The team works the neighborhood to fix it up and hopefully make it a safe place the kids can go to and be safe... the boy and girl ..Fredo try's to help end up with the team capturing the bad guys... and of course with all things in fiction everyone lives HEA
I love books about SEALs so this set was right up my alley. These books have SEALs in some unlikely situations but always doing what SEALs do best. Helping someone. The writing was detailed making it easy to get caught up in the stories. However, when it came to the sex scenes, I would have been happy with less detail. But that’s me. If you like stories about SEALs with really hot sex scenes, you'll like these books, especially Accidental SEAL. That story was more about the couple having sex than anything else.
SEAL Under Covers was a great suspense story with undercover police, SEALS and drug gangs. It clearly showed that Hamilton had done a lot of research on SEAL training and procedures.
In general, I would have liked more about what the SEALs did (how they saved the day) and less sex so I rated this collection 3.5 stars.
I laughed, cheered, felt burning anger, and mourned.
This was by far a the most stimulating set of stories! Kyle is all alpha, yet humble and shy. Christy was his match. The glitter to make him shine. Cooper stands out in a crowd. But lives in the shadows until Libby shows him how to live! Armani looks the part, plays the ladies, yet is always saving those he loves. Until someone comes along who saves him from a life of loneliness. Nick loses his stability, his guiding force. Hes lost until Devon shores him up and guides him home. Fredo has loved from afar for years. Mia is his teammates wild sister. She cant see past her issues at what stands before her until its almost too late. First time reading this author... but not the last!
SEAL Team 3 seems to be made up of men who think only of sex and their jobs. This isn't bad, but it gets a bit repetitive. Each man only gets better when he finds his true love. Each story is different in the telling, but lots of gratuitous sex highlights each and very sudden turnarounds by the women accepting the men, despite their shortcomings. And these are some of the luckiest men around, managing to involve themselves in civilian problems, but avoiding what should be the consequences. Then again I read all the books in this collection and only skipped a few sections. So decent read overall. Learned to like these characters, especially Fredo and Cooper.
For the life of me, I can't imagine how this soft porn book ended up in my library, but it is sooo awful that I can't recommend it even as a porno, let alone a SEAL adventure collection! I drive a truck and they say they are not eavesdropping on me, there's apparently no technology for anyone to be doing that without my permission, but DAMN... I'd be so embarrassed to have anybody know that I made it through 30min of this turd and twaddle, before changing books. Thankfully, Audible (love, love, love Audible!!!) bought it back AND gave me a credit, plus 1 credit for the absolute crappiness of this book. So there!
A collection of intense and suspenseful adventures when Seals meet their match. For my personal reading taste, these stories are too detailed with background information and not enough action to make them captive reading material.
Read this in a series of three books. All were riveting and exciting. A great band of brothers that would do anything for each other. Each story was great and as a series was awesome. Narration was awesome too.
This was a fun and energetic collection of stories about the SEAL team and their band of Brotherhood along with the strong women that match them and fill their empty spots
They're awesome, quite a bit steamy - each guy has "THE girl" fall into/fall back into/or suddenly realize that THIS is their guy. Great collection, Sharon Hamilton. Thank you for your time, talent AND THE STORIES!
Follow as SEAL Team three finds love and adventure. The series begins with LPO Kyle Lansdowne as he and Christie meet and fall in love. These books are entertaining, full of love and adventure.
All of these books contained members of the same team. Each with a tale of looking for fun and adventure. Definite action, hot scenes of sex, and trouble of the worse kind.
Review for SEAL Encounter: Christy and Kyle are both at the San Francisco airport on their way to San Diego. Christy to sell her mothers house and Kyle to go back home after being on deployment. Kyle sees Christy and wants to meet her and Christy keeps feeling like she's being followed. Great short piece, anxious to see what happens next.
Review for Accidental SEAL: Christy is excited about her first open house and ends up at the wrong house and gets attacked by a very naked man. Kyle is at his missing buddy Armando's house where he meets Christy not realizing she was an innocent at first. After their chance meeting, their one night stand becomes a two night stand and little do they both realize is Christy is now involved with the search for Kyle's SEAL brother. Can Kyle and his team buddies find Armando before more dead bodies surface and the woman he doesn't want to love get taken? Loved this story, I really like Christy, I've read some other SEAL stories with Kyle and Christy and it was neat getting their beginning story!
Review for SEAL Endeavor: While Coop and Fredo are looking for a drone for Coop, he see's a woman that catches his eye. Libby happens to see Coop as well while she's out with her advisor and her friend another time. With their chance glances will they ever get the chance to chat with one another?
Review for Fallen SEAL Legacy: With Coop just losing his entire family, he's tasked with connecting with the SEALs family that is on his trident. What he doesn't expect is to fall for the daughter of the fallen SEALs brother. Libby's father doesn't like Coop one bit and doesn't get why the military wants to bring up old wounds. And now with a threat to his family and Coop as a possible suspect, will Coop ever be able to convince he's a decent man, especially when the one he's falling for is kidnapped by whoever is tormenting Libby's father?
Review for SEAL Under Covers: Gina is undercover getting close to Navy SEAL Armando's sister Mia. But while she's trying to get close to Mia to bring down the Scorpions, Gina's ex Sam, another cop tries to interfere with the investigation. Then when Gina starts to develop feeling for Mia's brother Armando, Sam becomes obsessive and almost risks the entire operation. But when Armando and his buddies interfere with the investigation unknowingly to make sure his sister is ok, will Gina's life be at risk and not because she's been hanging around the gang? Another great story in this series!
Review for SEAL the Deal: Nick sister and Devon's best friend Sophie is dying from cancer. While on her death bed, she wants her best friend and brother to go on 5 dates. It's her dying wish after all. With the two budding heads when they meet again, will they be able to keep their promise to Sophie's wish. But with Sophie's final breath approaching, Devon and Nick develop feelings for one another. Devon is trying to sell Sophie's nursery and Sophie doesn't want her neighbor who has been harassing her to have her property. But when Sophie's life is at more risk than ever, can Nick and Devon make it out unscathed as well?
This is re-read of books I have already read and enjoyed.
Accidental SEAL - What a unique way to mean the "eventual" love of your life! I laughed at so many parts, tears ran down my legs. Cristy and Kyle are something to behold and I loved that their unexpected meeting led to her kidnapping and eventually her rescue by her SEAL. Of course, if the kidnapping had turned out differently then I would be giving an entirely different review.
Fallen SEAL Legacy - Calvin "Coop" Cooper has an "aw shucks" attitude that seems to draw in the ladies like a magnet but when he meets Libby, that attraction comes with some unusual consequences. After his family was killed in tornado, as part of his healing he is instructed to reach out to another family that is dealing with another loss. The problem is that Coop represents all that her family has come to hate as he brings up sad and tragic memories of the death of another sailor who is Libby's Uncle and twin brother of her father. Despite the instant dislike that her father has for Coop and his reluctance to have him get involved with his daughter, when she and the rest of her family are threatened, Coop cannot stay away and wanted or not, he steps in to help. The book is a consistent roller coaster of danger, surprises and in the end a lasting romance.
SEAL the Deal - How can someone not follow through on the request made by someone who is dying? When Nick Dunn's sister Sophie asks him to help her best friend, Devon find a buyer for her Nursery, oh and the two must go on at least 5 dates before she dies. Sparks fly between the two but Devon has concentrated on building her business so there wasn't time for romance and when Nick bursts into her life, all she can do is hold on for the ride. When Nick finds out there is something funny going on, he calls in his SEAL buddy, Mark who develops feelings for the dying Sophie. Definitely keep the tissues handy for this one but it is definitely worth reading.
SEAL Under Covers - Great characters in Armando and Gina and they definitely have a chemistry that is off the wall! Gina is an undercover cop who has taken on the task of trying to take down a group of Mexican Warlords. What he doesn't realize is the latest trouble his sister Mia is involved with is connected to Gina's undercover mission. There are so many interlocking story lines within this book and various danger around every turn and of course Gina and Armando team up which is interesting due to their attraction.
SEAL Encounter - A great teaser to introduce Kyle and Christy who we learn much more about their story in Accidental SEAL. This teaser was enough for me to immediately get the next full length book to really see how their story progresses.
SEAL Endeavor - A short introduction to the couple Libby Brownlee and Calvin Cooper who "meet" accidentally on a trip well Libby sees a tall muscular man in multiple places but doesn't get to actually meet until Fallen SEAL Legacy where there are obstacles in their way to an HEA.
This is an absolute bargain 4 full length novels plus 2 short prequels. 4 gorgeous SEALs from team SEAL 3 and their feisty heroines. I absolutely enjoyed every story they were unique, action packed adventures with instant attractions and very sensual love scenes. The interaction between the SEALs is a pure joy to read. So if you like your heroes to be military, gorgeous, courageous and have a great capacity to love with worthy heriones, and hot sensual romance this is a must.
I love a strong man with a sense of honor and with the objective to protect the lives and innocence of Americans. Every seal in Seal Team 3 is a dream come true. Loyal brothers and a bit of womanizers, that is until they meet their One. But these stories are much more than just a romance, as the Seals battle arms dealers and murderers on American soil, and outside their military jurisdiction, in order to protect the ones they love. Great books.
Mostly I enjoyed these stories. My objections are the speed with which these young women jumped into bed with their men and how quickly, and unrealistically, they forgave. The final story, Nick and Devon was enjoyable right up to the climax. Suddenly the story ended with a crazy scene which supposedly brought the two back together. No apologies, no questions. Just the two back together. Seemed as if the author just wanted to finish.
