I really enjoyed this book. The narrative was well written and flowed well. The characters all seemed to interact well with one another.
The are several organisations that are all searching for the Staff of God that the Patriarch Moses used when in the desert with the former slaves. Only a select few know where the Staff is hidden, and they are sworn to help only those who have the blood of Christ in their veins, and who are, as a consequence, immortal. Sometimes, a few members of different groups join forces, under the 'enemy of my enemy is my friend' banner. Eventually, the Staff is located and retrieved. As is normal, the prize gets diverted into the wrong hands, but not for too long.
I'm sorry I finished the book. It really held my interest from start to finish.
