**this is book one of a three book series. It ends in a cliff hanger and gradually gets dark.
Kane is all the green flags. We love a man who falls first and Kane is it. This book was such a delight to read, not just for the romance, but for the interesting subplots, too. The characters, the spice, the banter—love it all! Can’t wait to read book 2!
I had the privilege of reading this book at several different stages and 😍
I’m normally a fantasy girl, but I will read anything this author writes because she is such an incredible storyteller.
But back to the book! I am extremely character driven as a reader, and I’m obsessed with Kane, Ebony, and crew. The relationships in this book are complex and riveting. This was me most of the book: 😱
If you’re in the mood for a spicy (like 🥵), campus romance that has a plot that will keep you on your toes and a villain that makes you hope for bloodshed, this is the book for you.
Pretty good by Aneka Bailey is an amazing read with so many elements that have an amazing power to help heal a tortured soul. This entire book screams messages out to the world of the various things that need to be changed and talked about. The facade people can put on to make you believe they’re something they aren’t and the fact that abuse still happens even once you’re out of the relationships. Join Ebony on her journey of healing, and intertwine yourself in the never ending pull of this story. Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this book, I am forever grateful that these messages are put out into the world and openly discussed even if it’s only in small groups.
Incredibly entertaining and spicy! The story was unique. Ebony was easy to love, incredibly complex too. I was kicking my feet squealing through multiple scenes, which is what made this such an easy read.
Kane is just 😛😛😛 (if I say more, spoilers will slip!)
The twist at the end had me jumping out of my seat!
