What I liked- this was a little different than the previous books in the series, zexytime wise. And the calendar poses and outfits were straight-up Fanservice.
What I didn’t like- Since when does the student council control the athletics budget? Do they seriously expect to sell that many calendars in March for the same year? What sports playoffs run concurrently with hockey playoffs so they don’t know there’s not enough money earlier? Did they just think that the hockey team wasn’t good enough to make the playoffs?.

Fundraising Time
rift between Evan and Yasmin has complicated matters with the hockey team and fundraising opportunities. Working together is the only way to get it down, but can they put aside their animosity and other feelings? This was an emotionally charged story as they explored a connection that was unlike anything they expected, which was a nice addition. I really like how these two not only worked out what was going on between them but that the team was able to work with them on what mattered.

Evan and Yasmin used to be friends until they both ran for Student Council President. Yasmin won and Evan wasn't totally mad but when she didn't stick up for him he became bitter.
When Yasmin doesn't uphold the promise she mad as president to fund the sports team events, the hockey team is looking at not being able to go to the semi-finals.
The guys come up with a plan to raise funds, but when Evan has an issue getting ready, can Yasmin save the day?.

Yasmin had a falling out with Evan when she had won the Student President election over him. With that, she had lost all the friends she had with the hockey team since that was his team. But when the student council comes up short with funds for the hockey team, they come up with a hot hockey player calendar for a fundraiser and with Yasmin helping them things heat up between her and Evan.

Evan & Yasmin: Book 16 of Hunks Who Puck: Friends to enemies to lovers/ college hockey romance novella: Standalone in an interconnected standalone. I enjoy reading this series. They are super quick reads, but it’s nice to see previous characters show up throughout the series.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I like how the team pulls together a fund raising event to raise their needed funds when the planned ones fell through. As a bonus Evan and Yasmin's friendship is rekindled and perhaps more on the horizon.

So I’ll be honest… I’ve been reading these stories for two days now and I’m kind of getting bored with them. They are all cute and fast but most of them have typos. I will be finishing out the series since there’s only two more books left.

The premise had everything: history, betrayal, political rivalry. But the execution? Flat. Evan and Yasmin’s chemistry skipped the emotional buildup and sprinted straight to the finish. Instead of layered tension, it felt rushed and oddly shallow. All spark, no substance.
