This is the 1st book I read by Debbi Rawlins. This book's storyline was okay. I liked the hot 🔥 & steamy scenes. Melanie's character was okay. Lucas's character was okay. I liked the ending.

I'm not much of one for cowboys, but this was pretty good. The plot line with PRN and how it meshed with the rescue farm was pretty neat and very believable.

B801 June14 Made in Montana #8 Melanie Knowles, the pastor's daughter, the good girl of Black Falls has never been naughty. Lucas Sloan has come to Black Falls because of the animal shelter, Safe Haven, and the work that is done there with horses. He want Safe Haven to help with the Wild Horse Training Program which works with select convicts to rehabilitate the horses and men. Lucas knows first hand how it works. He was convicted for beating up his neighbor over a water barricade keeping a horse, that died, from the water. Lucas hit him once, but when the man got to hospital someone else had really beat him up, Lucas went to prison for 3 years.
Melanie has to decide her future, basically good girl forever or go after Lucas for a life and love with him.
Good story with attitudes and she is a people pleaser and had to realize she was the only person who could decide what was most important.
