This is the 4th book in Kaylee's Superheroes in Action series. Each book works as a quick standalone set within the same world. And for the life of me, I can't figure out why they aren't getting more love.
In this book, Asher worships Pegasus Phister, a supposed literary villain. Asher works at a coffee shop by day but writes fan fiction around his hero's character at night. Asher's friend submits his work to an online ad for a submissive to cater to a round literary legends' physical and practical assistant needs. Asher gets the job; the writer is a vampire and hilarity ensues.
These are fast kinky reads that involve clueless characters who want to be supervillains, but things don't work out as planned. The writing is good, and the steam is on point. And this isn't my scene, but you can feel the characters authenticity. For short stories, these are worth your time!.

Loved the previous books in this series and though I felt this wasn't as good it was still a thoroughly enjoyable book that had so many twists and turns that start when Asher meets his idol, bestseller fantasy writer and literary villain, Pegasus at his day job and then His friend signs him up for a submission job and he is sold to superhero "the Count". This invokes some archenemy rivalry as Asher is entangled in the webs of the two literary superpowers’ dark pasts!!.
