An absolutely wonderful mafia romance with an intriguing darkish undertone. I found the plot well-written & fascinating to read. The characters (a male assassin, Yuri) & (a female private investigator, Ava) having opposing personalities & at first appearance, do not appear to be compatible with each other but as the story continues they actually complement each other very well.
There is: mafia/bratva, assassins, drama, intrigue, suspense, action, enemies, threats, danger, murder, obsession, domination/submission, some discipline, spankings, abduction, torture, an unexpected rescue, determination, compromises, declarations, steamy scenes, surprises & a well-deserved happy conclusion.

4.5 stars - Another book in this series that I really, really enjoyed! Ava's latest assignment has her crossing paths with her dream Dom. Yuri is dark and dangerous, as is the world they both travel in, but he's also exactly what Ava needs and wants. They find themselves in a perilous situation but through it, they have each other. Their chemistry is palpable and, when they aren't interrupted, it burns beautifully. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I loved Ava and Yuri. This couple has amazing chemistry and their interactions are filled with tension and sizzle. The story grabs and holds your interest with a potent cocktail of drama, emotions, steam, BDSM, intensity and danger. An excellent read in a great series that I can't wait to enjoy more of. This is my forthright, volitional review.

No intention reading about Enzo in the next book
Read through KU and I only finished so I could leave my review. Thank goodness for KU because it was on sale for .99 cents and I did buy another of her books but wouldn’t want this book even for free😖I did not like this book. I did start skipping a little after the middle and I had to force myself to finish. Obviously this is my opinion and a lot of people liked this book. I am not knocking this author, like I said I have bought 2 of her books. There are so many gripes with this one though. The 1st is their first smexy scene, He didn’t ask her her limits and he gave her her safe word. Now this is common for the author’s other books but they met at a sex club in this book and the 2 of them have had other Daddy Dom situations before they got together so they should know better. The scenes were not as steamy as some of her other books, more about giving and receiving pain, just not my cup of tea. I was not impressed with the back door scene, In another book by the author “Bound by the Bratva” that scene was very good and he was not a DD just a Dom. I absolutely hated Enzo and have no interest in reading him. I like Dark Mafia books but I at least like them to have some redeeming qualities. I do not want to read about a guy who can so easily torture a woman who he has known for 3 years so easily.
The editing was not that good either. The author really needs to get another editor. In the sex scenes for sure ie. wearing a blindfold but seeing all this stuff, wearing handcuffs above your head but your bra is taken off you, if it is a front clasp then write it but I don’t think so because bra would still be there. Saying she has a cute pink top then ripping her dress, the scenes just didn’t flow. I kept getting thrown out of them because they were not physically possible, didn’t make sense. I love recreating the scenes in my head but I can not with this book so I couldn’t get into the smexy scenes. This was slightly better than the first one. Will not be reading the rest of the series. I didn’t want to hear how his “dominant” side hated being under the boss. I likes some of the BDSM content but there was no talk of aftercare. Nothing but she liked pain. After she’s been stabbed in both legs, sliced several times and lot enough blood that she kept passing out…. I am suppose to believe she ran to his car then got doctored up after a high speed chase and then had wild sex? I like to delve into these worlds authors create but it was literally impossible with this book. Not reading the rest.

This is a wonderful mafia read with bit of a twist, riveting read
Ava is a Private Investigator that has been earning her living since she had to leave the police force after being falsely accused by a bent male officer, she went out on her own and had garnered quite a name for herself as a problem solver, working privately for some of the larger Mafia families even though she is aware of the risk.
Called in to work for Enzo D’Angelo after one of his Capo was executed whilst he was in the wrong side of town. Ava discovers that once again the man behind the hit was the Shadow and had been employed by the Russians, unbeknown to Enzo his man was actually dirty but he will not hear this all he wants is revenge.
Yuri has been watching Ava for over two years and he has to admit that he more that just a little attracted to her and the fact that she wants someone to be her daddy and he knows just the man. When it is apparent that the man at her BDSM club is the Ghost she has to admit she is sexually drawn to him, however she knows the risks involved.
When Ava and Yuri begin a relationship and things seem to be going so well the whole thing suddenly takes a turn for the worst when Ava is kidnapped by Enzo who proceeds to torture her for the name of the Ghost, however she is determined that she will never give up her daddy.
This is a wonderful read, it had absolutely everything you could possibly hope in a story like this and it holds your attention from start to finish.

Vorab, ich hasse es, schlechte Rezensionen zu hinterlassen, aber jede Seite dieses Buches hat quasi danach geschrien. Ich habe das Buch bei 7% abgebrochen, es war eine Qual überhaupt bis dorthin zu kommen. Dieses Buch hätte dringend ein Lektorat gebraucht, es war unfreiwillig komisch zu lesen, da sehr oft Dopplungen vorkamen oder unnötige Wiederholungen. Als die Autorin dann auch noch den italienischen "Capo" als Kapodaster bezeichnet hat, war für mich klar, dass ich dieses Buch nicht weiter lesen kann, ohne Kopfschmerzen zu bekommen.
Nur zur Erklärung: Ein "Capo", auch Caporegime oder Capodecina, ist ein Rang, der in der Mafia vergeben wird. Ein Kapodaster ist ein Hilfsmittel für Gitarrenspieler. Wem das nicht ohnehin klar ist, der kann in weniger als 10 Sekunden die Suchmaschine seines Vertrauens befragen und bekommt genau diese Antwort heraus.
Wäre es der einzige Fauxpas in diesem Buch, hätte ich darüber hinweggesehen, aber da es schon eine ganze Menge waren, und ich gerade mal beim zweiten Kapitel war, ist es ein no go.
Leider habe ich zu spät gesehen, dass ich schon einmal ein Buch der Autorin gelesen habe, dass ich ebenfalls abgebrochen habe weil es so schlecht war. Book 2 of this amazing New York Mafia Doms series introduces us to Yuri Lenkov a hired assassin who does work for the most of the major players in NYC. His current assignment is to kill the Capo of Enzo D'Angelo the Italian Don. He knows that this is going to cause some issues but when Andrei Petrov requests and pays well for him to do a job he does it without question. What Yuri wasn't expecting was for Enzo to hire PI Ava Jackson. She is an amazing woman and a very thorough and productive PI. He had a brief encounter with her 2 years ago but recently he just watches her every Friday night at his club Sapphire; where she is a member. He knows she is a sub and he wants to maker her call him Daddy and submit to everything he plans to do with her but she is a tough woman and doesn't take lightly that he is making it hard to find the truth for Enzo. She takes her job very seriously but she knows that Yuri is the man she is looking for but she can't bring herself to turn him into Enzo because the need to protect him and love him, outweighs the job.
They are explosive together and you will enjoy watching them delve deeper into each other and work through their conflicts as a united pair. Their love is hot, spicy, and full of angst. You will love their story and this amazing series continues in Book 3; where we learn more about Enzo!

Really good but..
I'll start with the negative and 4 star reasoning...
I really liked this book but i felt like the sexy scenes were a totally different writing style compared to the last book in this series. In this book they felt kinda rushed and all over the place. And by that I mean in one sentence he's spanking her panty clad butt then the next he's inside her. No mentioning of taking panties off or moving to the side. Idk it just felt like there was some mistakes in the plot. Don't get me wrong they were still hot i just wished the scenes were more detailed like book 1. Another thing at the ending I couldnt get over is, Ava was hurt bad like stabbed and cut up but after a few hrs of sleep she wakes up and gets f.cked hard and rough and thrown into different positions. Like how is she not hurting or bleeding out from her wounds...
Now on to the good....
Now even with all the rushness of the sexy scenes they were still hot. I loved Yuri talking dirty, it was hot as hell. I also loved that Ava was a strong independent woman by day but wanted to submit by night. Their love story was perfect! The suspense plot was amazing as well! Even with the negatives I mentioned this book was still really good and i really enjoyed it! I can't wait to read Enzo's story!

I am a huge fan of the author as it is, so I had some high expectations for this book. I most certainly was not let down at all, I actually could not put this story down until I knew how the book ended.

I was completely captivated by the relationship that formed between Yuri and Ava. I absolutely loved that she was more than willing to submit to him, I don't usually like seeing a strong female lead that is too bratty. Ava was the perfect mix of submissive and strong. I was really impressed by her willingness to endure the torture to save Yuri's identity. It was also really great to see an dominant male not try to over step the bounds by being overbearing. Yuri was perfect for Ava, he knew exactly how to handle her. The icing on the cake was both of them accepting being tied to Andrei's brotherhood so they could be together, it really got to me that Yuri was willing to see her go if she could not handle being tied to his life.
Definitely worth the read and you most definitely will find yourself up late just to see how it all ends for them.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This was Ava and Yuris love story. I was really looking forward to this book after reading the first one in the New York Mafia Doms series. I am really liking these bad boys and the strong women that complete them. Yuri is a hired assassin and Ava is a private investigator. He mainly works for the Russian Bratva. She has been working with the Italians. A couple of years ago, she almost solved a hit that went down where he had someone else take the fall. He has been watching and secretly wanting her for a while now. His newest hit, her job for the Italians and the two of them finally coming face to face all blows up on them. Yuri will do what needs to be done. It will be up to Ava if she lifts her chin high and follows the man she loves or walks away for good. This book is full of danger, drama, bad mafia men and women who can walk by their side. The story and characters were great. I am really looking forward to the next book.

Her Russian Daddy is book 2 in Bianca Cole's New York Mafia Doms series. It can be enjoyed as part of the series or alone. This is the story of Ava and Yuri. It's a true opposites attract scenario. The two have unbelievable chemistry and play really well of one another. You know that everything will eventually work out but still can't help but get caught up in the story. We have all the hallmarks of an engaging story. We have drama, suspense, passion, action, power and drool worthy chemistry wrapped into page turning story that makes it all so compelling. Ava is a stronger female character than we often see in these books but the author does a beautiful job of making her the right balance of strength and submission. Interactions don't come across as forced and Yuri, although dominating, gives Ava room to show her strength in other ways. A perfect pairing.

Ava used to be a cop until things went wrong and she left the force. Now she's a private investigator and basically helps solve problems for people. Enzo is in the mafia and calls for Ava when one of his men is killed. He wants her to locate who killed him even if his man wasn't doing right he didn't want him dead. Yuri has been watching Ava for awhile now and when he sees his chance to claim her he does so. Ava begins a relationship with Yuri never expecting to learn who he really is. Things go sideways when she is kidnapped by Enzo and tortured because he believes she has the answers he's looking for. Will Yuri be able to save her? Can they continue their relationship after everything settles?
This is a great story that will have you on the edge of your seat. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Second book of the series, I liked it better than Irish Daddy. Had more of a plot with the mafia with action and adventure. Less use of the word “daddy.” The ending was off. After Yuri rescues Aria from the prison torture cell in Enzo’s mansion she is too weak to stand from being tortured and bloodied. He carries her out of the house and then all of a sudden she can run full throttle and get into the car where they have a car chase with Enzo’s guys, now she is speaking coherently even though she was just in and out of unconsciousness. Then when they get to Andrei’s house she is seen by a doctor for where Enzo slashed her cheek, stabbed both of her legs, and sliced her belly. Yuri is initiated into the brotherhood. Then bam he goes to check on her and he thinks that’s a perfect time to do anal with her. Wow okay. Is this what the doctor ordered?

Her Russian Daddy is the second book in the New York Mafia Doms series and is the story of Ava and Yuri. There are two characters that are opposites and in real life would not work together. But with Bianca Cole's writing and a twisted and dark Mafia story they are well matched in so many ways. The story-line is filled with drama, danger, mystery, suspense, violence, darkness, romance and a lot of steamy and sizzling sex. Both characters are nicely defined and even though Yuri is not a man you would ever want to meet in real life as a book boyfriend he just lights up the Kindle in more ways than one. I enjoyed this book a lot and had a hard time putting it down.

Really enjoy Bianca Cole books, but this one was a bit under par.
This is about Ava who turned into a PI for the Mafia and crime lords, after she was sacked from her job as a police office. She has been assigned a job by the Italian boss, to find out who killed his capo.
Yuri is the Russian enforcer, who goes by the name of the “ghost”, who Ava has to track down and hand over to the mob, for them to deal with him.
Sounds easy, Ava thinks it is, until is he falls for Yuri and enters into a steamy Dom and sub relationship.
It was good in parts, but it seemed to go off a little for me, once Yuri had saved Ava. What happened with Enzo seeking revenge and all out war with the Italians and the Russians? Seemed Enzo was this ruthless murderer one minute and then nothing more was heard.

Ava and Yuri have a relationship that should not work, but does. They are from two totally different worlds. Ava is a private investigator and Yuri is a contract killer. But Yuri has also been obsessed with Ava for two years. Yuri is a daddy dom and Ava is a baby girl so Yuri's first inclination is to do everything in his power to protect Ava. And protection is definitely something she needs.
This book was exciting and a very enjoyable read for me. There was a little violence, so if you are sensitive to such things be aware. But I love this book. It is a standalone book, but has a few characters that have appeared in some of her previous books.

I thought that is was a great book. Ava and Yuri were fantastic together. Yuri has been obsessed with Ava for 2 years but has kept his distance until finally the stars aligned and he couldn't any more. Ava is looking for a killer but little does she know (at first) but the man that checks all her boxes, is that man. These two shouldn't work as Yuri is a killer and Ava is a PI but they are perfect for reach other. I loved the connection and the chemistry between these two. This book offers drama, steam, intrigue, pain, pleasure, mafia romance, action and a fantastic HEA. I would recommend this book and I can't wait for the next book!

Ava is a private investigator and also a member of a BDSM club. She wants a daddy and Yuri has been watching her for a long time. Yuri is the Shadow a hit man for the Russians. Ava is investigating a hit on one of Enzo's capo, who was dirty. Yuri will answer all the questions that Ava has if she will go to dinner with him. Easy right, no now he wants her to call him daddy. There is a kidnapping and torture. There is plenty of action. The interaction between Yuri and Ava is outstanding. The betrayal and suspense kept me engaged and with the story from start to finish. The premise is different than most mafia books. That and the dialogue between Ava and Yuri makes this book outstanding.

Ava is a private investigator that works for the criminals. She tried to work legitimately, but she needed to eat. Yuri is an assassin for the criminal element. They meet because Ava is investigating Yuri's latest target's death for a rival mafia group. She figures out who he is and he insists that they start a relationship. Ava is scared because if the rival boss finds out, he'll kill her. He ends up kidnapping her and Yuri has to rescue her. There is no apology that these characters stay on the criminal side. They do have a HEA. This is definitely a different kind of mafia romance!

Yuri is one of the best assassins in the city and with Ava on his trail after he killed Enzo’s right hand man, Yuri knows he can’t stay away from the woman he has been lusting after from afar for years. I loved this impossibly forbidden situation that Yuri and Ava find themselves in and how they can’t seem to avoid denying it. Yuri may be a cold blooded, unfeeling assassin but around Ava he comes alive. Ava prides herself on always getting the job done, until she crosses paths with Yuri. As the steam level rises as the two dance around one another, it becomes abundantly clear what the other must do per their principles, but sometimes a higher calling takes precedent. How will it all end? You have to read to read to find out and will be rooting for Yuri and Ava to come out winners!

I love this sub follow on series. It's a perfect cross over from outside characters from the bratva series she wrote. Yuri has been mentioned in her previous books and it's great to see his story let alone a perfect crossover in time lines. Well worth the read! Romance. Hot scenes. Alpha kick ass dominance and one very brooding russian lol

This is the second book in the series and it can be read as a stand-alone. Ava is a PI and on occasion works for the mafia. She has been trying to uncover an assassin called the Ghost, she didn’t expect him to become her daddy. What will happen when she discovers the truth? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with lots of twists and turns. A great mafia read.
