New York Mafia Dons #4

Her Cartel Daddy

Rate this book
I've admired him from afar for years, until he shows his true colors.
Dante Ortega has played guitar at the club I work at ever since I started.

His band is famous in New York City.

One night, I find out the gorgeous guitarist has a very dark secret.

One moment I'm a bartender living a normal life.

The next, I'm kidnapped by the man of my dreams.

I'm a witness to a murder he committed.

It turns out Dante is the leader of the cartel in New York.

My life is turned upside down faster than I can blink.

His touch is as cruel as it is gentle.

The chemistry between us is impossible to deny and always has been.

Now that the secret is out, he wants to cross the line and make me his.

He won't take no for an answer, and his tastes are anything but vanilla.

Will I still want him now I know the darkness that lies within?

Her Cartel Daddy is the fourth book in The New York Mafia Doms series by Bianca Cole. This book is a safe story with no cliffhangers and a happily ever after ending. This story has dark themes, hot scenes, and bad language. It features an over the top possessive cartel boss who loves to dominate.

4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Style: Dark Cartel/Mafia Romance
Story: 4/5
Enjoyment: 4/5
Dark Level: 3/5
Sexual: SEX-CITINGLY APPEALING & GOOD
Triggers: Yes
Male: Sexy, Alpha, Dark & Intense
Series: Book 4
Pages: Loc. 2572
Kindle Unlimited: Yes

STORY:
The start of this book in some weird way reminds me of the movie Desperado with Antonio Banderas with his guitar and guns and the sexy damsel/captive. I love the rollercoaster of emotions I got as the story started on infatuation, lust, hate, want and love. The story pull me in. I love the action, the characters and the pull and tug of Dante’s and Violet’s relationship. Why am I only now just reading this series?! And it’s the final one book grrrr.

CHEMISTRY:
The chemistry was off the charts for me and my personal taste with what I want to read. Dante in the first few chapters was the sweetest thing. After Violet discovers who he was, dark, intense and sexy emerges and this gives the best sexual chemistry between the two. His constant need to dominate her while trying to emotionally keep his distance was good. I like to say it was Dom/sub adjacent, not hardcore BDSM but enough to wet the appetite. Violet was also being held captive and her feistiness along with her bedroom weakness made this indeed more juicy (literally juicy).

SECONDARY CHARACTERS
So sad this is the last book in the series because I love to read secondary characters that I can see having their own story. I would love to read Dante’s best friend his second, Javier and maybe even Alice, Violet’s best friend.

Overall, I have not read this series but will need to put on my TBR list. I got a story, action, dirty/juicy sex, a captive and a dark intense Alpha cartel boss. No complaints here.

***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read and hope this review was helpful.

**Triggers: violence, kidnapping, rough sex, etc...

I enjoyed this book. The storyline had some originality to it and it was entertaining. The chemistry and sparks had plenty of sizzle and I found Violet and Dante likable. High levels of drama, tension, turmoil, twist, heat and emotion flow throughout this gripping read. I am posting a impartial review of my own accord.

This one has a different tone to it then the others. Dante seems much much darker then the others in the series. He seems to turn on a dime. Of course there is rough sex a lot!

The last installment of the series. The Cartel Daddy was my least favorite. The male character was a bit too dominant and I didn’t like that he wouldn’t let no be the answer. I know it was a dom book but there is a line. Now that I’ve read the four books in this series I see that it’s a theme in the writing.
Infatuation, female character resisting, male character relentlessly pursuing, female character giving in, having mind-blowing sex over and over, female gets captured by the enemy mob, male character rescues, they have sex right after the rescue, they get married, and then pregnant.

A steamy fast-paced mafia read. Violet works as a bartender where Dante plays with his band. Sparks are flying but then she learns the truth of who he really is when she witnesses him committing a murder. What will happen when he kidnaps her, and sparks begin to fly? Sizzling chemistry, lots of drama, suspense and steam. I liked it.

That story was hot, steamy, dark and gritty. With a hot cartel boss that fell in love with a sweet bartender. Love at first sight with a HEA and a whole lot of action and J/P scenes. DD/lg play with a dark twist but really hot 🔥🔥🔥 But in the end they both get their HEA😍😍😍

It was refreshing to have the opening to the book make it seem as though Dante is just part of a band but that you get the feeling there is more to it. I liked being on the edge of my seat within the first few chapters of the book, I was not sure what I was getting into. I admit that I was scared for Violet when she witnessed the murder.
Dante is a hard ass that I had a hard time liking at first because of his dominance. But of course, as time went on, I am not sure who wanted him more, me or Violet lol. His dominance is really what was doing it for me. It may have also had something to do with his Spanish throughout the book, I could just imagine a man like him saying things like that to me in Spanish, YUMMMM.
I was kinda surprised to find out that Dante is engaged to be married as his father has arranged his marriage to a woman who is in Mexico (Dante’s father runs the cartel in Mexico). I was worried seeing as Violet is a witness and he is supposed to kill her and contemplates sending her to his father to deal with. Thankfully, he gets too possessive of her after wanting her for two years that he decides he wants her all for himself. Hence his little contract. Then someone tries to kill Violet, wonder who that could be?
My heat breaks for Violet when she tells Dante that she is in love with him, but he cannot seem to say it back to her. The way he described her looking at him as she waited to see if he would respond to her just really got me all up in my feels. My heart really sank when she ran out of the house and got herself caught, once she came to and found out what kind of man had taken her, I got a little scared. I wondered how she was going to get out of that situation if no one knew where she was.
I was happy when Dante’s father called him to let him know who had Violet and that he was proud of his son for making his own way, even though he broke off an engagement. He is heir to the cartel and can do such things. Dante’s feelings of being accepted and somewhat loved by his father was nice. Also, it was totally hot how Dante came rushing in to save Violet. I mean, it was bad what was about to happen to her, but I have to say that any man coming in like that would get me all excited.
Reading that Violet finally accepts the man that he is, even after witnessing him kill Miguel and then take care of Filipe for what he was going to do to her. I had been holding out for her to finally tell him that she not only loves him but that she also accepts the man that he is.

Could not put down brilliant read
Violet doesn’t want much out of life she didn’t have the best start losing her mother which left her to be with the stepfather that was vile. So she was quick to get out of there and head for New York she works in a bar and lives for her Friday nights. Not because she’s out partying but because her favourite band play at the bar and one very sexy Hunk of a man plays a guitar called Dante. She had been watching him for two years now, and dreams of the day that she would find your hands on him she knew he would never go for her when he had all these women coming to watch him play.
Dante is the head of the New York Cartel. His father who lives in Mexico is the head of the family and Dante looks after New York. He had been coming to the same bar to play in his band because of one girl and that was Violet. The only problem was he had always promised himself he would never bring an innocent into the life of the Cartel so he never acted on it that was until he was alone with her and kissed her. He thought her kisses would taste of innocence but they didn’t, they tasted a passion and of lust. As the guys were packing up their equipment into the van a small time drug dealer came up and disrespected Dante So he killed him just as Violet came out to empty the bins And saw everything!!!! Dante ends up kidnapping her and needs to decide if she needs to die because that was the rules in the cartel you never left a witness alive but this was violet. Or be his prisoner for life??
Would he leave Violet alive and if so what would the plan Be???? Could violet ever forgive the man that she had been infatuated for for so many years?? Could they find a life together or would it all just be too much??
This is a truly brilliant read I can put it down I enjoyed seeing the two sides to Dante. The darkness that is within him, to meet the dominant but also the need of acceptance I liked Violet from the get go and she proved to be a stronger Lady and i did like her sassy side. I just could not put it down look forward to the next book in the series

A simply captivating read, mafia at it’s very best
This is a simply splendid read that has your attention from the very start as we have the unlikely setting of a local bar and a weekly Friday night and the group that play every week without fail, they have become fairly popular with a good following and yet they continue to play in this small venue.
Dante is the head of the American Mafia and he has been running things very successfully for some years, he is known as being totally focuses and he stood no nonsense from anyone and would take out anyone that deviated from the rules.
Violet has been watching the group for over two years from behind the bar where she works without fail every Friday, she loves the music and the songs the group sing and play but she also has quite the thing for the guitarist and vocalist Dante. Who would have thought on the night he actually had kissed her lightly he had then also threatened to take her life if she decided that she would not accept the alternative choice he gave her.
Who would have though that one night going outside to dispose of the trash after closing and then coming across Dante after he had just killed someone, she had tried to run but had quickly been captured and now she knows what her choices are?
Dante knows that if his father discovers he has nit killed Violet he will take matters into his own hands however, none of his group would dare to give him up they know better and trust between this grout is so important and it keeps them alive.
This is another riveting read, I assure you that once you begin reading it is impossible to put the book down until you reach the very end.
Simply captivating.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Bad boy….check
Bod boy’s crazy brother/friend…check
Bad boy’s Kryptonie…check ….check and check
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
It’s edgy yet always within boundaries of morality. It’s compelling, like Nutella, bacon and oreo cookies had a threesome and this story is their lovechild. Dante the head of the Mafia plays at the bar where Violet works and she has watched them for years from the bar where she works and enjoys their music but never did, she thinks in a million years that he was involved in the Mafia. She never thought the same man would kiss her in the evening would also, threaten her life since she is now considered a lose end for him all because she took the trash out at the end of the night and saw something she shouldn’t have seen and of course she tried to run but he caught her and now she has a choice she has to make. But she also has to make the right decision because if his father gets any idea, he allows someone to live well let’s just say he will handle the situation accordingly. Will Violet end up being his undoing with the feeling she wakes up in him so warning if kidnapping, dom/sub scenes and danger isn’t your thing then do not read this book.

Her Cartel Daddy is the fourth installment in Bianca Cole’s New York Mafia Doms series. In this one, she chronicles the romantic journey of Violet McKenzie and Dante Ortega. They meet when Dante and his buddies, Ric, Francisco, and Javier, all play in a band, The Ortegas. Unbeknownst Violet is the fact that Dante is the head of the New York Ortega Crime family. Violet witnesses Dante murder a disrespectful drug dealer. In the Ortega crime family witnesses are immediately disposed of; however, Dante cannot kill Violet. For two years they’ve danced around a romance. What will he do now? Can he keep her safe? Can she accept him and his lifestyle? To discover what unfolds, you must read this book.

Ms. Cole does another remarkable job with this mafia romantic suspense. She employs a two-prong approach to her plot. The first being the navigation of a Don keep his hold on his piece of the criminal underbelly of New York while dealing with his dominant and ruthless father in Mexico. The second is the romantic journey of Violet and Dante. This is also a semi age-play romance. Through Ms. Cole’s use of a dual point of view readers get to watch as Dante works to righting the course of his romance, keeping Violet safe, and standing up to his father. I enjoyed how she uses dialog, dual point of view, and descriptive language to create vivid scenes while building tension to move her plot along. Nicely done, Ms. Cole.

Dante Ortega plays in a band Violet is a bartender at a bar were Dante plays ever Friday night they've flirted for two years and nothing has happened and the moment it dose Vi discover she doesn't know Dante very well at all now hes kidnapped her.

Dante wants Vi but because of who he is he's stayed away until she sees his darkness as the leader of the Cartel in New York he has to do alot of dark things and he has some very dark taste and now Vi is finally his.

This book has some dark themes murder past abuse dark sexual thems and danger. The story flowed well there were some minor issues with wording in certain scenes but I'm sure it will be fixed before publication maybe one more read threw by some Beta readers. My only issue with the book as a whole and it's my personal opinion I found Dante's choice of being in a band on the side strange even with the reason given hes in the Cartel a leader and the son of a Cartel boss so it was just odd also Vi dosen't seem to ever come clean to Dante on her past and things that happened to her trust me this would have been the perfect person for Dante to off and lastly I wish that safe words had been introduced sooner in the sex scenes due to the level of violence that Dante exudes.

I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.

This is Book 4 of the New York Mafia Doms series. This book introduces us to Dante Ortega who is son of the cartel leader in Mexico. He is in charge of their New York Cartel and he is is the leader. He controls everything happening there but he can't get Violet off his mind. She is the beautiful bartender who works at the pub they play at locally every Friday. Seeing her every Friday is what makes his week. He enjoys seeing her but he knows they can never cross that line because she would be in danger.

However, when an incident occurs outside the pub and Violet witnesses it he knows he has to kidnap her because she can never go free since what she saw and now knows. Violet is taken back by Dante's violence and she had no idea he was part of the cartel. She doesn't know what is going to happen to her now but she knows she has to survive and try to repress the need for Dante even though she knows the truth.

She can't stop wanting him and he wants her just as much. They agree to a contract that will ensure they both hopefully get what they want. Watching them come together and grow as a couple is hot, spicy, sinful, and full of hot scenes of them getting to know each other better. Violet keeps him on his toes and he is smitten by her strength and beauty. You will love this story as much as the other doms throughout this series. Dante is one of my favorites. Happy Reading!

A hot cartel alpha and a good girl

So the daddy kink thing is something I try my best to avoid . It’s just not for me but I accidentally read Savage Daddy without looking at the cover and I just thought it was a mafia romance . The daddy thing really wasn’t that big in that book and I loved the story . I loved the dominance of the hero. That made me come back for this book . I loved this story .

Violent worked as a waitress at a bar . Dante’s band played in the bar on Friday nights . They have spent the last two years flirting and being drawn to one another . Dante knows Violet isn’t the kind of girl that stays with a cartel boss so he avoids having a relationship with her and keeps it to flirty behavior.

Then one night Violet is in the wrong place at the wrong time and witnesses a murder . Dante has to kill her because you never leave witnesses .

He was super possessive and alpha and that’s the draw I had to their story . For me I can overlook the daddy thing because this author writes really alpha male leads. If you are into the daddy kink even better for you to read this .

Wow...

Ok so this book was f.cking awesome..
I feel like it has a totally different writing style than the last book in this series. This book reminded me a lot of book 1 but also had its own flare. The sex scenes in this book were holy hotness! They were actually detailed, had meaning, and length to them. Definitely a book were extra panties are needed to change in to. The story plot was amazing as well. There was just enough suspense to keep you on the edge of ur seat. It didnt over power the building of the main characters relationship which i loved! Overall a sexy hot as sin book!
*series review*
I feel like a different author wrote this book and book 1. Book 2 and 3 in this series weren't that great. But book 1 and now book 4 was hot as hell. Like i said before I felt book 1&4 had totally different writing styles than book 2&3.. Book 2&3 just had quite a few plot errors and the sex scenes were rushed. Book 3 was better than book 2 but it still wasn't that great. Not compared to book 1&4.

This is a page turning dark and intense mafia/cartel read. Violet is a bartender at El Torero where Dante’s band the Ortega’s play every Friday night. She has been in love with him since she first made eye contact with him 2 yrs ago, but he has never asked her out even though they flirt with one another and the attraction is mutual. Dante is captivated with Violet but with his position as the head of the Ortega cartel in the states, he can’t give in to his desire. When Violet witnesses him murdering a man in cold blood, he has only one choice “no witnesses”. A very dark intense storyline that keeps you riveted with the violence, kidnapping, Dom/sub scenes, passion, danger, suspense and Dante discovering feelings he never experienced before. The characters are exciting and captivating. Dante and Violet were great together Awesome read.

This is a story about Dante and Violet. She is a bartender at a bar that Dante plays with his band every Friday night. Violet has made it a ritual to watch his performance every week. Dante comes to the bar to play just to see Violet. Violet thinks she not good enough as there are too may women after him. Dante only sees her. Violet only knows that he is in a band and nothing more about him. Dante kisses her one night. That same night Violet sees Dante kill a man outside the bar and he takes her captive. Dante has to give her ultimatum accept him or she dies. Does she accept what he tells her? Or does she say no and he kills her? Plain and simple you would think right? These two are for sure at a standstill till she gives him the answer. If you think you know what will be her answer grab this and read and make sure you are correct.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the mafia romance between Violet and Dante. She is a bartender where Dante plays with his band. They have had an attraction between them for a while. Everything that she thought she knew about him changed in one moment. He was never who she thought he was. He is a violent and bad man who has now taken her. His secrets cannot change the sparks that have always been between them. For a man who is far from weak, she brings out emotions he did not know were possible. Violet cannot resist him in the end, regardless of the violence that surrounds him. These two are perfect for each other. I hated to see this series end.

This was an awesome book! This is the forth and final book of this series and I am sad to see it end. I was hooked on this book from the first book; gripping / page tuning book. I loved Violet and Dante together. The connection and chemistry between these two was crazy! I loved the suspense, intrigue, steam, passion, action, the little twists and turns and the sweet yet steamy HEA. Dante has darkness radiating off of him but he shows a softer/loving side to only Violet. I loved that even though Dante has a lot of darkness in him, Violet loves him wholeheartedly. I would recommend this book, series and Ms. Bianca as an amazing author!

This is a great story and the totally gorgeous Dante is perfect with his dark tastes... and has his very own dungeon!! Violet has no idea what's in store for her as she dreams of him.
For 2yrs Cartel boss Dante has wanted to claim bartender Violet but he wont bring an innocent into his life. He only sees her on Fridays when he plays in his band. Then she sees him murder someone and he has to kill her or go against everything to keep her... as his slave, his possession. Her fantasy is quickly replaced with a locked room and an incredibly dominant Dante which is a total turn-on.
I swear I'd happily swap places with Violet :)

I adore a dark, alpha daddy. Love when that daddy in the mafia or the cartel.

Violet is a hardworking bartender at the bar Dante plays at, with his band. He has a rule -well his buddy does- about not fraternizing with the employees. Violet has been watching Dante for years, but has never been brave enough to do anything more. Things look to be in a holding pattern, when Violet see Dante Dante takes Violet to keep her contained, and stop her from talking about what she’d witnessed.

The characters had such chemistry and the story was a page turner. I couldn’t put the book down and I was invested in this couple. An absolute great read!

Dante Ortega plays guitar in a band that plays in a bar where Violet works as a bartender for the last couple of years. She has been in love with him the entire time but was unaware that Dante has a very dangerous secret. Dante is the head of the Ortega Cartel in America. Dante is put in a bad predicament One particular night she witness him killing someone outside the bar. Dante has no choice but to take her in order to keep her from talking. Dante also has feelings for Violet but has never acted on them. This book is a dark daddy-dom mafia romance. This book has a lot of angst, passion, dom/sub, very hot scenes. Very good book.

Violet is a bartender who has been crushing on Dante, a singer/guitar player for two years. She thinks he isn't interested in her because the band is going to be big but she doesn't know what he really does for a living. Dante is head of the Cartel in New York. He was always taught that women were a weakness and he is finding that to be true because Violet is his weakness. When she witnesses Dante kill someone her life changes forever.

Great book. Wonderful and intense characters. I do think that there were some gaps that left a lot of unanswered questions.

What started out two years ago when Dante and his band played at the bar Violet worked and she had an instant attraction. They flirted, but Dante stayed away due to his other line of work. So when Violet takes the trash out she witnesses Dante killing a man so now she is his. He should have killed her because of the no witness rule. Dante is alpha and he is a dom. I really like Dante and how he flirted and then he had to keep her. Violet was a sweet character and at times my heart ached for her. Dante stepped up and did what was right. Really liked this story and the characters were wonderful.

Great story.
Oh my word I loved this book I didn't want to put it down. Violet & Dante's story was hot from the start with the mega sexual chemistry between them but when she saw what she did & he kidnapped her it when he should have killed her. Being the leader of the Cartel meant that he was a dangerous enemy to have but things between him & Violet got complicated but refused to let himself love her incase she was taken & used against him. This story was full of danger, mega hot sex, anger, friendship, loyalty but in the end love conquers all.

This is possibly one of my favourite 'daddy' books I've read.

Dante a cartel leader is infatuated with a woman called Violet who works at a bar one of his clients owns. Violet sees something she shouldn't have and now he's taken her. From that moment on, it's one hot read.

I found Dante to be a brilliant character. He's strong, powerful and a dom. Reading some of his interactions with Violet cracked me up at times because she just kept telling him no😂.
Violet is also an amazing character, I loved that she was strong, feisty and a complete fighter!

If you're looking for a great 'daddy' book with a interesting plot, I highly recommend this!

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this dark romance with a cartel theme and BDSM elements, following an alpha cartel leader as he falls for a sweet barmaid/waitress. Filled with plenty steamy sexy scenes, danger, action, betrayal, revenge, love and a happy ever after, well as happy as one can be building a family in the cartel world.

Well written, fantastic diverse brilliantly developed characters with amazingly strong chemistry and a gripping action packed storyline.

Added to my favourite author list no doubt about it, looking forward to reading more from Bianca Cole.

This was such a great dark story, very intense. Violet is a bartender where Dante's band plays. She has been attracted to him for the last 2 years but he's never shown much interest. They flirt but that's all. But Violet ends up seeing Dante kill someone in cold blood. "No witnesses" is the Mob manta. There was violence, kidnapping, Dom/Sub action, danger, passion, suspense, and finally love. The characters were great together. A dark romance that will have you rooting for the bad guy!
For 2 years Dante and Violet dance around one another every Fri night at the bar where Violet works and Dante plays in a band, until Dante follows Violet to her boss’ office and steals an earth shattering kiss. Yet when Violet witnesses Dante in action, Dante has no option but to take Violet as his own. What follows is a push and pull between their magnetic feelings and Violet understanding Dante’s world. Can Dante turn Violet’s attraction around? You have to read to find out and won’t put the book down until you turn the last page!
