This story has hot scenes and bad language, so if those kind of books offend you, you won't like this one. It features a dreamy, hot over the top possessive wolf shifter king.

Meh

It's ok. Some things don't add up - *SPOILERS* like how she finds out shes preggo but they've only known each other for 2 weeks? Like what? The math ain't mathin.

Smexy times are decent, and also start immediately lol within hours of him seeing her. On to the Dragons book now for some witchy vibes ✨️

Great story.
Rhys is the Alpha wolf of all the Shifters packs in North America but had still not met his mate until the night he went into New York state where Shifters were not allowed banished by the humans. He snuck into a bar on the edge of town where most people were hiding themselves so not bothered about him but the instant he stepped in his senses went mad & he could smell then he saw her behind the bar & his wolf was desperate to get out he had found his mate. Anastasia also sensed something, she knew he was a Shifter by the shape & size of his body but this was different she wanted him. When their handed touched they both felt the buzz & again later when she went to bandage his cut hand but then he left & she felt like a part of her was missing. Then later he turned up outside the bar as she was clearing up & they couldnt deny their bond & gave in to their sexual chemistry only stopping when the humans saw him so he had to run but told her he'd be back for her. He was trapped & caught by the humans had locked down the town so he couldnt get back to his pack & taken to the court house where Langdon his arch enemy but who he went to school with who didn't want human & Shifters together so killed any he found. He knew Anastasia was his mate & even though they had only met a couple of hours ago he used the power of their bond to tell her where he was & he needed her help, she heard it & woke up with start knowing she had to get to him. She got there unseen freeing him from the cage he was in & instead of making a quick escape the sexual passion over took them & they mated desperately there in the office but then someone came into the office so they hid being unseen. As they escaped from the building he had no choice but to shift & kill 2 guards at first Anastasia was shocked horrified what he'd done but once they were free he explained it to her. They got to his pack but when the other pack members found out his mate was human they were angry one even tried to kill her but Rhys stopped him. As they tried to find away to stop the human council from killing the Shifters & them both being together as it was elsewhere across the country but it could involve the death of their leader Langdon who turned out to be Anastasia's dad but he'd deserted her 3 years ago after the death of her mother & she hated him. There was a lot of bloodshed, evil, lies & pain before they could be together at times it looked like they were going to lose each each other by his death or her father hiding her. However their love & bond as Mates was stronger than anything but there was also a lot of good discoveries & new friends made. I loved the first book & now can't wait to read Aiden & Ilsa story.

Rhys is the King of the wolf shifters for North America. Since New York banned supernatural beings from mixing with humans, Rhys misses time spent doing simple pastimes that he once took for granted. The fact that his biggest human adversary is head of the council doesn’t help. Rhys would give anything to get the state of New York to accept integration. But Rhys finds himself risking his life, travelling to one of his old haunts, a small pub on a back street. Something is pulling him there and when he sees Anastasia behind the bar, he knows why. She’s his mate. But bonds between humans and shifters are forbidden. The pull between them is too strong and neither want to break it. The story is a well written, interesting and enjoyable read. The chemistry between the Rhys and Anastasia is electric and their journey through human and shifter objections entertaining throughout. Superb.

Anastasia lives in New York and works in a bar. She lost her mother to a brutal murder and then her father didn’t want anything to do with her. Now he was over the council of New York and they didn’t allow shifters in New York. Rhys was the alpha over all shifters in North America. He needed to let off some steam and went in to New York although it wasn’t allowed. When he went in the bar her saw his fated mate, but she was human. His clan was against human / shifter mating but his wolf and his human self knew Anastasia was his mate. From the moment their eyes met it was destined and then their journey of danger, betrayal and the revelation of lies began as they fought to explore and learn to love each other. Fun and exciting story

Rhyes was the alpha king of wolves in New York area, he went into the city to have a drink but the wolves weren’t supposed to be able to mix with humans. He went to a bar and met his mate who was a human and it was against the law. Then he got caught and put in a silver cell, he was able to talk to Anastasia in her mind and tell her that he needed her, he was in danger. She went and got him out before her father killed him. They got out of the city and back to his pack, they had a few problems with some of his pack not accepting their mating but that got worked out. Then Anastasia and Rhyes and with other wolves help they took down her father and the council and opened New York City. So everything turned out great for everyone!

This well-written, 2nd book in a new series called Royally Mated Series has a great story about Rhyes, the Wolf King and him finding his mate in Anastasia who is a human female, when they meet in New York. This is forbidden in the his world and the story tells how they try to have to overcome they troubles they face. These characters are well-crafted and likable and the story has action, adventure, twists/turns, romance, and a HEA but a lot happens to them first. This is a well developed and entertaining story that is worth read.

Quick read, but kinda cringe as the MMC is like in his late 40s and acts like a teenager. And then New York seemed like a podunk little town, of all the United States where werewolves and humans aren’t at peace that just doesn’t make sense because New York is so liberal... had she said the southern states, for sure that would be believable. Or the whole her losing her v card in the middle of them escaping?!? Like maybe that was supposed to be like a suspenseful risky scene but just seemed on the rediculous side. it was almost just too cringy to take serious.

What happens when a wolf king mates to a human? You get twists and turns throughout the book. The plotline is constantly moving and rotating. Anastasia and Rhyes are a forbidden romance because she is human. That doesn't stop Rhyes wolf from wanting her or this alpha male from wanting to protect. The story flows smoothly. There are some times where the book feels rushed. There are some good secondary characters.

I like shifter stories. I read a lot of them. For some reason, this one did not catch my imagination. The main character was too out of control being he is an alpha wolf. I honestly did not connect with the characters in this story. It has a decent storyline, but for some reason, it just didn't connect with me. I am sure many others will love it and it is just me.

This is the second book in the series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. Rhyes is the alpha king of wolves and isn’t allowed to mate with a human. When he meets Anastasia, a human, he knows that she is his even if she is a human. When he is caught, Anastasia helps him get free. Will is pack accept his mate? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters and an entertaining shifter read. I really liked it.

Book two in the Royally Mated series and it is an electrifying un-put-a-down-able read! The story line drama-filled, witty, and engaging with suspense, danger, twists and turns, action, and intrigue. This emotionally deep gripping read will grab hold of your attention from start to finish and leave you wanting more. Strong characters; their chemistry is intense and off the charts! Definitely recommended.

Shifter romance

Starts off well then falls into a pattern of predictability and gratuity. The story is ok but it's the over the top sex scenes with botty spanking. It's been done to death. I think the author missed an opportunity here to write a gripping story which could have included the odd sex scene. It's frustrating because the elements are there. Disappointing. It will appeal to some but I like my shifter books with a little more bite and character development.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved that this couple had to overcome the odds to be together. The story quickly grabbed my attention and I found myself actively rooting for this couple throughout. Fantastic story! Characters that will steal your heart. A storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat and glued to your kindle! For me it was a love- hate deal as the characters face their demons. You will feel their emotions and struggles. A definite must read.

Anastasia and Rhys have an interesting story that I enjoyed reading. I liked that even though shifter/human romances are not allowed Rhys knew from the moment he saw Anastasia that she was his mate. I felt like this book had a great story line that had a good amount of suspense to keep the book moving.

I really enjoyed this story. It was short but fast paced. The MCs were easy to get behind and understand there joys and pains. The enemy was thoroughly easy to hate. There were grammar issues that were hard to get around at times but it didn’t stop me from enjoyed the heck out of the book!

Good read! I really liked the story. It was interesting and liked that it brought everyone together. Steam was a major factor in this book. I probably could have dealt a little less steam but oh well. Cute ending too!
