Mattie Steinburg has been with Travis for over seven years but the drunken text she receives is the last straw. Travis wants to explore his options outside of their relationship which Mattie refuses to do. Mattie sets out to make things right with Travis only to have her plan thwarted by computer error. Mattie sees a military man outside the airport thinks nothing of it. Logan McNarry just buried his father something in his opinion should have happened years ago. Logan's interest is piqued by this college student. Mattie introduces herself to Logan and rediscovers what it's like to have conversation with someone who's interesting.
