Weird Files #1

The Alien Science Bus

Rate this book
Designed to assist reluctant readers and dyslexia sufferers, this book follows the British Dyslexia Association guidelines (printed on cream paper, double line spacing, large font, left justified and plenty of pictograms). To his parents, school friends and people who know him, Danny Weir is a clever, red-haired, ten-year-old boy who is mad about Science, U.F.O.s and the paranormal. Most of them know to keep him away from their electrical things, as they go wonky when he's about. But Danny has another type of 'power', a kind of sixth sense, or 'weird sense' as he calls it, for detecting anything extra-terrestrial or paranormal. When the Science Bus arrives at Greenman Primary, Danny is excited as he loves Science. However, he soon has the weirdest, creepiest feeling in his head when he meets the very strange Science Bus teacher, Mr Allen, and spots his lizard green eyes, forked tongue and fondness for munching live ants… Suitable for reading age 8 and interest age 8 - 12
