VIA I always knew monsters were real—I lived with one, and he shared my last name. Liam made it his mission to ruin my life single-handedly. He did all he could to prove me wrong when I thought I was unbreakable. And he finally did.
Being forced to push Ander away was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. And the worst part? I couldn’t even tell Ander why I had to end it. But the monster that still haunts me left me with a crumbling life and no other choice.
It's been six years, and I'm well into my twenties now. I’ve changed so much since that dreadful night. I’ve accepted a long time ago that we can never be together, but my stubborn heart hasn't gotten the memo; it still longs for him and probably always will.
ANDER I can't just give up, not again. Not on her. Not on us. It was always supposed to be us. We both know it.
I'll be waiting once she’s ready because she’s it for me.
Addie Renee is an author who lives in Southeast Louisiana with her husband, three kids, and two doggies. Pursuing writing has always been a dream of hers, yet she considered this aspiration out of reach. Until one day, she decided to give it all she had, live for the moment, and go for it. She firmly believes it's okay to be scared, but do it anyway.
Addie's biggest goal for writing is to create realistic stories and characters that her readers can relate to — stories that grip the heart from beginning to end.
Alongside writing, Addie is also a photographer. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, getting lost in good books, and having lazy days to spend time with and enjoy her family.
This book had me audibly gasping throughout the whole book! I did not want to put it down. Fate has a funny way of doing things! Everyone should read this book!
As you may know, I go into books without reading the synopsis because I like to be surprised.
I quickly picked up on what this book was about and was really intrigued by the plot, especially how we would get to the big twist. I really enjoyed the writing style—it was easy to read and kept me engaged. The characters had great chemistry, and there were some really sweet and emotional moments that stood out.
However, the middle of the story felt quite long. The craziness didn’t really kick in until about 75% through, and then everything wrapped up very quickly. I found the pacing a little uneven—while the build-up had potential, I wish there had been more backstory and stronger hints leading up to the chaos.
Even with the slower middle, I’m still interested in seeing where the second book goes and how the pacing will compare. There’s definitely enough intrigue to make me want to continue the series!
Holy cow that was a wild ride! I was hooked from the beginning! The suspense and emotional whiplash, you just wanted to reach into the book and hug the girl! All the trauma she experienced!
Oh my my favorite quotes from our MMC: "You came into my world like the wild-haired, bright-eyed, annoyingly optimistic, radiant ball of feisty chaos that you are, and I haven't been the same since. There is no me without you. I've lived without you, and I was an incomplete puzzle; you were always the missing piece. You've lit up my life from day one, Rosie."
Let me first start by saying I was honored to be an ARC reader for this book and am excited to give my feedback! From the very beginning this book has captured my attention. There is so much passion painted on each page you can clearly visualize what the author has written. In the beginning however, I feel she over explains the relationship between Ander and Via and doesn’t quite reach the limits of Liam’s role but, don’t let that deter you from choosing this book! Part two makes continuing reading worth it, you truly go through all the emotions and feel as though you are part of the story! All in all this book is a whirlwind of emotions and if you don’t give it a read you’ll miss out! The author has the writing style of Colleen Hoover so if you were satisfied with her books then this one is definitely for you! I look forward to more stories from Addie Renee and hope Never Stop becomes the first of a series, I would love to read more about the other characters along with how Ander and Via are doing in years to come!
I had the pleasure to be an ARC reader for Never Stop, and it definitely had me finishing it in a day in a half. The first part was a little bumpy, just to get the feel of it, but once you get to part 2… man did all the emotions come out. I was giggling, laughing, yelling at the characters in my room. Addie Renee grasped the concept of trauma and grief and letting pain go and deciding to be happy and trying new things. I loved this book. It was an honor to be able to read this book and I look forward to more from Addie!
I had the privilege of serving as an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) reviewer for Never Stop, which captivated me to the extent that I completed it within three days. Although the initial section progressed at a slower pace and required some acclimation, part two proved intensely emotive. I experienced a wide range of emotions, from amusement to frustration, as I became deeply invested in the characters. Addie Renee skillfully explored themes of trauma, grief, and personal growth, highlighting the importance of releasing pain and embracing happiness through new experiences. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and felt honored to have the opportunity to review it, eagerly anticipating Addie's future works.
Let me first start this review off with, I truly enjoyed Addie’s writing style, it’s easy to follow and understand. I'd give this one a 3.75. I enjoyed this story and start to the series, but I did feel the start of the book was slow and drug out a bit for me personally. I felt there was a lot of information over load in the start.
I would describe this as a slow burn, you get enough of the back history of Via and Ander to understand enough of their relationship. You get what Via had to endure growing up. Which explains why she is the way she is. Guarded. I would say it started picking up around the 75% mark for me.
I appreciate this story, for me there was more romance mixed with the past situation between Via and Ander. What are the chances you get set up on a date with your ex who just so happens to be the love of your life? But you’ve gotta push him away and not allow yourself happiness because there’s one person in your “family” that is tormenting you.
Via thinks the past is behind her and no can torment her anymore, until at her job there’s a guy that just won’t take no for answer…. Is it him? Is he leaving the creepy notes and flowers?
Spice? I’d give it a solid 2.5 there are few scenes
I am intrigued in the story and can’t wait to see what happens in book two, I have a feeling who it’ll be about too!

“Why can't you be like the other girls and pick flowers and make wishes on dandelions?" "Because dandelions don't actually do shit, Anderson Cole.”
When childhood/lovers are forced to disconnect due to traumatic events, what will happen when they unexpectedly come into each other’s lives again years later? Maybe first love deserves a second chance. - friends to lovers - second chance romance - forbidden romance
📚📚📚📚
I may be a LITTLE biased since I did help with this book, but Addie knocked it out of the park for her first novel. Never Stop is not only a romantic novel but also a journey through grief, longing, and the ability to choose happiness. The way mental health is portrayed is one of my favorite things about this book. Ander and Via’s journey to rekindling their relationship is absolutely beautiful! You’ll laugh, cry, kick your feet, and will certainly be yelling at the characters throughout the book.
Addie, It was so fun to share this experience with you and watch you grow as a writer! I’m so proud of you!🖤
~Dual Narration~Lauren Beck & Leon Knightley~This book was dual narrated by I feel like the narrators both did a great job voicing the opposite genders voice! I really felt the narrators were good fits for the characters as well!~
"Trauma is like a tidal wave that crashes in without regard for its surroundings, overspraying and soaking whatever is in its wake, uncaring if it's waterproof or not. Trauma tarnishes even the little things that once seemed minute. It can turn you into a version of yourself you sometimes don't even tend to recognize."
♡This was my first read by Addie Renee & I'm excited to continue the rest of this series! I didn't know this was a debut book for this author until after I listened to it, & that makes me even more impressed with this raw emotional story.
The first thing that stood out to me that I really enjoyed was that we were told the love story of Ander & Via from a dual pov perspective. We got to see where they started and where they ended from both sides, which made me connect with both of them on a deeper level.
This book was an emotional rollercoaster & shows just how much trauma can mold a person into someone they don't recognize. It takes true love to pull someone from the depths of their trauma, especially when their main reason for sinking so deep is to save the ones they love the most.
This book had me on the verge of tears multiple times and hit way closer to home than I anticipated. I loved the ending even though I was trying not to cry through it & the epilogue wrapped everything together perfectly. I'm excited to see where they rest of this series takes these characters.♡
So I want to start off by saying a huge thank you to Addie for choosing me to be on her ARC team! I am so honored to be here! This book had a lot of great moments, but for me, this book did not have what I would normally look for in a book. I thought most of the characters were well written and had good development, but there were a few that I did not feel attached to, and that really rubbed me the wrong way. The storyline also felt a little all over the place at times, and I felt as though the FMC was not true to her main personality for the entire book. She was written as a strong willed individual, but was portrayed as someone who was easily swayed by wants and temptations. Which, in reality I guess is not far from the truth. At the end of the day, I think this book will reach a vast majority of people in a very positive manner, that audience just isn’t me. Again, thank you Addie for choosing me to read this novel!!!
OMG WHAT A DEBUT!! I had the pleasure of being an arc reader for Addie’s first book and I loved it from the very beginning! I AM VIA AND VIA IS ME AHHH. Alright let me start lol. The first three chapters of book were a little rocky, but once you get past the background of it all it takes off from there. Once I got past the initial background every bit of the book was a hit for me. I related to Vias outlook on life I could swear Addie was in my brain when writing. That’s what I loved so much about this book. My favorite kind of genre is childhood friends to lovers and Addie sure did deliver. The spice was spicy and the love was sweet and I was kicking and screaming all throughout the book. The little bit of suspense and mystery throughout was the cherry on top. I loved every single character and now I want a book for Izzy and Jett!!! I can’t wait to read more from this author. But please please please go read this book asap!!!
I was so happy to be chosen to be an ARC reader for this book!! I do believe that the first part where she is describing Andre could have flown better, but besides that and some grammatical mistakes, this book was great! I LOVED their love so much. I would really enjoy more of their story. I see her dropping some Easter eggs to make this a series with the other characters 😉 I need more story with Izzy and Jett like yesterday!!
GIRL, I can not believe this is your first book!! I loved everything about this book. If i could give it more stars I would. I already ordered me my signed copy and can't wait to proudly display it.
All my feelings came out with this book. I was hurt, angry as hell, happy, sad, all of the above. I definitely wanted to slap some sense into Via at times. But the love between these characters was something to admire. Not just between the FMC and MMC but with Izzy as well. She is the epitome of a best friend.
This was just a beautiful read and I'm thankful I got to experience it.
I kind of struggled with this one, but I don’t blame the author on that, I do believe it was personal circumstances that led me to take a long time to read this.
There is a lot of trauma in this book so please read the trigger warning before starting this one!
I read through most of the book slowly, but by the last 4 chapters I was flying through it! I loved reading the story between Ander and Via and would be interested to see what happens with Izzy later on! I hated Liam from the start though, so great job on pulling out emotions and making me feel the hatred towards him!
Clark threw me off at times, but I knew from the start that things weren’t as they seemed and I think that kind of took away that element of surprise. I’m not quite sure what made it obvious to me, but something definitely did.
Overall, I did like this book, some of the wordings kind of threw me off, but I also understand that there are only so many words an author can use to describe body parts. I did like the two person POV, as I love knowing what each character is thinking in the moment.
I had the privilege of being an ARC reader for this book, and what an emotional roller coster!! This book was fantastic! Via overcoming so much trauma and heartbreak in her life, finds a safe place to land with Ander. This story was so beautiful and really portrayed the strength it takes to pull yourself out of a dark place. And let’s talk about the spice….shewwwwww Ander and his dirty mouth! This had it all thriller and romance and I really enjoyed Via and Ander’s story! I highly recommend!

This book has it all. Found family, suspense, friendship, childhood friends to lovers, second chance romance, angst, FREAKING SPICE.
Such a good story with an even sweeter ending. I was so happy for Ander and Via. Their love was truly never ending, regardless of every obstacle they faced together.
Cannot wait to read more from this author in the future! ♥️
I literally had the time of my life reading this book! I was hooked from the beginning! The suspense had me the whole book! I don’t want to spoil anything, but yall omg I must say I love a good 2X4 haha!! Addie, girl I can tell you put your heart into this book! I literally can’t wait for your next book!! 10/10 RECOMMEND reading this!! What are you waiting for????
A sweetly written, never stopping, love story. It has grief, loss, and scenes of abuse, but also has growth, love, and spice. The book title perfectly sums up the storyline. I am a sucker for a Louisiana backdrop, especially SE Louisiana. Cannot wait to see what else this author puts out.
I just finished listening to the audiobook of Never Stop and I had to share some of my thoughts because this book was just too good!
Audio Book Review: I adored this book! The story was incredible and well written. This book gave me all of the feels that come with any good romance… but I can tell the author wanted to weave a story with relatable tension and exciting conflicts. Let me say… her ROMANTIC SUSPENSE goal has been reached! I was on the edge of my seat for most of it! (If I had a wig, it would have flown off… due to the events in this book!) 🤯 The narration was on another level- this is a fabulous audiobook and the performances of Lauren Beck & Leon Knightley were perfection! They truly made these characters come to life. Overall, highly recommend this audiobook!
Story Review: I am so impressed by Addie’s writing! She has a talent for writing realistic dialogue that sounds natural for the characters who are speaking. Her characters are well developed and believable… at no point in the story did I ever have to guess what her characters motivations were or what mattered most to them… each character’s personality, goals, and struggles were crystal clear and consistent throughout the story. What I did keep me guessing was the roller coaster ride of suspense I did not know I was buckled up for, when starting this book! This book took me on an emotionally charged journey but delivered such a satisfying
Chapters 15-17: Addie’s depiction of someone who is battling a traumatic past but finds the strength to be brave anyway was very impressive. People are not one dimensional and too often we see characters with mental health issues struggle unnecessarily because an author forgets to show their unwavering resilience and strength. Women are fighters and though the FMC was forced into a corner and tasked with making very hard decisions that she knew would hurt herself and the people she loved: she preserved. She was brave and fought for her own happiness.
But what caused her to act? Did she do it for herself? No, of course not… because the author knows that personalities like this are more likely to react and care about the feelings of those around her. Our FMC is selfless and can deal with her own pain as long as the ML finds happiness. When she learns that his happiness doesn’t exist without her in the picture… she is finally ready to be courageous.
I just love the fact that the FMC who struggles because of a traumatic past has an excellence sense of humor. That is so REAL! #darkhumorheals
Some of my favorite moments:
“These songs were about love, loss, and yearning.”
“You walked in like you never left.”
“He radiates big dick energy.” 😂
“I shut that bitch up instantly as I deepen the kiss.”
“He never needed my protection, he needed my love.”
Traumance newbie? Perfect for you! The drama!!! The trauma!! This was such an easy and good read! Hard to believe it's her debut book! I love it so much! I'm a sucker for childhood friends to lovers.
I think for a story that deals with such emotional issues the writing at times felt a bit too juvenile for the setting and ages of the characters. I also, felt the pacing struggled a bit and was too drawn out at certain points. However, I did love the romance between Via & Anders and I look forward to reading more stories set in this world!
This one gave me sooooo many emotions I’m still trying to reel them back in lol This book was a fun read and I finished it in a day honestly I could hardly put it down!
First loves, second chances, not knowing where exactly the book would head next? Sign me up baby!
I thought it started out a bit slow, but that quickly changed. Then it became really fun! A roller coaster of emotions that makes you want to keep reading. I can therefore definitely recommend the book!
I was picked to be a ARC reader for Never Stop & let me say it did not disappoint! I went thru so many emotions during the entire book…I was trying to read so fast so I could see what was going to happen next! I loved it. Definitely one I’d recommend!!
Anders SIR!!! You have my whole heart!! 🖤😩I absolutely ate this book up! I couldn’t put it down! I really hope we get more from these characters….especially two characters that I just want to end up together, but I shall not spoil anything!! GO READ THIS NOW!!! You won’t be disappointed!
This was incredibly written. From grief to heart breaking and everything thing in between. I absolutely loved seeing Via and Ander's first shot at love. And that second chance was everything. It was literally fate that they get that second chance together
Gosh what an intense read!! I was sitting on the edge of my seat this whole book waiting for disaster to strike, and let’s just say when it did my jaw was on the floor. What Via and Ander have is everything. So much grief in this book but I still enjoyed it. This book was an incredible debut novel!! I was absolutely terrified for the main characters multiple times in this book so that in itself should tell you the connection I had while reading this one.
