This paranormal romance started out with a bang. Cassius and Eleanor are thrown together quickly. Cassius is a cinnamon roll alpha male werewolf, while Eleanor is a stubborn and feisty FMC. I found it easy to fall in love with Cassius but often found El to be slightly annoying. It wasn't until the last 20% of the story that I grew more attached to her. There were several unexpected twists and turns that I appreciated at the end of the book.

5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ & spicy but not too much 🌶🌶

This was such a roller coaster! My emotions were all over the place. And so much was happening constantly that I had so much trouble putting this down.

You meet sweet Eleanor who recently suffered a loss. And who feels somewhat lost.

Then there's Cassius. An alpha, through and though. He had big energy and was super protective but also a secret softy.

Eleanor is thrust into a world she thought was make believe. And was forced to come to terms with the fact that she was fated to be Cassius' mate. But she struggled with accepting that, rightfully so. She was very strong willed and not afraid to stand up for herself which was fun to read. And I loved how we got to see her slowly realize she did love Cassius.

Cassius was the big alpha of his pack and acted like it too. But deep down he was sweet and caring. He struggled with the fact that the mate bond was not an instantaneous feeling for Eleanor and it took him some time to figure it all out.

Now throw in the secrets about who Eleanor is (gotta read it to find out 😏) and the danger she is in without even knowing it. Then there's the issue of trying to get the pack to accept Eleanor once everyone finds out the whole truth. And the hits keep coming when near by packs come knocking.

This was non stop from start to finish. The romance was well done and the spice was the perfect amount as it gave you what you were looking for without detracting from the story.

I highly recommend reading this one as well as checking out the other books from this lovely author!

- I love the arts in the book
- This book had my emotions  all over  the place and it was such a roll coaster read !
- I couldn't put down the  book as there was so much happening  in the book
- I love  Eleanor  as she is very sweet but she also suffered a lost and endeded up losing part of herself
- ooof Cassius .... he is Alpha. He has lot engery and is very protective... love how he is secretly  a softly in disguise
- Eleanor  was thrust  into the world that she was make believe  but she was forced ro come to terms with the fact that  she was fated to be Cassius' mate
-  In the story you see Eleanor  struggled  to accept that but she is so strong willed and isn't afraid to stand up for herself which I absolutely adore that in this book
- I love reading g and watching that Eleanor slowly realise that she did love Cassius
- Cassius  is the big Alpha of his pack and can  act like it too.  But  in his heart deep down he is sweet and caring.  I saw that he struggled with the fact that the mate bond wasn't an instantaneous feeling for Eleanor  but it did take him time to  figure out everything
-  There are  secrets about who Eleanor really is (I'm not going to spoil that for you as you will have to read the book to find out) and thr danger that she in without even knowing it
- there are lot of issues of getting the pack to accept  Eleanor but once everyone found out the whole truth. 
- the hits that kept on coming when near packs come knocking
-I love this book so much ! The romance was perfect and the spice was the perfect amount as it gave me what I was looking for without getting detracting from the story.

The chemistry between El and Cas! They shift between moments of playfulness, tension, and raw emotion, making their relationship feel real. The way El wrestled with the pull she feels toward Cas despite her initial resistance had me invested in the story from the start. Cas’ protective nature is balanced well with his clear love for El as she adjusts to her new reality. And the plot twists—especially surrounding El’s identity—kept things exciting and unpredictable.
This book delivers on the promises of romance and danger, with enough emotional depth to elevate it beyond the usual werewolf trope.

I only gave this book 4 stars because it left me with unfinished endings. Which can also be very good knowing that you continue on with this book and into others making it a series.This is a spice "come with me or die" story and if you are into werewolves and witches this is for you. I am also very glad that there was pushback from El. I love books that have strong female characters. This story flowed very well and not even half way through I was so close to crying because of how this story was going. It keeps you on your toes and is not predictable by any means. Hopefully there is a part two if so I am there.

I really enjoyed the plot of this book. El annoyed me, especially at the start, but I appreciated how she grew throughout the story. I though the twists and turns and secrets were engaging and I needed to figure out what happened! I think the ending was a little quick, with several important events all occurring back to back to back, but I think that it is leading up to a second book in that universe where they may be referenced back to. Overall, a great read to pick up if you love werewolves and fated mates! This was my first book by Sienna and I am so grateful to have received an opportunity to read it early.

Oh my sweet Cas. I love a good cinnamon roll MMC. El was stubborn and that never wavered. She took me a little longer to like, but she eventually grew on me.

The other characters really helped propel the story forward. It was also a book where the spice was absolutely necessary.

I rated it 4 ⭐️ only because I feel like I have questions about things, but I’m hoping that I will be able to get those answered in a book 2 (fingers crossed).

Who doesn’t love a cinnamon roll MMC? The story of El and Cas includes magic, witches, werewolves, fated mates, angst, spice and so much more! The push/pull relationship between the MC’s was amazing! The ending threw me, i was hoping for a different ending and maybe a surprise? But thats okay! This HEA was a great read for me to experience a new author!

Cassius -
Alpha of his pack -I loved Cas from the beginning of the book he did make me mad but he kept in love with him through the book. I love his strong personality.

Eleanor -
Human/Witch/Seer - El she had to grow on me a little made me mad at time but she grew on the end. A very stubborn young women and a strong willed personality.

I love the story line and how it came together!

Strangers by Fate is my first ever book by Sienna Zini and was a unique take on a paranormal romance. This was a wolf shifter romance with a cinnamon roll alpha and an extremely stubborn FMC who doesn’t believe in fated mates. Add in found family, betrayal, a dash of surprise magic, trauma healing, tension, spice and plot twists, and you have an engaging paranormal read. I instantly fell in love with Cassius, the cinnamon roll alpha, and the FMC, Eleanor grew on me once her walls finally came down (I wanted her to give into the pull of the mate bond earlier on, because Cassius is hard to resist both physically and emotionally/mentally). Each MC had different strengths, and Cassius was patient and willing to give his mate the space she needed to come to terms with feelings outside of the bond. Some of the plot twists were unexpected, and kept me invested in the outcome. The ending was more of a HFN, and left the possibility for more to come!

Damn!

I once said Sienna could write the manual to TV and I'd read it. Because she writes books I adore in Genre's I don't usually read. So you can imagine how thrilled I was she wrote a book in my favorite genre!

SbF starts a little slower than your average fated mate book. I typically love the all consuming love. And without spoiling too much Eleanor is not! She is however a badass, and I could not help saying "Oh Shit" when I finished reading when I was supposed to do something else...

Cas is not the perfect fated mate or Alpha but it's his realness and his flaws that made me love him. Some things are worth fighting for and they both did. No matter the curveballs thrown their way. Curveballs that left me as the reader on the edge of my seat.

Another 5 star read from Sienna for me, and I can only hope she will write more romantasy books. Because boy does her spin on things make it an incredible read!

To say that I loved this book would be an understatement.
I adore everything Sienna writes, but as a fantasy reader, I missed the thrill that reading about magical creatures and powers gives me. So, when I saw that Sienna wrote a paranormal romance, I was all in, no questions asked!

I devoured this book! The story of El and Cas had me hooked from the first words! The way she fights back her nature and the way he waits for her and loves her every step of the way is something that made me swoon. Her stubbornness is absolutely delicious and his patience is what made me fall in love with them.

The spice of course does not disappoint (4 🌶 for me), because Sienna knows her love scenes and knows how to keep you coming back for more.

So five stars very well deserved! Fantasy suits this author and I hope she'll write more like this in the future.

Is there anything this author isn't capable of writing? This fantasy book has become one of my favourites, strong characters( we really should learn a thing or two out of Eleanor) she annoyed me at times too!! Just love him and accept your soul mate lady, she didn't give up on her personal dreams and that's a life lesson , Sienna Zini always always teaches us how to love ourselves in her female characters.
Cas is a dream, strong, a heart of gold, protective and mighty hot.
Loved the twist and turns in this book, love a well developed storyline. The spice, the spice as always between sweet and in my opinion 5 chilly peppers. Some scenes will forever live rent free in my head.

This is the second book I’ve read by this author and, although very different from the previous one, it was equally as good. Eleanor’s story starts normally enough with the usual hopes and dreams of someone her age. However, once she meets Cassius, things begin to change and both Eleanor and the reader discover things about her that she was unaware of. At times, poor Cassius just didn’t know how to deal with her, being totally unaccustomed to, and flummoxed by, her behaviour and reaction to events. He is just so patient and protective!
Both Eleanor and Cassius have to make a choice and I couldn’t be sure what they’d decide amidst the unpredictable twists and turns that take place. Plenty of spicy and caring scenes too mixed with threats and danger circling ever closer….

Great werewolf book. I love the authors voice and all of the characters and world building. The balance and structure was a little off. There were times it felt like pure smut and there were times the structure was a little frustrating. Overall the pluses far outweigh the minuses.

I was honored to beta read for Sienna's romantasy debut. I already knew she's a talented author but she indeed outdid herself! The wip version was such a unique and intriguing tale, and I couldn't wait for the final book to arrive on my kindle to reread it 🥰
Oh, maaan how much I love Cassius 🥵🐺 and the way he takes care of his woman even tho she can be a handful at times. That's a keeper!
