Delaney Beaumont is more likely to flip you the bird than she is to say hello. A workaholic during the week as a free-lance graphic designer, by weekend she's a partying alcoholic. Laney's MO is always the same: party and drink until she blacks out. Every weekend she wakes up in bed with a strange man and no memory of how she wound up there. But, she doesn't care. Because when she leaves his apartment, she'll never see him again. It's the way she's gone about it for years and it suits her needs just fine.

That is...until the day she wakes up in Jackson Turner's bed.

Jackson Turner is a tattoo artist and owner of four shops in the Colorado area. He wanted Delaney from the moment he set eyes on her. Their night together is nothing short of crazy, and Jackson knows that he has to have Laney in his life for good. Convincing her, while dealing with the consequences of their night together, will be easier said than done.

If you love someone set them free. Then get ready with a bottle of Jack.

Just Good Friends is my debut book. Winning Back Ryan, a New Adult romance will be out July 30th. It's sequel, Getting Back Annie will be released shortly after. Office Perks a stand alone romance will be released October.

I live in NJ with my husband, daughter, and two dogs. I like going to diners on the weekend for inspiration, drink a pot of coffee a day, and hate referring to myself in the third person. I also have a university degree in sarcasm and enjoy using my smart mouth whenever an opportunity arises.

Was recommended this book by a friend and was not disappointed.
This tells the story of Delaney and Jackson who are definitely drawn together from the off.
Laney likes to drink her self into oblivion before taking home a different guy every weekend. After losing the love of her life at an early age she finds it easier to keep people away from her hence her never sleep with the same guy twice, that is until she meet Jackson.
Jackson, the owner of a small chain of tattoo parlours, walks into a bar one night to see a client and feels Laneys attraction from across the room. After a very interesting start with his client, which involves a shoot out, Laney and Jackson leave the bar together. From there they have a rather interesting night where things don’t really go as planned (but if you want to know what happens then read it).
After their night together, Jackson is gutted to find out that Laney remembers nothing of the night before. She tries to sneak off as normal but he catches her and takes her on her way, he is not happy about this either. She explains to him about her ‘other self’ Double D, who comes out when she has enough to drink that she blanks out. She wakes remembering nothing of her night at all.
This is about Laney finding her way to Jackson after finding herself buried under all the years of pain she has tried to drink and work away.
I really enjoyed this book, and it definitely kept me interested for more. A really good read.

It’s pretty rare that I find I book that I just can’t put down. Stealing Time was one of those books for me. I fell in love with both of the main characters right away, there is something about both Laney and Jackson that makes you root for them and I really enjoyed reading their story.

When Delaney (Laney) was only 18, her husband Bradley died. In the five years since then she has lived a shell of a life, working all week and drinking all weekend. She keeps everyone at arm’s length, not wanting to make any connections. Every Friday night, she likes to get blackout drunk and go home with some random guy. By the morning, she’s gone with no recollection of the nights events. No names, no details and absolutely no repeats!

Jackson is a successful tattoo artist. He keeps himself busy with the four shops he owns as well as a long client list. He is responsible and steady and once he meets Delaney he has no doubt she is the one for him! This is the best physical representation of Jackson I could find. Just add lots of tattoos and some piercings with your imagination ;)

When these two randomly meet the sparks fly instantly! The chemistry between these two characters is off the charts!!! They spend a wild, crazy and very eventful night together and Jackson is sure that he’s found “the one” but there is a big problem. When Laney wakes up she has no memory of what went down and is ready to run! This book is packed with heartbreaking emotion and super-hot sex. I completely fell in love with Jackson. He is an amazing character; big, tough and strong and at the same time so sweet and patient with Laney. I totally recommend this book and really look forward to reading more from this author.

A drunk girl and a really successful guy meet.
They fall in love -
That same night! No really they do.
Don't believe it could happen - me either.
Until I read this book!!!
4.5 brilliant ***** from a new S.L Siwik Fan!!!

This is a full-length novel and has an HEA.

NOTE: I am not a fan of spoilers...that said, my reviews are vague and have only small parts of the book included.

I was generously given the opportunity to review this book. And let me tell you...one-click RIGHT NOW. The blurb sounded like it could be just like everything else but somehow different at the same time. And I knew, even before I fired up the Kindle, I would love it! I'm never wrong - at least not when it comes to books I like!! Especially since this book is written my favorite way...dual POV!!

Immediately, I'm in love with this author. The very clever way that Delaney is portrayed. And the genius use of her inner monologue. Super-tastic!!! Generally, when I read a book where the characters are talking to themselves, I hate it! Hate is a very strong word - but it's true. The talking and carrying on really gets under my skin. However... It becomes the total opposite here! It was almost as if I'd become her best friend and she was talking directly to me. Having these private one-on-one conversations. There were a few points I found myself thinking 'I wonder what Delaney thinks about what's happening'. I found myself being drawn to her thoughts - at times more than her actions. Which is a good thing as sometimes Delaney's actions were questionable. She's clearly searching for herself. Something tragic happened to her 6 years ago and she's been searching since. But searching the wrong way.

"My self-destruct button has been engaged ever since...no one wants a broken person. No one wants to realize six months down the road that they love someone who just can't love them back...I can't give my heart to someone when it's never been mine to give...It's always been his..."

When I first started reading Jackson's POV, I was pleasantly surprised. He's not the normal alpha Hero. He's motivated to become something great! And he's got all the tools to get there. Jackson owns several tattoo shops in the Denver area, he's started a clothing line, AND he wants to pursue a jewelry line as well. Now all this may seem a little off-putting at first. I certainly wrinkled my nose at first - let's be honest, what sexy man who can give you exquisite pleasure and have a jewelry line?? Maybe that's just my stereotyping of the perfect male specimen - for me anyways. However, my views were almost immediately changed. Jackson's described as having black hair long enough to curtain over his greenish-blue eyes, intricate tattoos, defined abs, trimmed goatee, and a tongue, eyebrow, and penis piercing. Laney mentions that "in that moment I realize he's beautiful". He becomes the one who pursues Laney, even when she doesn't want to be caught. He instantly knows she could be his everything.

"Sometimes the heart knows things that the mind hasn't figured out yet. What I do know is that meeting you wasn't a coincidence; it was fate."

As I continued through this outstanding book, Laney and Jackson advance their relationship. Well Jackson tries to. At first Laney pushes and pushes back, after all she claims her heart is taken by someone who's no longer around. They somehow just fit together like puzzle pieces and they both realize that. It's Laney and her ways of dealing with things that keep them apart. With Jackson, though, it's not about the chase - like you may see from other Hero's. He genuinely loves her. From that first night and for him there's no going back. And I didn't wrinkle my nose this time because the way the book is laid out to us, it really does make sense. They both felt something out of this world and I could sense that through the writing. I savored every emotion from him as Laney tries to keep her distance. Laney tries to go on about her way of doing things the way she has for the last 6 years. All the time, I could see she was continuing this mode of self-destruction as she called it. But this time it wasn't just herself she was hurting, she was hurting others, too. At points in the book, Laney and Jackson almost get their edges lined up. These are the very sensual and very hot parts! The magnetism is beautiful! The way that Jackson learns to just let her come to him and how he reacts when she does. Just exquisite!! Then, there's this brilliant twist! I definitely did NOT see that coming!!

"I want to open up and let him in, but I don't know how. I want to tell him how afraid I am, yet excited at the same time. I want to beg him to figure out a way to get through to me."

There are many revelations throughout and they are introduced in a creative way. I like to experience the journey with the characters. It becomes more than just a book to me. This author was able to do that and beyond. With the dual POV and the clever way it's laid out for the reader, this book shifts from just another New Adult read to another FANTASTIC New Adult read.

Thank you S.L. Siwik!! For this unbelievable story!!!

ABSOLUTE 5 STEALING STARS

This is my very first read and review for Author SL Siwik and I was thoroughly impressed !!

Jackson and Delaney are HOT HOT HOT and of course very very troubled.
The emotion that pours out of these characters is so real you cannot help but relate and want to jump right in and help them find their way to each other. I was hooked after the prologue and then it felt like there was a major twist in the first few chapters , there was no way I could put this book down I just had to know !! I read this in 1 day and I was floored with it all. Love at first sight ?? I am a believer now. Can you truly drink yourself into oblivion, spend hours doing outrageous things and then wake up to not remember it all ?? Sounds crazy right. Give this book a chance and you will be shocked.

Delaney , (Laney if you are a friend , Double D if you are a conquest , or Hurricane Laney if you are Jackson) has had a rough life. Back problems since she was a child that left her having a surgery that went bad so she now lives in constant pain. Falling in love young and marrying at age 18 to then lose Bradley shortly after. These are the reasons she justifies her life of graphic design work during the week to then getting wasted and sleeping with random guys all weekend. She conveniently forgets the night before and takes off in the morning to never see the guys again. Delaney believes she will only hurt or get hurt by people so why get close to anyone ? This is her way at least until she meets the relentless Jackson.

Jackson, or Tats , is a very successful tattoo artist in Denver. He works his a$$ off and is well known for it. His life will never be the same after a simple phone call brings him face to face with the hurricane known as Laney. He is immediately drawn to this sexy , crazy girl at the bar downing shots. Little does he know he is about to go on the ride of his life trying to get this girl to remember their special night and why they should be together as was planned.

Their adventure starts at the bar that night but Delaney's POV of the next morning is absolutely hysterical. Waking up , not knowing who he is , checking him out and being grateful that he is hot as hell , feeling his body right down to his "hammerhead" , and then my favorite part , taking a peek under the sheets to then look up and find him taking a peek at her under there !! I was laughing so much I loved it.

Jackson's POV at first fills in all the blanks for us and I really had no clue where it was going but I had to know because I was shocked by it all.

Then we have the title, Stealing Time, fitting into the story , it is more than perfect. Just stealing the time we have. Stealing time together.
Delaney's question , If you were stuck on a deserted island with no hope of escaping , what are the three things you'd want to have with you ?
The way Jackson answers that is swoon worthy for sure.

Their story is a painful one underneath all the hot sex and fun. Delaney has many issues to overcome before she can realize she is worthy of love. Jackson is relentless in his pursuit and it is sometimes heartbreaking to watch him pour out his heart over and over to have her stomp on it. Sadly Delaney is stuck in her past in love with a ghost , or maybe not. In the midst of this chaos is a very HOT love story unfolding. Their actual interactions had me hooked and drooling , the bits and pieces that come back to Delaney had me routing for her to remember it all and have that happily ever after. Her lifestyle and attitude had me wanting to smack her around , and of course Jackson had me swooning and yelling pick me I am right here !!

I cannot say enough about this book it had enough of everything.I am so happy I was able to read this book. Thank you SL Siwik I am a fan for life !!

Stealing Time by S.L. Siwik
4 Out of 5 Stars
Wow is about all I can say as I finish Stealing Time! Raw, incredibly angst filled, dirty-gritty unapologetic escapism, intensely amazing, overly abundant sex, beautiful love that takes your breath away and gives you freedom at the same time; that’s how I would sum up Jackson and Delaney’s encounters from the moment they meet until the last sentence of the book. The thing is, I don’t know if I enjoyed it or not, but it made me feel and that is what good books do! It was so whirlwind and intense that I haven’t quite decided if I wanted Laney to figure it out and be with Jackson or if I really just still believe that she’s going to screw him over and bring him down into her dark “Double D” world. I always try to write my reviews as soon as I finish the book so you get the most honest, intimate review possible without too much analysis, since I tend to overthink things. However, this is a hard one.
Jackson is a super sexy, intelligent, thoughtful, caring man who owns 4 tattoo shops in Colorado. He happens upon Delaney in a bar one night while checking on a client and is immediately drawn to her charisma and beauty. What he doesn’t realize is she drinks herself into oblivion every weekend to escape her physical and emotional pain and finds a hot guy to satisfy her or as she likes to call herself “Double D’s” needs. This one night ends up being it for Jackson, he doesn’t want any other, but Delaney doesn’t do second “dips” and she also doesn’t remember what was said or done. So Jackson is left to give up on what he believes is love or try to convince her that what they have is real, when all she does is run.
Overall it is a very well written book, structurally and thematically it keeps you sucked in and wondering what is going to come out of Laney’s mouth next! Ms. Siwik has a wonderful ability to really develop strong characters and go inside their heads and feel for them. As the reader you truly understand Laney’s need to escape, her struggle with accepting and feeling love, and her anxiety when she runs. With Jackson you just want to grab onto him like a big teddy bear and eat him up!!
The only thing I found personally distracting was the excessive amount of sex in certain parts of the book. I realize this is a personal thing and that it fits with the genre, but for me when it starts getting unrealistic (6-7 times in one evening) I start feeling it is taking over and away from the plot and not adding to it. (But to each his/her own and I did not take away in my rating for the sex because it is a very personal thing.) I also didn’t feel the little extra something was well written at the end…no spoilers here…not that it was bad by any means, but it wasn’t as well written as the rest of the book. It felt almost thrown in as an afterthought, neat idea just not fleshed out. However I would highly recommend this book and look forward to more work from Ms. Siwik!!

... no one wants a broken person. No one wants to realize six months down the road that they love someone who just can’t love them back. It may seem like what I’m doing is cruel, but I’m really saving them a lot of heartache and pain later on. I can’t give my heart to someone when it hasn’t been mine to give since I was a teenager. It’s always been his, Bradley’s.

And Bradley is dead.

The problem for me, though, is that when his heart stopped beating, so did mine. From the moment I met him, he always took it with him wherever he went. - Delany

Stealing Time by S.L. Siwik is written from the POV of both Delaney and Jackson. Laney is seriously broken. She is a workaholic graphic designer who sleeps on the floor in the living room of her shared apartment with two other girls. She goes out every weekend and drinks so much that she completely blacks out and has no recollection of what transpired. She has one night stands on a regular basis. She has no girl friends and doesn't let anyone in.

Jackson is a successful tattoo artist who owns multiple tattoo shops in and around Denver, Colorado. He is not looking for a women. He is happy just the way things are. Until he sees Laney in a bar.

I’m pulled towards her. I can’t tell you what it is- maybe it’s the fact that she’s chugging a drink, or her natural beauty, or the stance she’s taken, one leg up on a chair beside her like she owns the place. One very long leg that I wonder how it’ll look wrapped around my waist. Perhaps it’s the raw sexuality that oozes from her pores, or the quiet confidence that can be felt in every breath she takes.

Whatever it is, I can’t look away. She feels my eyes on her face, and her eyes flicker to mine. I can’t be sure what color her irises are in this lighting. But, as our eyes meet each other for the first time, a voice somewhere deep inside me says, “Say hello to your future.” - Jackson

Jackson is determined to make her his no matter what it costs him because he falls in love with her that night. The only problem: Laney doesn't remember anything that happened, nor does she want to. Jackson never anticipated the fight that he was in for.

“You told me last night that no one’s going to give us the time we want; we have to steal it. So, that’s exactly what I’m going to do with you- steal moments. I’m not going to play fair; I’m going to use anything and everything at my disposal. I won’t stop until I make you see the truth about us.” - Jackson

This is one of those 'love so strong, it can't be denied' stories, but it is told is a different way. Laney is more like the guy and Jackson is more like the girl. He wants a relationship and she doesn't. I loved Laney. She is bad ass and Jackson is sexy as all hell! I definitely will be reading more from S.L. Siwik in the future.

Stealing Time tells the story of Delaney and Jackson, two people drawn together but held apart by life.

Delaney has experienced pain. She has loved and lost and now finds herself barely living, just existing.

Jackson is a successful businessman running a chain of tattoo shops and other enterprises. Little does he know a trip to meet a client at a club would change his life forever.

After witnessing Delaney drinking and losing a bet, the two head upstairs to meet the club owner only to find themselves in a life threatening situation.

The story continues between past and present as Delaney and Jackson’s night of exploits are told alongside the morning after. Delaney drinks until she blacks out, little to Jackson’s knowledge, and everything which happened between them the night before is now a mystery to Delaney.

JACKSON - She’s like trying to catch the wind in your hand. Did I ever have her at all? Did I imagine last night? I’m starting to think so.

Delaney only does one night stands and after leaving Jackson standing, heads home knowing that she will never see him again, or will she?

I loved this story of pain and hope and Delaney, and her alter ego, Double D, are an absolute hoot. Neither really care what the other gets up to. Delaney in her own right is a free spirit but Double D is the party girl who goes prowling looking for men simply for sex.

DELANEY – The dark doesn’t frighten me; I’ve been cloaked in it for years.

Jackson won’t give up the fight for Delaney’s heart though and after her friend, Paige, contacts him to inform him that Delaney is ill, he finds himself once again taking care of her, albeit against her will.

Sober Delaney soon finds out that sex with Jackson is too enjoyable to be forgotten about though and although her heart tells her to give him a chance, her minds tells her never to trust again.

JACKSON - They say everything that has a beginning must have an ending. But, as my hips rock into Laney, I know they’re wrong. My love for her won’t have an end point, won’t fade with years. Time, death, space, nothing will change that. She’s the puzzle piece…

This is a stand-alone book with a HEA and well worth the read. The story has depth and an unexpected twist to it. You will love Laney’s quirkiness and spunk and the author has captured her spirit perfectly in this book.

This book came out of nowhere. I took this book off the hands of a reviewer who needed time to deal with real life and boy am I glad that I was able to read this one! I haven't read a book in one day in a long while but every single second that I could, this book was in my hands. I tried to slow down but I just couldn't. Delaney and Jackson's relationship is freakishly addictive. Once you start you won't be able to get them out of your head.

Delaney Beaumont is a mess to say the least. She wasn't the girl in school that anyone wanted to be with but when Bradley showed an interest and wanted to be with her, she fell hard in love with him. He was the guy most guys wanted to be in school, gorgeous, popular and smart and he wanted Delaney. So, after graduation, they got married at 18 ... but one day on his way to pick her up, Bradley got in a car accident and died and Delaney has believed she is the reason he died and six years later, is still blaming herself. She keeps everyone at arms length, especially men. She doesn't form emotional attachments. She stays sober 5 nights a week but when Friday night rolls around, Double D (her alternate persona) makes an appearance the moment she's imbibed just enough alcohol to black out. Double D is a hoot ... she picks gorgeous men, has the time of her life in the sack with them anyway they want and then when the cruel light of day rears its head, she gets dressed as fast as possible, never shares personal information and gets out of there like her life depends on it.

Jackson Turner has never been in love. He's stuck with his art, it's what he does. He tattoo's those that come to him wanting a permanent piece of his art on their bodies. He takes pride in what he does and that's always been enough. He's amassed a small fortune and has expanded his business and now is working toward further expanding his Inked Up empire. But one night everything will change for Jackson when he sees a woman that he can't take his eyes off of, chugging a Jaeger Bomb at Club Indigo.

The journey that these two go on after their eyes lock is a roller coaster to say the least but it will have you giggling, scoffing, screaming, pulling your hair out and sighing in aww at all that Jackson has to do to get through to Delaney when she thinks that he should just be cast aside like every other guy Double D picks out on the weekend. Freakishly addictive would be the best way to describe this story and I highly encourage you to read this if you want a sexy, fun, wild, amazing ride!

I received this book to give an honest review. *Possible Spoilers*

Okay where do I even start? You want a lot of sex the kind that has you going hot damn she can't walk then this is a book for you to read. You want a bit of two messed up people that seem to come together? Than this is the book for you.

We meet Delaney who also has an alter ego name Double D. Double D is the person that Delaney becomes when she drinks. Delaney drinks because of her past, it is something that she has had to deal with since she was 18 and mind you she is still young.

In enters Jackson a very hot tattoo artist who has his own business. When Delaney and Jackson meet under different circumstances well that is when the night and following days are a whirl wind of trouble, heartache, headaches, sex, and finding one another.

I know most people say the ending isn't the best because that means it is over with. For me the time when Delaney's past comes back to the way the ending came it was all my favorite part. It went together so well that I am glad the ending was written the way it was.

The whole coffee pot incident OMG I died with laughter and I kept thinking wow that is a man who wants to get his point across.

Overall a great story about a damaged woman who ends up finding her soul mate the one that can help control her wild side but make her know that he is hers and she is his.

There were some things that I thought maybe could have been worded differently. For example: She worries her lower lip. I would have used the term chewed her lower lip.
Also I felt as though there were some inconsistencies with the way things were described. Such as once Delaney is wearing heels then the next thing it is boots.

Besides the little things like that, my rating is a 4 star wine glass!! Toast 'em up.

3.5 Stars!!

I was looking forward to reading this book for two reasons. It was something new from an author whose work I have grown to love and the synopsis was intriguing. Unfortunately this one fell flat in some areas for me. There was definitely chemistry between Laney and Jackson but the on goings of their first night encounter were just not believable for me.

What I did like was Jackson or "Tats" as Laney liked to call him. Who doesn't fall for a hot guy with tats and a killer personality. Laney was spunky as all hell and trying to hide from her pain at the bottom of a bottle. But when she meets Jackson he sets her world on fire and makes her want to run.

Laney, "the Little Hurricane", is carrying around years of guilt and using drinking and sex as an escape. But when her past comes slamming into her present without any warning will Laney run to her past or toward her future?

I've been waiting for you all my life. I was starting to think that you'd never come." A tear rolls down my cheek as I shrug. "I like to be fashionably late."

Jackson and Laney's roller coaster relationship was just that. You never knew what was going to happen on the next page. What I found distracting from the story was the flipping back and forth between time periods. I like to watch the story unfold as it happens not having to double check what point of time I am in a story. Overall, I enjoyed watching Laney and Jackson's story unfold and the characters realizing that they may have been broken but together they are whole.

I truly loved everything about Stealing Time. I couldn't put the book down once I started.

I loved both main characters from the start. By the end, I was routing for a happily ever after for Laney and Jackson.

Laney was a lost soul. When she was 18 years old, a tragic accident leaves her broken and alone. Laney winds up putting everything she has into her work. But once that work week is over she becomes a heavy drinker. Hoping to blackout, and find some one to entertain her for the night. No strings attached. That's her number one rule. She lost her heart, with the ability to feel for someone else, a long time ago.

That is until Jackson...

The sexy, tattooed, persistent, god like, alpha male, Jackson.

After one night of amazing, hot lovin they both fall hard for each other. The only problem is, Laney wakes up the next day, and due to blacking out, has no recollection of anything that took place between the two of them.

Jackson is determined to get Laney to remember, to feel again.

Stealing Time was an amazing story of love; losing it, overcoming the hurt, and learning to love again. It was a beautiful read. S.L. Siwik did an amazing job on capturing the realness love has to offer. The hardships some people have to go through behind closed doors.

It goes without saying, I loved every second of this book. I give it a well deserved 5 bold stars. S.L. Siwik you gained a forever fan in me. I can't wait for more of your work!

This book is 4 stars of Holy Hotness!!

Jackson and Laney are thrown together one night which leads to a crazy romantic adventure neither of them will ever forget, but Laney does. When Layney wakes up the next morning, she can't remember a thing from the night before after drinking too much and blacking out. Jackson is certain to help her remember.

This was a cute book, the beginning was a fun ride that I never wanted to end. By the middle of the book, I felt that Layney had a little too much baggage and Jackson had his work cut out for him.
I would definitely check this book out, Jackson makes it worth the while. Very hot and sizzling too! A very enticing story that readers everywhere will love.

3.5 Stars for this book~

Stealing Time is about Delany (Laney as she is know by friends) Beaumont who is an alcoholic whenever she is either out at a bar or at a party. I found Laney to have a very dark past and with good reason, because years earlier something happened in her life that hurt her. Not only did this hurt her but it change her whole outlook on like.

Enter Jackson Beaumont our hero in the story. Jackson has his shit together the exact opposite of Laney. Jackson is both an artist and owner of a few tattoo shops in Denver.

A one night of drinking at a bar Laney goes home and to bed with Jackson. Of course the next morning she wakes with her same attitude that she'll never see this guy again like all the rest. Well Laney dear this one is not the case at all. Jackson knew that the first time she saw Laney he was going to make her his and in trying to do so he has his hands full.

Problem is that Laney doesn't doesn't want any of it or to let herself fall for Jackson because of the hurt that she has suffered in the past. Can Laney let go of the past and let Jackson in her heart? Sometimes letting go is the only answer.

I gave the book 4 stars. Wow, what a ride Delaney (Laney) and Jackson take you on throughout this book. Laney is a mess after losing the love of her life. In order to cope with the loss she drinks every weekend to the point she doesn't remember what goes on. She has drunk one night stands and wants nothing more. That was all she wanted from Jackson, yet after an adventurous night together Jackson feels more from Laney and wants to tear down her walls and her to remember their time together. These two take the reader for an adventure throughout the entire book. I definitely recommend and look forward to reading more from this author. Stealing Time is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

Original, different, beautiful, captivating and addictive story.

I loved it and found myself flipping the pages pretty fast a way past the bedtime. I simply could not stop reading.

S.L. did a great job in writing the addictive plot that just grabs a hold of you from the start. The leading characters Delaney and Jackson are both very interesting and very well crafted. I really enjoyed watching their relationship develop. And I really loved that it was told in dual POV so we were able to see both sides of the story right away

What a great read this was. The storyline was certainly different to what I normally read.

Laney is a right mess. After her heart was broke when she was younger she got into a routine of going out at weekends & getting drunk. She would drink so much she could never recall what happens that night. She had no intentions of changing until Jackson enters her life.
Now Jackson is hot. He's a tattooist & a rich one too. I want my own Jackson.

I've not read anything by this author before so this was a great surprise.
