Sherri Simons should have divorced TJ Simons the same year he left her. Older and wiser now doesn’t make her any less attracted to him. Working in the shop owned by her brother-in-law only ensures that she sees him more often than she would like. He chose to leave their marriage not her, so before she does finally divorce him, she’ll make sure to rub his nose in his loss.

Trevor James ‘TJ’ Simons walked away from the only woman he ever loved to follow a dream. The dream may have only resulted in a few contacts in the music business, some songs with his name on them and a mass amount of life experience, but it changed him for the better. Coming back to the little Florida town of his childhood to face the woman he never actually divorced might very well re-kindle other dreams from the past. Does he stand a better chance at making it in the music business or should he try his hand at love one more time.

It took me awhile to get thru this one. I didn't care for the H or h much so I think that slowed me down. Sherri is a "mature"woman married to TJ a young, hot twenty something. They have been estranged for ten years, and TJ comes back to town needing a job. Bobby and the guys welcome him back with open arms, but Sherri just wants a divorce. She has lived in his g-mother's house during their separation. She has made it a home, but he thinks he's entitled to it because his name's on the deed. Sherri has paid the bills,TJ was last there when he was a child so Sherri is staking claim. They also still have great sexual chemistry, they are still attracted to each other, but time apart has made them both a little bitter. I did enjoy the girls little band and jam sessions with TJ- very sweet. I look forward to Honor Ride with Gretchen, such a great character that has grown up thru all the books. This installment was ok, not my fav.

I had such high hopes for Sherrie. I was rooting for her not to give in to TJ but she just couldn't help herself. After being separated for 10 years TJ is back in town. He wants Sherrie back and she if fighting tooth and nail to resist him.
This disappointing thing is that Sherrie didn't get her chance to put Gina in her place. She should have confronted her and got some answers.

Spirited Ride is a lot like a roller coaster ride...

I've just finished this book and enjoyed it immensely. It's #6 in a series, and while it is stand-alone, there are so many characters from previous stories that I would have liked to have read the books in order. I plan to go back and start at the beginning, though, because all of the characters were unique and interesting.

This is a story about Sherri & TJ. Due to 3rd-party interference, they've been apart for a decade. These 2 have a ton of chemistry and are very likable characters. By the end of the 2nd chapter, I was invested in their romance, cheering them on at the good points and crying over misunderstandings and frustrations. Theirs is not a typical romance-book relationship, and not one that I'd care for myself, but it works for them. His nickname for her is "Puppet" and it is appropriate because he is certainly her master, pulling the strings. But as I said, it works for them. She enjoys it.

I loved that 12-year-old Gretchen stood up for them at the end of the book, and look forward to seeing her own story some day. I'd also like to see what happens to the person who wreaked so much havoc in their lives.

Their reunion certainly had its ups and downs, hence the reference to a roller coaster. TJ knew what he wanted and was willing to fight for it. It was a very rocky road to the happy ending, but it WAS a happy ending.

another 5 star rating I didn't think I'd be interested in Sherry but you got me hook line and sinker on her and TJ's story it was just as interesting as all of them and I was so glad you had alotof the other characters from this series in this a lot as they continued they're lives, Sherry she had a lot of heartache from TJ but you knew who was scheming everything behind their backs and I wish Shery got her hands on her cause I think she is a badass and a good catfight would of been good lol
overall a brilliant series and 5 stars is well deserved

Eu gostei muito dos livros anteriores mas fiquei muito desapontada com este.
Muito chato e a história muito repetitiva e lenta demais.
Eu achei tão chato que só queria terminar a leitura de uma vez e mudar para outro livro.
--------------
I liked a lot of the previous books but I was very disappointed with this.
Very boring and the story too repetitive and too slow.
I found it so annoying that I just wanted to finish reading at once and switch to another book.

Loved it! Good updates with other characters in the series. This story did not pack as much punch as others in the series. The miscommunication thing always frustrates me in a storyline. I mean when two people are married why would you allow some outsider to carry messages between the two of you????? Confusing

I really enjoyed the earlier books in this series, some more than others. This one was blag *sigh* just didn't have the same flow as the others and was a disappointment. I am still hoping the series will continue and the books will be back to their normal fab standard.

I enjoyed reading the 6th book in this series. Rebecca does a great job of adding reminders of who the other characters are and how they fit together but you should read the other books to get all their stories because they are well worth the reading
