Project Nexus: Hybrid
The Senate of Solarna has declared Dr. Freedlander as an unethical scientist, banning him from the Solarna Gestational Biolabs. But that doesn’t stop him from continuing Project Nexus with private funds from a bioengineering company.
Project Nexus was created to produce super soldiers for the Solarnan army until they fell out with Dr. Freedlander. Six new super soldiers, bioengineered to be faster, smarter, stronger, loyal, and unquestioningly obedient.
Then, someone hacks the mainframe, and now the whole project is on a razor's edge, teetering between destruction and redemption.
Now, the six hybrid natae Jeb and Levi- 14, Kee-12, Lin- 11, and twin boys Kit and Kip- 7, who are trained survivalist soldiers, are beginning to change; they are developing a conscious a self-awareness. Something they were never meant to have, and now they have questions.
Their quest for answers may get them killed.
After the natae discover Dr. Freedlander’s plan to reclaim Project Nexus, they decide to leave the lab. However, leaving is going to take something the natae don’t trust. They must figure out who they can trust.
If they are successful, they will win their freedom. If they fail, the natae will not survive the night.

I just finished reading Project Nexus: Hybrid by Valorie Riley on my Kindle. I truly enjoyed getting to know the six hybrid natae Jeb, Levi, Kee, Lin and the twin boys Kip and Kit. I loved seeing their personalities blossom and come to life. I worry about them as the future for them will be unpredictable and challenging.
I’m so not a fan of Dr. F. he is defiantly a villain that needs to be taught a lesson. I’m really looking forward to the next book in this series; I need to find out what will happen next to my new favorite group of characters.
This author has written a wonderfully creative story, with such an immersive world. She has created characters that you fall in love with and care about what happens next with them and a villain you want to see defeated. Also I want a Monkitty.
