When J.A. Stein isn't dreaming up stories of centuries past, you can find her training horses like those in her stories. Or perhaps you won't find her at all, as she frequently disappears into America's stunning wilderness to chase adventure. She loves to read anything with a plot and makes it a goal to write stories that can't be put down.

Great storyline, wonderful character development! Loved this series by J.A. Stein. I have never read such a rich series in such a short time. Page turner!
Violence and romance galore. Not a bad read, but there were a few inconsistencies plus language issues that annoyed me and pulled me out of a generally well written story. Examples include inappropriate words (once the antonym of the correct word), and frequent pronoun mistakes (which really annoy me), generally in the use of subject pronouns I/o object pronouns. For example: ...to Alec and I.
If such issues don't bother you, you might love it!
