This was one of the GREATEST fics I've ever read, and I've read my fair share of it. Everything was so well thought, nothing was skipped over and the relationships were perfect

This goes right up my top 3

So overall I really enjoyed it. Just some general things I wish I’d known before investing in the fic.

SPOILERS!!

1. No smut - but c’mon guys, they’re underage.
2. Weasley bashing (to the point where I felt their personalities were totally misrepresented)
3. Due to Weasley bashing, golden trio dissolves after a few books
4. 75 long chapters- an average of 9 chapters per year. I thought it was perfect.
5. Hermione is a genius and can do no wrong
6. Harry/Pansy endgame.
7. Slytherin six are obsessed with Hermione and know things about her before she does… as 13/14 year olds…
8. Hermione ignores her muggle parents.

I loved wolfstar and I really loved the detailed canon rewrite idea. I know people talked about how Hermione has ravenclaw traits, but I do think if she wasn’t a muggle, she’d for sure be a slytherin. She’s always been fierce and ambitious.
I dig dramione so much, and am always wanting them as endgame. But I was still hoping for a Draco/Ron/Krum tug-o-war.

if youd tell me que at my 30’s i’d be reading a 1000 pages worth of fanfiction of harry potter that would completely rewrite the canon of the entire series

i honestly think i would be like ok girl what are you doing get a life but you know what

it was fun and it was okay and im healing my inner child so whatever

it still better than a lot of books ive read in my time

I want to start this review off same as I do always when reviewing Fan Fiction on Goodreads by saying that I understand the controversy around reviewing fanfic on good reads but it’s the only place I log my reading, so this is for personal looking back only.

Because of that I wanted to add a disclaimer:
It is illegal to purchase fan fiction and is a breach of copyright laws to make money from other peoples characters. If you want a physical copy of this book please download and bind yourself.

This fic took me a while to finish.. it is LARGE. It did also get a bit long in the middle. I don’t want to say boring because it DEFINITELY was not that but long.

This fic captures the perfect Draco for me, soft but only for her vibes. It gives off the other side of Draco that canon supporters refuses to see imo, him backed into a corner and surviving for his family.

The snakes as a whole were chefs kiss to be fair and although I love me some Ron bashing I feel like this was a good amount of neutral bashing - like he wasn’t a massive knob but almost irrelevant to their lives.

I have only rated this a 3 - one mainly for the middle, that’s why it took so long to read. Two because I’d have liked just a tincy bit more spice. I don’t think it would need loads, because they’re young for a GOOD CHUNK of this fic, but maybe just a tincy bit more detail than kissing and hands and lots of talks of dicks 😂

But well worth the hype in general

Qui il trope FOUND FAMILY regna sovranissimo and I'm down for it.

2/5⭐️ but also i dnf-ed at 85%

Story is amazing but writter so poorly. If you think about your worst fanfic work created by a teeneger without knowledge and skills - yep, that's it. (I'm so sorry to the author). Mostly its just re-written (and sometimes not even changed) literal scenes from original universum. Towards the end I only read thing that did not happen in books.
I love the idea of Snape as a father. The amount of caring he did! And when it was finally brought out to the open how they slowly build a dauhter-dad relationship and created an amazing mismatched but heartful family.
The way I SCREAMED when Malfoy betrayed her in 2 part. I'm so dissapointed he got out lightly and was forgiven so quickly. It has so much potential for the future.
And Parkinson and Longbottom storyline (separate work) - I devoured it.
All in all, it had a lot of potential, however execution failed spectaculary.

Perfeita!!!

I gave it 3 stars because even though the plot is very well written (you still have the main events of HP canon happening and they’re intertwined with this new version), it has a tiny little bit of spice but definitely NO SMUT, I repeat, we have no smut. And I mean it’s not the only thing I like to read but I also think dramione deserves to be written with smut, but that’s just my opinion.

Some chapters could’ve been skipped entirely (the dodgeball chapter anyone?) and not because they weren’t fun but because this is such a LONG fic that you kinda wanna get to the good bits ASAP.

Overall it’s GREAT and well thought of. I would’ve LOVED a further down in time epilogue.

OMG THIS BOOK! Ok, it's crazyyy long, because it starts with Hermione in 1st year and follows her through all years in school, but she was sorted into Slytherin instead of Gryffindor. Oh wow I just really, really loved this book. I think about it often. It follows the timeline of the actual books, and still has most of the big moments of each book, but slightly different. This is all in Hermione's perspective, and you get to see how she would have handled the situations but as a Slytherin instead. You get to see how she fits in with the Slytherin crowd and who she ends up being friends with from the Gryffindor crowd. I would say more, but no spoilers! Really excellent book!

This has got to be one of my FAVORITES. Definitely a reread! I love it so much!

It has everything I’ve ever loved; the found family trope is the best, brilliant storyline, and the dramione in here is amazing and honestly this is CANON in my mind. It has been 2 days since i finished and I still have a hangover. Everything about it is beautiful!

Also, I would like more details or scenes for the epilogue. I hope a spinoff would happen with a time skip at the end. Overall, I love it. It’s been a while since I read a Dramione fluff.

it was amazing. so far this and manacled are my top 2 dramione fics. it literally answered 90% of the regrets I had with the og books/movies. also the way certain things take place just make so much sense. the growth of hermione, Draco, and harry was amazing too. the way their characters are written matches so much in the earlier books but the changes to their character development still make so much sense. I felt all of the emotions and enjoyed myself

4.5 ⭐️ this was a lengthy one, a full retelling of all the HP books. Lots of minor editing issues and minimal spice. Well done with the two POV and absolutely loved how this author brought all these relationships to life.

This is another canon in my mind now. I'm so happy I took the leap to read this long fic.
Snape being a dad, Remus and Lupin with Theo and Harry, a very morally grey Hermione and no Ron/Hermione end goal in sight? Check

I wasn’t going to give it this many stars because the writing is so bad. Zero proofreading or editing of any kind was done. BUT I LOVED THE STORY AND THE CHARACTERS SO MUCH!! 😭 I will never get over the characters ❤️❤️

loved the plot but the entirety of it let me down I felt a lot could’ve been expanded on or had more details. love Severus tho as Hermione’s dad, and her as a Slytherin super unique.

I enjoyed this retelling! Although this is a Dramione HEA, I wouldn’t say their relationship is the focus of the fic. We follow Hermione through her years at Hogwarts.
