Bounty Hunter and Dragon Dean returns home hoping to spend some time with his office manager and new mate Carrie. What he gets is confusion. He’s confronted with communication and connection issues. He feels attacked and backed into a corner with no direction to go in. To find a place to start he turns to Sundae’s Adult Easter Baskets hoping that this will give him a handhold to grip as he tries to break through the walls both of them have erected due to their pasts.
Carrie has missed her mate but can’t take the lack of communication she feels when he’s on the job. For the longest time she’s been alone. Now that she has a mate she wants to feel that connection to another person. She doesn’t know why Dean holds himself back from her, both on the road and while at home. She needs him to be present and here, to open up to her. But if she pushes too hard she could lose him forever. Can Sundae's keep it's sexily ever after guarantee?

I/R Author, Selena Illyria was born with need to write and an over active imagination. She loves to write stories featuring futuristic cities that can only be imagined, visit island kingdoms of vampire/dragons, giggle with mischievous pixies, peek in on faeries looking for their mates, check in on the naughty staff of an exclusive academy, and sigh over how in love a powerful business exec is with his wife. She can’t wait to write stories with her talented, creative and wonderful CPs Celia Kyle begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting and Shara Cooper. And when she’s not writing, she loves to read many different genres of books. She also loves to watch some of her favorite movies (too many to be named) and televisions shows. She also, loves to listen to some of her favorite musical artists. All of these things help inspire her to write. She does believe in the quote above. She does believe that part of writing does bare a part of the soul.
If you’d like to know more about her, you, can visit the following places:
So, reader, now that you’ve been told you a bit about her. Can she tempt you dear reader? Can she seduce you into her world and show you a bit of her soul? And if you’d like, you can show her a bit of yours. Do we have deal? Please ignore the wicked gleam in her eye, it was trick of the light. *smile*
Short, direct, jumps right into the story. This is about Dean (dragon) and Carrie (Fae). It's about them and their newly formed relationship. It made you feel for them and the trials they were going through, and the emotional issues going on. Lots of sex, some relationship building, and little work, and some humor, but no action/danger.
Would like to read more about this hunter agency, and their cases. Even though it's all about Dean & Carrie, there are others mentioned by name and a few more that don't have a name. The hunter's and their cases could be good reading. Only gave it 3 1/2 stars because there is no action to fill out the story.
Did not realize it was book 6 in a series, but I was able to figure out who was who and what was going on easily.
