Would you count the claws on a grizzly bear? How many petals are there on a pasque flower? "Counting in the Tundra 1-2-3" is a counting book with a tundra theme. Children will enjoy the photographs of the varied featured animals and plants. Each full-page photo is clearly captioned.

The series is ostensibly about counting, but the titles in the "read more," section all focus on tundra animals and biomes. It would have been useful to include a counting book here, and a counting website in the suggested links for further exploration.
